761  Economy / Economics / Re: Farming and it importance to the economy on: March 21, 2024, 05:01:08 PM
Let discuss guys what do you think about farming to economy
Farming is very important but with the new opportunities in cryptocurrency and other fields many young people would not be interested in going into farming when they can get engaged in tech, cryptocurrency and other opportunities in the digital space. This is also a reason why there is also a decline in the number of people delving into agriculture.

It will be difficult to shift the attention of the young people who are supposed to carry on agricultural practice from the new technology and opportunities in the digital space back to agricultural, but it is not impossible if the government can actually make the sector very attractive that it becomes hard to ignore.
762  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are there some charges to use Bitcoin ATMs ? on: March 21, 2024, 04:27:42 PM
I would like to know that if there are charges to use these bitcoin ATMs. What are those charges ?
Companies that set up ATM outlets are not charity organizations, they will never do it without the intention of making some profit from it, that is in fact the main purpose. There must be charges that constitute to profit for the service providers, the company that have installed the ATM and routinely performs maintenance on it.

If we think logically, I think Bitcoin ATMs definitely charge somewhat higher fees due to convenience fees .
Between the P2p that you can do from your phone and from any location, do you still think that Bitcoin ATM's that you will have to go a little distance from your home to use, and may have to wait your turn to use is more convenient?
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your worst nightmare in a casino? on: March 21, 2024, 03:04:52 PM
There is nothing that I am afraid of. My country makes gambling legal and the gambling sites that I am using do not restrict my country. I read gambling sites ToS carefully. I get verified if necessary.
Gambling houses always leave a back door for themselves in the ToS which allows them get out of tough situations and minimize their losses. Knowledge of the terms does not protect from this.
Can a casino or betting platform update their ToS without sending out Notifications to gamblers? It is not impossible, but very unlikely.
Can a gambler miss out on a notification from a casino or gambling platform about an updated ToS? Yes! it is possible the notification is missed because it came at a wrong time when the gambler could not read it, or because the gambler is guilty of never checking their mail.

I believe that a gambler should not trust that one time knowledge about a casino's terms of service. From time to time always try to go through them again if possible to see there are updates that you need to be sure of.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feelings on losing the match and the bet on: March 21, 2024, 11:52:26 AM
Do you feel sad when your favorite team loses a match and the bet (if you had placed a bet on that match)?
The level of sadness will depend on the competition and the importance of the game your team is playing, If it a trophy deciding game, I will feel sad if my team looses. Likewise the level of sadness you will feel if you loose a bet will depend on the amount of money you stood to win, or the amount of money you gambled with in the first place. If you used a big amount in betting, and you loose, you will be sad. If you used a moderate amount and then lost the potential win which was huge, you will also be sad.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer's fan took his own life due to addiction on: March 19, 2024, 11:12:03 PM
I want to quit gambling but I can't. I don't know why. Hopefully this won't happen to me.
Seek professional help if you have tried and failed personally many times before.

What do you think about this?
It is a sad thing and it paints more of a negative picture for gambling. Critics will be quick to fault gambling in general, where as the problem is not with gambling but irresponsible gambling that has led to addiction. We should try to be good examples of gamblers by gambling responsibly always.
766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Success is a meaningless word without failure. on: March 19, 2024, 10:54:39 PM
Lastly, please my fellow beginners let's not be discouraged by the number of losses or failures we experience while trading because failure begets success, also we should focus more on hodling coins even when we trade because we cannot predict the price fluctuations of coins in the future.
Failure may never beget success if you never learn the lessons that needs to be learnt when you fail, and also know the reason behind the failure. Many traders will do better if each time they fail or lose in a trade they try to understand why they failed or lost a trade before trying to place another.

Learning from your mistakes and errors is a good way to make progress in trading, the mistakes made will point you in the direction of where you need more knowledge as a trader.
767  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and it's holders in our society on: March 19, 2024, 10:42:49 PM
What i experience last night made me to raised this topic so we can learn to secure our investment or be very mindful while moving with our smartphone at night it's very risky to lose one valuable asset at this point.
The security situation in different places is different but it is generally important to keep a security conscious mind because regardless of where you are or how peculiar situation will be your Bitcoin can still be in danger if you walk around with the device where it is stored. This is why it is usually advised to have a separate device for storing your bitcoins and a separate device for moving around. If you have separate devices, that way you could always keep safe the device that you have your bitcoins stored at home and avoid any situation where the device gets stolen or you get harassed by individuals along the way who have knowledge about bitcoins.

Along the way going a black cap men stopped us and wanting to search us after which they asked to unlock our device and so luckily I already hide my important app as my instinct leads me, but people around me that entered same vehicle(taxi) with me didn't do that and I noticed they have similar app on their iPhone so the policemen called to asked them about the Binance and other apps in their phone when they opened it they started questioning them about the funds inside and how did they manage to raise those funds although those young men weren't able to speak boldly and to defend themselves correctly and that was how they asked us to leave took them to station for further questioning.
It is illegal for Police Officers to demand to search your private phone without a warrant. The police officers acted outside the law, and it is as an act of intimidation.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All of us are more important to Bitcoin than Satoshi! on: March 19, 2024, 10:28:33 PM
  • Does Satoshi's true identity matter to your BTC investment?
Maybe there was a time where the identity of Satoshi mattered to me but right now I do not care because I'm more focused on investing than trying to find out the identity of Satoshi. I came to realize that there is a reason why Satoshi has decided to keep his identity a secret and since he decided to keep it a secret there is no need for me bothering myself to uncover that secret when I know that it would not even affect my plans of investing.

  • When will the community stop searching for Satoshi's identity?
Old members have stopped, new members still find the topic of his identity an interest.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: March 17, 2024, 10:33:10 PM
-Have you ever bet at the wrong place and the wrong time?

Yes I have but not recently. And it was at a time when I was still guilty of gambling for money, these are the few times that I received game codes for sports betting that someone else analyzed, and placed them most times at the wrong time and place.  I stopped trusting people because of the errors. I feel that any gambler who denies and claims to never have bet at the wrong time or place have maybe not gambled enough or just telling lies to make them look good.
770  Other / Meta / Re: Reasons of be inactive on: March 17, 2024, 07:02:23 PM
it means that many users will silent forum if signature campaign is not on forum, these is my little observations.
Many forum users have the stipends from signature campaigns as the money they DCA as investment to bitcoins. When their signature campaign ends, it is usually emotionally traumatizing to many investors who have a fixed mind that every week, their investment in bitcoins will increase.

Some people require a break to really process it emotionally, you cannot blame them for it.

Another reason can be that because of the signature campaigns that some forum users are in that have been running for a very long time, some members have been exhausted mentally, they take and consider the time their signature campaign stops as a brief moment to recharge themselves mentally by staying away from the forum a bit.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 17, 2024, 06:47:48 PM
The result is I don’t have much energy at work due to insufficient sleep and I lose funds on gambling because I keep playing quick due to my limited time.
If you do not have the free time to gamble, it means that whenever you gamble you will be gambling under pressure, and gambling under pressure is not a good way to gamble because your chances of winning will be limited. Create a time for gambling, so you do not gamble under pressure. If the idea is also gambling for fun, fun will not be had if you do it in a hurry and under pressure because of your busy work schedule, hence the importance to create a time and schedule for it.

An advantage to having a schedule for gambling is that you get to gamble less, and reduce the chances of getting addicted.

We also need to state as a side note that not all games require a lot of time for you to play them, and for some other gambling like sport betting, you can make your analysis in the midst of other activities, it only requires a few minutes to place your bets after you make your choices on sports betting.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2023/2024 on: March 17, 2024, 06:29:14 PM
Hopefully there will be a big surprise for Manchester United at Old Trafford today because the match is still very exciting to watch.
Liverpool threw their chances away, they should have won this Manchester United side that played very bad against Manchester City.  Manchester United have punished them for it, joy to the Manchester United coach who knew at the start of this game that his team had to be spectacular and composed to beat this very good Liverpool team this season. I do not still consider Manchester United as a team capable of winning the FA cup but so far they have been able to stop a potential winner Liverpool from winning a second title this season. The Liverpool players will really regret this opportunity because this was a game that they should have won.
773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone please help with most successful technical indicators? on: March 17, 2024, 05:56:29 PM
Hey Folks, this is not for everyone this is only for those who have been using technical indicators for Crypto trading and not bot, if you could please share which is the best trading indicators (most successful with higher win ratio) especially for Bitcoin and ETH
There are some very successful traders who as a result of experience and the long time they've been trading in the market no longer depend on indicators to tell them which direction the market is going, But as a beginner and at some intermediate level, the understanding of technical indicators will provide a better view of the market. Not all indicators make meaning or are easy to observe in a chat so if you must become conversant with technical indicators you have to make sure that you are selective to pick the indicators with a lot of meaning that many traders agree to.

Now in trying to make a choice on the indicator to use, you have to practice and then pick the one which you can easily identify and the one which you understand most because the most simpler and easier to understand an indicator is, the higher your success in trading can be.
774  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Bank on: March 16, 2024, 11:00:25 PM
Cons:
Mostly not insured.
Always verify the insurance status, so you do not use a digital bank that have faked their insurance status.

Probably bad and slow customer service.
So far because I have had an experience with using a digital bank for more than a year, I can say that their customer service is not always slow and sometimes even faster than the customer service of normal banks. The digital banks that I've used, have actively had customer service agents on their on their social media platforms for complaints, and also on their core lines.

Are you sure they don't have building in your country? try to search the bank in google maps, you might find it in the other city because that's what happen in my country.
Digital banks have physical offices, but not as many offices as the normal banks do. It is for the simple reason that most of their services are online. If they start opening up many physical branches, then they are no different from the normal banks that already exist.

The first leg at the Emirates could make a difference for Arsenal because Bayern Munich are terrible away from home; they perform well with their fans behind them, and if Arsenal want to advance, they must kill the game at home; if they somehow push the game to Germany with a close aggregate margin, they will be eliminated.
Arsenal will have to be ruthless and play like they're already losing the game because every effort will matter. Bayern have won more times from history anytime the two teams meet in the champions league, Arsenal has to claim this one.

if they somehow push the game to Germany with a close aggregate margin, they will be eliminated.
With a close margin to germany, Arsenal still have a chance, we do not concede so much goals.
Tuchel was Arteta's bitch .... Didn't win a single game against him. Is Arteta going to fuck him again? Huh
I sure hope!
776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anxiety in trading (heart disease) on: March 16, 2024, 10:29:03 PM
~
Some personal tips to avoid developing a heart condition from trading or to avoid a heart failure from trading are are;
- Know and keep track of your health condition.
You do not just need to know the state of your heart or your health condition before you start trading you also need to keep track of it by the regular checkups.

- Have a hobby or an activity to help you relax.
While choosing an activity you have to be very careful so that the activity or hobby you desire to use as a form of relaxation does not become something that put a hole in your pocket.

- Have other traders around you as friends who can talk to and relate some trading problems and challenges with, keeping everything to yourself can become suffocating.

- Avoid substances that may heighten anxiety while trading. Alcohol, marijuana, cocaine etc. are some examples.

- Eat well and maintain a healthy lifestyle of exercising.
Trading has a potential of making someone sit at a place for a very long time, as a trader you need to develop a routine of exercising to stay healthy and keep your heart good.

- Learn to stay off the charts.
Constantly monitoring the charts can heighten anxiety.

These are just a few personal tips, there will be more.
777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do big time traders or investors do for fun while waiting? on: March 16, 2024, 10:15:56 PM
I would appreciate the comments from active traders more because it would give a proper insight on how it would look like if I finally make my way into the trading or the investing world and just need to keep focus.
Your hobbies do not have to change just because you started trading. The hobbies that you have and things that you love doing before you started trading can also be the things that you do while you trade provided that it does not threaten to take away or tamper with the capital meant for trading and does not get you overly distracted that you begin to lose in trades.

What do they do as a hobby that keeps them focused on their task?
Do they see movies while trading and waiting for an outcome or do something else during the time?
If you enjoy painting as a hobby, you could be paiting on your canvas while waiting, if you enjoy video games, you could be play a game or two while waiting. If you enjoy anime's you could watch some episodes or scenes while waiting. If you enjoy music, you could play a song, or an album while waiting. The choice of what to do should depend on what you already like. I don't think there are fixed or specific things that traders should do while waiting.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: March 15, 2024, 07:28:05 PM
Penalty shootout in knockout stage hasn't happened for ages, watched some few games and fell asleep half way. No entertainment, no dangerous attacking, no intensity, just low block teams playing deep and hoping to win on penalities.
This is the cry of a Chelsea Fan, the competition is tough, that is the simple reason the games were stretched to extra time and then penalty kicks.

?
I like to watch games with so much actions and goals and that's exactly what the Europa leagueAWS has given me this season. I don't care about the club names, just want to see goals and attacking football.
No doubts about the Europa this season, but it is still not as unpredictable as the champions league is.

I love the fixtures - it was what I expected, the two weaker teams playing against themselves and all the elite teams getting tough fixtures. Safe to say the winner of the City-Real game is winning the league? From my end - Yes.
I pick Real Madrid to win this time, Manchester City are vulnerable this season, they are very winnable. Arsenal still remains very underrated, Nothing is impossible in football, Arsenal can win the UCL. Smiley
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws? on: March 15, 2024, 02:34:25 PM
legality of online crypto-gambling in countries like the UAE or Saudi Arabia, where traditional gambling is illegal, is a complex issue.
Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws?
If something is termed "legal", it is approved by the law. If it has not been addressed by the law yet, it means that it is not totally legal, just as it is not yet totally illegal. Just so you know, you still have to be very secretive with your gambling because if there is a situation where you get arrested by the government, they know the law better than you may do, and there may be a related law that you may be judged with just so you will be found guilty.

Keep your gambling activity private if you are in a country where there are no clear rules regarding gambling.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 15, 2024, 01:57:56 PM
So if you post that you won in horse racing or you post the winning bets in daily lottery you will likely get charged and penalize, so what do you think of this law, is this right?
Considering the underaged, I think this law was made as a sort of protection for them. Yes there are many gambling and betting places around in the society that can also expose gambling to children, but think of it, some of our underaged will not ever step foot in one of those kinds of places if no one from their family or you who they look up has endorsed it.

Your family members who are underaged and other underaged in the society that look up to you are on you socials, when you post up gambling slips or any kind of endorsing content about gambling, they see it and may be inspired to try gambling from that early age because of you.

It makes sense to me that the government does not want people promoting gambling in any form online.
