Well still no luck I have tried three different wallet levels. Loading back up blockchain. I did have errors in the wallet and repaired them but the wallet still refuses to sync. Anyone have any suggestions. See error log below.

Not sure how you got on the wrong chain, but the wallet is trying to get back on but is struggling, due to a large number of reconnects. I would suggest as a quick fix, removing the txleveldb, and blk0001.dat and then either re-syncing with peers. Or you can use this file for a faster fix. Thanks guys, sorry about that. I hadn't plan on moving all int64 to int64_t until 1.6, but looks like it is a bit of a mess, so I'll see about cleaning that up.
Here is my plan for finishing up these last few things before coding up the hard fork.
Add Traffic Network (done)
Add Peer Information(done)
Add some coin control updates
Add totaling of transactions
Add windows shutdown notification. Help prevent wallet corruption.
Fix a few of the things mentioned about S4C
Refactor the combine/split of stakes and allow more user control of it.
Update the Stake kernal, see NVC. This is still a maybe, as I have to test it out for a bit. But should require even less CPU to stake.
Change to int64_t
Add -reindex (maybe)

Your calculation is true, but this equation doesn't take into account the inflation control mechanism. Such interest is possible only on the first stage of distribution. As more coins become available, more people will stake. As more people stake the difficulty will increase. As the difficulty increases, users will either wait longer to stake, or combine blocks to increase their weight. Either way the chance of hitting the max stake increases, and the amount of coins lost to the max also increases. Thereby keeping the inflation rate constant, or even lower then max * blocks per day.  |

Does anyone know the RPC command for CAP's version of stake4charity/autosaving? Thanks  It is autosavings. "help" will give you all rpc commands. autosavings <BottleCapsaddress> <percent> [min amount] [max amount] Also version 2.2 is available which has it embedded in the gui. |

I tried the "claim an address" feature on cryptocoinexplorer.com, but it looks like it's not showing up for some reason. I think Windows wanted to do an update right after this and the wallet shut off. I've tried resending a few times. Anything I can do? Thanks Not sure what you mean by send, but you don't need to send any coins, just use the sign page and then use that signed message on the website to verify. Ah, sry. I meant I tried to use that verify thing a few times and it won't work. It worked on CAP. I don't know if since my first "signature" wasn't showing up on the list that subsequent ones on the same address won't work. I just did one as a test, no issues with the verify, it worked. But it didn't update on the top 1000, so perhaps that just takes some time for it to show up there. |

Ok first off the bat of my update:  HBN https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303749.0So far so good, Tranz has released two updates already since I bought into this coin, he has even built a block explorer into the client as well which is sweet for checking transactions on the go. Still waiting on the major update which is coming soon. I failed miserably at picking the bottom and bought in at 7400 and it hit around 4000 satoshi bottom but my coins have been staking away which helped offshoot any losses( luckily). It's currently sitting ~6000 but looks poised to move upwards as there has been a lot more interest recently.The POS isn't as high as some of my other picks but the constant updates and development are really impressive, I will continue to compound my stake. Started 6500 @ 7400 =0.4822 BTC Current 7855 @ 6000 =0.4724 BTC Total = -0.0098BTC Considering I missed the bottom completely(bought in nearly double of the actual bottom) my stake has really helped me to stay on top, Looking forward to the hard fork and will continue to compound this position. More updates coming in the next few days.. Another way to make your investment back and still increase your position, is to utilize S4C. Using the highest auto sell on Cryptys, you will gain BTC, help the market keep liquid, and still stake at a high % thereby gaining even more HBN in the process. You can increase it even more if you put the BTC you gained back on the buy side(at a lower price)! I see that this coin is coming up on its 1 year anniversary.  Is this coin dead, running in a zombie mode? I saw an uptick on the market but nothing on the forums to show 'whats up'. Thought this coin was a POS coin. Does anyone know what the % of return is currently set at. Maybe this coin needs a makeover. Anyone around..... Bueller  Its still running. I have connections and new blocks coming in. In fact my blocks are about old enough to stake. 365 days. Oh my..  But... Since this is already coded for PoS it wouldn't be much work to get it up to speed with some recent fixes, additions, and a hard fork or 2... |

I switched back to 1.4.0.1 for now. reasons: - The last few days a lot of my staking coins ended up in change addresses.
As the S4C is sent, the remainder of the block is sent to a randomly selected change address. PressF1 has also stated he would like to custom address be selectable for S4C. This is in my plans but for now it is not ready.- Trying to consolidate coins back from change addresses to the original stake address using coin control would fail with "The amount exceeds your balance"
(even though my transfer amount was smaller than the selected inputs - fees)
This I am not so sure about, and is not something I have seen. Perhaps some discrepancy between the wallet.dat and the wallet index(database)- S4C would sometimes send the transaction twice (double the amount)
If the block that triggers the S4C does not get accepted, and you get a new block(re-org), this is possible. It seems to be very low occurrence, but is something I am looking for a solution to. - S4C would sometimes stop working even though enabled (no S4C transactions)
Not sure here, was this after a restart of the client, or while it was running for a while?[/list] I was a bit worried that switching back to 1.4.0.1 would cause wallet compatibility issues but it worked fine and I was able to consolidate my coins into a single staking address again. |

Tranz, was able to successfully add the latest S4C changes to HyperStake! Thanks for all your good work. Should we update the daemon makefiles as well?
Glad to hear it, your start to the gui helped quite a bit, so thank you too. I don't believe these changes require updates to other make files, as the dialog pages would only effect the qt client. Although to be honest I haven't tried a daemon compile in a while. So if you find out differently just let me know.. |

They will show up in the transaction page after the send goes through. You can see where and how much you are giving my clicking on the Stake For Charity tab, or the Network->Extended PoS Information menu option. Well, i am using beta 2 wallet, in S4C tab i see a green text "Thank you giving.....", in Extended PoS Info tab i can also see percentage and S4C address. But i had 2 PoS blocks yesterday and there are no S4C transactions in my list. Did you set any values for the min/max boxes in the S4C tab? I have S4C set to 50% with min = 2. If 50% of the stake is less than what I have set in the min box then the S4C will not split that stake transaction. Believe the default value for the min box = 0. Correct. By default Min is the MIN_TX_AMT which is .0001. Max is MAX_MONEY_SUPPLY which is 120MM ;-) |

Hi Tranz, do you have any best guess what date the eventual hard fork will be?
Nov/Dec most likely. Not hard date yet. I still have a bit more work to do before I code up the hard fork. I have been busy with other things the last few days haven't had much time to code. Why add that max stake? Does the larger block bog down the network? I constantly refold my blocks in to prevent thousands of sub 1 HBN stakes. I'm not quite at the 25k HBN block yet, but I recently made a 20k block.
The main reason is to incentive people to stake on a daily basis rather then only a few times with large blocks. Mostly it would be to prevent someone from simply holding thousands of coins offline, and then bring them back online after a long time and get a very large reward, for doing almost no network protection. I was wondering, and vaguely recall reading some mention of a hard fork coming when 1.5 is finished. Is this still planned/ accurate?
I haven't gone through a hard fork yet with any coins I use. Is there anything to concerned about it (i.e any chance of losing coins?) or is it pretty safe except for those people that are using really older clients ?

As with all hard forks, any coins you have pre-fork are safe and shouldn't be lost. The worst thing that can happen is a side chain can form with clients who didn't update in time. Their old coins again would be safe, but new coins, PoW or PoS mined, would not be valid on the correct fork, once they got back on the right chain. Most of this will be mitigated with alerts being sent to old versions well in advance, and the the automated block checkpoints being issued. But there is likely to be some chaos. Hopefully it is minor.. trying beta 2 - works flawless for me! why hard fork required in 1.5 final? Looking over the new auto saving ability and i am wondering how it works and what are the benefits of using it.Could someone please fill me in on the details? Thanks.
How it works, is top secret!  Actually it is pretty simple, as each new block comes in from the network it checks to see if you just recently had a PoS block that has matured(25 confirmations). Once it finds one, it send a portion of that stake to another address. Currently people are using it for a variety of usages. I use it on HBN to send 50% of my wallet's stake to charities. It is called Stake For Charity there, but operates the same as CAP's Auto Savings. Another option could be to generate a cold storage account and start sending it a portion of your stake. This way it will be offline, more secure, and prevent you from easily spending it. A sort of 401k. This was the intended use for CAP. Another idea is to use it to get a friend interested in CAPs. Just have them get a new wallet and set up like 10% of your stake to goto that friend's address. This will allow you to send them coins while still acquiring them yourself. Finally I know people are sending some of there stake to an exchange to trade for other coins. Stake For Charity and Auto Savings, give the user these abilities and more. It is automatic, it requires very little effort on the users part, it generally uses the least mature coins, it allows your to use your coins and still have more then when you started, and it is fun! A friend of mine who is into MMORPG said I created a HOT(Heal Over Time) for crypto's.  |
