From the lack of answers in this thread, the answer is No.
Not even the main devs understand it, they are working on solutions for the mentioned obvious problems of PoW on IoT, or achieving global consensus and trustless DAG-coin.
Coordinator, so far they took a short-cut and they cant provide an answer when if ever it will be turned off.

Ugh, even in our own damn whitepaper (which you clearly haven't read we reference the first ideas of using DAG in 2014 on a public forum, we discussed IOTA with numerous people in the crypto realm before August...

you are wrong. Some people may not to familiar with IOTA because it is not user friendly. I think IOTA team should make user friendly and recover all IOTA's.
Every programmer knows that software can't be made completely fool-proof. So some percentage of failures is expected. A special tool to help the others will be deployed later. Still some percentage of users will fail anyway. |

Here is his characteristic I saw few days ago (I've been seeing similar characteristics every month with regard to different coins/platforms): Anonymint is a well known Monero hater. His mathematics knowledge is a joke; just enough to be able to waste the time of Monero's PhD cryptographers. He's been coming up with imaginary vulnerabilities since 2014. They require ridiculous conditions which exist only in his head.

I unfortunately still don't understand how to use this token, coin, or what ever it is called. I see no use for it since it's not even traded on other places. So to think that this system can be easily adapted too seems a bit false to me.
This is why the marketcap is 1/20th of what is projected for 2020. |
