721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5$ transfer fee between bank accounts on: February 04, 2015, 01:50:40 PM
My bank, doesn't charge me anything for anything as far as I am aware of.
I made some transactions to Germany(from Austria) and no fees here.

People told me, they have to pay per posting line and I already thought they are pretty dumb to keep their bank account(since it is pretty easy to switch to a better bank account here in Austria), but I have never heard about paying nearly as much as 5 USD for that.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Memes about Bitcointalk quotes (self-moderated) on: February 04, 2015, 01:32:51 PM
Since my first try didn't work out as expected, I start here the next attempt.
I make simple rules and will delete every post, that doesn't apply to that rules(you can make memes about Bitcoin, which are negative, as long as they follow the rules)

1. Posts must have only the actual quote(using the quote function) and the meme itself(I'd like do make just a collection of memes and not a discussion, so, also not "that is funny"-posts)
2. The meme must have the quote as it's main point(so don't just quote something and than make an animation around it, that doesn't have anything to do with the quote)
3. The quote must have been serious(I know, that is sometimes hard to say, but some things are just obviously satiric and please don't make an alt just to quote him)

For people, who haven't made Memes yet, just use this:
http://memegenerator.net/

So, here is my first example

----------------------UNDER THIS LINE IS HOW IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE ---------------------------------------------

Gavin predicting 'chaos and drama' mentions Bitcoin in the same sentence with 'hightech startups that often fail'

723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memes about Bitcointalk quotes on: February 04, 2015, 01:13:47 PM
Ok, it is getting annoying.
I said Bitcointalk quotes, it is even the subject of the topic.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memes about Bitcointalk quotes on: February 04, 2015, 12:49:40 PM
damn, I forgot, that making memes is so easy, even the trolls can do it Wink

725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is amomg us on: February 04, 2015, 12:41:02 PM
I am pretty sure, he is working on another crypto/P2P-related project.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Memes about Bitcointalk quotes on: February 04, 2015, 12:27:15 PM
I am a little bit bored right now, so I decided to make a meme about one of this FUD/troll posts.

Making memes is pretty easy nowadays, I just use this:

in reference to this thread

I made this

So, I assume you have contributed to the decentralized exchange, BitSquare's crowdfunding campaign instead of just complaining about current exchanges.

You insult me the way a woman would I spit on you.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The long addresses are really annoying with all the letters and numbers... on: February 04, 2015, 12:02:13 PM
I am sure that in few years we will see other form of addresses (shorter?). I personally had an issue, where I met a buyer (For physical goods) and he wanted to pay in BTC. He didn't have any QR code reader and I wasn't able to connect to the network (to mail him my BTC address) He had to copy it manually to send the funds (he used his BTCe account to do so). Was a bit annoying
Blutooth, NFC or even SMS?
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos invited as an expert in silk road trial on: February 04, 2015, 12:00:06 PM
Well, it seems as though they decided against it. They are saying, he is no expert on the subject.  Angry

If he is not the expert, who is? Gavin.......

Oh well... compared to what they know about Bitcoin, he should be viewed as a expert. It might be that they just could not handle him in court.  Grin Grin Grin

This should be a slap in the face of Canada. {They thought he was a expert, and invited him to talk about it in parliment}

Therefore Stephen Colbert is an expert and authority on immigration since he spoke about it in front of Canadian Parliament, right?
They called him an expert at this talk several times.

And he was right.
OP just made some drama, because Gavin said things, every sane person would agree on.
Gavin predicting 'chaos and drama' mentions Bitcoin in the same sentence with 'hightech startups that often fail'

In the same sentence!?!? That's insane!!
Yes, and the next sentence was "I don't think, Bitcoin will fail"

yes, he does but he wasn't asked if he think it will fail - the interview is very freudian and revealing if you pay attention

the usual bitcoin pumping suspects in the thread  Roll Eyes

Guys you are very predictable with your comments. How do your bankaccounts look? Still some ammo left? We need more pumps for the bears to have fun with ...
That reminds me about all this HL3 jokes:

733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2015 be bitcoin’s year? on: February 04, 2015, 09:09:47 AM
I don't think so.

People keep saying mass adoption.  Do they even have an idea how far that is away from where Bitcoin is currently at?

Mass adoption (knowingly or not) is no where in sight.  There is no killer app, there is no reason for the average joe to get in to Bitcoin nor care about it at this point, security is still a major issue, crytos are confusing to tech-illiterate people, vendor acceptance doesn't mean anything other than selling pressure, good news/press generally has negative effects.

As awful as it is to say, but thankfully human greed is helping to keep mining alive.  Speculation buying, market manipulation and the strong taking from the weak hands actually helps keep money in Bitcoin, which we need at this point due to current inflation.

However, this unstable wild west is exactly what is needed for Bitcoin and the Blockchain to evolve and mature over time.

TL;DR

I just care about the price
I corrected that for you.

Vergleiche hierzu: https://www.deutscheskonto.org/de/dkb/legitimation/

Irgendjemand Erfahrung damit?
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2015 be bitcoin’s year? on: February 04, 2015, 08:16:36 AM
Every year is Bitcoin year Wink

But seriously, I don't think, 2015 will be the year we reach mass adoption. There will be growth sure, (by that I mean projects not price), but I think, we will still lack this one killer app, that everybody wants/needs. And even if we will get that, it may take some time, before people realize that.
736  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: Bill Gates und der Bitcoin... on: February 04, 2015, 08:12:49 AM
Was für ne Frage...
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Bitcoin Elite' to Gather on Secret Island for Bilderberg-Style Retreat on: February 03, 2015, 03:22:22 PM
So what's wrong? Has it suddenly become illegal to meet-up between people with shared interests?
Last Wednesday, I had a private meet-up with a woman in a secret place without anyone knowing anything about it. Those things happen!

Then, there's no secret when the list of participants is public. Note that within the 50 people, I only see the names of 4 women. Not enough.
Did she look like that?

739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reputation System for Bitcoin addressses on: February 03, 2015, 12:53:40 PM
I don't really see, what that has to do with Bitcoin.
It is a reputation system for merchants, like Amazon, Ebay, etc. already have.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin cash? on: February 03, 2015, 11:58:52 AM
No, BTC isn't cash. Read the first line on wikipedia.

Don't just read it, also understand it.
