781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: November 12, 2022, 09:39:14 PM
I think that this is quite an adequate desire - to want to get something at a lower price, in order to sell it later at a higher price. The main thing is to understand the very moment when the price is at its peak.
^But people are always confused about where to start or where the jumping point is because even though we have seen a correction it will probably not good to invest. But purchasing using the DCA method will I think the best decision to invest in BTC or trusted crypto that can potentially make a profit. Because waiting for the right moment is a little bit confusing, you will never know what exactly happens to the BTC price.
The best thing is, to lock your target in a high of making a profit and hold it for a long period of time or just wait until a new ATH will come, that is a good goal while investing in BTC.
782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are alternative no kyc exchanges since FTX is gone... on: November 12, 2022, 09:33:22 PM
^On this big list of exchanges that usually did not ask for KYC procedures will probably you find one.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5270416.0.
For me, probably DEXs are still a good alternative to them because we know that our fund is safe if we are afraid of a centralized exchange. But it seems right, never leave your fund in exchange for storing it and probably it would be better if every session of your trading activities just withdraw your fund even though the fee will hurting you as long as your whole fund are safe.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Purchases of Bitcoin on: November 12, 2022, 09:25:23 PM
I was very happy to buy Bitcoin today . Since I am new in the crypto ecosystem I used $5.41 to purchase Bitcoin which  is equivalent to 0.00032258 BTC and I am planning  to buy more. And I am investing for a long term investment. Happy  first purchase.
It is not easy for someone  to buy bitcoin  because  of the  bear  market at this time but I picked  courage  and bought it.
^You are in the right decision and welcome to the community and as a part of an investor.
You can purchase BTC in a DCA way like this, a small amount every time BTC will drop the price and until such time you will never know you have held a lot of BTC in your wallet. Just set a target of profit in a long term and hold your BTC in a long term, it is very worth it to wait rather than thinking of a quick getting rich on investing BTC. Well congratulation to you buddy and hope that your plan to invest more will succeed.
784  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: November 12, 2022, 09:20:18 PM
More tempting promotions if you ask me. They are easily one of the best ways to retain old gamblers and attract new gamblers which is why I suggested this idea. Cliche strategy, but reliable nonetheless.

Personally, I tend to focus on casinos which offer the best promotions(FIAT and Crypto) for the best bang for my buck.
^ Definitely right and one example gambling casino that doing it until now is Roobet even though they are already established casinos but they keep making ads, contests, and promotions that make gamblers will stay on their website. This is a very important strategy for marketing, keep active in doing such promotions to lure more gamblers, because based on my opinion, a gambler will stay just because of the promotions besides the satisfaction of the game. So it is the best p[arty of a gambling casino that continues having ads elsewhere.
785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copying Bet From Other Unknown Bettors, Is This a Good Practice? on: November 12, 2022, 09:14:57 PM
It is not a good practice in my opinion.
~snip~
^I agree with this opinion which I think is not right.
That is not a good practice to copy bets someone else to random people because you have seen it on the internet because it could be misleading people who followed you on social media. It could this will happen, you will win once but there could be more losses, or it could be, it is betting against your bet. Instead of doing this which is I think the best solution is having your own research and study on betting, because it becomes convenient way when you know you are betting your own predictions either win or lose nothing to blame is yourself.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 12, 2022, 09:02:49 PM
So what would you would advise as a gambler? is it better to collect the cash out or wait for the full cash
it is objectively better to cash out rather than risk losing all the profit but I'd still advise them to do what they want. gamblers have different goals, some want profit no matter how small it is and some want higher profits no matter how risky it is. I for one would be more on the cautious side and go for a cashout and not risk losing it all.
This will depend on your target profit for that day, personally if I already have that kind of profit I will cash out and stop playing, that’s already a big profit for me and doing that everyday can make a big difference. I agree that we all have different goals, and some gamblers might be more greedy to take more risk knowing that he is lucky by that time, but eventually if you continue doing that there’s also a higher chance of losing that money, and you will just waste that opportunity to go home with a profit.
^ It depends on your target profit and that is right.
But sometimes when I know that I have profit I usually cash it out because in my opinion the more you spend time gambling the more chances of losses become wide. Learn how to be contented with a small winning which is always on my head while gambling but sometimes we always hoping a big amount of winning that becomes worst when seeing our pockets are almost empty. Locking your target profit is I think a very accurate method of handling your money.
787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many people don't understood one thing crypto bounty hunters on: November 11, 2022, 10:13:26 PM
Your post is filled with misunderstanding. You don't want people to understand what message you want to pass out. Anyway, bounty hunters are always been used. It didn't start recently, it has been longer time that bounty hunters have been cheated upon and right now people are not supporting projects like in 2016/17, you hardly see a reputable member joining to promote the shit coins. So what is your point?

i believe, the OP is talking about a different bounty hunting job. read again and try to understand what he's saying, even if it is hard to understand his statements.  Tongue it is like paying someone to do the job (i don't know if you know what i mean here). it is like paid mercenaries. definitely, some are hiring this kind of bounty hunters, however, maybe if the money involved is big. but if it is only small, is it really worth it hiring a bounty hunter? most of the time, you just let it go.
^It is a mixed idea based on my understanding.
Crypto bounty hunters help scam projects as OP meant and even though they know, they blindly accept it because hoping of making a profit when they received the reward. But not all of them are worth it to promote. It is risky to be a bounty hunter and the reason why I stopped this is because you don't know if you are helping a project that scams people. All you think is profit that will probably get not be the quality and potential of the project.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: War of exchanges on: November 11, 2022, 10:03:43 PM
~snip~
It would have been war of exchanges if every exchange out there started following similar path. I think it could be internal decision. Because if such spontaneous cycle of removing exchange coins started then everyone will end up removing their own TICKER from every exchange. Could impact the business badly.
^That is exactly, this is not considering war exchange because only one exchange did this not all exchanges, and probably if 5 exchanges will do the same thing, I think that boils down to considering there is an exchange war. But this could trigger a reaction from another exchange which is the same as they are destroying Binance because it is a big-name exchange, the competitor will always make happy to see this.
For now, let us wait for further results of this drama, I am doubtful that there is possible hidden agenda for this
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Capital during sudden crashes on: November 11, 2022, 09:54:23 PM
But in some time as long as the market is still on a negative trend it actually scares the holders. those of us who are attacked by FUD in several times have the potential to sell assets, FOMO is very difficult to look for because of the thin hype in the trend. we now see that FUD is even easier to deploy.
In a bear market like this. FUD is more prominent since most of the whales in this time want to continue the bear market given that they will re-enter the market and reinvest the profits they gained during the bull market. FOMOing on this kind of market scenario will be inefficient since most of the people are thinking negative in cryptocurrency after they lost money on the start of bear market. I'm doing DCA today and at the same time I'm also trying to capitalize the sharp dips and big FUD events in crypto just like what happened this week between CZ and FTX.
^The reason why the market struggling too much at this moment to rise up.
It becomes prolonged because many people will do the same as others who get FUD and the effect will spread. FUD will always be there because of us who did not believe in BTC the price suffered to increase. But I know there are some people who have faith in BTC, they hold it for a long purpose, and probably those countries who invested in BTC are also holding it right now, especially El Salvador.
However, CZ and FTX has now have an effect on the market.
790  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: November 11, 2022, 09:42:31 PM
Not heading to request will do you enough good. This is not the actual time to invest in bitcoin for someone who doesn't understand the cons and pros of crypto investment. It's better to say no than get yourself involved in what you get tired of explaining now and then of how their investment is losing value. As it stands now, the crypto market is unhealthy and nobody can boldly tell you where the market is pointing at.
^All they want is profit and for sure they will not accept when there is a loss, if you don't want to get involved and blame them soon, I rather refuse the offer but instead let them understand how investments in crypto work. There is no problem if they will support you financially to invest in crypto as long as they are understood, they will wait until we will see a healthy market but as of now itis very risky to the market. Just tell them holding a long-term will give them a reasonable profit.
791  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History of Poker on: November 10, 2022, 10:38:17 PM
Of all the games in a casino, the only one I actually enjoy is Poker. "Poque" is one of the most popular games in the gambling industry. It has been around as we know it for around 100 years. It is said to have been brought from Eastern Europe onto the Americas by New World immigrants and since then has suffered several mutations; nowadays it has evolved into dozens of other gambling options and it is probably the most played online casino game in the world. Its history is quite interesting!

It is always interesting to read about the historical development of anything. It helps to give one good foundational knowledge and also gives the proper recognition to the founders of such things. I was very surprised to read that the almighty Poker game did not originate from America, but from Europe, the Middle East, and China. It was also nice to read about the transnational stages of this game to what we all enjoy now in various offline and online casinos. These changes got me thinking of how the Poker game would be played in the future.
^We are the same, I loved to play poker since then but I never know the history of it.
I thought before it came from something in the middle east because it is all about playing cards but I know, my confusion was gone because of those statements above.
However, bluffing is the first word that I learned in Poker but I don't know before how to execute my opponent, and reading their face expression sometimes boils down to massive losses.
792  Economy / Gambling / Re: A HUGE Scam is going on with bitsler! on: November 10, 2022, 10:23:24 PM
Quote
"Feel free to post on btctalk we already have a nice collection of kids like you who feel important only because they use caps and insults. I hope you feel better now that you have found someone to blame for your own issues."

This was an epic reply lol!  As I read @op whining, I can conclude that saying Bitsler is a huge scam is an overstatement and unfounded.  I also understand that the problem and situation stated by @OP is created by him alone and Bitsler has nothing to do with it.  If @op wanted to self-exclude then leave the site alone and never come back.  And I think if Bitsler implements an IP block, no one is stopping @op to register to another casino again, thus it is nonsense for Bitsler to block his IP  since the result will be still the same, OP looking for a new site to play with.

I think rather than pushing Bitsler to block your IP @OP,  you should be seeking medical assistance and have a consultation on whether you have a gambling addiction that needs treatment.
^Good luck to the casino that OP found, later on, OP start blaming again and come up here to blame another casino that made him money lose.
There are people who cannot accept their losses or it is not easy for them to move on, the reason for the addiction is that they keep chasing their loss until such time they did not meet this goal which is turn into an addiction or become worse. If I were in the shoe of OP, just quietly leave gambling and find a better place to hang out while healing his addiction to gambling.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 09, 2022, 10:56:02 PM
Some gamblers keep their gambling activities secrete from people they have close relationship with. Having it in mind that if these people know they are gamblers,it might bring down their reputation or make them look wasteful. I hide my gambling activities from my Mom the reason is that she hates gamblers and calls them irresponsible people from her own perspective.

Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.

^There is no freedom of hiding, I gamble freely and my family knows this.
I let them know what is my activity and I can manage everything I show them that I can control myself from addiction and I am not irresponsible with all things. There is a benefit of letting anyone know when you gamble because when you are in the addiction stage, there is someone will warn you and try to stop you if they will see you are in the worst condition. So there is no reason of hiding if you are a gambler as long as you are financially free and you gamble your own money, just go for it because it is good to gamble without hiding.
794  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betnomi is a scam site on: November 09, 2022, 10:45:33 PM
This is a user with multiple accounts on our platform. To be precise, he/she has 9 different accounts on the platform
which is just ridiculous. As usual, we will enforce our multiple account policy.
It's the usual fight against abusers vs a crypto casino :-)

^Definitely right and you nailed it.
I appreciate the betnomi casino, they are replying on this thread actively which is becoming very professional. Imagine, despite what OP did they did not disclose the OP's privacy. In a case like this where an abuser pretends to be a victim in public if the casino will not depend on their side will probably ruin their reputation. What do you think is the cause of making multiple accounts in the KYC casino or is the OP just dumb and did not think about the KYC which is easy to determine all accounts that he created?
795  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto raffle game idea | feedback required on: November 07, 2022, 09:55:49 PM
Since you have other plan to create your own casino, better to focus on that one and leave the idea to create a raffle game aside. You can use the raffle as one of your promotion tools for your casino once it is alive. Raffle where players collect ticket by wagering is better and more attractive than a raffle where your players need to buy the tickets. As previously said by other members, raffle game is not attractive at all and it will just waste your time and money because the interest for such lottery/raffle game is so low in this crypto gambling industry.
^I have been here in the forum for how many years and honestly, those projects that the same on this path are usually failed in the end. Because people are not interested in the lottery because it is a boring game and you need to wait for how many hours for the result. Regarding fairness, using the BTC blockchain result is the best idea than live streaming, we need provable fairness that can be publicly seen. Using this method is the best idea but still, it is up to your decision.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: recommendation for gambling platform on: November 07, 2022, 09:44:21 PM
Although recommendations from members promoting casinos on their signature spaces may seem biased (and I don't quite appreciate doing so) but most of those casinos are good and have good reputation (except the 1xsh.t).
But players have different tastes so what may seem good to someone, may seem awful to you. Choosing the best suitable casino for you depends on your own preferences. I advice you to try different ones with small amounts of money till you find the one you feel confortable with.
^Definitely right and I agree that it could be called bias because you are promoting this, I would not suggest to OP what I am promoting but if OP has time to check every casino that promoting here depends on OP's taste. This seems to ask for financial advice and I don't want OP to blame me in the end, probably the good thing is OP won't rely on others' opinions but instead, having his own research would be the best idea for this.
You are in the right place asking for a good gambling website to pick but spend more time to find a good one that based on your taste.
797  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: November 05, 2022, 09:43:26 PM
The bear market present a great buy opportunity, most here know this.  However, for some reason, the typical masses prefer to buy in during bull market, missing out on significant and at times astronomical gains- don't be this.
Buying during a bull market is of course because they have been exposed to FOMO that the market will continue to go up and up, whereas when they start buying in a bull market, a dump will immediately occur and this will be a willing trap that can be very detrimental.

The truth is buying in a bear market as it is today, Bitcoin price is still quite cheap if we look at bitcoin's last ATH. and buying when bearish must also be with a strategy, don't do all this because it will be dangerous. it's better to buy gradually when the price drops. leave some money in reserve in case the price continues to fall.
^ I think anytime you can enter the market as an investor either a bull market or a bear market, if the price continues to go down you can do purchasing in a DCA way if the price keeps declining just continue purchasing, and the last one is doing the math and calculate it to determine your goal of making a profit. As long as you are not selling under the price where you purchased, you are safe. Keep in the long term if the market falls down, there is nothing to lose once you did not sell it. We have seen different advice and I hope we can able to apply it to ourselves.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 05, 2022, 09:34:18 PM
i am a newbie in bitcoin, and i plan to buy bitcoin,, and will invest in bitcoin, and i want to ask everyone? if investing in bitcoin is it better short term or long term??? but in my opinion, long-term investment is better, but what do you think?
All kind of crypto currency investment should be long term, unless you are investing in some coins that are trending or is being hyped. If those are the coins, then invest, make profit and sell quickly before the hype ends or else you will make some huge losses. But if it is bitcoin, then invest, keep holding, when the price drops, invest more to hold long term, when the price reaches your profit goal, sell it and enjoy your profit. Look at the charts. Zoom out and you will see that bitcoin is always profitable in the long run.
^Definitely right, only BTC can be trusted in a long-term investment, not on altcoin.
Altcoins are pure hype, especially for those who are new to this business, it is very risky to invest because we did not know what will happen in the future. We have read different altcoins that becomes dead after listing on exchange and some of them are exit scam and that is the reason we cannot randomly select new project. However, on the other hand, BTC was already proven and tested for how many years and when the new ATH will come everyone is very happy.
799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Effective strategy to get crypto news. on: November 05, 2022, 09:28:12 PM
Information available on the internet is vast and we can't really know everything in it and yes obtaining the right information is really challenging and time consuming and if there is a way to filter out the things and you know something effective way then yes it would be gladly welcomed by everyone.

Personally I trust very few crypto news sites only even in that there are many news which are mostly comes with the intention of manipulation so news is just a part to make strategies and I am never rely on it completely.
^ Choosing a legitimate and popular crypto news website is always the best option and it should be reliable.
You should not rely on one source, there are a bunch of them that you must check and compare them. I have noticed that all crypto news has the same content on their blog and I think it is no different from others. If you have internet, just simply search on Google and you will get the answer, 3-5 sources will be the best choice.
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 05, 2022, 09:22:23 PM
Online casinos and sports betting platforms are big businesses like we all know, and currently considering the economic situation of things around the world many businesses are affected and have been taking measures to cut costs in terms of reducing staff, taking loans etc to still be able to sustain operations. How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?
^I think we need to hear first an online casino on this question because it seems they have more something to say than us as a player or gamblers only.
But my perception is that this was already on this plan from the start and probably lowering staff will be the first step and then taking a loan.
A business owner must be wise about this, it could be downtime if you cannot sustain and you will do everything just to put raise back your business every business has the same idea on how to cope during bad times.
