Uhhh....
Please explain unfair ?
A currency not back by any gov. and by just people like you or me.. That to me is a currency of the people..
At the very least, currency of the digital generation.
In terms of unfair.. I think your mixing up fiat and bitcoins.. fiat is unfair...
There exists "rich" bitcoiners and "poor" bitcoiners. People have no say in what "rich" or "poor" bitcoiners do with their bitcoin and they can tell them to fuck off, and rightfully so. What bitcoin enable is the autonomy of individuals, that eventually form large groups and communities. But it would be hard for 99% to compel the 1% to give up their bitcoin.

The only reason why I dont like In crypto we trust is because its a blatant rip off of USD ..
It needs to have it own identity..
Considering how "unfair" bitcoin is, it's really a stretch to call it "currency of the people".
|
|
|
Currency of the People ..
That line says a lot... should be incorporated into a design..
Or " Digital Currency of the People.. "
But how do you explain the existence of rich bitcoiners? I think it should be "in crypto we trust" to emphasis mathematics and cryptography.

The logo is good, it looks slick, sound and healthy. It does not imply anything that could be interpreted as bad or aggressive.
Which logo?

I'll just update my probability of 30% confidence to 75% confidence that he is a manipulator. EDIT: Change my mind back to 30% after reading a thread in the speculation forum.

Meh. I still think he's just making shit up to just fuck with people. * kiba don't speculate anyway. He just hold coins, thus he doesn't care about the bubble all that much.

|

How is that proof? Never mind, I'll just read the lesswrong posts. They're always interesting.

Unless we have cold hard evidence(TM) from mtgox, pirate is just making shit up.

Let me know when one of you built a vending machine or something cool.

Hypothetically speaking, if a Bitcoin nerd managed to acquire commercial property (like a former restaurant or phone store) in order to make a bitcoin community center for a city or a town, what would you want in there? Would it focus on bitcoin education? Providing bitcoin services? Or would it just be a specialized internet cafe? What would you do?
Which town are you speaking of? Personally, I would invade a libertarian town.

Is it possible that you would provide market data on total BTC transacted per day?
|
|

The power that may be is really just a bunch of brats with no sense of responsibility in the larger world. They wanna make mooooooooooney...Until they got screwed over by bitcoin.

Speculation... speculation...and moar speculation.

Bitcurex, you did not answer my question about 2 factor authentication methods.
|
|
|
So you keep all of your cash under your pillow then?
No, but I might keep some there, and some in my backyard buried behind the doghouse of my 130 pound, foaming-at-the mouth rotweiller, and some hidden in my attic with booby-trapped access, and some in my fireproof safe, and some in a bank safe deposit box, and some in the bank, and some... I have mine protected by 100 ninja minons.

Looks great Don't just admire, be paranoid, my friend.

As for the proof, it is coming together. For example, they had two factor authentication turned on for their MTGox account, then for some reason they turned it off before the "theft" occurred.
Doesn't matter. Grand epic stupidity is still the default scenario here, unless you got the smoking gun that there is an inside job.

Currently the top link on Hacker News. Must be a slow day. ^^
I posted that, actually.

They need to stop suing each other and get to the business of refunding the customer. I don't care how much these guys hate each other.
