As for an address, there is a method in Belgium to get one, but don't know if this is considered as legal

It is clear like the water that this account was sold to promote btrash. A true Bitcoin evangelist wouldn't change his mind like that.
The account has been inactive for months and suddenly comes back to denigrate bitcoin. If you really believe in the project, you stay in, no matter what the ups and downs are.
He/She started to post fake information to denigrate Bitcoin, since quite sometime now. With no shame, he will gladly tell you stories that can only be told with acid and has no problem to send you to the wrong road. Posting a fake or manipulated screenshot is not a problem either, he does it from time to time)
Don't listen to what this account is saying. They are also using several accounts for their propaganda (admitted several times).He doesn't represent the Bitcoin's vision in any way.
Bitcoin is maybe not the best (but things improve with time, you don't become a doctor in 3 weeks),
but everyone tries to clone it.

1 person or multiple? But so many newbies on this site only arrived here because of bounty campaigns. Newbies and bounty spammers aren't going to stop making threads about it, and either lobbying for changes or fishing for merit in their OPs Don't worry people will get bored soon enough and both with the lobby will spread the word it doesn't work anymore to cry about. Give it some time and most of those posts will be gone to later pages, it's just that merit is still a new thing and, of course, there will be a discussion about it. No need to bother with merging or creating something like a new board, it would die out within a couple of weeks or month.
1 month later... It will fade away within 3 months, 1 month after is nothing here. Also, you can check what type of members are opening topics about it, it will give you a better idea. As well, you can see yourself there are topics with over 350 pages and people keep posting in, despite the fact nobody is reading or the topic is not relevant 3 or 4 years later, so don't be surprised I counted + 35 topics in 48 hours and then stopped to count. I now try to avoid the Merits Meta section |

Look like the one to blame may be your coin and not Cryptopia. They tried to recover the coins but were not able. You can't blame the team for trying to help the users. It's also their own benefit to help people so why should they say we can't recover if they can?

There are a number of reasons and they are pretty well known. Binance was exposed. Mt Gox funds were sold to the market and contributed in large parts to the previous dips. Japan (you hinted at this) is imposing some stricter regulation on exchanges and forcing some to shut down until they have better security measures in place. US rulings around cryptocurrencies functioning as securities and needing to be regulated as such by the SEC. Try to use your brain before making up some stories. What is the OP talking is back to 3 months, what Binance has to do with it? the hack? Binance sell-off was from malicious trading bot... Japan isn't imposing strict regulations, you just repeat the FUD you read on the internet without knowing what's going on. Japan like the SEC is just asking for improved exchange security |

Germany and France were the first in europe to prominently warn against cryptocurrencies. Now that Germany will accept bitcoin and will tax only VAT, while France was very much in favour to ban cryptocurrencies, what will happen in Europe. There are other european countries who are likely to accept cryptocurrencies, with or without regulations.

Total wrong. France isn't planning to ban cryptocurrencies and never was. We, individual or companies pay our taxes related to cryptos. There is a difference between to ban a crypto and looking to regulate digital currencies. Nobody has a crystal ball to tell you what will be the result of the G20. |

It is good to start a discussion, but luckily this post remained unanswered. In the first topic, the guy was just giving his own opinion. It's a conspiracy theory that is around for a long time now. Maybe a friend of Alex Jones. You can read conspiracies about anything on the web. Can you elaborate what you mean? ECDSA is maybe 25 years old and the cryptographer who offered ECDSA solution passed away years back... And from I have read I quote: "a large number of brains have studied the possibility of designing a quantum computer to attack the security of algorithms such as RSA or ECDSA.
