Grab your glass and get your seat
and I'll tell you about
Big-Ass Lil and Yukon Pete

Now Lil was the village queen
the fuckinest whore you'd ever seen
While some girls fucked with grace and ease
Lil blew dick like the summer breeze
But when she fucked, she fucked for keeps
she piled her victims up in heaps

There was a rumor 'round that town
that no man could put Lil's ass down
But way up north where twin rivers meet
lived a one-balled half-breed name Yukon Pete

Pete was a dirty motherless soul
who fucked bears, sheep and woodchuck holes
He got a whip for Big-Ass Lil
packed up his rubbers and came down the hill
He strode into town on size 32 feet
dragging sixteen yards of that red-hot meat

Well the scene was set at windy mill
by the brick shithouse high on the hill
All the ladies came for a ringside seat
just to watch that half-breed sink his meat

Well they fucked, and they fucked
and they fucked for hours
uprooting trees, shrubs and flowers
Lil did front flips, back flips, stunts
all unknown to most common cunts
But Pete caught on to every trick
and kept on pumping in more dick

Then Lil gave Pete a whorehouse squeeze
that brought that half-breed to his knees
But Pete came back with a Yukon grunt
that popped out her eyes and split her cunt

Well Lil rolled over, cut two farts and sighed
"Boys, I've been fucked," cut one more and died
When they asked that half-breed of his amazing feat
He just said "Boys, I'm going back to the Yukon
and beat my meat"

I'm going to start BertCoin 1,000, so that I can rip off thousands more like I did with Bitcoin 100 according to Josh.

Theybert is working on the BertExplorer.

Matthew is going to publish BertCoin Magazine.

Tony is developing BertPay.

Sonny is pre-selling miners for MothLabs.

Bruce is behind MyBertCoins. Rumor has it there's an Expo in the works where a major announcement is going to be released.

You want more proof? Mmmkay!

Dogbert and Satoshi have the same amount of letters.

The only two common letters are o and t. Toto is the dog's name in Wizard of Oz.

World's Smartest Garbageman

Dilbert's garbageman is frequently described in the comic as "the world's smartest garbageman". He occasionally solves extremely complex problems for Dilbert and in various strips has developed several futuristic inventions. In the TV show, it is revealed that he is the only garbageman for the whole city and is able to collect for all houses through "shortcuts".

Note, the garbageman doesn't have a name, moving in and out of the Dilbert's life anonymously. The chances are good that he's one of the key developers working with Dogbert.

I wonder which one communicates with Gavin.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Mt Bert in the very near future.

Bert Baccarat anybody?

Here is my proof: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dilbert_characters#Dogbert

Quote
Dilbert's anthropomorphic pet dog (if such a subordinate appellation can be applied to him), is the smartest dog on earth. Dogbert is a megalomaniac intellectual dog, planning to one day conquer the world. He once succeeded, but became bored of the ensuing peace, and quit. Often seen in high-ranking consultant or technical support jobs, he constantly abuses his power and fools the management of Dilbert's company, though considering the intelligence of the company's management in general and Dilbert's boss in particular, this is not very hard to do. Dogbert also enjoys pulling scams on unsuspecting, and usually dull customers to steal their money. However, despite Dogbert's cynical exterior, he has been known to pull his master out of some tight jams. Dogbert's nature as a pet was more emphasized during the earlier years of the strip; as the strip progressed, references to his acting like a dog became less common, although he still wags his tail when he perpetrates his scams. When an older Dilbert arrives while time-traveling from the future, he refers to Dogbert as "majesty", indicating that Dogbert will one day indeed rule the world...again, and make worshiping him retroactive so he could boss around time travelers.
7789  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hosting BFL miners at J Morgan & Associates? on: July 22, 2013, 04:51:04 PM
Sounds like fishy business along with the rest of the LabRat stuff.

Josh even stated in no uncertain terms that if you have reservations about hosting on his Eclipse MC pool, he'll be happy to create another pool for you to do such. It's akin to either hosting the physical units at his data center, or another of which he has a direct relationship with its proprietors.

How happy is BFL with such a setup?

I haven't been folowing everything BFL related, Please enlighten me on the fpgas and asics ETA.
I wish I could purchase BFL FPGAs and have them returned for ASICs, but if I'm to be able to mine on the FPGAs for a few month only and have to pay shipping back and forth it wouldn't be worth it...

It's ~100$ lost for shipping back and forth for a single and 400$ on a mini rig.

Wouldn't it be better if someone at driving distance from BFL could take care of mining with the FPGAs for us while we get our ASICs ready ?
(While paying electricity and maintenance fees.)

Inaba came by the office today and we spoke about just this issue.  Several overseas customers have been asking about this as well and it does make quite a lot of sense.  Inaba runs a data center of course...  and he's a stone's throw away from our office, so I expect he'll have a packaged solution worked up pretty soon.

Hi guys,

I thought I would poke my head in and give an update and response to some of the comments made here in the last few days.

Firstly, I'm sorry everyone's expectations for a demo last weekend were not met.  This is an exciting process for us and it's clear some of you share the same level of enthusiasm...  (although I wonder if some of it might be better channeled).  In any case, sorry to let you down.

We're well past the bringing to life phase of the board.  It does what it was designed to do and at the performance levels intended.  There are some tuning issues that took us longer than expected which we've dialed the board down in order to more easily address.  We didn't want to demo a tuned down system that's not representative of our performance envelope, so we simply pushed the demo forward in order to give the team the time they need.  We're now near the end of that process.

As Inaba mentioned, we'll be bringing a live running unit to his data center tomorrow for a quick look and performance demonstration.  Since we're not at our final figures, he's agreed to simply confirm or deny if the unit is generally within the performance class expected.  I think rather than fuzzy numbers, everyone just wants to know if this unicorn is real.  Fair enough...  we expect to clarify that once and for all tomorrow afternoon.  We'll follow up with a more formal demo once we're finished.

There has also been fevered speculation by a couple forum members about elaborate payment methods etc.  Instead of commenting on them directly, I'd like to simply make notice to any of our customers that if you're uncomfortable with your pre-order purchase, you're welcome to cancel your pre-order slot and get a full refund with no questions asked.

Once again, thank you for your interest in our BitForce product.

Kind regards,
BFL

I've signed up at kcmocolo/J. Morgan for hosting some Single SC's, though they haven't been delivered there, yet.

It looks like they're affiliated with Joe's Data Center (joesdatacenter.com).  I heard about Joe's DC years ago, and they seem to have a good reputation.

As for Josh hosting out of that data center, I think it makes sense he would choose a local data center given the choice.

Whether Josh is involved with this new J. Morgan & Associates hosting service or not, I don't know.  If he is, that would be a plus.

Josh is already hosting at one of the mentioned data center of which he owns. Three of the data center addresses mention on the KCIX site are literally within walking distance from each other. It would take less than ten minutes to walk from any one of them to the other two and BFL's original address, physically touching all four buildings.

The only thing that I haven't figured out YET is how BFL is able to collect the mail addressed to 25 E. 12th St. without a suite number.

Make sure you do your due diligence prior to signing on the dotted line. Make sure you know exactly who you're conducting business with.

I live in Kansas City and run the EMC bitcoin pool. I also work downtown.

I can check this out any day of the week fairly easily.  I'll keep an eye on the thread, but there's no need to fly some out out here or ship a product out when I can just stop by at any time.

Which data center are your servers located at?

Our servers are located in downtown Kansas City, MO in the Bryant Building. The Bryant Building is a state of the art data center, monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The building currently has connectivity to Qwest, Wiltel, MCI, AT&T, Cogent, Alltel, Southwestern Bell, and a number of other Tier 1 and Tier 2 providers.

For those not aware, Community Hosting is a company that Josh of BFL owns. The address for the Bryant Building is 1102 GRAND, KC, virtually across the street from where BFL first used as their office/mailing address.

Another data center located even closer is 1100 S Walnut, KC. I'll explain the significance of that address in a sec, but first here's the map showing its location in relationship to 25 E 12th St., KC, BFL's address still used on BitPay's site.

Note the 1102 Grand address in the image above, better showcased below:

The Zaina restaurant could be seen from the 1100 S Walnut St. address.

It's common knowledge that these addresses are related: http://www.kcix.net/infrastructure.html

As you can see, the relationship between Josh, Aaron and Joe stem over seven years.

Josh has been hosting FPGAs at at least one of the above addresses for over a year. Do you really believe he's going to give up such a lucrative endeavor to J. Morgan and Associates, or is it more likely that Josh, Aaron and Joe make up said endeavor?
7795  Other / Off-topic / Re: Petition to get BF Labs Inc. to sue me. Please sign. on: July 22, 2013, 04:12:51 AM
This guy definitely needs to be sued.  BFL should break out some more of that preorder money to pay some shyster to do it.

Let's hope so! In less than 2 hours, it will only be 2 more days to go. If my dick gets any harder, I'll be able to suck it myself, not that I would... well, not that I would tell anybody if I did, of which I wouldn't, of course.
7796  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Criminal Lawsuit against BFL in Germany [in progress] on: July 22, 2013, 04:03:41 AM
A large manufacturer mining / "burn testing" for 2 weeks does drive up the difficulty, which makes the unit less profitable. There won't be much problems if you did "burn testing" on testnet but of course nobody will do burn testing if it's on testnet.
The picture of their burn testing rack looks like it might handle a hundreds Jalapenos or a couple of dozen Singles. I don't think that's going to change the world.

Not to mention they're just doing burn-ins for 24 hours on each unit anyway.

Let me get this straight! Are you telling me that once those 300 units are made during the day, they're put on racks to be burned in for 24 hours prior to being boxed up, then shipped out?

What the fuck am I missing here?

I can't image the space this would take up that BFL doesn't have, let alone the amount of energy it'll take to simply fire up them miners. BTW, how many can be attached to a single computer at one time? Surely, we're not talkin' 'bout 300 PCs are we?

Who is David?
He's the guy who caved Goliath's skull in with a heavy rock hurled with uncanny accuracy from his sling. Although primitive by today's standards, in skilled hands the sling was one of deadliest ranged weapons available at the time, as Goliath discovered the hard way. The moral of the story is, when you're a little guy, carry a big gun.

According to your theory, some little twerp became King by busting open some giant's skull with a rock and some string.

I like my theory better. Besides, I offered up an image of King David, whereas you simply provided a fable.

I just thought of something else. Can't you just download the hard drive unto a computer. Once within, simply open the file(s). In my mind it seems like a simple process--hard drive to hard drive transfer.

Just found this: http://www.runtime.org/shadow-copy.htm

Hope the above helps you out, bud.

I hear cameras camcorders and copy machines have a time stamp built in to the hardware software and photos. I need some help figuring out how to recover this information for a court case.

Thank you.

Found the vid I mistakenly thought was an NPR segment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC38D5am7go

I just re-viewed it, and am now going to see if I can find the software mentioned within. Don't expect any help from me regarding same for cameras and camcorders.

It's probably safe to assume that there are those making a fortune via extracting data from all them obsolete copiers.
