Andere Möglichkeiten anonym über Tor zu bezahlen?
Entweder Electrum über Tor laufen lassen (nicht empfehlenswert, der Electrum Server kennt all deine Adressen etc.) oder Samourai (Mobile Wallet). Aber Wasabi ist eigentlich schon das beste Wallet mit Privatsphären-Schutz. Zu deinem Problem: Versuch doch mal dein portable Tor zu starten und schau in den Settings welcher Port genutzt wird. Dann starte Wasabi und stell in den Einstellungen eben diesen Port ein ( 127.0.0.1:PORT). Woran es jetzt genau liegt, kann ich leider auch nicht sagen. Scheint jedenfalls merkwürdig zu sein  |

Aber ich hoffe, dass du jetzt wenigstens noch ein Backup erstellst und das z.B. auf einem USB Stick verwahrst  Oder, wenn du die gesamte Blockchain garnicht benötigst, ein SPV (Simple Payment Verification) Wallet herunterlädst, sodass du das gesamte Wallet (alle Private Keys) mit nur einem Mnemonic (12 bzw. 24 Wörter) sichern kannst. Just because some random person is claiming some shit is gold.. it still stays shit. What about Ledger HW1 is that Hardware Wallet or piece of shit USB and why they called it Hardware wallet?
The HW1 is a relatively bad hardware wallet, but it utilizes hardware security mechanisms by using a secure element. One more definition for hardware wallet from 2019: [...] Your all-important private keys are maintained in a secure offline environment on the hardware wallet, fully protected even should the device be plugged into a malware-infected computer.
And this already does not apply to your so-called "diy hardware wallet". If you plug in that device into an malware infected computer, it becomes compromised. This is not the case with real hardware wallets. This project simply is an offline storage on a small dedicated device. One could achieve the same on an old mobile, a laptop or any mini computer. Not saying this is bad. But this, by definition, is not a hardware wallet. |

This is DIY hardware wallet, and it is NOT for newbies and people like spongebob Ledger shiller. Let's see what makes a hardware wallet: A hardware wallet is a special type of bitcoin wallet which stores the user's private keys in a secure hardware device.
They have major advantages over standard software wallets:
- private keys are often stored in a protected area of a microcontroller, and cannot be transferred out of the device in plaintext
- immune to computer viruses that steal from software wallets
- can be used securely and interactively, private keys never need to touch potentially-vulnerable software

Second, the first point ( often stored in a protected area..) does not apply to the mini computer you claim is a hardware wallet. All the other points also apply to a paper wallet. The most irritating (and stupid) copy/paste is claiming it is a hardware wallet. Basically just because it runs on hardware (just like every other software too). A piece of hardware with no hardware security mechanisms is not a hardware wallet. Further, in this thread: As alternative for hardware wallets I found one script called YetCold, that installs bitcoin core and then helps user with steps to create cold storage for holding Bitcoins. They recommend it for storing BTC worth 50k or more with 3 of 7 HD multisig setup with private keys never exposed to device connected on internet. You would need to have: - Two laptops with webcam, Ubuntu OS and Bitcoin Core. - 8 small USB drives. - Printer and paper. Software is still beta but it is working fine and it has several Advantages:
- Private keys are never on any device exposed to internet
- 3 of 7 multisig addresses is used, and this allows losing up to 4 keys without losing bitcoin, and it requires 3 locations to be compromised for losing bitcoins.
- HD Multisig is used so that you can send funds to 1,000 addresses, but recover all funds using only 3 seed phrases
- Using Generic computing hardware.
- Minimal software used mostly for enabling multisig for Bitcoin core software.
- Open source and easily audited.
- Usable for most non-technical users with following steps.
- Private, uses Tor and never transmits your IP address.
- Bitcoin private keys are stored on paper in multiple geographic locations with professionals that do not know they are storing bitcoin private keys.
- Private keys are written down using the NATO phonetic alphabet where every fifth word is a checksum to reduce the possibility that a private key will be unreadable when needed.
- Instructions for recovering the bitcoin are included with every copy of the private keys to reduce the likelihood of loss.Disadvantages: - Time. To complete setup you will need to invest 2 hours spread over the course of a couple days. You also need time to buy and setup clean OS on laptops.
- Privacy. Using multisig is not very common and a 3 of 7 multisig is even less common. Someone could look at the blockchain and find out you are using yeti for cold storage. - More expensive than hardware wallets. My opinion: If you have some old laptops in your house maybe you can give them a new life with this YetiCold storage, but for most users this is to complicated to set up and it needs lot of time invested. Bei einem monatlichen Profit von 19% sollte jedem klar sein, dass es sich um einen Scam handelt.
Es ist einfach nicht möglich 228% Gewinn jährlich mit Mining zu machen.
Wozu sollte die Firma das anbieten wenn sie ihr Geld jährlich fast verdreifachen? Das macht absolut keinen Sinn.
Dann brauchen die keine 100€ von irgendeinem zufälligen Typen in einem Internetforum.
Dazu dann noch das Referral Programm, was das Mining noch effizienter machen müsste um rentabel zu sein.
Es gibt viele wesentlich ausgeklügeltere Betrugsmaschen. Diese hier, ist jedoch absolut offensichtlich.

Stimmt als Empfänger hat man noch mehr Mögichkeiten.
Funktioniert solange man einen unbestätigten Output kontrolliert. Also auch, wenn man an jemand anderen sendet, aber eeine Wechselgeldadresse verwendet (weil nicht alles versandt wird). Kann also unter Umständen auch als Sender funktionieren  |

Ja, klar.. Mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass die meisten Cloud Mining Anbieter sowieso ein Scam sind, ist das hier schon ein extrem dreister Scam. Wer heutzutage noch darauf reinfällt, dem ist wirklich nicht mehr zu helfen.  Finger weg, eindeutig Betrug.

Ich wollte heute meine BTC vom Wasabi Wallet auf das Electrum Wallet transferieren.
Komisch, normalerweise kenne ich das andersherum: Leute wechseln von Electrum auf Wasabi Gibt es dafür einen guten Grund? Fee: 0.00020664 BTC (84.3 sat/byte)
Mit dieser Gebühr gehe ich davon aus, dass die Transaktion bereits bestätigt ist? Nun mache ich mir Sorgen, dass die BTC feststecken. Kann mir jemand sagen woran das liegt und was ich machen kann?
Keine Sorge. BTC können nicht wirklich "feststecken". Abhängig von der Gebühr kann es mal länger oder kürzer dauern. Vielleicht noch erwähnenswert: Die BTC auf dem Wasabi Wallet waren in 3 Teilbeträge unterteilt. Habe alle 3 markiert und zum Electrum Wallet geschickt. Könnte da vielleicht ein Zusammenhang bestehen, warum es nicht funktioniert?

wie bereits erwähnt wurde kannst du wegen " RBF nein" leider nur abwarten. Das stimmt so nicht ganz. OP ist der Empfänger der Coins, das heißt er kann immer CPFP (Child pays for Parent) machen um die Transaktion zu "beschleunigen". Dabei werden die (unbestätigten) Outputs als Inputs für eine neue Transaktion (an sich selber) verwendet, mit einer Gebühr die groß genug ist um für beide Transaktionen zu zahlen. |

It does not contain any hardware based security mechanisms, no secure element, cryptographic co-processor, nothing.
Please stop copy/pasting posts from github etc. claiming it is a DIY hardware wallet, which it clearly is not. You are confusing newbies who might think this is as secure as a hardware wallet.
This is "just" a mini computer held offline.
Instead of blatantly copy/pasting stuff, at least read and think about it.

Falls du den Tor Browser zusammen mit Wasabi verwenden möchtest, musst du bei Wasabi den Port vom Tor Browser einstellen (9150). Ohne den Tor Browser, nutzt Wasabi den Standard Tor Port 9050. Wenn keine Tor-Instanz gefunden wird, startet Wasabi den eingebauten Tor Client. Nutzt du Windows oder Linux? Mit oder oder Tor Browser? |

My friend is a software engineer and quite tech savvy so I dont factor human error.
That's a mistake. Just because he is a software engineer, this does not automatically mean that he actually knows how to use bitcoin. You can't assume that someone is familiar with BTC just because his profession is IT-related. Its been two days and I see no record of the coins. What do I do? He used an older address but I know all addresses generated are linked and new ones are just for privacy.
If old addresses stay valid and the transaction went through successfully (is it confirmed already? Check the transaction id.), then you need to contact the coinbase support. The mempool is relatively clogged right now. Not that extreme that a 1 sat/vB transaction shouldn't be confirmed by now, but you'll never know. Maybe it didn't get broadcasted properly? Definitely check the Transaction ID on a block explorer (or post it here). Did both transactions have the same recipient address? |

There are no "requests" in the bitcoin network. This is a construct created by software built to receive BTC payments. The network and protocol itself is working as it should. If the provided address is correct and the transaction confirmed (which it seems it did since the coins are "gone"), they reached the destination. Which exchange did you use? Which exchange does have a time limit on deposit addresses? NOTE: Any address in "Outputs" that is highlighted in Green or Yellow is yours... anything that has no highlight colour is an "external" address.
And in addition to that, if the address is highlighted blue, it is an address from TrustedCoin (the 2FA service provider for electrum 2FA wallets). |

Recently wanted to look at it, but cannot get it to work with the new software. It won't update the firmware either.
What exactly is not working? The Firmware update or connecting your hardware wallet with the "new software" (are you referring to Ledger Live?) ? In addition to what BitMaxz said, make sure you use a data cable (e.g. the one included with the nano), not a charging cable. Does your computer recognize a new device has been attached? What OS are you using? Please be more specific. |

I have not used my Armoury wallet for a few years, so I'm not even sure where to start: Can you confirm that core is fully synced and online when you start armory? It seems like armory is not able to find the blockchain and some headers are not matching. Do you have core running in pruned mode? How large is your folder G:\data\bitcoin ? |

Aber noch eine ganz grundsätzliche Frage da du mehrfach das Thema Amazon angesprochen hast. Wie möchtest du auf Amazon per BTC bezahlen? Habe ich da irgendwas verpasst?  Die Schreibweise vom OP variierte hier: Kann dann nicht über meine ip oder mein wasabi wallet, von dem es ja ohne umwege zu "amazon" geht, zurück verfolgt werden?
Das nächste ist, wenn ich mit Wasabi über Tor bezahle kann ich da Probleme bekommen wenn bei "amazon" die Tor IP auf einer Blacklist steht.
Ich denke "amazon" steht in diesem Kontext für einen X-Beliebigen Akteur und nicht den Amazon Onlinehandel. Scheint wohl eher eine prophylaktische Frage zu sein für den Fall, dass Amazon anfängt BTC zu akzeptieren Weil, nein. Amazon akzeptiert keine BTC. Obwohl es natürlich über Umwege (z.B. purse.io) möglich ist, etwas von Amazon zu kaufen und mit BTC zu zahlen. |

I can understand that. I wish to see this implemented in a proper application with signature to be checked to avoid surprises. I wish that at some point Electrum would offer the choice between their mnemonic and BIP39 one.
No one forces you to use electrum to generate a paper wallet or cold storage setup. Wasabi is a perfectly fine alternative and is in no regards inferior. With Wasabi, you'll have a BIP39 mnemonic. You use literally and reputable wallet, or even no wallet at all (linux command line tools are mostly sufficient). |

OK also bei electrum private Schlüssel entleeren?

darunter steht dann eine Adresse die ich nicht kenne...muss ich da was eingeben oder einfach lassen?
Benutzte leider nicht die deutsche Version, aber ich gehe davon aus, dass "entleeren" = sweepen. In dem Fall würdest du eine zusätzliche Transaktion erstellen. Das ist definitiv möglich, würde dich aber eine Transaktionsgebühr extra kosten. Was du eig. möchtest, ist den PK zu importieren: File -> New/Restore -> Wallet-namen eingeben -> Weiter -> "Import Bitcoin addresses or private keys". Dann den private key im korrekten Format (abhängig davon, wie die Adresse beginnt) eingeben: Adresse startet mit 1..: p2pkh:XXXX Adresse startet mit 3..: p2wpkh-p2sh:XXXX Adresse startet mit bc1..: p2wpkh:XXXX Und hierbei XXXX durch den Private Key ersetzten. Jetzt habe ich wieder ein anderes Problem Wasabi bekommt keine Tor Verbindung mehr hin... Tor is not running backend is not connected dauert schon ewig... irgendwie funktioniert es nicht mehr... Sollte eig. nicht besonders lange dauern. Schon mal Rechner neu gestartet bzw. verifiziert, dass Internet funktioniert? |
