It sounds a little dramatic to me. The Uno community just harpooned a whale and absorbed a 6K uno dump a few weeks ago. And they absorbed a 5K dump from the Coinex theft in 2014 when that was about 6% of supply.
Trading volume moves between the exchanges. Bittrex is generally the most active over the long term. Ccex's Uno market has some depth at the moment.
If someone buys it cheap, they'll probably a) dump it deep, or b) keep it off the market for long term appreciation.
I'm OK with either scenario.

Some great ideas being shared here. Thank you! ~~ Sorry if I missed this if/when it was posted but are the Cryptsy addresses the #1 and #5 addresses on the rich list? Both had activity 10 days and 22 hours ago. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/#!richYeah, I don't quite understand that. The #5 wallet is the old #1 wallet at Bittrex (i/e the UNO stolen from Cryptsy and transferred to Bittrex). The new #1 wallet is the UNO transferred back to the control of the Cryptsy conservator. Somehow, there was 15K transferred to the new #1 wallet. 10K came from the Bittrex wallet, but 5K came from elsewhere, and so 5K still remains in the Bittrex wallet (the former #1, now the #5 UNO wallet). I don't know why it happened like that. Maybe Bittrex had a reason to retain 5K Uno in that wallet, and moved the other 5K from elsewhere. Anyone care to venture a guess?

Yeah, there is relatively little UNO that is actively traded. Maybe 20%.
8 of the top 20 largest addresses have not moved in more than 500 days.
And there is of course some % of Uno that has simply been lost over the years. While the counter shows 197,000 Uno exist today out of the 250K that will ever exist in 300 years, the truth is that UNO is a lot more scarce than that.

Returning coins to the communities would be nice, but I think the details will be hard for the court to work out. More likely they will simply auction off and throw any proceeds into the class action pot.
Some coins with no value will probably just be left for dead.
Do you guys see any way that we could make a group offer? I'm not sure how that would look, exactly. It would be solid for UNO long term if we could buy below market, recoup the investment at market, and put proceeds into a foundation for promotion.
Here is a very simple example in USD: if we buy at 1, sell at 2, it would leave us with $15K for promotion. There are a lot of problems with the example (market depth for one), but it would be nice if some benefit could come back to the UNO community for its work in recovering the value.
Worst case, someone buys it and dumps it on the market for months and drives the price very low.

has anyone noticed there's buy orders for half a ton at .0036-37 on C-Cex?
Are you trolling for a Uno dump? lol

I spoke with the Cryptsy receiver attorney yesterday for about an hour and also talked with the expert in charge of the UNO, GLD, and various other wallets.
Its looks like Big Vern deleted the exchange databases and wiped the disks during his last day in power. So far, the forensic experts have been unable to recover the databases containing user account data. So the pickle at this point is in determining which coins belong to which users.
An official receivership website will be established this summer where news and case updates will be published. We will be recommending that the attorneys ask the court to return the coins to the various communities whereby they can be redistributed, burned, or dealt with in some fair consensus manner.
~~
Great info, thanks for keeping us updated. In my last call, I was also told the Cryptsy databases were wiped, but they hoped to discover a backup. Apparently they were unable. Shame. Most likely scenario, imo, is an auction of the various altcoins that were recoverable. Let us know if you hear anything else.

1:1 UNO:LTC by UNO's third birthday is reasonable IMO. I think that would still value us at well below 1% of the LTC market cap. I agree that the alt markets are important, & B.N. has been talking about it for years it seems. I'd add at least a few hundred dollars of liquidity to those markets with a good bot. Last I checked after F.K. mentioned it here, Cryptopia wasn't listed on the C.A.T. website, maybe that has changed though. In the CAT BCT thread, they said they added Cryptopia.

Watch this space. With a little luck, we may have a new PR Windows wallet in a couple of days.

Some of us did really well in the big whale kill. If you caught 100's of kg's at low prices, congrats. Consider moving some of it to the UNO alt markets. You're already ahead, and lending support to worthy alts you like will make Uno stronger in the long run.

Hello hello Spartans. If I don't know you - can tell all sleep deep winter one No fun a. It's quiet like 200meters under ground here man Damn I'm with you, Blueman. Since that big whale dump, its been way too quiet here. I think the Bitcoin rise has slowed new fiat coming into the UNO/BTC market. Instead of just trading UNO/BTC, I've shifted to developing some of my favorite UNO/alt markets at Cryptopia. I've moved additional UNO over there for LTC/DOGE and about a dozen other markets, including BTCD, ETH and XMR. If these markets are ever going to trade, they need some depth on buy/sell sides. Thats my project this summer... adding depth to alt markets so we're not always enslaved to UNO/BTC pairing. We should be able to trade UNO across alt arb opportunities. Anyone who is not out on Cryptopia yet, join me in the UNO - LTC/DOGE/XMR/ETH markets and lets make things interesting. If we can get moving I'll ask CMC to add them to the market list. If you have these alts, put up some buy orders. If you have some Uno to spare, put up some sell orders. We can bring in new people to the UNO community by joining UNO to worthy alts through active markets. As a super low inflation coin, fair launch, high hash, rare, active dev, and logevity since 2013, UNO is a natural base coin. There's nothing else quite like UNO. You can also find a wide variety of wallets (paper/QT/Android/brain/JS wallet/Electrum/UberWallet), games, support by a bullion dealer, vendors & coinpayments.net. UNO has a very stable floor around that $2/kg range. We have survived Cryptsy/MintPal/Allcrypt/Coinex, and have a saavy community. Unobtanium is a long term cryptoasset with a lot of good things going for it.

There's been some good action on the 50% UNO dice games. Get out there are steal Cryptapus' UNO.

Rising bitcoin makes it difficult to bring new money in to buy UNO. Nobody wants to overpay for Bitcoin, but then again... it's a wash because UNO is pegged to USD at the moment.
Cryptopia used to have a DASH/UNO pairing, but they dropped it. They don't like DASH.
At Cryptopia, the UNO/XMR pair is active. We also have UNO/BTCD and ANC.
I've tried to beef up the LTC/DOGE/ETH markets at Cryptopia a little bit. Its no fun when there's only sell & buy orders of .01 Uno. Lets make an effort to add some depth to those markets both on sell/buy side. There's no reason we shouldn't have good UNO markets with some of these quality coins that have deeper USD/BTC markets.
I'm glad to help make markets for any of the decent coins that show interest. I don't mind holding any of these anon coins I just mentioned, or UNO. Count me in.

With Bitcoin up $80 in 24 hours, there's a lot of red in the markets. This is from #6 lisk on down on coinmarketcap. Its difficult for new money to come in. Even so, UNO is up at this moment. Unobtanium has been very stable versus USD.

Ja habe heute um 9:01 uhr Bestätigt. Bei cryptopia steht seid dann Processing.
Ich schlage vor, eine Hilfe- Ticket mit Cryptopia öffnen.

For the week, UNO has been steady against USD, lost some ground against a rising Bitcoin, and has gained against ETH.
I think there's great potential for developing UNO markets with other liquid currencies like ETH, DOGE, LTC and even Monero.
