7861  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Sites to earn bitcoins ? on: September 02, 2017, 08:49:03 PM
Outside the forum? You can take a look at some GPT sites with Bitcoin as a payment method. Basically, once you join the site, you are getting paid by doing some small tasks and jobs, complete some free offers, taking surveys etc. You won't make ton of money for sure, but there are some people making at least 3 digits per month with it. Better than nothing
7862  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coins.ph Customer Service on: September 02, 2017, 08:34:06 PM
The holidays season, it is possible they are just restricted with the staff, especially if it is not a big company (I know you will say, look at Coinbase it's a big company but a real shit regarding the support all months of the year Cheesy) By the way isn't Coins.ph  a service available only for the Filipinos dudes ?
7863  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why transactions takes so long? on: September 02, 2017, 08:23:38 PM
If you think 30 seconds is too low for you then I think cryptocurrencies are not really for you. Or you may take a look at Ripple xD
I am fine with waiting 1 hour to see a Bitcoin transaction fully completed, it's much better to what it was sometimes before. Of course, faster than 1 hour would be nice too

I don't know much about how BTC or ETH works, but why all cryptocurrencies takes so long to confirm a transaction. I think even 30s is too long, why cant it be instant like PayPal?

it depend on market because if you sell bitcoin into ethereum you cannot transact it easily because you need to wait until your item (coin) will buy.

I think you should read the OP more carefully to avoid to reply out of topic
7864  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase & bittrex need to make it safe on: September 02, 2017, 08:09:36 PM
If what you mean is to get your money on cold storage then etherwallet.is the best place to be. But with all transaction you pay a fee unless you are depositing that I know you wouldn't be charged

@Pfeff is right here: Cold storage is, for example, a paper wallet, hardware, USB, something that is not hosted on a server or a computer. What you are suggesting has nothing to do with "cold storage". There are often posts totally misinforming people because posters just google in hurry to have then something to say. It would be cool if you don't post if you don't know
7865  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin debit card with the best possible exchange rate on: September 02, 2017, 11:36:35 AM
I remember to see a table comparison from Bitwala comparing the 4-5 most popular bitcoin debit card services, with rates etc.
Bitwala was the service offering the best rate between them. (checking right now, Bitwala rate is 3980€ and Kraken 4000€)
All cards come from the same company MyChoice, so you won't find any major difference with the fees so it's best that you take in consideration the BTC rate and the support offered.
I used Cryptopay and Advcash, both work well. Bitwala support is outstanding
7866  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN PRICE NEVER GO DOWN on: September 01, 2017, 09:38:51 PM
Bitcoin prices always go up every day, and the price can not be stopped, if always like this, when bitcoin prices will go down?
Or will not the bitcoin price go down?

Where were you in July when the value of bitcoin lost something like $800 in a few hours. Have you already forgotten? Bitcoin goes up and down multiple time during the day, and yes the price can be stopped anytime and we are going to see it again before November
7867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto identified by NSA,? on: September 01, 2017, 09:31:46 PM
There will always be different speculations over the years. There will always be people or entities that will make assumptions. Some have also probably some interests to maintain the myth of an anonymous person. NSA can also have its own interest to spread some rumors.
Who trust the NSA in 2017
7868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best platform for day trading? on: September 01, 2017, 06:19:40 PM
Bittrex is the most populat so is the best choose

Because a site is the most popular it doesn't mean it is the best. It may be because people don't have many alternatives and can accept to get restricted somewhere (for example a feature or something like that) With all the Poloniex recent problems people had to switch somewhere and Bittrex look a good alternative.
In fact, the popularity of Bittrex was decreasing since last year, and only since April/May it is becoming more popular

7869  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase sees complaints grow on: September 01, 2017, 06:04:44 PM
Probably an impact of the current high fees and transaction times.

Man imagine all the legal expenses for these.

And how it can be an impact of the high fees and transaction times? So you are telling us that if Coinbase support sucks a lot it is because f the bitcoin's high fees. And since the transactions times can be very long, it is the reason why Coinbasse support takes so long to reply to people.

Totally logic
7870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: traceability on: September 01, 2017, 10:28:34 AM
I read on several websites that especially gov agencies are not capable of tracing bitcoing transactions.
all those website are wrong. or possibly you didn't read the full thing to understand it.

bitcoin transactions aren't exactly traceable to you but they are not anonymous either. it is somewhere in between.
since everything is public, you can see everything on the blockchain and using this you can do some analysis and come up with some results about where the funds come and go and possibly tell who they belong to. but this is not 100% and will never be 100%.

On the other hand I read that Monero at this moment has the most security in tracing. Is this true ?
so far Monero is the best cryptocurrency with anonymous transactions that others.

Excuse me but I don't agree with you. There are far better cryptocurrencies focused on privacy. For example Zencash is better than monero regarding anonymous transactions, it can't even be compared to Monero. Just take a look at the project and you will change your opinion
7871  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia hacked !? on: September 01, 2017, 09:16:53 AM
all my bitcoins are withdrawn without my confirmation. stood 2FA, but that did not stop them. E-mail confirmation was turned off and all coins were withdrawn. is this a bug of the exchange? And is there any hope that my stolen bitcoins will return me?

I guess you're one of the people with 2FA for the withdrawals but not for log into your account. Which is kind of silly, because in Cryptopia you can transfer coins to another account directly, without email verification. You can even allow withdraw coins to a selected address only
7872  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any Good Bitcoin to Paypal/Other Online Payment System? on: September 01, 2017, 09:04:56 AM
You may take a look at Coinbank. They do have a feature to sell your bitcoin to Paypal. But it's upon verification of your account. And Paypal can hold your fund for 21 days sometimes (like it can happen with sales from ebay).

There are quite a lot of exchange.
https://goldux.com/ and https://www.bestchange.com/ are one of the highest volume exchanger.

It is not a good idea to exchange bitcoins and paypal directly, you should probably keep PM or any other payment options as middleman to avoid being restricted by Paypal.

You have no idea of what your are talking about. You surely searched in google in hurry without even checking.
Bestexchange.com is not an exchange, they just list the exchangers depending on the payment processors you select
Goldux doesn't have paypal

...one of the highest volume exchanger....
oh yeah, you make me laugh
7873  Economy / Exchanges / Re: fee converting 1btc to euros on: August 31, 2017, 03:34:19 PM
Yes, you got it right. And no other fee to consider for selling your bitcoin. However, the next fee you should consider is for transfer the Euros to your bank account. I think your screenshot is from Kraken right? There the fee is just €0.09,(no matter the amount) which is nothing
7874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the best ICO... on: August 31, 2017, 01:46:28 PM
I am not good to recommend you any ICO but I have something else to recommend.
What about stopping to lose your money? It looks you already lost a lot and you are still looking to lose more. And you even ask which ICO can help you to lose more.
There are a lot of iCOs that are just garbage in my opinion. Why not investing in an established coin in which you have faith to see it growing?

7876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber’s New CEO Is a Bitcoin Fan on: August 30, 2017, 10:46:24 PM
You are quick to think Khosrowshahi could add Bitcoin as a payment method in the Uber system. He can be a Bitcoin adopter, he can have already done with Expedia, in no way, there is a single sign that it could be added to Uber (at least in a near future) You can be a fan of this and that it doesn't mean you can mix it with your job. Also as mentioned in the article Khosrowshahi has a very long to-do list at Uber
7877  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc and government, what does the future holds? on: August 30, 2017, 04:25:14 PM
And could a government start to ban Bitcoin? It could monitor/control any service such as an exchange, a web wallet, any thing used as a middleman. But as long you are using Bitcoin with a software wallet, how could the government track you? They can not monitor your computer/smartphone to see what you download and what you do with it... Ok true that they can see what you download (with the help of ISP etc) For example in my country, downloading an illegal movie is forbidden and they do track this, many of citizens receive warnings (after 3 they shut down your internet connection lol) So in the case the government can see you downloaded a Bitcoin client, does it mean you used Bitcoin? Nope. It would need to see the activity you do with your wallet, and to be able to do this it would need to "hijack" your computer.
It could be done with a partnership with Microsoft for example. But for the sake of our privacy, this will lead to a drama. And in case it happens, the majority of  GNU/Linux will refuse
7878  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Taxes on: August 30, 2017, 04:04:40 PM

I pay what I have to pay, but the extra income from the internet (Crypto-Currency) they don't have the right to charge me.

Because you probably just make a few dollars online. But the income earned from the internet is supposed to be reported for your taxs as well.  Sometimes it is done automatically. Do you think freelancers never pay a cent with taxs? Of course, they do. No matter cryptocurrency or not an income needs to be reported and yes your gov. does have a right. Otherwise all the big firms  would pay theirs workers in cryptocurrency so they could save millions dollars yearly
So you except to cheat your country and not to pay the taxs, but your country is supposed to give you great infrastructures, hospitals, etc without you giving a cents? Using the money of others people?
7879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Markets Update: Bitcoin Skyrockets to $4650 Setting New All-Time High on: August 30, 2017, 03:26:57 PM
Do you guys think the Bitcoin rate will continue to increase like it is doing these past weeks? I am not going to complain to see Bitcoin above $4500 lol but in my opinion, we may see an opposite move before November and lot of us will be disappointed. What I mean is look, Bitcoin keeps increasing daily and can't even be stable for a full week, I don't think this is about to be pessimistic but need to come back to a reality
7880  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: August 29, 2017, 06:37:57 PM
This is what they sent to me this morning.
So @Hostfat has been quite lucky to get incoming funds from Kraken.com without a problem. Personally, I am not going to take the risk to use it and a day receive a message to tell me my account is frozen etc.

I am now going to target Sogexia and see...

There is something I want to add: LeuPay is a company from SATABank. And I think everyone is able to register an account online on their website... I remember several months ago someone in this forum who did a transaction with a crypto exchange. (not sure if it was a payment out this account to make a deposit, or an incoming payment from an exchange) And there is a very low change the guy was from Malta (the country where the bank is located)
