761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to invest or trade Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2023, 12:49:53 PM
Investing seems to be a good choice for those who are just about to start knowing about crypto. Trading is another level of making money as it needs a wide market understanding and a high level of TA. As we know, a lot of people tried to do this but unfortunately, only a few of them became successful and this is because trading is not for everyone, the same thing as investing.

Either of the two, we choose the field where we think that suits us and we think that we never regret it later.
762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: stay away from this ( scam allert for arbitrage traders) on: October 26, 2023, 12:06:51 PM
If there is a guaranteed way to make an automatic profit, the developer of that method will not need to make it paid or available to everyone. You have got a gold mine and can borrow any amount and make thousands of dollars in profits.
Arbitrage is possible if there is a fast trading bot. You can obtain an API for central platforms after completing verification of your identity and knowing how to do it correctly, but even this arbitrage is not profitable, especially with bots that have begun to correct the price quickly and not as it was in the past.
That is the fact that we don't have to believe those people who would tell and convince us their trading strategies work so well and guarantee profit. And much more of using trading bots because nothing has made a perfect fit for the market volatility. We must have to know trading is not for everyone, some become successful while some traders also fail.

Telegram is the worst place to get investment advice.
I agree with this, yes a lot of people get scammed for trusting someone who is proclaimed as an expert and use this platform to covince people but the truth is that they know nothing in real life.
763  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: October 26, 2023, 06:07:14 AM
Not that I'm a charting expert or a good technical or fundamental analyst let alone a bear, but I'm really surprised at the spike that's happened, and which is probably continuously happening as of this writing. So far, the price has already hit above $34,000. That's already more than 12% in growth in just 24 hours.

Has anybody somehow expected this kind of thing? Has anybody had at least a tiny clue that something like this would happen? I know Uptobers have been good months, but every huge increase especially a sudden one must have a big reason. I'm not seeing one that could push such growth so fast. I was really caught by surprise. Will a Bitcoin spot ETF be certainly approved soon that insiders have already relayed to their bosses the good news and the accumulation has secretly grown stronger?
Surprising really as we never think it comes early. The current pump teaches us to not just think about the negative and decline every day or assume that the next day will be the same as today. Well, for now, the only clue we have is the ETF and the upcoming halving but all of this supposedly has no huge impact on the market individually. We can bring us to the point also due to whales participation but whatever is the reason of the current pump --is pretty much appreciated for at least those newcomers have an idea where Bitcoin is going. And this should be put into our mind that the market is quite unpredictable.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What advice for businesses exploring crypto payment gateways? on: October 25, 2023, 09:54:59 PM
Calling all businesses! We're curious to hear your thoughts and experiences on adopting crypto payment gateways in your operations. What advice would you give to fellow entrepreneurs considering this move? Share your insights and let's discuss the pros and cons of crypto payments for businesses. Your expertise can help others make informed decisions in this ever-evolving financial landscape. Join the conversation and be part of this valuable discussion!
I believe you need to talk personally those someone who really has the experience of accepting crypto in your place OP because it has a different experience and rules. Because base on my experience in our country, it was seldom that happened as they prefer to use our local currency over crypto. I'm not sure how educated are the people in your country, unlike us where still many are ignorant about crypto.
For now, I haven't yet seen any advantages from doing this as a payment gateway but maybe can be good in your country mate. I suggest you to ask your countrymen and those people around you if they already know about crypto already.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 25, 2023, 09:35:07 PM
Gambling is not bad but of course, that must be placed in the right place and at the right time. In fact, we have break time or could be made after office hours. if we really care about ourselves, and our job, and are dedicated to working for the company, we should not try or have to do this.

Gambling at work is not really a good habit and the consequences are...
 - getting fired from the job
 - low performance
 - losses
766  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: October 25, 2023, 01:31:54 PM
Already when we look at the way things are today in the society, we are living in a corrupt environment and the younger generation are yet corrupt until they were introduced to the corrupt environment and society, the big deal now is on how we can balance this up in making the society a good ground for the young minds coming to live without getting involved in all forms of inhumane activities others have.
The change needs to start from the younger generation. We know that everything is corrupt, and what is the remedy. We should develop a system that keeps everything function independently without getting into corruption. To achieve such a thing is really hard for any government. Just on being productive couldn't help the younger generation to be successful or make a change. There needs to be some support system. This isn't got by most of the younger generation and the same force them to land into some day job and continue their life without thinking of any social responsibilities. Even I'm the same kind and I'm sure we should develop broad mind.
Corruption has been rooting already and it was really hard to stop it because this new generation has already been influenced. I'd never say there is no way to stop this corruption and illegalities in the government system but honestly, no one can afford to do that and stop this because money is powerful. Everything can be changed when these leaders and those in the position will see money and there is temptation. That seems natural this time and if you are in business, you need to get close to these corrupt politicians in order to gain attention and become untouchable.

Of course, I support changes and stopping corruption but the question is if there is someone who could take big responsibility and able to control corrupt officials.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: October 25, 2023, 12:22:37 PM
As some others have said, most successful gamblers play using their skills to make a living. For them, it is likely that they will continue to be gamblers because they can only generate income from gambling by using their abilities.
However, such gamblers are very rare because they often play and play very carefully and are supported by their abilities, and maybe other people will judge it as an addiction. And in fact they also consider gambling as their job just like any other job, and they are successful because they can generate income from gambling and not just anyone.

Is a rare occasion that gambler can manage to win over the casino but likewise, with the combination of skills and good management of
both time and money, chances of winning are good.

It's just another way of taking your edge and executing that opportunity to become favorable to you.

I think by chance it can happen if control and good management can be executed perfectly, though just the same, it's a rare kind of
situation and not everyone can have this kind of mindset during the time they are playing against the house.
Perhaps it was rare and it is because the majority had lost control of their emotions all the time.

Successful gamblers though we think that they are addicted to gambling, however, their approach seems to be fair. They know what to do and also they know their limitation as well. They're been in gambling for many years and their experience will be enough to teach them what is the right thing to do despite being addicted to it. As long as it never compromises their finances, that is still okay.
768  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump market potential? on: October 24, 2023, 10:04:44 PM
There are some confusion that might make me a little doubtful about the development of Bitcoin prices and adoption in 2024, which we all know that we will face Halving Bitcoin as well as the ETF agreement which is the most powerful indicator in encouraging Bitcoin prices, so that many people are speculating and accused The nominal is quite fantastic in Bitcoin in the last 2 years of the current cycle.

Then, never listen to them as it only fuses you but rather make your own speculation instead. Because if you are very certain about Bitcoin's potentiality, you don't have a reason to become doubtful about it. But what makes you confused is you listen/read negative and positive speculations which you know that none of them are right. Just remember the fact that nobody was able to tell the real scenario to happen in the market, those are just speculation and you can make it as well. What you need is to keep your faith strong and become certain with your plan.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 24, 2023, 09:42:49 PM
Till now my parents are bearing the cost of my education, I have recently completed my college education and my parents wish me to complete my graduation by studying in a private university. We have a small cow farm and we have some cows in this farm out of which some months ago my father sold one cow and deposited about one and a half thousand dollars (I said the value in dollars for everyone's understanding) in the bank for my education. It will take about four to five months to get admission in the university. I didn't plan to do anything with the money I saved for my education but recently the price of bitcoin has increased by about 10 thousand dollars and seeing this increase I think that I should invest in bitcoin now instead of leaving the money in the bank for these four to five months. Although I think it's a bit late for me to invest. Maybe I should have invested when Bitcoin was 26 thousand dollars then maybe I could have made a good profit at this point but there is no point in regretting what I didn't do Of course I will think about the present now. I think the price of bitcoin can cross 40 thousand dollars so investing in bitcoin now will not be a wrong decision for me at all.
Apparently, a lot of people have the same story as yours, they blame themselves for neglecting to invest in Bitcoin earlier while seeing what happened to its price today. But we have nothing to correct those days, it was done already. What you're gonna do is to think about buying and make a decision whether to buy or not while the price of Bitcoin is still low price. If you think the positivity may happen to Bitcoin, then never waste your time either but rather have to take action now.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market warms up, what altcoins can help me rich? on: October 24, 2023, 01:49:55 PM
I read some Twitter users with big followers that cryptocurrency market is going to be bullish.

Bitcoin halving will come in 2024.

Bitcoin will have a big bull run in 2024.

What altcoins can help me rich in 2024 and 2025?

Any idea?
Just buy Bitcoin and Ethereum and you'll be rich and safe. Never think and search for an altcoin that will propers you more like become an instant rich, you might just fall into scam coins. Don't make the mistake of investing in new projects as they just looked promising but in the end, this will be the reason for your losses. Better consider those projects that already have a huge community and established reputation already. They might not make you rich but at least, you're also safe and certainly won't disappoint you during that time - just hold and wait.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not keeping records makes me a bad gambler? on: October 24, 2023, 11:20:12 AM
Not keeping records doesn't necessarily mean that you are a bad gambler. Sometimes players are too busy to have one and just mentally note their winnings and losses as well as the money they have spend in gambling in totality. Although for sure there are still people who are keeping tracks of their gambling habits which is good for them especially if it works significantly better on their end. But it doesn't mean you should do too. It still depends on you after all.
I'd never done it actually and I don't think it helps us to be good gamblers or turn into bad gamblers as well. The more I saw my gambling records, the more possible I was disappointed. I'd rather not do it for the sake that I don't remember in the past days.
Quote
But a piece of advice, if you don't want or you can't seem to keep records because of extra work it will give to you, just make sure you allocate a specific amount that won't break your budget and your priorities in life. Only allocating your spare and not going overboard your budget will be as good as keeping records because that means you are only spending what you can afford to lose without regretting so much in the end if it doesn't go well.
Good advice mate...it is very important we know how to budget not just our money but also our time because the more we spend time on this, the more we spend money which could possibly be out of our budget.
Well, the question is are we just playing to entertain ourselves or just to make money? Because if we aim for the fist option, then I don't think it is necessary to have a records.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: October 24, 2023, 08:52:49 AM
It is financially low cost, but might be socially high cost, but what really helps are relationships. Whether that is about love or about friendship, but gambling often happens in isolation to people who started neglecting their social ties or who never had some highly valuable social ties in the first place. I know that OP might have been looking for a different type of answer, but the truth is that healthy relationships and also activities can have a curing effect on many things and addictions are part of that. Sometimes people feel lost, bored and lonely and that is why they consider diving into time wasting activities like excessive gambling where gambling is not a pleasure anymore and doesn't really give you anything in return. Good relationships usually do exactly that.
Maybe for pleasure and a broken relationship but whatever the reason, we should also know how to limit ourselves to addiction. It was not hard to do that honestly if it is already in our mind but if we let that happen, nobody could be blamed but just ourselves.

Changing our lifestyle seems to be a big help to avoid addiction and most of all, with someone who is willing to help as well.
Engaging in physical activities like sports is way better and a healthy solution.
773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade only Bitcoin on: October 23, 2023, 09:43:42 PM
Trading is a lifetime skill that is always beneficial if you know what you are doing, the biggest mistake of traders is trading alt that most times doesn't obey market structure,
when it comes to cryptocurrency, trade only Bitcoin.
Bitcoin doesn't just give you profit, it gives you security, it obeys market structure, for the past 2yrs I have been trading, I only have losess only when I trading Alt, price action trading I utilize will trading always gives me result when trading Bitcoin, but when it comes to Alt I really do feel as if am gambling, so my fellow traders, trade only Bitcoin, I don't know if anyone feel the same way?
The reason why it is important to learn more about the asset you are going to trade is so that your money doesn't float away.  Bitcoin is a very volatile asset, but the reputation and liquidity that Bitcoin has are very high compared to altcoins in general, but there are also several altcoins that are quite common. traded by people such as ethereum, bch and bnb, while the assets you should avoid for trading are meme tokens and tokens that are just based on hype (such as DeFi and AI tokens), don't misplace your money in an asset when you trade, your money will be difficult to get back.

The choice of Bitcoin in trading is not really profitable based on my experience compared to altcoins but when it comes to investment, we are certain about it. But, we must also understand that trading is not all about choosing coins, it is also all about the use of strategies and perfect timing. Because even if you choose Bitcoin, you will still have no assurance of a profit especially if you don't have deep knowledge about trading. Many people jump into trading with empty knowledge or just say, knowing only the basics - still, they suffer big losses.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: October 23, 2023, 09:23:44 PM
People often say that people addicted to gambling and alcohol never know how to love and care for anyone in their hearts. No matter how many explanations they have, they only justify their wrong actions. Gambling addiction is in the blood. Do you believe that? Once the blood of gambling appears in any man or woman, it will take root, germinate, and overwhelm reason, conscience, and humanity. Especially for female gamblers, only brainwashing or blood transfusion can change. I say it's so severe that their ability to quit gambling is a challenge, even if their spouse advises them. If a person is truly addicted, it will be tough to stop.
I don't think gambling addiction is in the blood and can be inherent to your kids. Though they are in a state of addiction, still we remember that they are still human beings and have feelings which means that they can still feel love.

In fact, I have a friend of mine where also addicted to gambling but when he became married, all of his addiction was gone just because he loved his wife and family. So I believe that someone can be changed depending on their approach and of course, on how they see their future when having a family already.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why meme coins are trending? on: October 23, 2023, 01:55:32 PM
In my opinion, what makes meme coin a trend is because many people have managed to become rich and get big profits from investing in meme coin, so that's what makes many people interested to investing in meme coin, but of course the risk of investing in meme coin is very big, because we can lose our money from investing in meme coin, but investing in meme coin is the same as you are gambling, you can become rich or poor from investing in meme coin quickly, so my advice if you are not ready with the risk of investing in meme coin (losing your money), then I suggest you not to investing in meme coin.
Because of its hype - while people see many people got into this and make a lot of money, they rush and buy them.
Indeed, a lot of early investors gain huge profits which makes others encouraged as well. Unfortunately, meme coins haven't stayed long, they'll be in hype these days but after a few weeks or months, they started to decline.

Yes, it is just like we put our money into gambling where we rely on luck, not the potentiality of the project. Many have been doing great with meme coins but many are also having terrible experiences.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 22, 2023, 09:44:44 PM
Yes, that's right, I also don't really think about it if I lose some of the bets I bet on in sports games because I'm ready to accept any risk because gambling is less likely to get the luck we expect, it's just that some people prefer sports betting because it's better. can control ourselves there without having to play games at other casinos where we have to stand by in front of a screen which has a high risk. If we can't control our finances we can experience a lot of losses because usually people who gamble accidentally do it continuously without realizing they have spent a lot money there.
That's what we have to do when gambling so that we won't experience any problems and there is no desire to recover losses if we lose. If we can gamble with small money, that is enough, especially if our goal in gambling is just to get pleasure so that even if we lose, our losses will not be too big. But it will be different if we place bets again in the next round many times and cannot control our gambling. Even though it is small money, if we calculate it as a whole, the amount of loss will be large and if we don't realize it, we will lose a lot of money.
Keeping the limits is ideal in gambling but that seems a challenge for everyone which is why many get into debt and compromise their finances because the moment that they lose, the more they gamble and chase their losses.
Just heard someone on the news, that they had kept their lottery tickets and for many many years in doing this they can't imagine that it already reached to million but sadly, they never have been given the chance to win the jackpot price. If we can record all our bets, we can also find that was already huge.
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin for everyone? on: October 22, 2023, 11:44:28 AM
I am asking this because not everyone has made tangible profit for holding. Just like myself I end up selling at a loss most times just to solve a problem. Some might be lucky to buy at a low rate and within few weeks or months the price just pumps to their favour. This kept me wondering if Bitcoin is actually for every one or it is a scheme for selected individuals..
Those who were able to understand the market situation could possibly become successful in Bitcoin investment but if you can analyze the market movement, you will certainly end up losing. I know that not all can understand it, therefore, it is bold enough to say that not all fit into this kind of investment. We can't force ourselves either and if that happen to me, I have no reason also to continue knowing that I can't get it and it was totally bothering me. We have to know when to quit and when to continue - it is all about seeing our capabilities.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of cryptocurrency?? on: October 20, 2023, 08:13:19 PM
In general, the future is uncertain and people tend to reflect their own desires and hopes on it. A pessimistic person who hates decentralization, crypto and Bitcoin will give you a negative perspective about the future, while a crypto enthusiast will predict a promising future for cryptocurrency full of opportunities for investors and adopters.

There will be predictions of every kinds and it's up to you to decide which one to take into consideration.
Uncertain - that's it as we really don't have any idea what gonna happen many years from now. But because of our trust and optimism, the majority had think already that the future was bright. Well, that is what we believe and I'd never see it wrong.

A lot of things may happen someday, the price and market adaptions that will impact the future of cryptocurrency. So while we still have the opportunity, we don't just ignore this but rather take it. We'd rather not think if crypto is sinking or dying, at least we did something today that can help improve our living.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you manage your finances and family if your income is low range? on: October 20, 2023, 07:52:33 PM
This question is too easy to answer with discipline, but it's hard to do in action. Not everyone earns enough money daily, and the cost varies by country. The government adjusts the minimum wage, but it may not be enough. We must reduce our expenses to the point where we can only afford basic daily meals. It's hard since those who manage the minimum wage earner don't have to struggle with that problem. Sometimes, when I get sick, I need to loan to some people to afford medications.
Indeed, there is a big challenge in doing it in actuality rather than just saying it. That is why a lot of people fail to make it as we know that inflation can also affect our budget plus some emergencies. Honestly, it is not impossible if we change our lifestyle and remain low but with the inflation rate these days, it really has a huge impact on our budget. A reason why we should not just be contented with what we have earned today, we should find other sources of income to cope with the growing expenses.
Maybe we are born like that and we are never satisfied with our own income. No matter how much money we earn, we always think of ways to increase our income. We always want something better than the current position. Everyone is living but from low income people to high income people all are living life some in hardship some in happiness. More money is not income but our proper planning will help us to live well with family. If you have a habit of spending extra money, you should change that habit and try to do the necessary things with less money. You should not only plan for the present but also plan for what may happen in the future and save money for the future as per your ability. If we can plan for the future like this, I think we can survive the inflationary period.
Everyone is ambitious and wants to improve their living (even more). People are working hard not just for the sake of survival but in order for them to live comfortably. Maybe I was wrong but it looks like that money is now the solution to every problem and makes us happy. In fact, as we can hear a lot of couples got separated due to financial problems which means that it has now become a more valuable thing than others.
Indeed, proper budgeting is the best thing to do just to fit our income. Even though we already have a huge income, it is still necessary to used it and plan the future.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Real Estate: Is it worth it? on: October 20, 2023, 02:18:26 PM
NFT To me it seems too risky to use it really has no reality. Maybe this investment is good for many but not so much for me. Honestly, I don't want to invest here, if I do, I will invest in poultry farm, it seems very easy to me. I think there is little risk if I put in a little effort or spend some time in poultry farms to see if I can profit from it.
We can't force ourselves to love and invest in crypto if we don't trust them either.
Go what you think is right for you and your desires. Well, I could say that crypto investment is a choice, the same thing with the poultry farm. Though both carry some risk (whether it is too risky or not), still can manage it if we have passion and self-control.

As we are talking about Digital Real Estate - I have to say that it is worth enough now( or even in the future). Why? Because we can just say it was worthy if it has a use case and a market role where we could think that it will grow.
