721  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-18] Bitcoin Surpasses Market Cap of S&P500 Companies PayPal and Netflix on: August 19, 2017, 11:14:05 AM
Comparing a digital coin's marketcap with a company's marketcap is not justified.

I think so, bitcoin market capitalization also fluctuate depend on bitcoin price, whenever bitcoin reach higher price, its market cap rise and vice versa. Current price of bitcoin is around $4000 * supply in circulation BTC16,515,462 which cause bitcoin market cap around $67,3 Billion right now https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
If bitcoin price keep declining, then its market cap will decline as well.
So, it doesn't really matter to concern about market cap, but the most important thing is whether bitcoin scale solution could be works and resolve bitcoin transactions problem. Then bitcoin market capitalization will easily surpass PayPal market cap.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges vs Mixers on: August 19, 2017, 07:31:15 AM
Exchanges is a place to buy and sell bitcoin, even though you buy some forks and sell it for bitcoin again, doesn't mean you get cleaner/dirtier Grin coins than you had before? If your intention to launder bitcoin, forget about exchanges and mixers, you would harm their reputation with criminal acts. Mixers doesn't create to laundering coins as there are many reasons why we should use mixers to keep your transactions private, especially when dealing with large amounts.
723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peak of Bitcoin price on: August 19, 2017, 06:34:06 AM
For now, the highest peak was $4500 and it could be profitable for those who have sold and buy back at current rate.
But, I am sure bitcoin price could rise again as bitcoin segwit will be activated in 2 days.
If segwit success and works properly as we were expected, then bitcoin price will be on skyrocket to the moon.
But, if it doesn't work, then bitcoin may drop back to $3000 again.
724  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitfinex doesn't make you feel Mt Gox 2 is on the way? Or it's just FUD? on: August 19, 2017, 05:27:33 AM
Yes, an exchange could manipulate their trading orders and bait more people to buy or sell in order to get more profits, I've seen it for a while and then it just disappeared because Spoofers bid or offer with intent to cancel before the orders are filled.
In that case, if happens a lot in an exchange, this is a sign that you should stay away from the exchanges, just come in, do your business and out as fast as possible. Do not risk your money and bitcoin in an exchange which there are a lot of spoofing acts.
Because if spoofy come from traders, I am not so worry but if it comes from the exchange, bad things may happen.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: Wasn't that good to use bitcoin as your lifetime asset? on: August 19, 2017, 04:45:55 AM
Bitcoin is a good asset obviously and it still in the beginning of development.
Normally, bitcoin should gain more value over time as it is valuable currency and has limited supply.
Bitcoin has growing from nothing to over $4000 right now, so it's already proven as good investment for the future.
The problem is, we don't know what exactly will happen in the future, whether bitcoin would survive and reach $100K or crash and doesn't has value again. But, I believe in bitcoin, so I prefer to saving bitcoin as much as I can for my future, and divide my investment into several assets such as gold, buy lands and make some business.
726  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Best bot for BITTREX and POLONIEX on: August 19, 2017, 03:39:00 AM
Well, good job, it seems another good bot for trading, but is it only for bittrex and Poloniex? Or we can add any exchanges that we want to? I am pretty sure it's safe as we can set it that way; Security Assurance:
Trust with your account API keys is understandably a concern. Once Poloniex's API is enabled on your account, it can be restricted under 2FA from making any withdrawals. See our screen shot below. We strongly encourage all users to make use of this security feature
. Make sure to enable this feature, but I don't think Op trying to get your money.
However, anyone who can take the risk to trust third party, should aware of any secure issue, learn it by yourself.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A on: August 19, 2017, 01:40:44 AM
Well, we can't complain about the big prize to be escrowed or not to convince ourselves to be a part of this game.
As Op already stated it free but only for smart guys or a group of nerds. There's nothing we can do about it but just watch over who will get the prize obviously, unless if you want to give it a shot, just playing without an intend to be the winner in order to prevent stress in case someone else get the prize or there's no prize at all, who knows?? as it is another enigma.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How this picture makes you feel ? on: August 19, 2017, 12:03:40 AM
I'm glad to see it, wondering how much it costs to buy bitcoin back in the beginning of this year and I guess bitcoin reach $1000 in February if I remember correctly. This picture is just another proof of bitcoin price could rise over 400% within a year, or at least for now.
But, I expect bitcoin should be able to reach over $5000 after segwit be activated on August 21st which is 2 days left.
The moral lesson here is believe in bitcoin and don't miss the opportunity to buy bitcoin before it spike over 400% again in the next year.
729  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-17] Egypt’s First Bitcoin Exchange Prepares For Lift-Off on: August 18, 2017, 03:38:02 PM
It's pretty clear statement for govs; For stability of the Egyptian banking system, the banks deal with the official currencies only, and never deal with any virtual currencies. Bitcoin is just a digital currency and no need to deal with central banks obviously, such as in my country there's no any legal regulation about bitcoin but some exchanges could develop and growing bigger. As long as govs doesn't consider as treat for fiat currency, it's fine. If citizens could get benefits from bitcoin and govs get taxes from exchanges, then it's a winning-winning solution.
730  Economy / Speculation / Re: So where exactly are we in the bubble? on: August 18, 2017, 08:23:27 AM
I know y'all have seen this diagram before, and with BTC just crossing $3,800 as I type, where do you think we are in the bubble?

But are we just beginning the true ascent, or have we reached the peak? Thoughts?

Basically, this cycle always repeated again and again in every year along bitcoin journey. I don't think this chart represent bitcoin development - movement over time as in the beginning and midway, bitcoin charts fluctuate a lot but seems increase rather than significant decrease because of fear, capitulation or back to the mean, and in the end bitcoin price should be steady when it reach the highest peak.

But, if we talking about bitcoin bubble, we're still on awareness phase as most people in the world don't know about bitcoin or just know that there is a digital currency named bitcoin, but don't really know what bitcoin is. Wait until all media write about bitcoin and cause more people aware of bitcoin existence and its usability.
731  Economy / Economics / Re: central banks and Bitcoin on: August 17, 2017, 11:52:47 PM
First thing is bitcoin won't replace fiat currency anytime soon, even though in 50 years later I still doubt about it.
Because govs won't let other currency replace their nation currency, and maybe consider to ban bitcoin if they think it's treat central banks authority, such as happened in Ukraine where miners arrested because there's no any legal regulations about bitcoin : https://news.bitcoin.com/arrests-bitcoin-miners-ukraine-questions-legality/
If bitcoin could replace fiat money, if bitcoin reach certain price and huge market cap which can't easily be manipulated. At that time, bitcoin will bring financial stability obviously, because it's not fluctuate a lot anymore and has higher price than any other currencies.
732  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to develop Blockchain Project? on: August 16, 2017, 11:59:22 PM
Do you have any idea about how to develop blockchain? Yes, you can use ethereum, but for what purpose? as a way to crowdfunding or as infrastructure system?
If you want to develop your own blockchain, there are some questions to answer, such as:
- what type of blockchain you want to implement.
- Then, you have to decide on how you’re going to build your mining community.
- Next, you’ll have to figure out how to get the larger community interested in your blockchain. There are literally thousands of
blockchains available in the world today, and the noise crowds out many new competitors.

733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to use Bitcoin in Trading? on: August 16, 2017, 11:26:14 PM
Trade bitcoin is a way to make it fluctuate a lot, no way to make this digital currency less volatile or has stable price if people still treat bitcoin as a trading object. You can purchase altcoins or convert bitcoin into fiat currency but hopefully it can reach some point when everyone could easily spend bitcoin everywhere, so that we don't have to convert bitcoin into cash instead of just using it in daily transactions.
734  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-16]Rising Demand in China Other Asian Countries May Push BTC to $5000 on: August 16, 2017, 05:20:04 PM
Asian countries seems always lead bitcoin global trading and even bitcoin mining, especially in Japan and China.
Govs regulations has a big role to make it happen, which Japan stated bitcoin as legal payment and the last PBOC investigation on 3 biggest exchanges that ends after 3 months but bitcoin still could survive in there and continue to grow.
Another factor is taxes, whenever govs wants their share from bitcoiners, there are several problems will occur to make it happen and strict regulations about it makes people reluctant or aware with consequences before decide to buy bitcoin.
735  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Wallet Recovery Services on: August 16, 2017, 01:17:29 PM
you can still recovery, if iam lost private key and can't access
If wallet file have private key then i can help you.

He already said > Lost private key, he may forget his password too.
In that case, how you gonna help him?
If I've lost my password or can't access my wallet, but still have private keys, then it could be recovered.
Everyone could recover their bitcoin through private keys obviously, without need your service.

I'm not sure about how you recover bitcoin wallet, but if someone using electrum wallet which has private keys, but never export it. Then forget his password, can you help this kind of lost?
736  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ATM Profibility? on: August 16, 2017, 06:56:16 AM
Many people complaining about the fee that occurred when they do transactions, and to be honest ATM is very good to increase the Bitcoin popularity but not many people want to used it, so I don't think it's very profitable to build a Bitcoin ATM machine
Exactly, the reasons why people using Bitcoin ATM machine are first they curious about it after they realize that the fee is too high they leave it or they don't have an option to buy Bitcoin with their cash or convert their bitcoin to fiat, while in most country there's already exchanger on each country, people can easily trade Bitcoin without going outside and lower fee of course, in my area there are two Bitcoin ATM machines as i can see it's not profitable moreover electricity cost is very expensive here.

To avoid that case, bitcoin ATM owners should apply normal fees such as what people always pay if they withdraw from exchanges.
No need to charge fee for buy bitcoin obviously as most exchanges regulate it that way, so it's convenient for customers.
The problem is whether many people will use this machine or not, and how much it costs to maintain bitcoin ATM per month to pay electricity or-and rent a place.
737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in a mood of correction? on: August 15, 2017, 11:54:34 PM
I have been watching Bitcoins all the time after it hit $3000 just a few days back after which a super rally got injected and it inflated higher till it reached its new ATH of 4491 (near to 4500 as mentioned by me and many other speculators), but it looks like it is currently playing sub 4000 but being fallen >10% of its price is indicating that once again we will be getting some coins for cheap. Shall we take it as just a corrective measure and move on and buy more OR shall we wait and see how big will this dip be?

The dip is over right now as bitcoin price already recover and bounce back to over $4150.
I think, maybe $4000 become the new floor for bitcoin price, as it seems persist at this point.
Bitcoin will continue to rise as there's 5 days left before segwit be activated and guess how much value it could gained.
Because bitcoin being pumped so hard, we may see it reach new ATH in this month and in the next month without knowing when it will reach the highest price before get corrected again. Personally, I guess bitcoin could reach $6k in October and start to fall after that.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Uber on: August 15, 2017, 11:43:03 PM
Meanwhile, bitcoin just got integrated with Uber for tipping drivers. Isn't that a good news?

https://twitter.com/Melt_Dem/status/895466611477544960

I've ever heard about it before but not sure if they (re)use this payment method recently.
More business should support bitcoin payment, so people can easily spend their bitcoin and it will spread widely instead of just stay in wallet forever. What left is; scale solution to be implemented in order to minimize bitcoin transactions fees and maximize transaction speed to be confirmed. And that's the way to get more business and adopters to join in this "the best monetary system" instead of just treat it as an investment which cause a lot of fluctuations.
739  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining / Roi / Difficulty on: August 15, 2017, 11:13:42 PM
I know it is not the final mining result because the increasing difficulty is not considered.
But how can I create a relatively accurate calculation how much Bitcoin really end up coming out? Also the fees of Genesis still have to be considered.
I think many users have given their advice for you to stay away from genesis mining as it may be scam or you won't get profits.
the contract will run as long as it can cover maintenance fees which include electricity, cooling, maintenance work and hosting services.

If you invest $13,000 for 100 TH/s and according to the calculation, it takes 4 months in order to achieve ROI and then you can enjoy good profits after that, then it's seems too good to be reality. I am curious too whether you can get 4 months ROI or they will prolong it become 5-6 months to paid off your investment. But as long as you can take the risk to lose $13K, that's all right.
So, I will suggest different idea; Just give it a shot (go invest) and keep post on this thread about your investment progress, so we would know how is it going for you.
740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: give me some tips about trading?? on: August 15, 2017, 05:40:39 PM
hi I am new here..So I am start a trading in different market place.. can you give some tips about trading.now which exchanger is best for trading?

Only 2 exchanges are the best for me, first poloniex and bittrex though there's another contender which is shapeshift.io

Don't use yobit.net as it will just going to give you some headache in terms of their support.

They are the worst exchange after all.

Poloniex and Kraken has some issues regarding their services right now, not sure if already resolved.
And bittrex seems lead the way in term of global trading volume as listed here; https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ after Bithumb, but bittrex withdrawal fees is pretty high as much BTC0.001 when the last time I've withdraw my bitcoin.
I don't know about shapesift.io, but as long as these trading exchanges could process deposit and people easily to withdraw what belongs to them, then it's your choice to trade on which exchange.
