If you are not financially capable never enter gambling, if you plan to borrow money just for gambling stuff, that is the biggest mistake of your life unless you are super lucky and hit a jackpot that happens once in a blue moon. Do gambling if you have extra money apart from your savings, of course, don't bet your life savings or it is the end.  Cheesy That is why there are broken families, the head of the family is a failure not able to get away from gambling addiction.

People can gamble if they want to just have fun or want to entertain and pass some time in leisure. If people want to make money from it or just depended on it is the wrong thing because it would be very much possible that out of 10 only 1 could be successful in doing so. Also, it can lead to many health hazard and lose out lot of money as addiction rate increases.

I'm into it but I'm not a smoker nor drinks alcohol. This is depending to the gambler himself, if he's too addicted for all of it, he needs medication so that he can flee from those vices.
Just like what we are reminding to the rest, gamble responsibly so it should be the same with drinking alcohol and smoking. If it's too much, bad results will occur.

Generally speaking gambling and other drinks or smoke are not dependent and are totally separate . But if person who is addicted to gambling and is running into losses have seen them started to drink in order to get high and forget about the pain which he has got from gambling etc . So for some who cannot control themself may end up into drinking and smoking too .

Bad days for team India. Lost the u19 final battle to Bangladesh, got whitewashed after 31 years (last one was 1989). I was out of gambling for a long time because of being busy in IRL, otherwise could have realized  a good amount of BTC lost  Cheesy
Indian batting was not that bad but look at Navdeep and Shardul; they were way much expensive. Bumra was less expensive but failed to pick some wickets. What happened with Shami? Wasn't he in the squad? He was doing pretty well.

In U19 World Cup, Bangladesh’s patience in the end helped them to win the cup because after 7 down if they lost another wicket they would have lost the match . They only scored runs on bad balls and waited for it.  While on other hand NZ batsman were too good in third match because they were hitting six to somebody likes of Bumrah. This itself means that NZ has comeback strongly after losing the T20 series .

I was expecting at least a win from Virat and co but not seeing one from one of the best ODI ranking team was surprising for me. I used to believe that inform Indian team can beat any team with whatever lineup they have but I was wrong.

It's one of those surprise when reality does not meet the expectation.

Anyway.. it was not like they lost the matches by 100 runs or more. All the three matches were pretty close. And the reason why India lost, was due to the poor performance from 2-3 players. Captain Virat Kohli took some very brave decisions, such as resting Rohit Sharma and sending Prithvi Shaw to open the batting. It didn't worked that well, but I would still appreciate his boldness to experiment.

I do agree that it was a good decision to rest some and let new players also get some exposure . But if we see that NZ confidence would have being killed by whitewash In T20 series by 5-0 and this advantage team India could not take considering they still had a good and a balanced side . NZ has put double efforts from overcoming loss and and even winning it 3-0 .

Both Latham and Neesham are good players and they habe Grandhomme yet to come. I think it should be an easy win for Newzealand. Your hope will be broken may be Cheesy If India can get one early wicket, things may get changed.
Now, they need 81 from 74 balls which must be easy.

I know my hopes will be broken but when 3 wickets fell soon and the big men went, I felt that more wickets would fall but now the new batsmen have settled and need just 79 runs. But am happy to see 7 RRR as it was 6 earlier.  Sad

NZ now requires 42 runs in 42 balls. 5 wickets in hand. Latham would be the key here and if he stays till the last NZ will win the game easily. India requires quick wickets else they would be on the losing side. Chahal last over and has bowled well till now and picked up 3 wickets. Can he take another wicket in his last over and bring India back in the game.

NZ won the toss in last ODI match and put India to bat . India are batting at 270/6 in 47 overs . Last three over India would like to surpass 300+ runs as Jadeja is batting . Iyer is in superb form and got out at 63 and Rahul completed his century and was out at 112.

At last Prithvi Shah played 40 runs from 42 balls is okay for a new comer. I do not know what has gone wrong with Mayank Agarwal, suprised to see this youngster struggling so much. His performance has been below average in this series.

Again Iyer and Rahul scored wonderfully. They are bothe good batsmen and can play at any order, especially Rahul.

NZ have started magnificently and are at 84/0 in 12.1 overs. Guptil is on fire and batting at 58 in just 34 balls. NZ has ravines their lost ground and after the last 2 winnings this has boosted them to win now every match . Only chance for India would be picking couple of quick wickets and put pressure back on NZ.

It's all go out on how responsible are you when gambling if you have a strong character before you to gambling, you can stop yourself from falling hard on it, a strong character has a strong will, and he knows his priority in life a responsible person knows where to put gambling in his life.

The moment people starts considering gambling is just to make money from it the real issues starts to begin . They will play more and more to win every time and it does not happen . They will lose money in process. Also will now play to recover money and by now might even be addicted to it .Those who play Thor enjoyment are the one who enjoy rather then being under stress .

I like to talk about tomorrow's match between India and New Zealand. I see in freebitco.in, many people are betting on India whereas New Zealand already showed their ability in ODI in last 2 matches. I guess people are thinking like India may fight hard to prevent a whitewash, but not that will be possible with such a weak openers and Kohli is also not doing up to his level in New Zealand conditions.

Even tomorrow match will be a dead rubber, I feel it would too hard to predict the winner. My instincts also says India will prevent a whitewash but that could be possible only when India do some changes in their batting line up.

It’s a tough ask to predict the winner as both teams are good and NZ bearing India in Malay 2 games just have the little edge against India . But since this is lasting the series and India 2 down would try very hard to win this match so that they do not end up in a whitewash series . I expect a tough match tomorrow .
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 10, 2020, 01:01:45 PM
I like to know your opinion about the question because I believe every gambler has a different way of managing himself.

My answer to the question is I can easily stop when I am winning because I am afraid I might end up with nothing since I know to myself that I am not yet consistent enough to win in gambling, however, based on my experience, I can't easily stop when I am losing despite the fact that I already set up a limit to gamble in a certain day or a certain session.

Do we have the same attitude or not?

Ohh this is an interesting question!

Winning and losing actually puts a gambler in a pedestal on whether to gamble or to stop. Most gamblers that I know, whenever they win, they would continue to gambling but when they lost, they try to recover the value that they had just lost. It's actually funny and at the same time problematic on where to draw the line on stopping on your winnings or continue to recover your losses.

It would be easier to stop gambling when you are winning. Commonly, if you lose, you tend to play more to get your money back. And that will lead you to play more and you won't stop until you are satisfied or win. If you win, you will consider that you should stop so you can prevent from losing in the end.

To be honest, it's not that easy to stop especially if you are on a winning streak. Not to mention, losing in gambling makes you want to gamble more in order to recover your losses. The key here is to bring only a limited amount of money and bring someone in order to tell you to stop.

Going by the experience and observing people who gamble, I think if people are little self-disciplined or have some control then it is little easier to stop during winning streaks because you know you have made money and there is high chances that more you play you might end up on a losing note. So, since you have made money one can stop it.

^^^^ If everyone in the Pakistan batting lineup plays like Babar Azam, then they will be the no.1 ranking test team in the world. But that is the problem with Pakistan. The entire workload is falling on the shoulders of a few players, with few others contributing. BTW, what happened to Fakhar Zaman? The combination (Babar-Zaman) was the backbone of Pakistan batting earlier. Babar also performs well, when he is batting along with Zaman. The chemistry is very good, between these two payers.
After good batting from Pakistan bowlers also give some good support now I am feeling this match is going to end in early hours as tail enders cannot resist against quality bowling Naseem's 45 th hatrick in test matches give really good end of day as now he is youngest bowler to achieve this honor now may be Pakistan win this match by an inning.

Good spell by Yasir 4 for 58 helped Pakistan wrap up Bangladesh innings quickly for a score of 168 runs only in second innings and fall short. Thus Pakistan won by an innings and 44 runs. Naseem hattrick helped him to be awarded Man of the match .

The team India reminded me the old Australian team who had this attitude of never give up. They fought very well and even very close to win this match. At some point it was not very hard for them to take all the wickets but the captain of Bangladesh team was cool headed. He was the one who was the savior of the team but still it was looking not much easy.

That 7 runs in 30 balls after the rain actually has taken off all the stress from Bangladesh team. Anyway, it was a good match and watching he scores was stressful. Congrats to Bangladesh team and the fans.

We can say that it was a worthy finals and not one sided beacuse even in the end India has a chance to win as they require wicket and they would have being back in the game . But it was patience of Bangladesh and negotiate the good balls and only play the bad balls and get runs on it helped them to active their target by the end and win the cup for the first time .

England started the chase well but now they lost three quick wickets and South Africa is putting some pressure now and if they are able to pick the wicket of Joe Root then they can defend the total, If Denly and Root is able to put a good partnership then the rest of the batsman will have the capability to chase this total and the series depends upon this partnership and hope South Africa will give a good battle.

Chasing 257 runs to win England in the end wins the match by 2 wickets and had 40 balls to spare . With this the one day series ends I think he draw as second match was a abandoned due to rain and series ends with 1-1. Adil Rashid was man of the match .

Low scoring game are beauty and good to watch if bowlers dominating the game. Bangladesh did the same in the first inning, Indian trying to replicate the same in this pressure game. 3 quick wickets and 1 retired hurt can do wonder atleast it gave some breathing area to Indian camp. Ravi Bisnoi doing wonderful job so far, let's see if other join him and capitalize on this opportunity.

The match is again in the balance now and anyone can win from here on. As I said before, Bangladesh has to make the runs in the World cup pressure game but this period is very important. If they can cross 100 without losing another wicket, they can again dominate the match but if they lose one or two wickets now, it will be very tough for Bangladesh.

The match is taking too many turns now it is becoming more and mote exciting with every passing ball . Bangladesh are now 103/6 and still require 75 runs in 159 balls and only 4 wicket left . Wickets is the key in this match now and both team has a chance now to win the game from here .
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 09, 2020, 11:14:59 AM
India off to very slow start as that are just 93/1 in 27.3 overs. Good thing is that India has 9 wickets in hand and Jaiswal is batting on 50 and if he stays till the end or make century then India could cross 275+ runs and India would like to make maximum runs and put pressure back on Bangladesh.

India in deep trouble as they have lost 6 wickets for a score of just 168 runs in 43 overs. Jaiswal who was playing so well missed his century and got out at 88 runs who was the last hope for India to help them reach some respectable score. Now even reaching 200 runs is a little difficult. Bangladesh would be really happy by far the way they have bowled and kept India under control.

Final of U19 between India vs Bangladesh is about to begin and winning the toss Bangladesh have decided to field first. India would like to put up a good total on this pitch and then batting second itself in this tensed final will put some added pressure on Bangladesh. Hopefully we do see a last over finish a make this match a really worthy final of the World Cup.

This is amazing! This guy can potentially beat Virat Kohli in upcoming years (but the problem is that Kohli continues to further evolve). Roll Eyes

He is really talented player and the way he bats and executes the shots truly show his class as a batsman and hope he continues his hard-work and does not get carried away with this form. Pakistan has taken 187 runs lead and left with 3 more wickets. Sohail is on 54 and if he can make some quick runs they can surpass lead of 250+ which will be enough considered the way Pakistan has bowled in first innings.

799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 08, 2020, 11:54:35 AM
In response to Bangladesh total of 233 runs, Pakistan have started their innings very strongly and are 318/3 which means already a lead of 85 runs and 7 wickets still remaining. Babar is batting on 125 and Shan got out at exact 100. Asad is on 55 and this looks like Pakistan can take 250+ lead easily and end up winning by innings as well.

If this how India plans to play the ODI's then this series will be a whitewash. Good come back and brilliantly played by Newzealand. Today's match shows not only they are good in batting but they have very good bowlers.

Kiwis are back in the business of winning the matches now. India middle order is responsible for today's loss else they would have won it and the way Iyer, Jadeja, Thakur, Saini played and made runs it showed that if you stay on the pitch runs were not that hard to come by. With this NZ won the series and would now try for a whitewash and take revenge of T20 series.
