You should get rid of your paid signature with one advertising your site.

Now, perhaps there is no need for new software for the forum, perhaps a small patch could resolve the issue.

Imagine if the people who donated for that forum could get their money back, as they requested.  :/
683  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Recruiting CTO/Co-Founder for Bitcoin sidechain project using Elements on: November 23, 2023, 03:32:27 AM
There was a time when this would've been not just the best, but really one of the only places to find the type of person we're  looking for.

I was here during those times, and I still come back now and again. So I figure, maybe there's a chance some others still do as well. It's an extremely long shot, I know and stated this in my last post, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's just pure desperation.

I remember those times.   Blockchain was new, and people developed actual projects.  Then it hit mainstream, and greed took over.   Now most projects are simply copycats.

OP - why not use the free credits of a cloud provider to build a base model for AI trades.   Your parameters could include info about the price, the trading, other technology stocks, etc.

After you record a few thousand data points, your model could start making predictions.

How much $ have you raised?  If you want the "best and brightest" they are probably going to want a six figure salary.

Most forums and many websites (like gmail) are able to save your post in a cookie as you type.  If you navigate away by mistake, the post will be waiting for you if you go right back.

Does the billion dollar forum have that feature?  I got so used to it I forgot this forum is so old... :/
687  Economy / Reputation / Re: OGNasty good intentions (he LIED again lol) on: November 22, 2023, 02:55:40 AM
Wrong thread to discuss your fantasies Digaran - you want OG's lie thread.   OG said he would answer questions honestly and then ignore me.  Once he saw the questions, he decided to lie and and just ignore me.   That is the subject of this thread.

Hey. I hope everything are good with you.

I'm a bit disappointed.   I came back with the proof OG is corrupt, and he can't even be honest about discussing my proof.

Run coward run, the law is coming for ya.   Wink
689  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Building a unique news site need mybb expert on: November 21, 2023, 07:31:28 PM
MyBB is forum software. Shouldn't you look into Wordpress or Drupal for making a news site?

That software does not have what I need for a unique news site.   Wink
690  Bitcoin / Project Development / Building a unique news site need mybb expert on: November 21, 2023, 06:29:39 AM
If you have myBB experience (specifically theming) and are willing to teach me a few things, I'd be willing to throw some crypto your way.   Post here with your experience if interested.   Smiley

All I see from OG is that he is fed up (rightfully or wrongly so, I don't have enough conclusive evidence to say more).

OG should be fed up.  Before me, there were a dozen other accusers.  I'm persistent until justice is served.  Smiley

All OG had to do was answer three questions honestly and that would have been the end of it.  He couldn't even keep his own agreement.

Quote
A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting it, but the scorpion promises not to, pointing out that it would drown if it killed the frog in the middle of the river. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung despite knowing the consequence, to which the scorpion replies: "I am sorry, but I couldn't resist the urge. It's my character."
692  Other / Off-topic / Re: Researchers discover breakthrough “switch” that causes cancer cells self-destroy on: November 19, 2023, 09:27:07 PM
It would be in the medical institution's best interest to invent a cure for cancer.

Cancer is nature's catch-all.   Even if you are healthy and do everything right, cancer will get you.

When they invent a cure for cancer, something else will take it's place.

So you are a NFT trading site?
694  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk 14 years ago on: November 19, 2023, 08:54:16 PM
Seeing how a forum is successful by having a signature campaign, I wonder why the other forum not follow this kind promotion.

Success isn't a large number of mediocre posts.  When you pay people to post, obviously they will post with more frequency, but that doesn't mean their forum is useful.

P.S: OP your website is down.

It's not dowm... he is just posting a www subdomain without forwarding.

696  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Recruiting CTO/Co-Founder for Bitcoin sidechain project using Elements on: November 19, 2023, 08:18:33 PM
Depends on what you mean by a legal framework; as I stated we have an entity and have done a fair bit of legal legwork to the extent that we can plan ahead for the project's growth - but at the moment we are just two people (my co-founder and I) within this legal structure, so take that as you will.

What I meant by "legal" was registered with your local government.   It can be a corporation, a partnership, or a project you are running under the table until it takes off.    The more organized you are, the more likely you are to attract investors.

I guess God actually considers me trustworthy, which is all I need.

OG believes in god as well.

698  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Recruiting CTO/Co-Founder for Bitcoin sidechain project using Elements on: November 19, 2023, 06:58:12 AM
We have a company with shares, internationally registered trademarks, legal opinions and contract templates drafted up, essentially everything in line to begin fundraising (specifically for a pre-seed SAFE round), but our priority at the moment is finding a lead engineer.

So you are just an indie startup with no legal framework yet?
699  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Recruiting CTO/Co-Founder for Bitcoin sidechain project using Elements on: November 19, 2023, 02:55:52 AM
We do not currently have any funding. But we will guarantee very generous equity compensation to anyone able to contribute their time to the project, up to consideration for a position equal to the two current co-founders.

You mention you are looking for a CTO.   Are you a registered corp with shares, or just an indie startup?
700  Economy / Lending / Best chance of getting a loan: Pay back now or later? on: November 18, 2023, 06:59:05 AM
If you are asking for a bitcoin loan without any collateral, it is irrelevant as to when you will pay back or how much interest you are offering, as the instant you receive the coins you end the agreement with prejudice.

The lure of the instant payback was great in the days before the internet; if someone needed money and was willing to pay 50% interest, they would be monitored by a goon until they gave the money back.

On the internet, you can evade my goons every time with efficiency, and then move on without a second thought.

If you have an idea that you are sure will generate a lot of profit, go to a loan shark.   They can make sure you pay them back - we cannot.

Have you heard legendary rumors about an account that catches loan scammers?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSfpoSrCGsQ
