you can What's up with the 4 billion max supply and only 100millionish in circulation?
With every new block on the blockchain there come 40 new MUE coins . so in time the amount of MUE will grow untill it reaches 4 billion. at this moment there are 120 million ( check the block explorer for an exact number ) But at the time 4 billion is reached , i will probably be dead. Just to clarify, the blocks are currently 36 MUE per block, however the remaining 4 MUE/block may be paid out for the treasury for proposal funding. As the budgeting is not yet active, the extraction is only 36 MUE/block and no superblocks for now. We hope to get the funding active soon so the average extraction will be closer to 40 MUE per block on a monthly basis: that is 36 MUE/ block with a superblock of about 246 000 MUE per month. |

Dash at $650 while BTC is at $8700 shows particular strength. This past week Dash has been outpacing Bitcoin! Fun to see the positive market reactions!
Looks like a good point to climb up past $1000 in the beginning of next year. Can’t wait for what Evolution will bring to the game in terms of user adoption and ease of use. If a user friendly Dash/Evolution where to take off in Zimbabwe, that adoption it itself could be one gigantic ignition to a Dash rocket.

Okay this is probably a total noob question, but I'd like to "buy" a share.
Can someone explain to me (or convince me) in a few sentences why I should buy a masternode share?
Differences to have a share vs hold your coins yourself: Pros to have a share: - You will receive a portion the masternode returns, currently 1/50 of the masternode payouts (as 1 share is 1/50 of the masternode collateral) which is at present time 137.2 MUE / 20.78$ per month. - Help strengthen the masternode network Pros to hold your coins: - You have your one coins in your own wallet - Can transfer them whenever you like. So that's the main differences. You are trusting your funds to the shared masternode platform, however you can sell your share and withdraw you funds within a day typically. So if you need instant access to your funds, keep them in your wallet. If you don't need to transfer them immediately, a share is a good way to get some smaller earnings with your coins. |

I worry about my next tax declaration. They will never believe you!
The worth of a Masternode is more than half a million dollar today and there is no stop.
It was 10k at begin of the year (last tax year) and remember not so long ago (3 years or so) it was just 1000 dollar!
If it makes you feel any better. There are a LOT of people here that will have to fill taxes - me being one. The closer it gets the more work I see that I'll have to do. Taxes on crypto are not hard, just complicated - lots of math.... I too have wondered if the good ole' tax-man is gonna believe me - lol To go from high-poverty/low-middle to high-middle in 2017 - quit my job in July - Cash some crypto out for the 1st time - School loans paid-in-full - Couple trips to Vegas, dropped $1K+ per day, lol - and the list goes on and on..... I believe that just being honest with everything is best. Even more so since, for some of us, we have more money than we ever thought we would have and there is no reason to put yourself into 'jeopardy' by cutting the tax-man out of the picture..... besides.... as a responsible crypto-user, you're obligated to follow the laws in your area. Each person that skirts the GUV, just gives them more reason if fuck with us all..... [steps-off-soap-box] .......................................... anywho - ramble'n on $600 by 00:01 UTC tonight? I'm going for a PLC, private limited company, to keep as much funds as possible within the company and pay out dividends.. all to cut back on the taxation. Still, better to play things safe and by the book as I do not the government to come knocking when the crypto-assets are worth a considerable amount. $600, sure why not, at $584 at the time of this post we are getting close! |

It`s amazing how Dash skyrocket from 10 dollars in August to 500$ now. And to think, one who invested 1000$, now has 50 000 dollars. That's what I call a good business model, american dream. Lets just hope Ethereum will follow his example, they were price brothers during the last 3 month.
Just because Dash is regaining some losts grounds to BTC, doesn't mean a thing about Ethereum. They aren't even really that alike as crypto projects go. I wish I had the opportunity to buy 100DASH when the price was low. I wonder too if it is still very good to invest in Dash? Does anyone maybe have some predictions for furute of Dash/news ? What about the price in the future ? Thanx
My Wife had 100 DASH years ago but because we had no jobs back then we had to sell it. Now I bought today 1 DASH LOL and wish we still had the 100 we originally had. Never mind. I saw one advert today on Youtube about DASH and I really liked it. I wonder though is it too late to get into DASH more or do you think that say in a year from now the price can actually double or triple as a long term hold?
You should never base your investments on whatever some random people on a forum say. Read up about what's in the works for Dash and see if you agree that $1000 is in reach within the coming 6 months? Many of the long term holders would probably not bet against that anyway... |

Can i assumed that 5.9 millions coin burn are the last premine coins left? And after the coins burned completely, what's the next move of your project? Yes, the remaining 5.9 million premine coins are staged to get burnt and then we move forward with our own governance, funding and proposal works. |

Can you provide any more info about your system? Windows 7? Windows 10?
The wallet has built in sync nodes so it should sync up by itself as long as there is a working internet connection. Do you have a firewall blocking the MUE client?
Normally it takes a matter of minutes to sync up the wallet.
sure, i use windows 7 and i have set up a rule for my firewall to let MUE run. the version of the MUE client is 1.0.3.2. i also tried to reinduce the blockindex. You can try to delete the contents of the chainstate/ and blocks/ folders, restart the client and see what happens. If that too fails, then it definitely is a connectivity issue with windows. Alternatively... make a copy/backup of your whole muecore folder. Then rename the muecore folder to say mucore_old and start the client again to recreate the folder, wallet and config files etc. if things still cannot sync up, then consider turning off the Windows firewall for a test to see if the wallet can sync up, then you at least know where the problem lies. first of all, thanks for helping me. unfortunately none of above is working. even if i turn off my firewall the wallet is not connecting to the network. could it be some router issues? I like mue and the project right time the price doesn't reflect the project it's very low right now looking to add to my stash of mue
Very bad time for altcoins as a whole . We need to wait for better times and then I wouldn't be surprised to see it moving close to 1$ You are right the price is low now for a few months, it was around 16 cents, so now is a good time to buy that's what I'm doing an also mining. the highest I have ever seen MUE get is 22 cents but at that point the coin is still under valued its a great project.
