721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom on: October 09, 2019, 03:16:07 AM
Not every coin recovers when the altcoin season comes. Some investors sell their coins in a cheaper price to cut their losses because they think that a project has no long term potential. I have been to a lot of project where the value of the coin sinks down the drain no matter how hard the developers try to develop their project and of course there are some delays on the way. I guess in some point of time investors get tired of waiting. I believe only coins with established names and workig product would benefit most on the altcoin season.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of bitcoin??? on: October 09, 2019, 01:58:03 AM
Strangely James Bilal Caan claims that he was the founder of bitcoin.. But lost his hard drive.. Is this possible??

What you guys think about James? Why he use this type of statement.. Specially his explanation about his hard drive?

Everyone wants to claim to be the founder of bitcoin but none of them can prove their claim. Satoshi intended to gide his identity and I don't even see any purpose or even any intention of him disclosing his identity since on the first place he left no way to trace him. There had been several personalities who had been claiming to be satoshi and it is ridiculous they all have different excuses or proof that they are satoshi.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 01:26:36 AM
Can we truly have a fully decentralized system? For example, we control our own money, properties, internet etc. If we can, how can we achieve this and what obstacles can we face? I want to control my money and I don't want my government to control what I see on the internet. There are ways of overcoming some of these but the whole internet is coming from the ISPs. We may have a satellite(Elon Musk) for internet which makes the decentralization easier for us.

Anything that is too much is not good. Total freedom or decentralization may be good to hear but once it occurs people would do as they please, and I don't think each individual is responsible enough to even handle their own matter. Imagine being decentralized and a crime or fraud is committed, there will be no law that could govern and handle or even an entity to investigate such event due to being decentralized. Somehow, government still plays a great role on how things are working right now.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling activies correlates with Bitcoin's price? on: October 09, 2019, 12:19:53 AM
Well when bitcoin price is high, with just a little bet of bitcoin would tantamount to a devent amount of money. Thus, gamblers would never risk betting in a huge amount and because of it, gamblers can play longer games because the amou t their betting is smaller than they normally do when bitcoin price is low. On the contrary, when bitcoin price is down, gamblers would have to stake a huge amount of bitcoin to be able to gain more money equivalent to fiat.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin and the games industry? on: October 08, 2019, 11:53:20 PM
Hey guys, I was wondering about Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptos in general and their relation to the games industry

We all know, people at my age (31 years) growed up playing games, surfing the internet and they are  very close to technology in general

Games always have put new technologies to evolving the market, like: Internet to play multiplayer games, virtual reality and 3d to have a deeper experience, photorealism, payment inside app/game and etc

But until now, games industry didn't use any new technology related to cryptos

Do you think they will use?
And if yes, how they can use BTC, blockchain and cryptos in general?

The only and most obvious for me is use cryptos to pay games, in steam, psn, xbox live and etc, but I'd like to see your ideas guys

Maybe you mean famous gaming company such as sony, nintendo and etc. who had adopted blockchain tech or accepted crypto. I've seen some projects here that are somehow related to gaming, but I've never seen any who had survived by far. I mean if some online games accept have gaming credits to buy weapons or gaming subscription or VIP pass, I think they should step up and start enggaging their selves to crypto.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 08, 2019, 11:13:14 PM
Accessing your wallet in a public cafe would put you in risk. If available access your wallet through your mobile phone and make sure that it is secured or you are not opening random mail or links to avoid getting viruses or malwares. Another thing is you can use a hardware wallet which is on the first place the most adviceable storage for your crypto.

728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: October 08, 2019, 03:14:21 PM
If you have knowledge how to trade you can earn decent income, but there is no assurance in trading you can either earn or lose money. The most preferable is to find a freelance job while trading and save some of the amount of your money while trading. But if you are new in trading try to experiment first with a little amount in trading and learn from it.
729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The price you will buy and sell btc? on: October 08, 2019, 12:52:44 PM
Like everybody else, I would buy the cheapest possible. But since I have a full time job and only have my spare time for crypto. Every weekend during may payday I buy and accumulate bitcoin and intend to sell them next bull-run.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: October 08, 2019, 08:11:24 AM
Don't be shocked the market had been that way since the bear market started. Everything fell since 2018 and you cannot blame ethereum. A lot of ICOs failed and even bitcoin suffered. Ethereum is a good platform, give it some time as the market recovers you can see most top coins recovering again.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: October 08, 2019, 07:36:58 AM
An IEO does not guarantee the legitimacy of a project. As an investor it is still your responsibility to read through the whitepaper, check the illegibility of the team ng gauge whether the project has an intention to feliver a good product or service in the future before supporting and investing on it.
732  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Initial Offerings Overpriced? on: October 08, 2019, 07:02:23 AM
It depends on how will you valuate a project. If you see a good potential in the project and the initial price is just right then it is not over priced. It all falls on the investors and the team on how will they carry the project after the initial offering, the development and the demand in the project will place the real value of the project in the market.
733  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: October 08, 2019, 06:30:09 AM
Do you think once bitcoin is accepted as currency, taxes will be removed? I don't think so, tax is the blood of the government. A country will crash down if there is no tax. I think even if bitcoin will be adopted, tax will remain. Maybe we can pay our taxes via crypto when that time comes.
734  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: October 08, 2019, 02:36:56 AM
The cheapest that I can remember when I learned about crypto was when it was around 300$ but I was just a college student by that time and had no means of earning yet. I wish I could've bought some bitcoin and have saved some during that time. What I was not able to do during that time is what I am doing now, to accumulate as much as I can for future uses. I still believe that it is not too late and bitcoin is still undervalued.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 08, 2019, 02:01:17 AM
I have always heard of people who win games with voodoo(charms/certain spiritual power).I know Voodoo is everywhere. They are said to use it to get accuracy in their predictions, permutation, casinos, throwing of dice etc while this will help to reduce to the bearest minimum their risks of loosing.
So, Do you also think this is true?

Each players has their own superstitious belief when gambling. It can be charms, lucky color, coin, socks or anything, just name it. We cannot really validate if any of this is true but as long as this is what players believe then just let it be. I just believe that gambling is purely based on luck and of course judgement and some skill, but if a player believes in superstition and if he thinks this can help him win then that is his own belief. I my self close my eyes and whisper continuously when I bet and hope that I win and sometimes it helps. Smiley
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam? What to do next. on: October 08, 2019, 01:13:04 AM
So okay, this story didn't happen to me. It happened to a friend (let's call him Bob) of a friend (I will call him Sam).

Bob came to me asking is this a scam and is it legal. Bob doesn't know much about bitcoins and crypto, Sam even less.
Sam somehow got in contact with people who offers to open an account and invest into crypto. These people guaranteed a lot of profit. Sam paid 500 EUR at first and other two times a 2000 EUR.
What is interesting, that these people calling him to invest more. But he has an app (I don't know what app, because I heard it from Bob and he doesn't know either) which shows that Sam has doubled his investment (9000 EUR), but he cannot withdraw it now and these people (from Russia) are calling and rushing him to invest even more.

Bob asked me about that, I said that this is some nonsense. There shouldn't be people calling you and asking to transfer money. All is too fishy.

What should Sam do? Will the police help?

Well it is a scam. No investment plan would your double your money ina snap, not in real world and not in crypto. I think the police cannot do anything about it, but if it is covered in your country's law and would.like to pursue to sue the person involved in the scam then your friend can. That is if he has the money to go to court cases, hire a lawyer, investigate, and also if he can identify the people onvolved in the scam, which I think will take a lot of time, money and effort.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't just an investment, it is the future on: October 08, 2019, 12:42:42 AM
If bitcoin will be adopted by businessess, establishments and the government and the mass bitcoin will become one of the main commodity and medium of exchange in the future. Blockchain tech and cryptocurrency still has a long way to go and we dont know yet what development or changes are there as time goes by. Bitcoin will surely be part of our daily lives in the future.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think majority of the people heard or read Bitcoin one time or another on: October 08, 2019, 12:02:01 AM
Bitcoin has come along way we have seen massive adoption and so many videos, news, and articles about websites and many people have invested and are now using Bitcoin do you think after ten years majority of people around the world have heard or read Bitcoin one time or another?

Some people have heard about bitcoin and just ignored it. Most people would be skeptical once they hear about crypto and somw would think that is is an illegal money in the internet, used for scam or terrorist fund and such. I think some people have a bad impression about crypto because of what is going main stream or the news spreading about it. It is good that some people are doing their part to spread crypto awareness by sharing videos or articles in social media accounts to help educate and inform people.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: October 07, 2019, 11:20:04 PM
Honestly, I would consider it and do my part by making my own research by finding out more about the project, team behind it and some basic stuff before getting involved in a project. Anyone regardless of the rank has their own opinion about a project, and rank doesn't reflect if your are to be trusted or not.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tips & Insight For All Bounty Hunters on: October 07, 2019, 08:10:56 PM
Wow, younsurely took your time compiling this information and still I found this very informative. You do have a nice input there. Most bounty hunters would just depend what bounty to join depending on what is famous or who the manager is or sometimes where their friends are. In my own opinion it is good to have your own way and research where to join and look closely on the regulation, distribution and any other rule that applies to the bounty which you think will be convenient for you. Remember that you will be devoting your time and effort promoting a project so make it worth it.
