Can this mono hold 7 gpus?
only 6 slots

also OP, do you accept escrow or have proof of ownership? I'd be interested in one.

The problem is that you're running 470's...

You can't get more than 4 470's working in a single mobo without a little magic...you've got to use nvidia cards or 480's for the other gpu's.

Generally best to do 3-4 470's per build.

you can do it with the 470's there is no difference in the driver and it is the same process if it is 470, 480 or nvidia.

In theory, yes...In practice not so much.
783  Other / Off-topic / Re: Intel CPU i3 processor or AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics on: April 17, 2017, 01:27:02 PM
You aren't going to get anything worth upgrading for $100

And chances nothing that will play anything on low specs either.

Your best bet would be to start building yourself a desktop...as they can be upgraded as needed.

The reason for this is that you're not going to be replacing the video card or CPU in a laptop...and even if you managed to get a decent I3 for $100 it's going to have other limitations.

Also, if you aren't experienced with laptop modifications...then you shouldn't do it at all...too many special little pieces and plastic parts to mess up or lose.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: April 17, 2017, 12:53:01 PM
The whole concept of cryptocurrencies is to make the best way possible to secure the transfer and ownership of money. Of course, there are several levels of security, when you are talking about in the way you access your BTC. (Hot/Cold) wallets, paper wallets, hardware wallets, exchanges, all have good/bad features. Use them wisely.
There is no system that is perfect, therefore hacking could be possible and they are preventing this hacks by improving their
security from time to time. Most of the target of hacks are exchanges but people are more wiser now due to experience, they
do not put their money in one wallet, they diversify it.

I don't even bother hodling anymore...just spend it immediately. Minimal risk that way.

What about this one?

CPU 2.26-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400
RAM 4GB
Hard Drive 160GB
Display Size 14.1
Optical Drive DVD+/-RW DL
Graphics Card Intel GMA 4500M HD
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g

It has GPU and a 4gb of RAM

Will it run CS GO or GTA SA in medium settings?

Maybe on low settings, but you'd be pushing it. You want the intel HD 5xxx series graphics if you're going with intel graphics. Anything older wouldn't do you very well.

Also, the core2duo just doesn't cut it for games...you need a quad core for anything released/updated in the past couple years.

What is your budget? Maybe I can find you something.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anyone use asrock btc without dummy plug (or it's equivalent) on: April 17, 2017, 11:53:14 AM
This is the marketplace...

Are you selling or buying something?

Just curious...
787  Other / Off-topic / Re: Intel CPU i3 processor or AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics on: April 17, 2017, 11:05:32 AM
Um, you're going to want a quad core...an I3 would suffice.

Ideally something with at least a 3ghz cpu.

Probably going to have to spend at least $500-600 to get something that will play games decently.
788  Other / Off-topic / Re: Intel CPU i3 processor or AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics on: April 17, 2017, 10:59:52 AM
True, you can upgrade the ram...and slap an SSD in there as well.

Sometimes taking apart a laptop is a mistake though.

Weigh your options!
789  Other / Off-topic / Re: Intel CPU i3 processor or AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics on: April 17, 2017, 10:06:36 AM
Which one is more capable of gaming performance? Its not really a expensive laptop, its just a budget used one.

Option 1- HP
Intel Core i3 CPU M350 @ 2.27 GHz
3GB RAM
64 bit OS

Option 2- Toshiba
AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics 1.65 GHz
4Gb RAM
64 bit OS

Id like to know which one is more capable of running GTA 4 or GTA 5 wth atleast average FPS at medium settings which means it can run league or cs go without problems.

Thanks
If you really can't buy a gaming laptop, I would say get the first option. AMD tends to have really shitty integrated graphics while on the intel side, it is pretty decent. I have a laptop with intel graphics 5000 and I run games like CSGO and Overwatch at decent frame rates. Albeit on low graphics, but it still looks fine.

It's not that AMD integrated graphics are specifically shitty performance wise...it's that the APU overheats due to inefficient engineering/design. If they could improve the heat dissipation then they should outperform intel's HD graphics.

Intel integrated graphics actually became moderately viable for gaming somewhere around the 5xxx series.

...the I3 would be your best bet for gaming out of the options available but 3gb of RAM is terrible, I suggest a minimum of 8gb. Perhaps you should look for different options.

i have 5 RIG of Asrock H81 Pro BTC 2.0 and all GPUs on these Mobos are Sapphire Nitro rx 470 4 GB (6 x GPU per RIG)

Those mobo's have the magic built in...I have the same problem with my Gigabyte mobo that should support 6...but only does 5.

Clearly you're a prion of the crypto society.

Clearly you suffer the disease of the incapable.

Of course I do...It's typically one of those part and parcel situations with being an elite.

How's your day going for you so far?
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC: moon or doom? on: April 17, 2017, 06:49:50 AM
How do you like my perfect timing on LTC yet again! That is twice that I said emphatically "buy now" right before the blast off in the price.

That shows you how much BTC on this forum is influenced by me. I have a wide following in our community, when measured by wealth.

LTC will pullback a bit here, but it is going much higher. Feel safe to enter at any price. And make sure you buy LTC before April 19 when BTC will begin its decline by -30% due to the Scalepocalyspe (and possibly some other event involved ing BitFUnix or such).

Clearly you're a prion of the crypto society.

I'll agree with you on one thing though...all this attention to crypto recently and the growing hashrate of litecoin should bust it's cap wide open.

hey buck, do you have very many of them?

I could take 3-5
795  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Corsair RM1000 PSU on: April 16, 2017, 02:20:23 PM
Bump still no offers on this MINT PSU. Anyone?

Most folks prefer the platinum server PSU's for some reason..
I might have room for it in my life though...How many pcie  plugs...12?

Do you accept escrow?
796  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards:SF100, the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner is accepting pre-order now on: April 16, 2017, 01:57:43 PM
There should be a way, but nobody is reporting back...

So we won't know without obtaining one for ourselves.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC: moon or doom? on: April 16, 2017, 12:00:01 PM
Apparently LTC will likely be a hedge against the coming BTC decline. Go long LTC (Litecoin) now.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1663070.msg18610203#msg18610203

is it just me or this guy's speculations have much more swings sideways than price itself!
i mean sometimes they are good, to be fair. but most of the time it is just too many swings every hour, making it hard to even follow Tongue

You are not alone, it looks like bipolar disorder drives him. But LTC, long term, I agree, will give you x2 imho.

x2 is small, with litecoin asics being developed right now by bitmain...the price will soar.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PinIdea.io x11 asics on: April 15, 2017, 01:39:19 PM
SCAM!

I made order with this guys 20/03 for 5xDU-1 for 0.36BTC. Received confirmation, but never received anything afterwards. Order is still there as processing, but there is no contact info or any way how to get to them. VERY LIKELY they did runner. I suggest everyone to avoid them.

So you're the one that bought them out during my pinidea group buy...well done captain.

maybe employ your deductive reasoning skills before panicking and you'd have figured out how to contact them.
