Wouldn't most agree is to get on some coin that is pumping... doge or shiba and similar and then once you double your money or triple it, get out and rinse and repeat?

What can you even do?  If everything is dropping, how do any traders who do it full time even make money?

Isn't it not profitable anymore mining due to the equipment costs?
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: November 08, 2021, 06:54:17 PM
I'm looking for anyone that has bought USDN and staked it.  So whether they traded their waves/btc or whatever altcoin for USDN or did an ach/wire transfer and then somehow got USDN.

Such that they staked it for at least a year and how it went.  Such as if someone got 10,000 USDN or more and staked it for a year and how much USDN balance did they have at the end of the year.

Since I want to know if this is a good way to earn stable passive income similar to how I read you can earn passive income with GUSD on gemini or usdc on nexo/blockfi etc.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interest on Bitcoin on: November 07, 2021, 11:20:02 PM
From what I check online, seems like most sites give up to 6% interest if you have one btc.  But anything more than that, the interest cuts into half.  Is that true for every site?

I mean having one btc is already a lot nowadays and that is a lot of interest since well you getting paid in btc.

But do most people not against this due to not your keys, not you coins?  However, staking is completely different right since you could unstake it anytime?  Could you stake btc instead and if so, what percentage interest you get?
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: November 07, 2021, 11:18:02 PM
Has anyone here traded their waves/btc or whichever altcoin and staked USDN and did it for one year or more?  If so, experience on this?

Has anyone done this with big amounts?  By that I mean at least low 5 figures?
728  Economy / Currency exchange / Neteller for BTC/Zelle on: November 07, 2021, 11:09:41 PM
Hi.  I would like to trade my neteller usd for btc/crypto or zelle in the near future but not now at the moment.

I like to know what sort of vig I will be paying for it?  Example 1,000 USD worth of Neteller would get me around how much btc/crypto or zelle?

Also these neteller funds are gambling funds that I withdraw from gambling sites.  Had neteller account for years and used it to deposit/withdraw from gambling sites.  I saw they had option to buy/sell btc but then I found out you couldn't withdraw the btc to your own wallet etc.  So wanted to know if people here trade btc/crypto or zelle for neteller.
729  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: November 06, 2021, 10:18:29 PM
Does anyone know how long someone could reverse

venmo
cashapp
apple pay

Also, I heard boa/zelle could possibly be reversed?  If so, how long?  I know Chase QP is very similar to paypal in reversal.

I also heard bank wires are still possible to reverse but very hard though.

So basically if that is the case, isn't only payments where it cannot be reversed would be

Cash Deposit into your bank account but you don't send until that night once the bank closes or early the next day?

Payment By Cash but you have to make sure it is not counterfeit?  So you do that by depositing that cash at the bank or atm?  Or using a pen to check each one?

730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Recovering deleted wallet/files from HDD on: November 06, 2021, 09:57:02 PM
So how do you guys handle when there is an issue and you need to bring it your laptop to a repair shop or return it to the company?  Assuming you can just check your hard drive which is to see what is the problem, isn't this already a big issue?  Like imagine it just shows ledger live or electrum as an icon on you computer when they turn it on.

I mean wouldn't they most likely inspect it?
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: November 04, 2021, 05:28:23 AM
Would you say its been going on for some time now?  Even back then I wonder why would ppl talk about it so freely etc.
732  Economy / Exchanges / Binance Trading History? on: November 03, 2021, 05:12:53 AM
Have a binance account where I withdraw the rest of my funds about a month ago.  Basically converted altcoins to btc and then withdraw btc to my own wallet.

My account is unverified and I believe I can no longer trade there.  However, how do I find my trading history?  I remember after I sold the altcoin to btc, it showed the transaction in a few lines such as i sold that altcoin for btc and it showed few transaction since x amount was sold at this price, and x amount at that price even though I sold all of it at once.

When I check my binance account, only history I can find is me withdrawing btc to my own wallet.  How do I find my trading history of when i sold the altcoin for btc?  I checked and cannot find this.  Want to find out exact price I sold altcoin for etc.

Can someone tell me the exact steps on the website on the computer?

I went to overview... transaction history, account statement... I cannot find those transactions of me converting few altcoins to btc... right before I withdraw the btc to my btc wallet.
733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Trading History? on: November 03, 2021, 05:11:07 AM
The trade I did was around a month ago etc.

So where exactly do I click on?

I'm on overview where you can click on deposit withdraw and transfer and transaction history.

When i click on transaction history, it does show a transaction when I withdraw btc from my binance to my btc address.

But i want to see the transactions of when I converted the altcoins to btc... which happened right before I withdrew the btc to my wallet.  Where do I find this?
734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Trading History? on: November 02, 2021, 07:18:22 PM
I'm pretty sure I clicked that and it didn't show anything.  Im using laptop and not the app on phone.

736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Converting Neteller/Skrill to BTC? on: November 02, 2021, 05:05:36 AM
So what would be the purpose of buying/selling btc then on neteller/skrill?  Makes no sense if you can't send it to your own wallet etc.
737  Economy / Trading Discussion / BTC For Bank Transfer/Zelle/Wire Rates? on: November 02, 2021, 12:16:44 AM
Hey all.  So years ago, I remember people mentioned that on localbitcoins, people traded btc for bank transfer/wire/boa etc.  And there is paypal and other options but that is risky because of chargeback etc.  Nowadays, there is now zelle, venmo, cashapp and applepay etc.

Now whether you have bank transfer or zelle/venmo/cash app and want btc or vice versa... assuming you are trading with someone else like on localbitcoins or similar site... what is the generally the rate?  The same with neteller/skrill.

I remember back then bank transfer was close to btc rate... such as if you have 500 dollars of bank transfer, well it should be close to 500 dollars of btc.  But I remember some saying it could be to 3 percent less.  And I remember people said the fee will usually be someone who needs it more... thus if you need btc or boa/zelle/wire etc.

Does anyone know if there are any exchange sites where there is literally no fee?  Like someone who has so and so would trade with you for the exact value?

Or does that not exist?  If it does, obviously it isn't safe right?
738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Converting Neteller/Skrill to BTC? on: November 01, 2021, 10:41:51 PM
Posted this in the btc subforum and beginners but it probably should be here in the trading forum?   So I have some funds in neteller.  I noticed a while back, neteller and skrill which seem to be owned by same company now allow you to buy or sell neteller/skrill for btc and vice versa.  Also could do that with few other altcoins as well.  I do see there is a daily limit for each transaction.

Does anyone know if there is a weekly or monthly limit?  Such as how much neteller/skrill can you convert to btc each day, or week or month etc?  I notice the fee they charge is 1.4% each way assuming you are doing at least 1,000 dollars.  The other confusing thing here is if you buy btc... the btc stays in your neteller account?  Surely you could send it to your hardware wallet right?  That doesn't make any sense unless im readying it incorrectly?

The thing is what I would do back then and still now is trade my neteller/skrill with few people who I done lot of trades with for their boa/zelle.  These are people who are I traded with for a while.  So when I send them neteller/skrill, they trade me boa/zelle to my BoA checking account etc.

But since the people I trade with do not need any neteller/skrill at the moment now.... what is the best way for me to convert neteller/skrill to btc?  Are there sites that charge less than neteller?  I heard about forex exchanges but could that be done for this situation?

Anyone who done this have any opinions?
739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Converting Neteller/Skrill to BTC? on: November 01, 2021, 10:30:35 PM
Okay so if you buy btc for neteller/skrill or vice versa, the btc stays in your neteller account?  I am taking a look at the site and i'm confused by this.  So you cannot send the btc to your own hardware wallet or another exchange?

Surely that is not true or i'm reading this incorrectly?
740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Converting Neteller/Skrill to BTC? on: October 31, 2021, 12:25:22 AM
Well I have neteller/skrill funds that I would like to convert to btc.

The thing is im abroad though... and the only bank account i have is an american bank account.  Thus I want to turn the neteller/skrill into btc.  Then once i have btc, i could then use coinbase/gemini to sell it to my us bank account.

I cannot send these neteller/skrill funds to my US bank account since its not allowed.  I know for europeans that is how you do it.  I do trade my neteller/skrill with other people for zelle/boa but most of the time they don't need it.  And since neteller/skrill allows you to trade for btc, i thought that would be good since i could get btc.  So i wanted to know the limits for neteller/skrill.
