7841  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for $1000 loan/investment 10x+ paid back! on: July 06, 2013, 08:26:32 AM
You're not going to get anything without showing either a guaranteed way to get their money back or a solid plan. Also, requiring a loan of this quantity with no collateral is pretty much laughable. Why don't you go to the local bank and ask them. You wouldn't have to worry about giving you're identity over the internet then.
7842  Economy / Goods / Re: ► ► ► LEALANA PHYSICAL SILVER LITECOINS - TAKING ORDERS NOW! on: July 06, 2013, 08:19:27 AM
Interesting. I'm not normally interested in alt coins not even litecoin. But, these look wonderful. I love them. I might just get a few for novelty purposes.
7843  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your favorite movie moments? on: July 06, 2013, 08:18:02 AM
When reading the title I instantely thought of dumber and dumber starring Jim Carrey. When they pick up the guy in their car and Jim Carrey (Llyod) says "Do you know what the most annoying noise is?" (something along those lines) and then does a funny ass impression.
7844  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movies you really want to see but haven't been able to yet on: July 06, 2013, 08:15:34 AM
Wow, you want to watch a lot of movies. I wouldn't be able to find the time of day to watch all of them. Good luck with that. I can't contribute because I have watched all I want to watch at the moment in time.
7845  Economy / Auctions / Re: Lot of ten USB Miners on: July 06, 2013, 06:04:06 AM
Current bid on eBay is $1350.

Then sell it on eBay, I wish people would stop using this forum as some damn secondary listing service. You will NEVER get $1300+ here, when at current BTC price I can get 10 USB miners for $600 from Asicminer direct.

Never say that! A pizza sold for 10k Bitcoin! But, yeah you're most likely not going to get that amount in Bitcoin because Bitcoins value could increase by a lot rather quickly. I wish you the best of luck.
7846  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Alternative to BitInstant? on: July 06, 2013, 05:28:59 AM
A great alternative is bitsumo.com, you should go check their website out. Also here is their thread for any questions you may have: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=226091.0
7847  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CoinsForTech.com - Global Electronics Wholesaler! on: July 06, 2013, 04:56:57 AM
I believe the OP will. The website has as a lot of detail & products listed. Scammers are normally lazy people who don't tend to make such a effort. The site would of only generated 1 income most likely, because it would of been called out to be a scam if it was. Unless they were hoping on a rush buying spree.

I think the site is legit just because of that reason. I'm looking forward to seeing the response. Yet the pricing doesn't seem right and may be a mistake.
7848  Economy / Services / Re: Minecraft Maps for Bitcoin! on: July 06, 2013, 03:33:12 AM
Can you create a new block, like a bitcoin block, that ties in with economy? Just an idea for a plugin, sorry not a map!

Hmm. I personally couldn't, but that is GENIUS! I love it! Get a Bukkit plugin-maker to script that.

A tag on idea... When the bitcoin is mined, it releases a security key, allowing the map owner to reward players with real bitcoins. If anyone gets this working, let me know!

Or alternatively, you could store a real bitcoin wallet in a block.

Genius. Each one would have a special value. Would take a long time to mine. Maybe 32 times harder than obsidian. That would be approx. 128 minutes. It might be worth, for example, 15 mBTC. Just an idea.

Actually sounds awesome.

7850  Economy / Auctions / Re: [auction] 210 BTC of debt on: July 06, 2013, 12:50:02 AM
Is there any reserve on this? lol
7851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get prepared to buy BACK!! on: July 05, 2013, 02:07:45 PM
i set my offers to 10-30$

No need to hurry. Recovery after bubbles takes years. After 2011 crash it was ranging around $5 for 6 months.

It would be a miracle to reach $100 again within next 12 months.

Bitcoin has performed miracles before. *crosses fingers*. It's a extremely good time to buy. But, who knows it could go down more.
7852  Economy / Lending / Re: 50BTC Investment on: July 05, 2013, 02:05:58 PM
What is you're company name?
BLXPM Solar

Can't be found on Google ^^

I can't find it anywhere at the moment. Not even registered companies. I'm on my phone so it's a bit awkward to search these types of things (my phone is slow & OLD). I'll take a look later.
7853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to start on Bitcoin ? on: July 05, 2013, 01:51:10 PM
I started by offering services and receiving Bitcoin in return. I then bought items & sold items for profit with Bitcoin. Now, I'm investing in a idea of mine that will hopefully bring in a lot of income. From both Bitcoin and fiat money. Of course I'll be converting most of the fiat money into Bitcoin.

My advice to start on Bitcoin would be don't go crazy buying mining equipment. I would recommend offering you're services or looking for a job which pays in Bitcoin. For example contact different companies which sell their product/service for Bitcoin. Then email them with a application telling them you're skills and other credentials. You'll be surprised what you could get. I personally have been looking for a customer service job because I'm familiar with Bitcoin. This is just to land a few extra Bitcoin when I can.
7854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People a lot of times forget that we live in a digital world on: July 05, 2013, 01:46:40 PM
We do everything on devices. I barely even use paper anymore with the exception of my ass. Value has to be stored to retain its validity . Fiat gets stored in centralized banks? what a joke. Totally inefficient and has no mathematic logic to it. People are Fallible. a machine especially when it's a well built machine isn't fallible. I'd trust a machine over a banker any day of the week

Except you are forgetting machines are built and programmed by people. Even machines that build other machines are first built and programmed by people. I agree people are fallible, but to claim something made by (fallible) people is infallible is nonsense.

I like you're point. People tend to forget that machines are made by people. Like you said, even machines which build machines were first made by a person. What's the famous quote? "All computers are stupid". They can't think for themselves, they take instructions and operate because something is telling them to do that certain action. When you are on the computer and click to open a document the computer doesn't go "No, piss off. You haven't cleaned me yet". Computers don't have AI. They are programmed by a person and operate on that persons instructions.
7855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: July 05, 2013, 01:43:26 PM
It is not possible.

Care to elaborate? You say that without explaining anything. That's like saying the world is going to end because this guy said so. What is stopping Bitcoin from reaching that amount?

I do believe it could reach that amount. But, I don't think it is any time soon. It's still very young and is not yet adopted by enough people. Because of the amount of people mining, it's going to be hard for people to actually buy Bit coins. Sooner or later they are going to become very hard to get. Therefore, as long as they are still in circulation & are used for something, they will become more valuable.
7856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Way to get round the 5 post limit... on: July 05, 2013, 01:40:27 PM
The only problem I see with the limit is that there isn't much that is worthwhile to post here.
Leading to posts such as this one.

There are a lot of good conversations in the newbies section. In fact most Bitcoin businesses post here because it's a larger customer base.
7857  Economy / Lending / Re: 50BTC Investment on: July 05, 2013, 01:38:19 PM
What is you're company name?
7858  Economy / Lending / Re: 50BTC Investment on: July 05, 2013, 01:33:16 PM
For one, you have not provided any proof. Second you're trust rating is already indicating people not to trust you. It seems by looking over you're posts you have tried to sell a lot of things and insisted on the buyer to send first and refused to accept any type of escrow. That's enough red flags for me. The solar panels in the goods section are most likely being sold by a non reputable member, I haven't checked because I'm on the phone and can't use the search function.

Please provide information of you're solar power company.  You need to provide all credentials before anyone takes you seriously.

EDIT: That's great telling us you are located there. That's a good place for a solar company. But, what we really need is the companies name to see if it's registered and you are who you say you are. Otherwise, you should think about asking you're bank for a loan. They would keep you're information confidential and make sure they get the money back. I you are buying the solar panels then convert that money into BTC. It's not hard.

Asking for a huge amount online without providing any collateral or any other means of insurance is a no no. You haven't even given any information on you're company. I normally speak to company owners and they throw their name around because it increases potential sales.

7860  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first post. on: July 05, 2013, 01:27:32 PM
Welcome to the forum! Mining is getting very risky. I wish you the best of luck.

Risky how?

The money which you need to folk out to purchase mining hardware is expensive. Because of new technology being introduced the difficulty has risen by a lot. It's just going to continue to get harder. You might buy hardware which will bring in around 1 BTC this week, but a month later it could bring in something like 0.2. You have to be very careful when going into mining. You have to take into count electricity bills, break even of hardware and must have the technical know how to maintain the equipment. Many have reported having their hash rate slow after time, that's normally because it was either not set up correctly or it is over heating. There are many things which need to be taken into consideration before proceeding.
