Wow. A bunch of Android fanboys here. I have an Android myself. Definitely not the greatest thing ever. Depending on your needs, an Apple product may be better. And in fact, probably is - as I said, depending on your needs.

Everything a apple product does, the android does better. Plus can be found a lot cheaper. Obviously, both phones have restrictions, but can be jail broken and altered to you're needs. Everyone loves apple because of Itunes and the apps, but android offers the same type of thing. Androids are a lot faster & more efficient. If you just want to listen to music, get a small mp3 player, there is no need for a iphone or android phone then. But, if you want it for anything else get a android phone.

To the Op. If you still want a Ipod touch and a android phone is out of the question for you, the either the latest version (5th generation) or the 4th generation. Otherwise you'll get limited on the apps you can get. I believe the 3rd generation only goes to IOS 3 (Don't quote me on that). But generation 4+ goes right up the the latest firmware.
7925  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Domain+Code www.BitHits.info on: June 23, 2013, 07:50:36 PM
Holy Impatient Bidders Batman!

I set it to 09-22 for a few reasons, namely billing cycle....

Also start price of 5 BTC because its not just a domain your getting. But a custom written BitCoin Faucet with plenty of features. Very portable and easily adapted to work with other coins (I've already ported it to BTE, DGC, WEC to name a few.)

The script isn't that valuable. Many people can whip that up for anyone within a hour. The domain isn't worth ANYTHING. 5BTC is a lot of money. You need to re advise you're starting bid. No one is going to pay $534 for this when they can have their own custom domain & script for less than $100.

Also, you're auction ending date, lol. Need I say more? Just wait them 90 days and then do the auction.

If you reduce you're price, maybe people will be interested. But you're going to have to bump this thread for 90 days...
7926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Journey from .15 btc to a motorcycle (32 btc) via sports betting OVER 1 BTC NOW! on: June 23, 2013, 07:43:41 PM
What most likely happened was a kid had a small bit of BTC, nothing else really to his name. When entrusted with everyones BTC he went and gambled off the record to try and win more. Probably ended up losing it all then to continue "degen-ing" he scammed some people in the currency section. Hes now disappeared obviously.

Makes sense, though he was doing pretty well on here at least (with the bets he claimed), so it's a bit odd that he would throw it all away. I know for a fact more people would have invested in him, and the amount he could have made off this (just by taking, say 10% of profits) would be massive. And if he lost it all, it had no consequence for him. I would LOVE the chance to be in a situation where I can risk other people's money without any risk to myself, and still get paid a portion of any winnings I get.

He was a scam artist. One of the reasons I held back and didn't invest. I was replying in a loan request and he jumped on and asked me. After a few searches I saw he asked a few people in the lending section. Yet, he criticised people when asking for coins. He's a fool. He could of made a lot more if he continued the way he was. Unless, he started to loose a lot of money. Then decided instead of risking it all and pissing people off because they invested in him. He would take all the money he could and run. Then start posting under a new account. I wouldn't be surprised if he has posted here under a alternative account. Just because we wouldn't expect it.

Yeah, this could've been prevented so easily if people used their common sense >_<

I nearly did fall for it. It was lucky that I investigated before going. Here have my monies.

So much hate on the new model, yet it's such a better way to go about it. I personally prefer it.
7929  Other / Off-topic / Re: Xbox One on: June 21, 2013, 08:58:38 PM
If I ever get a console again, the price would have to be down a lot, just because of the subscriptions involved when you have actually bought the console. In fact, I don't think I would even play on line. I would most likely play single player games.
I doubt I will get a console because for me needs I don't see the point.

Certainly, a shame as I did like the PS3 & Xbox 360. Just because they were mainly for gaming. I did prefer PS3. After experiencing both of them the PS3 was much faster and more responsive. For graphics and game capabilities, they are pretty much the same. Xbox had better communications and more people playing on line and was a lot cheaper than the PS3 at the time.

However, The PS4 is indeed cheaper than the xbox and offers everything related to gaming as the Xbox does. Except the Kinect which is **** anyway.
7930  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Bitcoin Raffle! on: June 21, 2013, 08:51:22 PM
Yes the big question is, is it fair?

Yes the drawing will be fair; I will post the transaction ID, wallet address of the winner, as well as their confirmation code (ticket #) on the front page. All transactions are safe and secure via Coinbase checkout. One confirmation code will be drawn at random in order to select the winner.

So, what are you using to make the draw? You're code? Which could be altered. You are not providing us with a live result, therefore it could be altered to you're friends. Baitty has a point.
You have to show us this is a legit website.

It makes more sense that they are 3BTC. I priced mine at around 5BTC (Without doing much research of course). I was wondering how you were going produce these for 1BTC and sell on for profit.
7933  Economy / Goods / Re: [+++] Bitcoin NotsoMegastore - Bitcoin T-shirts and nothing else! [+++] on: June 21, 2013, 03:50:03 PM
Any copyright issues with the blatant use of redbull, hsbc and budwisers logos?

Most of them fall under "fair use" since I am not selling a rival product.

The only two I thought I could have problems with are hsbc and benneton.

But anyway, copyright is against the spirit of Bitcoin so disregarding it is a pro-Bitcoin statement in itself.

Don't want to be mean. But they aint really original. They too need a lot of work
7934  Economy / Services / Re: Order Anything from Amazon 5-15% Discount on: June 21, 2013, 03:41:11 PM
Okay, I have sold 4 items via amazon.com on Bitmit.net. You can check out my feedback from them buyers if you would like.

Everything purchased from amazon.com has a 15% discount from now on.

Amazon.co.uk will have a 5%.

Amazon.de - I'm not sure if I can process any orders yet, sadly.

400-600€
How much discount would that be?

More than likely the whole 15%.

Okay, we've had threads which have been popular lately about the Xbox. Now I want to hear the opinions of Sony fans and Sony's critics.

So please, tell me what is so good about Sony & why they might beat Xbox.

(Don't mention PC, we are looking for the battle of the consoles here, if you can call them that...)

It seems Xbox changed their plan when they realised they would of made a big loss, what do you think of that? What console are you getting?

The OP hasn't really thought about it much, and made a wild guess. Has the above points state. You are wrong. Alt-coins =\= BTC <--- That is a brilliant answer. Just think about it.

So, I guess my apple is the same as my orange.

Everyone is claiming they have won quite a bit. But, I have lost more than I have won.
