7741  Other / Meta / Re: Check IP addresses of posters to help identify sock puppets? on: August 30, 2013, 01:53:28 PM
Greyhawk has a very good point. Multiple users post with their phones, company ip's etc. Potentially You would may be stopping people registering if they work in the same office etc.
7742  Other / Meta / Re: Giveaway board on: August 30, 2013, 01:50:10 PM
Don't get me wrong there are a lot of 'Legit' giveaways, but they normally don't involve "5 BTC free" and stuff like that. They re normally small amounts. Would anyone give away $600 worth away for just free? That's why I normally tend to avoid these types of threads.

7743  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where to post raffles? on: August 30, 2013, 01:47:54 PM
I think games and rounds are more suited for a raffle.
7744  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Now The Time To Buy? on: August 30, 2013, 11:35:14 AM
If Bitcoin hits another 'bump' and lowers under $100, I would advise you to buy then. It's a good idea too, there maybe a small risk that you may lose out in the future, but its well worth the risk as Bitcoin normally jumps right back up.
7745  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS]: 5 Klondike K16's - Terrahash Batch 1 on: August 30, 2013, 11:29:34 AM
SOLD, DELETE THREAD!

The thread will not be deleted. It's so people can search up your name and find your content.
7746  Economy / Services / Re: Craft4Coins | Free BTC for playing Minecraft! | Free to play, no entry free! on: August 30, 2013, 11:24:38 AM
Very good. Been playing on it for awhile and it seems very good at the moment. The in-game casino is a popular one among players, however not for myself. The people who play are generally friendly and always welcome new players into the server. I would suggest you try this.

i was definitely not welcomed nicely to the server  Embarrassed guess it depends on who is on at the time.

I guess it's who's on the server at the time. But, I had a few "Welcomes".
7747  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitmit - Bitcoin shopping mall - Bitcoin market place - Bitcoin auction house on: August 30, 2013, 11:06:53 AM
Seems that my account was broken into. I have lost a total of 1,24 BTC. I have contacted the owner to see if there were any Ip's which were different to mine. I'm not very pleased that my password was a newly created password, which was very strong. I suggest from now on, you require a email notification which you have to actually allow for it to send the money to another address.

This is the address which my Bitcoins got sent too:1FrZM3b6izvZq2qZckRkQe2vfMK8gaxG3Z
This might be because of the recent xss attack we were facing. The attacker managed it to deactivate notifications emails before. Bug has already been fixed and we refunded customers . We are very sorry about this.. Please tell us your username and we will care about this.

Thank you. I sent a email and it was resolved in a few hours. Very professional.
7748  Economy / Digital goods / Sellling Microsoft Points (USA ONLY) on: August 29, 2013, 11:32:30 PM
I'm selling Microsoft points which are only valid within the US.

Price:

800 Microsoft points = $9.50

The $9.50 will be converted to the current Bitcoin value.

I will accept escrow through Bitmit or John K.

Also you might want to provide more information, for example where you would be located. Therefore maybe people can trade locally. But, you should include payment options etc.
7750  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Panama Bitcoins Hosted Mining on: August 29, 2013, 11:24:50 PM
When does a customer receive any payments? On a weekly basis or monthly etc? I think weekly would be better as the customer knows that they are getting paid. This would allow people to 'test' the service and review it more quickly also. Which could result in more people being interested.
7751  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Bitcoin Site! (Beta) Request for feedback!!! on: August 29, 2013, 11:22:53 PM
Actually, I believe Block Notify allow you to monitor a Bitcoin address & receive notifications of what exactly is happening with that address. This is with SMS, email, webhook and social networking sites.

Also there are a number of different Bitcoin news websites.
7752  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens to unconfirmed transactions? on: August 29, 2013, 11:14:28 PM
In the future, I would use the search function in the website. It can find valuable posts about your desired topic. This also prevents spam and makes the site look a lot cleaner.

The search feature on this site actually doesn't work very well... Sad

I seem to find anything that I'm looking for. Anything you can search google with the advanced settings and include only this site.
However, I have never had a problem with the site function of this site.
7753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apples4bitcoins, fake or real? on: August 29, 2013, 10:55:42 PM
I have never heard of them before. But, it seems a obvious scam. Sorry to hear about you losing Bitcoin. In future if in doubt ask around the forums before ordering.
7754  Other / Meta / Re: Do you ever click on links in signatures? on: August 29, 2013, 10:50:59 PM
Only if the signature actually interests me. For example, if it's a warning about something which I use or a new service which would benefit me, then I normally do check them out.
7755  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Startup aiming to boost online shopping with Bitcoins on: August 29, 2013, 10:41:17 PM
So basically it's a information site? What would make you better than any other websites offering this?
7756  Economy / Services / Re: i can buy you something on amazon.com for bitcoin on: August 29, 2013, 09:11:18 PM
website propose to buy a gift card code,
here we talking about buying the goods for someone because ihave a credit balance on my amazon account and i can buy with it gift card

but if you know site for that i will be happy to visit them

There are many websites which offer to buy physical items on amazon for Bitcoin. However, they also offer to buy digital goods. They usually cost the same as the product with fees involved.
7757  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Development]SatoshiRat - a bitcoin game on: August 29, 2013, 09:07:51 PM
A few bugs need to be ironed out which have been previously stated, but this is a really good game.
7758  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Announcing BTCPostage.com: USPS domestic shipping with Bitcoin on: August 29, 2013, 09:06:00 PM
Amazing service. Anyone tried this yet and can give a review?
7759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Everywhere i look i see scams Y? on: August 29, 2013, 09:04:44 PM
Scams are everywhere. People tend to associate Bitcoin with scams, but scams are in every day of our lives.
7760  Other / Off-topic / Re: help me explain bitcoin on: August 29, 2013, 08:45:57 PM
The Bitcoin catalog is pretty good. Some people find it easier to understand than just explaining to them person to person.
