781  Other / Off-topic / Re: Quality War ( Europe vs China and India ) on: July 31, 2020, 06:38:52 AM
China products are cheaper but quality? No, most of their product made like disposable once damage then you need to buy again. Besides, because it is cheaper the material being used compromised. China has the worst product here in our place but the most in demand because other products are expensive compared to them. Indian products i bet not too strong like japan and us products especially when it comes to equipment.

The product quality do not matter to them as long as they are making profits and manufacturer a lot of product. Chinese people are not aware about the quality of products that they have, they are only aware about the possibility of the consumer to buy their products again and again.

Maybe, that includes in their marketing strategy, that's the reason why although it is cheaper, I guarantee you that the product will not lasts longer. While, Indian products are almost the same with Chinese products, but India is focused on perishable goods that they are selling in the market.
782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: African bitcoin ATMs on: July 31, 2020, 05:58:08 AM
Glad to see that most of developing countries realized the value of bitcoin and allow to use Bitcoin ATM. On the other hand, feeling sad that my country still arresting crypto users. Bitcoin ATM could keep a major role in Bitcoin adoption. Its because we can buy sell bitcoin more easily. Otherwise, we must look for peer to peer or some exchange to buy sell bitcoin. To be honest I hadn't imagined that so many countries from Africa allowing Bitcoin ATM machine, just now noticed from OP. Good list by the way.

Hoping to see more Bitcoin ATMs not only in African regions. There are still more countries who are a developing countries but still they do not engage in the use of cryptocurrency in their places. Nepal is an underdeveloped country that's why they ban the use of cryptocurrency, which is a shame for their government for being a closed-minded authorities. We should not let other people in other countries to struggle in withdrawing their bitcoin, they should spread those bitcoin ATMs in many places so that people will not have a hard time to travel in far and distant places just to access bitcoin atms.
783  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is the biggest problem with cryptos on: July 30, 2020, 11:16:38 AM
Biggest problem?

That's not the biggest problem that everyone can think of. The biggest problem to me is the banning of bitcoin by each country. If a crypto friendly starts to ban bitcoin, do you think that's not the biggest problem?

To me, that is.

This is what I want to see in this thread. That third party thing is not that serious enough, it is a problem but not as worse like this.

Government who are against on cryptocurrency must be lessen because it really interrupt those transactions towards cryptos.
If banning of cryptocurrency is not your priority and focus on what you are arguing with, then that third party will become useless. It is much better to use third party than not being allowed to operate cryptocurrency transactions.

Which will you choose?

A society that bans cryptocurrency or using a third party that collects extra fees in your transactions. We are lucky that cryptocurrency is legal in our country and we don't even complain about it that much.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Bitcoin on: July 30, 2020, 10:24:24 AM

TBH, $500k will might take time before we will reach that range of price. That was too much prediction for this year.
Yeah, and I'd find it very optimistic to anyone could think about it. I'd rather have to cry asking for help on how I can buy a few sats because it is really expensive. I can't afford it, though. If we can reach back to $20k again, I really happy with that and I am contented enough. Maybe there is no wrong if we ask for more but the situation is really out from reality that it takes.

Anyway, we live in this kind of speculative market and I know that everyone is never hoping for deep lows but a satisfying price. That is no wonder why people are looking for a higher price than it lives at $10k, $20k, $50k, it gonna be more.

Being optimistic is never a problem but we should know also how to accept disappointments or dissatisfaction. We can't really predict the exact fate of bitcoin's price but as long as it is increasing don't hesitate to take advantage of it if you think that its price is enough for you to sell. You have full control of your asset and you should be accountable with the fate of your money.

Once you know how to read and observe the market, that will help you to have a good decision making.

That's what I learned on what happened before, it taught me a lot of lesson when the bitcoin's price increases in Dec 2017.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin adoption really is. on: July 30, 2020, 05:33:52 AM
I agree. We need more people to believe in Bitcoin and learn all the advantages that it can offer them. Precisely in this time of pandemic when money becomes vital for everyday use and banks are limited to offering the service and we have to resort to electronic money.

Telling someone about the use of bitcoin is not that easy because they will not believe you unless you show them that you are successful enough when you promote it. They will become more interested about the benefits and good effect of bitcoin once you show them real money from hardwork and good control on bitcoin. By that, i can say that adoption is a process where you should let them know how bitcoin can change someone's life. Also, us ing digital money in a pandemic is not really a hassle.
786  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash Is Trash on: July 29, 2020, 04:30:27 PM
We can't live without cash, so we can't call it a trash.
People calling cash as trash does not live in the normal world, no matter what technology will become popular, it will never be as useful and as popular as cash, so no.. cash is no trash. In terms of its of the stock market, can you should some proof or reference that the us stock market are now bullish?

I agree with this, we used cash for so many years and yet you're just calling it trash?

It is a shame when they call cash a trash when they also use it in their personal budget before. You should not look forward to hate cash because digital currency will not exist without the use of traditional cash. Let's accept the fact the we can't live without the use of fiat, digital currency will become popular but it will never replace the benefits and people who are used to pay with cash. Why can't we trust both and don't destroy the reputation of cash.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to win at casino on: July 29, 2020, 03:41:41 PM
hi guys how does one win when playing in casino? is there a strategy that u use in order to win, or do u just randomly make decisions when you play. also how do u determine when to cash out or deposit more money

Based on my experience, no matter what strategy you use in gambling, if you're not lucky, you will never win.

Especially in those luck-based games, it doesn't require any skill and it is pure luck and self-control. Good decision making only is applicable between if you will play more or stop, either after you win or lose. You need to deal with risk if you are stubborn to stop yourself from gambling, the probability of winning in some gambling games are 50% chance or lower due to the number of choices and bets. If you don't consider luck and you continue playing then goodluck to your money.
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are back with another trick. Be alert!!! on: July 29, 2020, 05:33:28 AM
I find this scammers really admirable because they are trying the most obvious scams that have been long busted and they can still garner a profit, this persistence is admirable and disgusting at the same time, to all the victims of this scam or any other kind of scam, I hope you learned your lesson because the second and third is pretty pathetic for you.

They aren't admirable, they are so disgusting, no one should admire their wrong doings towards cryptocurrency. Maybe these fake giveaway scheme is very effective for them as newbies in this platform are ignorant about the scams that was already existing.

In beginners & help, they can read a lot of information there where different ways of scammers are being reported.

Also in Scam Accusations, there are a lot of thread where they can look for those happening a and become aware what scam is.

Making mistakes should be done once and the same mistakes are unacceptable and you should shame yourself if you're getting scammed repeatedly. Learn from it and observed how they work so that you will not be fooled the next time you see their fake giveaways or attractive title that uses "EARN", "FREE GIVEAWAYS" and etc.
789  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stay away from this kind of giveaway!! Scam alert!! on: July 28, 2020, 10:56:10 AM
I am getting curious how this is happening. Twitter one was totally their mistake as the hackers were able to somehow get the access but I don't get the Youtube part. There are lot of big YouTube streamers whose accounts were hacked and donation stream was hosted afterwards. I haven't read anything regarding how it is happening in YouTube.

Now we know that these social media sites are not safe and they can be hacked I thought these social medias has a security features like IP and 2 factor authentication or phone verification, but what happen to the security how did this things happen,
It's also better to create a similar thread on the scam section so more people will become aware.

It doesn't mean that if people are using a popular social media app, that application is safe and secured. Most of the scamming scenarios happened when people are using too much social media and they don't even think twice or observe the link that they are going to access. That's the first step why scamming happens.

Even those huge social media platforms can be accessed by hackers and scammers. If you are aware about these happenings then probably it can lesson your account on being one of their victims and don't hesitate to warn your friends and family and other people towards this scams. Be alert and be mindful in social media.
790  Economy / Economics / Re: This is a total nightmare on: July 28, 2020, 09:37:19 AM
Wrong move Tongue. Don't move but do it both. If you need manpower to do it then do it just don't give up your IT business because what is happening right now is just temporarily. Even the recent pump right now of the assets are just temporarily Smiley.
It depends on his capability to engage in both industry. If he can't do both then he just need to choose only 1 between these two, and he chose to engage in agriculture so its up to him. We just need to respect other people's decision and encourage them to continue what they're doing to become successful in a path he pursue. We can't conclude right now, because maybe he find agriculture the best for him and he prioritize it, and IT can be his sideline.

The demand for IT goes high as years go by but still it depend on what business you are right now in IT industry.

It is true, because as our technology is continuously developing, programming will never be outdated because they are required in every businesses and also in high demand.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Late Show with Stephen Colbert calls bitcoin a scam on: July 28, 2020, 08:25:57 AM
This statement really bring a huge impact towards bitcoin's reputation to those ignorant people.

Once they don't try to hold bitcoin, then they will just still see bitcoin as a scam.

As long as they are not making transactions where they can earn money with their own manipulation, they will not know the true essence and value of bitcoin in our society. That's also the reason why governments are scared to engage with the use of cryptocurrency in their country, because they are afraid that scamming can really affect their community. If we don't make some changes towards this mindset then bitcoin will really have a bad image in their point of views.
792  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe’s economy is moving faster than US economy - Covid-19 effect!!! on: July 27, 2020, 07:45:43 PM
As I heard, these two countries are helping to each other. Just like they had a commitment to fundamental democratic principles, they should also be shared about the improvement of their GDP. I don't see that Europe will replace or even overtaking the US economy despite their difficulties of facing the problem due to the pandemic.

We all know that based on most of the reports, US is really having a hard time handling the Covid-19 virus in their country as the people is really stubborn to follow the protocols. That's the reason why they can't open businesses temporarily to recover their economy because it might increase the number of cases in their country and the Covid-19 get worse. Still, US have a well-developed economy than Europe due to its popular businesses although they are having a hard time surviving their economy.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some gamblers have been arrestes in Bangladesh for money laundering through bitc on: July 27, 2020, 03:51:18 PM
You are probably safe from possible arrest. The worst that could happen to you is that your personal information will be taken by the authorities. The way I look at it, there is no reason why you should be punished along with the real criminals. I don't even think the money used by the criminals to buy BTC will get confiscated. They should focus on trying to confiscate the BTC instead.

We all know that bitcoin transactions can be tracked by the authorities because they are only stored in the bitcoin network.

So as you are not doing bad things and you're just making transactions then there's nothing to worry. You are not a criminal compared to those real criminal who are buying BTC illegally.

You are just selling BTC to anyone interested. You are not an investigator on the people you sold BTC to. Just like a money exchanger accepting clients without necessarily investigating whether they are going to use it for crimes or not. How would you know?
I forgot to mention that BTC itself is illegal in our country which is the major reason of my fear. I sometimes sold BTC to unknown guy and that's what I'm fearing of. If it was legal, I would have nothing to fear at all.

If that so, then that's a very risky move for you. You should be careful of selling BTC because authorities can use "someone" to find those people who are making bitcoin transactions. That's the reason why KYC is really important for most of us, especially for those people who are living in a country where cryptocurrency is illegal.
794  Economy / Economics / Re: Brace yourselfs , the economic earthquake is coming ... on: July 26, 2020, 04:40:08 PM
I wish people will realize that crypto is always here to save them.

It's just good to see that a crypto once criticize but we smash them in the face as in times of crisis, crypto is stable and we stand out.

Long live crypto but I'm hoping the economy will recover.

How can we achieve that thing? People are not even knowledgeable about bitcoin and the market. Especially in this time of crisis that they need something where they can secure their money and earn profits. Cryptocurrency is stable right now, but we should not settle with that because they are volatile and changes can occur. Some countries do not still engage with the use of crypto even if it has a potential to lessen the suffering of most of the economy. But what can we do if they don't see the importance and benefits of bitcoin, as long as we are believing on crypto, we should also don't stop on spreading positivity towards cryptocurrency and economy.
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal mass adoption on: July 26, 2020, 04:03:41 PM
Wot. This dude managed to get some kiosks in freakin malls without a business license? I'm not even mad, that's impressive.. impressive how the malls have been so careless to the point that they conducted business with some dude without a license.

I really don't know what this dude was thinking though. Did he really expect to not get caught? I would understand if he did everything online, but we're talking about physical bitcoin ATMs. Literally thousands of people pass by those ATMs by the daily LOL.

It is because not all people is knowledgeable about bitcoin and those bitcoin ATMs. They don't mind if that ATM is legal and have a license. It is only an adoption for himself and for the bitcoin itself. If we continue doing this kind of mistakes, then the government will really and continuously not trust bitcoin.

I think that he is aware about his own mistake that you will place a bitcoin ATMs publicly and he got caught because that's obvious. I know that he is aware about the rules and regulations before he place kiosks in that public mall but he just managed to deal with it even without a licensed and that's a very bad move for him.
796  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mindful of scammers and hackers on: July 25, 2020, 05:18:46 PM
1. How can we fully avoid scam in such a way not only us we not be affected but people around us too?
To avoid scam: We definitely should read a lot of rumors here in this forum regarding those scams that was reported. We should not fall for other people's bait just to scam people and get our money instantly. It is really hard to trust people nowadays and even those most used platforms are being used a tool to scam more people. Our safety should've start with ourselves.

To other people: We should make a review about our experience towards those scams if we are victimized by it so that other people who will read it will have a prior knowledge towards scams. Also sharing some knowledge in this forum will help so that we will become more careful about who and what platform are being used by those scammers. just like Twitter.

2. What can we do to let people in the whole world know about scam and avoid?
We should always promote safety of our accounts and verifying people so that we will know if someone is legit and real.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: July 25, 2020, 04:38:52 PM
As a small-time roller, I don't verify my every single bet. That seems an unnecessary hassle or a waste of time for me who's just having pure fun rolling the dice for example. But I admit that it is every gambler's responsibility to make sure he is not just gambling but also makes sure that fairness is installed. A random verification would be enough.

Another reason why I don't verify every bet is that I am using sites which have already made a name in this forum. I don't think you can get away from a red tag and criticism in this forum if you are promoting an unfair gambling site.

That's why we are responsible on choosing the best gambling sites where we feel fairness and legitimacy when we access it.

It is your fault when you are victimized by those fraud gambling sites that is so unfair to its customer, and once you lose a huge amount of money, then you can't blame them.

That's the reason why prevention is much better, you should seek information and look for a reputable gambling casino first and don't waste your time to engage in gambling without even looking for a trusted casino. It should've start with us, it should've start on awareness towards choosing a fair gambling site. Don't forget to make a bad reviews once you experienced unfair gambling site so that other people will become aware with that also.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin replace Gold someday? on: July 25, 2020, 03:55:23 PM
Never. Bitcoin cannot replace Gold. We have to admit it. It may compete with Gold as a store of value and perhaps even become the preferred option for a short time but it will never replace Gold. Gold will always be gold. The preciousness of Gold is as old as civilization itself. And Bitcoin is not the one to make it worthless.

It is a good thing for us to have an option to choose between the two or invest on them together. They have different benefits as an asset, although they are both good as a store of value but the only difference is that, Bitcoin is volatile and it can change its price immediately depending on the market. Bitcoin should be manipulated in a short period of time, while Gold is only for a long term holding.

Bitcoin can become the new digital Gold which serves as a safe-haven asset (store of value) in times of need. COVID-19 will greatly encourage people to adopt Bitcoin over Gold as their next store of value of choice.
I must say BTC is more convenient and literally you can spend it on but only few accept this digital currency compared to gold right. Maybe give or take a few more years, but the idea isnt possible to happen as everything evolves as we go forward.

For me, Gold is the best as a safe haven asset because bitcoin can bring you losses that will make you regret that. I don't think this Covid-19 will help them engage to the use of cryptocurrency as long as we promote it so that they know its advantages during this pandemic.
799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does using trading Bots is more profitable than conventional trading? on: July 24, 2020, 04:55:35 PM
Using trading bots is profitable also but not that profitable compared to manual trading.

Let's be honest here, some of the people in this forum also uses trading bots when they are busy or they have an important thing to do.

By that, they can still earn small profits depending on the market. But if you are confident about your trading skills and you want to improve more and become effective, always use conventional trading because it will make you do what you want to do in trading. Your strategies, plans, skills, and timing is all you when you do technical analysis in the market properly. In manual trading, profits are really huge compared to using trading bots because you have your goal and desired amount of profits that you want to earn.
800  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans in a Bitcoin world on: July 24, 2020, 04:24:19 PM
If Bitcoin had effectively replaced fiat, that should solve the issue of volatility as it doesn't have to be liquidated into other currencies (which would hypothetically no longer be in use).
I'm not an expert in the field, so I can't also explain the intricacies of how a Bitcoin powered economy would function, but it would definitely be different from what we have now.

If everyone would use Bitcoin instead of fiat and its value would change as fast as right now nothing would be changed. 1 Bitcoin today is 5000 loaves of bread and tomorrow, because Chinese president make a statement , will be $6000 loaves of bread. That is a problem, but I believe it is a problem only now since Bitcoin is not used enough. Once adoption will be wide volatility will go away and Bitcoin will be way more stable as right now.

Bitcoin is really unfair when it comes to sudden changes in its price due to its volatility and most of the bitcoin holders are aware about that. That's why you should not loan in bitcoin but loan in USD, because loaning in bitcoin can bring advantage or disadvantage for you. When you make a loan of 1 bitcoin for example, and the price of bitcoin increases in USD, then that's a bad thing for you. But if a price of bitcoin decreases, then that's a good thing for you. But once the price of bitcoin decreases, you are advantageous of the opportunity to pay BTC that you've loaned in a smaller amount in USD.
