701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: November 12, 2023, 11:13:28 AM
Do owners of betting companies place bet on their own platform or is there a policy specific policy that restricts them from betting. Do you think that there would be conflict of interest or that it will be unethical if owners bet on their own platforms. These are the questions that I am seeking an answer to.
If I am the owner, I surely bet sometimes just to test if the system is working. If not, some of the staff will do that but this does not mean we are betting to win unlike the gamblers do. Of course, as the owner of the casino, I don't think it was pleasing to bet in our own backyard as it was good to bet in another place. If they will, I believe it was for some reasons like betting together with their friends, a friendly game probably.

702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin. on: November 10, 2023, 03:39:38 PM
Buy, hold, and sell, and vice versa --nothing has changed with this investment cycle.
Yes, whatever happens, despite the approval or disapproval of ETF, this won't affect the movement of Bitcoin as it pumps, dumps, and makes bullish without ETF. I hope this was very clear to everyone that the future of Bitcoin doesn't lie in ETF or in something that it give hype as it grows and is adopted by the community because of its profit potential.

That is why I don't care about ETFs nor bothered about them as I hold Bitcoin and wait for the bullish season to sell them.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What according to you should be the age to retire from gambling ? on: November 10, 2023, 03:02:11 PM
Many believe that gambling is for young people online as they need thrill and and fun. But I think that even old people can enjoy gambling. There should be any age to retire from gambling at all. One can do this activity and leisure time and thus it does not affect retirement related activities also.
It doesn't matter whether that person, that gambler is 18 years old or 80 years already but as long as they can enjoy gambling and still have the capability to do it, why not? Gambling is not about age but for someone who is willing to accept whatever the outcome of their betting habits. I can retire when I want to, not because I was 50 years old already but because I stopped gambling. The most important thing is that we find gambling as a sort of entertainment and fund, nothing else like a tool for earning money.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: November 10, 2023, 12:43:45 PM
And in this case we can't do anything and have to accept it because technological developments can change anything significantly. And those who play the most role in preventing our children from getting involved in gambling are parents who must always pay attention to their children when using gadgets and playing with anyone, and not carry out gambling activities in front of their children.
Technology development has brought us good and bad influences at a young age. But as we can see, too sad that even kids know about gambling at a very young age due to ads everywhere which is not supposed to happen. I couldn't blame the actions/response of the government but it was too late already what these gambling companies had done already. Even the government will forced to ban ads but since they still allow gambling in their place or country, these kids will find and learn it.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the Choice of Investors on: November 10, 2023, 11:57:53 AM
Bitcoin seems too hot and very popular in crypto which makes it become the first choice of investors while altcoins are just an additional option. If we are looking for a safe investment, nothing can beat Bitcoin.

Remembering 10 years ago while Bitcoin is not yet gaining popularity and hype, only a few see its potential while the majority are just ignoring this. But it has changed already after it hit a huge market pump making huge investors and social media influencer talks about it. It was the potentiality of the project and its use case brought such changes in the entire crypto market.
706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin when trading on: November 10, 2023, 11:17:42 AM
Hi what are the minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin in the safetrade exchange and in other exchanges? I wanted to start using the safetrade exchange but there is no info on minimum amounts...just wanted to deposit the minimum amount to start testing the exchange
You should know more about safetrade exchanges, better if it was clear to you than risky even with the minimum amount lost because it was not really acceptable in a sense that can avoid it. I don't try this exchange nor do I have a plan to.

Each exchange may have the same or different minimum deposit set and it can be found in their rules.
Well, that is a good idea to choose the minimum first but of course, you can't expect big returns from that amount as well. You've heard enough advice and it was your final assessment is needed.
707  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: November 10, 2023, 04:57:23 AM
Yes, you are right, in every success someone has, it is certain that they have gone through various processes that they have gone through to make themselves successful and they deserve that success. Some of the current generation rarely think about their future so they do the right things. they don't need to do it and it doesn't benefit them. This is truly a shame, so it would be better if someone advised them about this so they can change and think about their future to be better.
A generation that is negligent and does not pay attention to its own future will regret it later when they grow up, because such people usually do not listen to advice from their own parents. So you don't need to think about those who are careless and just prefer to relax because they will experience difficulties in their own lives so you only need to think about yourself to be successful because other people do too so you can make yourself successful without having to think about other people.
There is no time for us to relax now, especially if we are young as this is the best time to prepare ourselves for the future and get ready for what is coming.
As inflation keeps on growing, we have to be practical enough when it comes to expenses, or else, they have reason to regret later. Which why we encourage this new generation to become responsible as early as possible and think about a better future. Carrying a huge responsibility at a young age may help them someday.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What conditions might cause you to stop gambling? on: November 09, 2023, 10:35:00 PM
I'm always on the lookout for what is making me break the limits on what things I've set a margin to. For instance, if I have a budget on gambling and for some reason I notice that I have started going off budget, I will call it quit for a period of time that allows me to see a disconnect between me and the gambling habit.
Self control has to be the key if you must control gambling.
Self-control is very important in gambling as we'd never say that gambling was wrong unless we got out of limitation. We don't need to borrow money for this sake and we don't have to compromise our finances as this will cause more problems including family relationships. It is indeed we need to know when to stop and stick to our limit and most of all, we need to carry an attitude of being a responsible gambler who knows the welfare of their family, not just seeing their addiction to gambling.
709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 09, 2023, 09:42:13 PM
The only reason that makes me lose in trading is letting my emotions control my mind and then, out of my strategy.
I tried to work it out and so I took my break, and I know this is very common to everyone.

Trading needs focus and a high level of market understanding while skills can be learned through experience but what happens the most is that they underestimate the market volatility believing that learning the basics is good enough which is very wrong. We'd thought that we could dictate the market movement but too unfortunate that we can't, so we never have to assume that we can it okay, instead we need to work hard and spend more time learning about trading.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 09, 2023, 02:12:37 PM
What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?
- never consider gambling as a source of living
 - never think that gambling makes you rich,
 - avoid getting into debt, use your personal money instead

Gambling is full of temptation especially if you follow gambling influencers which is why you should be careful with your actions and think deeply before doing. A lot of people got involved in crime because of their addiction, we can make it as a reason why we should control our emotions and greediness.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge coin everly hit $1? on: November 09, 2023, 11:06:37 AM
Why do altcoin don't have the characteristics of bitcoin? After the creation of bitcoin thousands of coin surface the crypto market, some altcoin became a huge success but some still reamain dumant and has no hope of even attaining the high of $1

Dogecoin is one of a long time COIN that has been in existence for over 10years now. since December 2013 dogecoin hit 0.0000869 on may 6 2015 and today is $0.076 now am wondering if it could reach $1price after 10years compeard to Bitcoin.
After all, not all people know that Bitcoin is a unique creation and different from others which is why we can't compare altcoins. And this is because of these things;
 - key role and function
 - profit potential
 - trust and market confidence

It is not a question why altcoins including Doge can't compete with Bitcoin because, in the first place, they don't deserved it. Yes, thousands of altcoins, are new projects but guess what, most of them are scams and useless. In fact, Dogecoin became popular because of the influence of EM, not because of its function.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 09, 2023, 10:31:55 AM
When it talks about financial stability, that is the time when we are not worried about the future --we can think about multiple sources of income. We can say starting to build a good career at an early age makes not impossible to gain such financial stability before 40. However, this will depend on the situation of the person, it is advantageous if you are coming from a rich family for this is not hard to reach. But for average and poor people, even at the age of 60, some of them are still working hard.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: November 09, 2023, 06:25:59 AM
In any case, it's good that you've done your fair share of homework first before actually diving into the world of online gambling, makes it easier for you to pick up on concepts and all that shit. But since you're playing on a low budget, I suggest you play some low stakes games instead, and don't play on automatic rolls cause it takes the fun out of gambling, especially if all that you ever really know to play is slots lol.
If that's the only game that OP plays, I suggest that he should start learning about other games because slots is boring af, it's not going to be that stimulating because even without the automation feature, the only difference is you're clicking to start the slots which is not my definition of fun. Try learning blackjack, poker or baccarat if OP wants to immerse himself to gambling, I don't think that there's no other way that you can get bored with those as most of them require your presence of mind which is definitely a crucial thing to have if you want to gamble and have a higher chance of winning.
It is a matter of choice, you may find it boring because you don't like it but other gamblers have different views on it just like OP. Of course, you will choose the game you want to gamble whether it is sports betting, card games, or slots --it is our preference and it is advantageous if we have passion and knowledge in a certain game. Maybe he also has to try other games which might change his mind but it doesn't mean that he needs to leave slots, still choose the field where he feels comfortable.
714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: November 08, 2023, 09:58:45 PM
Everyone understands that trading is about buying low and selling high, but it's not that easy. Trading is more than just technical and fundamental analysis, if it were just like that it would mean that there are more than 10% of people who are successful in trading, but in fact less than 10% of people are successful in trading. Because trading is not only about fundamental analysis and technique, but about intuition and psychology. These are 2 things that should not be ignored from trading and usually these two things are what make people successful at trading. So there is no need to be surprised that there are people who are successful in trading, but have simple fundamental analysis, because they are confident in what they are doing.
Indeed, it is all about buying low and selling in order to earn a profit but what makes it difficult is that we can't predict the market movement right. And in order to understand that market movement, we need to enhance our TA which seems difficult for the majority and this is the reason why many traders suffer losses and even quit.
Indeed, we don't need to be surprised why some people succeeded in trading, the same thing we feel from those who fail. Perhaps, trading is too risky and we can't manage it so well, losses are expected to happen and the impact is huge mentally and finances.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not perfect, and that's okay. on: November 08, 2023, 09:28:04 PM
It is not perfect but still acceptable in the sense that people are benefiting from this despite the risk and FUDs. Besides, we don't need to look for a perfect creation because there is nothing that exists. Importantly, Bitcoin gives us the chance to earn which I see as the reason why people love it. While there are a lot of negative issues blaming Bitcoin, the more it gains attention and interest the more this project becomes more volatile and acceptable to the community. Good thing it is not perfect where there are pros and cons, otherwise we can never see things like this.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 08, 2023, 02:33:02 PM
The casino business is not far different from other forms of business as they all need money as capital - and yes, that is really a huge amount of money. That is why not all have been given the chance to start and own a casino (including me). That is why I don't even think about it, I'd rather choose as a gambler because that is the only thing that I can afford. Perhaps, it was not necessary to own a casino in order to enjoy gambling or let us say, it means of success as I'd never see myself empty even if I don't have it.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 08, 2023, 02:13:00 PM
 - Don't think about winning but rather think about enjoying
 - Don't think about our problem, it destroys our focus
 - Don't be too emotional, accept whatever the results of our bets
 - Lastly, Don't think of gambling as our way of living

Might I miss some but these are the things I did when gambling as I think it was just solely for entertainment and fun.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are too focused on history repeating itself on: November 08, 2023, 11:47:45 AM
You can't blame them either because most of us are hopeful about the bullish event to come. People are indeed holding their coins and it wasn't wasted and in vain, in fact, they got rewards that could make them say "This is it".

Well, we can't expect that everything will happen in the coming days similar to the past but what we have in mind is that Bitcoin will soon to bullish again.
I can still remember my first bullish experience last 2017-2018, the majority had been selling their coins earlier but the price continued to skyrocket reaching its ATH. Perhaps, it was an unexpected scenario but it happened the next bull season when the price made another breaking record, and that made them think that the next bull run would be high.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: November 07, 2023, 10:00:04 PM
Gambling can be used as a source of income but it should not be used as the main source of income or as a job. But if we talk about career, there can be a career in gambling like in the poker world. I've seen some people who play poker tournament regularly and they take it like a career, the more they win = the higher achievement they get = the more popular they will, and they were usually started from small tournament first then go to bigger/higher tournament from time to time. However, I do believe they are not doing it as a job to make money because I believe they have other sources of income.
It is very difficult to become a professional poker player, the ones that you see at TV not only are very good but they have a sponsorship deal with a casino that gives them a monthly amount just for playing poker, so they had it made as even if they are not particularly successful for months they still receive a nice amount of money and this allows them to get through those difficult months, but someone that is just starting does not have that security blanket and they risk a lot in their attempt to become professional poker players.
They are professional players and they are experts in that game making some people sponsor them because nobody was able to choose them and have the name of the casino if they are not known to the people already. They are building their careers as a poker player and have been successful in this but for sure, they are not fully reliant on gambling.
Well, we can say that they are destined to be a gambler and only a few people make it which is why we can assume that and think that someday we can be like them. Who knows exactly?
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: November 07, 2023, 12:28:45 PM
I'm in "Never Get Greedy" because when we do this, for sure you will not end up addicted to gambling, and for sure you will be a responsible gambler because you will also limit yourself to only playing moderately.

You are the kind of gambler who, when greed doesn't enter your life, knows how to limit whether you should continue playing or not, whether you are already winning or losing at the casino. Apparently, in everything you do, you are aware of what you should do as a gambler.

Being a greedy gambler first comes with the reason or purpose why the gambler joined to gamble and bet, you know that life already had really dealt with some people whereby they think gambling is their only last means to result with, so each time they are gambling, they will have to exhibit this level of being greedy in it because they wanted to win and instead, they may be loosing because greediness cannot but complicate the chances for winning.
Then they are wrong and this kind of mindset brings them negative results and losses rather than reaching their goal. In the first place, gambling can never be considered as a source of income nor we can think about making a living as we can't just rely on our future with luck. In fact, a gambler must know their position and we don't have to assume that we can win because our chances are very slim.
 - we need to accept the truth about gambling which is only for entertainment
 - we must not listen to these influencers who keep saying gambling makes you rich
