81  Other / Archival / Re: Some thoughts on the Trust system and Scams on: August 26, 2020, 02:07:50 PM
Why the most basic and informative is hidden. It could have saved that newbie. Why hide it for forum guests?

I think this is because the trust system is still an experiment.

And I want to insist on my suggestion regarding trust: guest should see some trust.

The main reason that I went for this solution rather than forcing custom lists is that I would like to show some trust indicator to guests. But before doing that, I want to see whether these modifications can actually be made to work. If not, then I may go to the force-custom-lists solution, and that's incompatible with guests seeing any trust indicators.
82  Other / Meta / Re: How are we expected to rank up? on: August 26, 2020, 02:41:14 AM
The fast track to ranking up like the current crop of meta board asslickers noobs have found out..

1. Meta board you found the jackpot for merit
2. Wall observer thread
Make sure to get there and eat as much ass as you can of merit sources and DT1 ( generally the same thing since merit determines DT1 selection) agree with all the stupid shit they spew out and attack anyone that presents infallible indisputable rebuttals.
3. Do some scam hunting of course ignore the scams DT and merit sources are in on or promoting.
4. Make a ton of useless stats based on the meaningless gamed merit system that pronounces all the non achieving retards with lots of self awarded merits are amazing and valuable real legends.
5. Pretend you have no interest in sigs until on DT1 so you can go straight to CM
6. If a DT1 tells to do something like betray a real friend or reject a valid flag on their sponsor or pal do it at once
7. Anyone who dares present irrefutable evidence of DT scamming is cryptohunter make sure to be first to ID them as such
8. Do not say the word 'fat' in any thread suchmoon may look in on.
9. Don't be overly nice to suchmoon. Best not have any direct contact until you win favor of the other DT1s
10. Say good things about the sponsors of DT1
11. As you get some merit praise how brilliant the merit system is and how it is a perfectly indicator of how smart useful a member is and what they have achieved.
12. Once you've eaten enough ass, supported enough retarded and broken arguments, and helped enough scammers, and tried to punish enough whistleblowers,  have betrayed enough friends and know you have past the point of no return in becoming a corrupt and dirty subservient debased and defiled piece of scum... you will be a hero or legend on Dt1 getting that btc sig dust rolling in.

Some valuable advice for you OP !

It's not that hard to earn mertis if you go the ass licking way, but you have to probably sell your soul for it.
83  Economy / Reputation / Re: LFC_bitcoin sending PMs to his friends to oppose flag and bribing DT inclusion on: August 26, 2020, 02:09:51 AM
Attack from LFC_Bitcoin against me for presenting some solid facts about the situation and asking some on point questions, related to the issues.

Quote
LFC_Bitcoin   2020-08-25   Reference   ICO bump account, I really do not trust this person. Seems to have an unhealthy obsession with trying to discredit me too

This reaction clearly show's how this DT would react to anyone criticizing him of any wrong doing.

He was even doing the same and scaring away legimate opinions and views from many other users in the Sportsbet accusation thread.

Quote from: LFC_bitcoin
Anybody who responds to this thread who isn’t directly involved in the investigation after my post is at the risk of receiving negative trust

I think he is not mentally stable and should seek doctor's help. I even remember him posting images of mentally disabled children's to make fun. Should be booted off DT asap.

Shit

PS: this nice post of mine was deleted by mod so posting it again with an on topic discussion.
84  Economy / Reputation / Re: Purchased account? on: August 25, 2020, 04:13:44 PM
I made a first account and was banned Because it was like spamming that I was writing trivial things to get my bounty only and the first account was blocked

The only wrong thing in your story. You are ban evading according to forum rules.
85  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lucius is signature spammer by dkbit98 ? on: August 25, 2020, 04:00:57 PM
dkbit98's advice in your trust feedback is spot on.

That's just called not being respectful to others, and spamming on there trust wall. Looks like you are saying trust feedbacks are a nice place to send advice. ( coming from someone in DT )
86  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lucius is signature spammer by dkbit98 ? on: August 25, 2020, 02:15:26 PM
You are not a signature spammer in anyway, dkbit98 don't even seem to be a friendly person overall.
87  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinswitch.co is a scam stay away from them on: August 25, 2020, 11:39:05 AM

They fixed my problem today but after I created like 4 telegram accounts since they block each one In the group

Did they fixed your balance amount from negative back to whatever it should be ?
88  Economy / Reputation / Re: Purchased account? on: August 25, 2020, 11:25:33 AM
I want to let you know that after creating the account he made all posts in English until he get inactive on June 28, 2018 but surprisingly started to make all posts in Arabic from November 11, 2018. It seems to me that during 17 month inactivity account ownership has been changed and new owner is using the account from last November.

I don't think that is the case, as the username sound's like Arabic or from an Arabic person.

I even see his Twitter and Telegram profiles mentioned in the first message posted by him on May 31, 2018 still active. The telegram id was last active today.

1.Telegram username: @yhiaali
2.Twitter username: @yhiaali

Could be the same owner discovering merits in 2019 a bit late, after which he started receiving merits generously from his fellow Arabic community.
89  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinswitch.co is a scam stay away from them on: August 24, 2020, 12:57:37 PM
Today 13 days still they avoiding me like  if not exist
I reported then to godaddy and changelly for scam since they use it's APU and affiliate
I will report them online to bengalore cyber crime soon in India

Guys stay away from coinswitch go to changelly or binance directly

You should even consider reporting them on Play Store, I see them having an highly rated app there.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinswitch.kuber

Also, you could link your thread in the comments section there itself so that more people could know the issue.

90  Economy / Reputation / Re: LFC_bitcoin sending PMs to his friends to oppose flag and bribing DT inclusion on: August 24, 2020, 04:39:02 AM
You should show what PMs you sent to LFC that he got a big backing bump.

Ok. I suppose that's Klingon. I translated it to English and back a few times and this is what I got:

Quote
God be wi' you, sir.

Sounds about right.

I am not suppose to post that backing PM again to prove it. I don't want be labled as promoting unethical hacking by topic twisters like you.
91  Economy / Reputation / Re: LFC_bitcoin sending PMs to his friends to oppose flag and bribing DT inclusion on: August 24, 2020, 03:13:07 AM
~snip~

I don't think there is anything behind the scenes, everything is clear. All of the replies I quoted in my previous post were wearing a merits cycling avatar and had baised views about the case, claiming that LFC's action was not manipulative where as it was highly manipulative in the first place in many aspects of the situation. Most importantly it manipulated the flag against sportsbet. There became an unexpected need of unbiased DT1's like Royse777 and efialtis to actually fight or even attract exclusions from other DT powered user's supporting LFC and Sportsbet at specific to bring justice at the table.

I don't know how you see this, but I would never try to fuck with the weaker side of the case, even after all evidences are presented by the victim.

There was a lot of speculation about the hack and whatnot and the usual suspects like the guild members jumping in to stir some extra shit into all this but it's boring and probably of no interest to you.

And please don't send me any merits unless you want to give crypthunter an orgasm.

Bad attempt to fly him back. You should show what PMs you sent to LFC that he got a big backing bump.
92  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinswitch.co is a scam stay away from them on: August 23, 2020, 05:14:34 AM
<....>
These are the profiles that seemed to represent them here:
- abhi.sharma.cs343 Inactive
- iam_aayushiJ Inactive

Looking at their Announcement. All I see are complaints of being scammed and unresponsive support. I am giving them till next week before I can decide to create or support any flag that has been created against their profile.

They don't even look active here on bitcointalk in all, so I don't think slamming them with red tags or even a risk flag would work for the OP to get the funds back or make CoinSwitch reply here. But yes, of course it would avoid further scam victim's on the forum and would advice OP to create a flag against any or all of there profiles here.

I found some more profiles realted to them here but are inactive.

CoinSwitch: advertising here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5047467.0

I don't know how they are still operating in India.
93  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [RESOLVED 21 AUG] Scammed and refunded by seller YOYA (Hero member) for $65 on: August 22, 2020, 01:45:41 AM
It's been about 8 months and the original seller contacted me yesterday and sent me a refund of the amount in question in this thread.  He sent the refund without any demands or requests to remove this complaint.  After doing a lot of checking with various sources I have to take his explanation as being legitimate.  Unfortunately the only way he will be able to remove the 2 flags on his account would be by contacting all of those who have supported it.  Being it has been about 8 months that would be difficult.  So consider this update a commutation of his sentence ....

Removing the support from the flag due to this statement from the OP about YoYa, which show's that the amount in question was refunded.
94  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinswitch.co is a scam stay away from them on: August 21, 2020, 02:40:48 AM
Edit today :
Fit some serious response but I hesitate to work with this company again after this slow and delay
https://ibb.co/yd5tTTp

Others should even hesitate working with them in the future. From this thread itself it is clear that they probably have an very slow and inaccessible costumers support.

I hope you get your funds back and are able to withdraw it asap.
95  Other / Meta / Re: Round #4 Rewritting/Paraphrasing/synonymize, is it ok? on: August 19, 2020, 04:53:34 PM

They even managed to grab merits out of it on the below post. Looks like an serious issue and an good trick working out there.

Source: https://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-classic-suffers-second-51-attack-in-a-week

Hijacking via the 51 percent attack on the blockchain is no joke. In fact it happened three times against the Ethereum Classic (ETC) blockchain on July 29 2020, August 1 2020, as well as August 6, 2020.

In the first attack, it was estimated that the perpetrator of the attack managed to double spend as much as 800 thousand ETC (equivalent to US $ 5.6 million). Meanwhile, the attack cost was equivalent to 17.5 BTC (US $ 204,000).

Reporting from Coindesk, Ethermine, Bitfly and Binance mining pools reported the reorganization. According to them all ETC withdrawal and deposit transactions have been suspended, because of the attack.

On Thursday, 6 August 2020, another attack occurred. The value is not yet known. However, with the US $ 23.44 block reward on Ethereum Classic, the attacker will likely have pocketed around US $ 93,760.

Coindesk:

Quote

This fresh attack to Ethereum Classic’s network follows on from a recent attack that occurred between July 29 and Aug. 1, according to blockchain analytics firm Bitquery.

While Ethereum Classic developers initially said the network did not suffer from a reorganization or a 51% attack in that previous attack, Bitquery said Wednesday that an attacker double-spent a little over 800,000 ETC (about $5.6 million), and paid about 17.5 BTC ($204,000) to acquire the hash power for the attack.

Mining pool Ethermine’s parent entity Bitfly and crypto exchange Binance reported the reorganization, announcing all Ethereum Classic payouts, withdrawals and deposits had been suspended due to the attack.

The monetary value of Thursday’s 51% attack in terms of the double spends is not yet known. However, at $23.44 per block reward on Ethereum Classic, the attacker has most likely earned $93,760 from block rewards alone.

You should consider posting more evidence here, posting screenshots about your interactions with customer support by hiding your username would even work.

They seem to be selectively scamming customer's as per incidents reported with them previously here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5247157.0.

Even after receiving full KYC from the customers they have locked the fund's in some cases. They have an extremely unfriendly customer service as per I can see.
97  Economy / Services / Re: [For Hire] I will help you gather information on any US adult on: August 18, 2020, 06:28:01 AM
Doxxing is discouraged on this forum if you don't know. It is also an coward practice overall, so you should find some other place for your services.

Posting personal information is only allowed in investigation section of the forum, that too if the person is accused of some highly risky scam.
98  Other / Meta / Re: [suggestion][userscript] show user summary when click on the username on: August 18, 2020, 03:37:14 AM
Nice one! Question is how do I set it in my browser?

You can install it by using any userscript manager available for your preferred browser. For example you can use Tampermonkey for Chrome browser. One could easily find userscript manager plugins for most of the browser's out there to manage any script inside the browser itself.

What if we could apply a similar idea for Reply instead of opening a new page to Reply ?

This sounds more fun and user-friendly. I think you should go with a pop up reply option @0x256 ( nice name ).
99  Other / Meta / Re: [suggestion][userscript] show user summary when click on the username on: August 17, 2020, 03:01:10 AM
If you are trying to pop up the user information when clicked on the username, the thread title should be like "pop up user summary when click on the username".

Btw, usually clicking on the username leads to the same details on the profile information page, so can't see any major difference in your script.
100  Economy / Reputation / Re: Question for OGNasty on the missing 2,600 BTC on: August 15, 2020, 02:55:36 AM
He just bought an villa with some bikini girls free with it. Whatever he did doesn't matter to you or anyone else other than an investor himself, also I don't think anyone here complaint about it then.

You are a totally different person in PM.   Consider our discussions for game programming to be null and void.  I don't want anyone on my team who thinks it's OK to steal if no one notices.

I am the same person being polite and friendly, but rather I think you are a bit different person in PM than here really. We didn't discuss anything solid about work, so I already considered it void.

I don't think it's ok to steal if no one notice it, rather I am against such shitty thing. But here OG didn't stole anything, nor the investor's complaint about it anywhere. You have better chances working with something more creative than running behind this bullshit Vod. Maybe we could be a team.

Edit:
LFC_Bitcoin deleted his post, don't know why.
