All created by the same person who was paid ETC to do it. Not to mention it's all old. You're pathetic, bitpop

Guys, ran into a roadblock. Got my nerd friend over now and we were expecting to finish the build tonight but im missing all sorts of connector cables. Im ordering them online now with overnight delivery which only gets them here tuesday funny enough for a service called overnight. lol. But for sure Tuesday im going to be blowing you guys away. I may even start my own thread to show off this beast of a miner. It definitely warrants its own thread so it doesn't just get lost in this thread.
Any updates on this? Would like to see such a miner...

Post fake news dump
How about posting in the ETC thread you created once in a while? No one believes anything you post here anyway

From a recent Ethereum conference. Makes me think of the Asset Exchange. Projects start up, offer ICO (asset shares), then pay divs. If only more people knew of Burst :/ Not to mention, the "token market" exists in a fair and decentralized fashion, starting immediately after first "tokens" are sold...

Another ticket missed with my server up and running
This is needlessly complex to hide the fact that you are just locking up the money supply to prevent dumping and force users to host nodes with a chance that you might get a tiny reward
I gave it another month, but it has failed me again
On to other things with more of a chance for basic user adoption, not just people in the crypto scene
This is the first coin that beat me from a technical and complexity aspect
I just cant see how this could gain popularity with the general population
Moving along defeated and distrought
Are you using cmdline? Are you sure, that you have --enablestakemining and wallet is unlocked? Yes it was unlocked and stakemining Just sent my remaining balance to the exchange so on a positive note I can get out on a bit of an upside I do love this community and the coin concept, I just will sleep easier without the hassle If you change your mind, i'm sure you get help with technical problems in forum or slack. Or optionally use stakepool, when pool does voting and no need to run wallet 24/7. I agree. Solo staking is like running to work when you could drive/bike instead. You can eliminate the hassle quite easily if you stake with a pool. Sure, you could go the centralized stake pool route (take the bus to work) Something about being able to run a less centralized setup that appeals to me though (work at home) It did not work as well for me compared to other POS coins so the effort turned out to be more of a science experiment Its just not for me, but I know others are doing very well with this setup Totally understandable. Hope you watch the market though and we see you again soon

Prediction for #ethereum ecosystem #300 #ICO in 2017 #EDCON I can see that they are quite modest compared to predictions for 2016. They might have a chance to be fulfilled though since classic ethereum is already a considerable part of ethereum ecosystem this year. Really? What were the predictions for 2016? Source?

This thread is for the original classic ethereum. Please, find another place to discuss wallets for the forked ethereum!
bitpop is the owner of the classic one and this one was started by vitalik .... so I post here for ETH Ethf does not have a thread, both are for ETC OK then I'm fucked! ))) Don't believe troll lies. They're just butthurt ETC bagholders.

ico scams on top of ethf scam are a dime a dozen
Someone's jelly that no real projects are being built on their chain... All these ethf scam projects are just selling their ethf and will disappear Right, they're all scam projects just because they were built for the Ethereum blockchain, and not ETC. You're as entertaining (and pathetic) as usual, bitpop.

Hello, Are promises kept by devs? Are features on roadmap delivered regularly? What is overall state of development?
You should ask such questions over here: https://forum.ethereum.org/That's a big topic, mostly opinion-based, and this thread is filled with a lot of trolls.

The PoW difficulty chart is starting to look like Ethereum's did before the price boom

So at times it can be unprofitable to stake ? If the ticket price is too high? ...still trying to learn all of this.
Ticket fee is per Kb. A block currently has just over 500 bytes, so the price placed to fee, isn't the amount that will be discounted from your prize. If you set a 1.5DCR ticket fee, you will actually pay a little over half that, around 0.85DCR. imo for that purpose and for lazy ones there is always https://evolution.dcrstats.com/en pool that takes care of it automaticly, only settings you need to set are max ticket price you are wiling to pay and max fee. easy Some things need to be cleared up. Traditional stake pools don't require trust. There is no risk of a hacker attack stealing your coins or someone running away with them. Because they are not in the pool, they are still with you in your wallet. In evolution you need trust. You actually send your coins there and you can lose them If something bad happens Evolution isn't an official service offered by Decred's devteam, it's a side project, created by the dcrstats pool owner, who is just a member of the community like all of us. Interesting, thank you. So how to join a traditional stake pool? Is it all done from cli wallet? Lots of good stats about Decred here: https://dcrstats.com/ At the bottom of the main page, you will also see a list of stake pools for decred, and some info about each. Just select one, and follow the instructions from that stake pool. IMO, they all have pretty good instructions. Also, while it's true you need to trust the operator of the Evolution service, he is a good standing, active community member and many people use that service because of it's simplicity and effectiveness. Even if you decide not to use it, I'd encourage you to check it out. The UI alone gives a good idea of how voting "works".

Mannnnn I'm stoked about v0.8.0.
It's not often that you get to witness a "first ever" scenario in crypto these days.
Ha! That's true: this will be the first of it's kind in a voting consensus matter. Pretty stoked

I like their demo For crowdfunding, perhaps it is depend on each individual... Some prefer to be a part of the house, some just prefer to be player (to gamble for fun). Me too. I'm looking forward to the release. I think I'll invest some, see how it does, then grab more ROL tokens when they release on an exchange if it's doing well.

One more delay guys/girls.
Decred v0.8.0 is ready for launch, however, the extra requirements placed on the dev team by marketing are taking more time than expected.
v0.8.0 is the biggest release in the history of Decred, so we want to make sure it's absolutely perfect before it is released.
Reasons for further delay include: hf demo page, a testnet faucet, setting up a testnet stake pool, and updating that testnet stakepool UI to allow selecting the "Abstain/Yes/No" options for the vote.
v0.8.0 should be ready for release early next week.
We appreciate your patience; it will be well worth the wait.
Pretty bummed, but that's ok. Thanks for the prompt update on 0.8 release status. I'm looking forward to next week!

I know the PoS phase is going to start, but does this mean that the PoW will end? if so, when is this going to happen and what are going to be the market effects?
ETH miners will switch mining ETHC blockchain. A good portion of eth miners will. I bet equal portions mine DCR, XMR, and ZEC. Ethereum already fills the need that ETC fills, and has a more widely used blockchain and stronger network. Other coins offer other features though.
