81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 12, 2023, 06:13:13 PM
If you are not sure of the future of bnb and it is not an amount you can afford to lose, I would suggest you sell it and invest in btc which is the safest investment you can make in this space without having any fear.
bnb and Binance are centralized projects something you may want to consider when making that long-term decision. Every investment involves risk but with btc investment, the risk level reduces a lot compare to alternative crypto like bnb. However, the decision is yours to make.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is here to stay on: January 12, 2023, 06:07:05 PM
This is like telling some of us what we already know, this question and answer should be directed to those newcomers to the btc network. Most of them have a short-term view on btc so this type of answer will give them closure and perhaps reduce their level of panic. I want to believe the first 3 years of btc existence were the hardest and biggest challenge, after btc was able to survive those trying years, the question of whether btc will stay or burst (as some people like to describe it) should be out of the picture. There is no doubt btc has come to stay.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Artificial Intelligence on Ethereum and the danger of a AI without limitations on: January 11, 2023, 09:51:02 PM
...
A friend in discord actually speculated the account itself is AI created “AI Mother”. This is some really scary stuff.
...

interesting, it seems that AI (at least this "artistic AI") is also able to ... join airdrops!

complete tasks and other actions, like an human Roll Eyes a real human being
is this another kind of proof this is an AI? it seems that AI like bounties for new coins? Grin

well, I think that ... there is no AI behind this address and there are zero proofs Wink or suspect those NFTs are created by an AI. Probably this topic is just a lame tentative to publicize some unknown NFTs overpriced (75 eth!)

It's something "impossible" you and your friend get aware about it, since there are tons and tons of other NFT (why just this one should be create by AI and declare itself as an AI?)  Roll Eyes

Couldn't agree more, since there are bots already acting on behalf of their creator participating in airdrops and campaigns, it should be similar to whatever AI present in the ethereum network according to OP.
It Couldn't be more than doing similar task even if at all there are any, am not sure why the op sound like doomsday around the corner with this information.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my mistake, these people aren't playing on: January 11, 2023, 09:41:52 PM
Well it is not surprising to see that the fake project has nothing to do with the original OpenAI project.  This is what some of this scammers do, they will take advantage of the popularity of a particular name brand to scam people by creating similar name project.
It is important investors do as much digging as they can when investing to uncover any hidden information that will protect their investment.
Scammers can go any length to fool investors.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: January 10, 2023, 06:30:24 PM
~If history repeats itself, then it's likely BTC will go to the moon by 2024 (when the next block reward halving will occur).

It is not a question of "IF" buy When history repeats itself. From the history of previous ath, btc has always create new records hence the same will happen come 2024.
According to some information online, the accumulation of btc keeps increasing, even the number of non custodian wallet holding btc keeps raising, which means the btc supporters are strongly accumulating which can only result to one result - Mega ATH. Wink
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Live Bitcoin radio broadcast with My Local Community as the presenter on: January 10, 2023, 06:17:43 PM
This is another great means of spreading btc awareness to the public. Here where I reside, I have heard such btc related programs on radio few occasions and I usually listen to see what I can benefit from the topic. I think you did a great job doing this, am sure some people have already gain knowledge about btc from your presentation. Kudos.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property is real on: January 09, 2023, 03:46:52 PM
....The world is running low on food, there is no enough food for two guy, one guy of the two has to die, while one other guy survive.

Am not sure what is happening in your location but from where am located, there is still enough food for everyone to eat despite the tough economic situation. No one needs to die for another to eat.  The only problem some of the people are facing is laziness to work in other to earn a living. The economy is bad we understand, but some people are only looking for a flamboyant life, trying to leave above their capacity. Imo, it all depends on how hardworking a person can become.

88  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property is real on: January 08, 2023, 02:55:27 PM
Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property although is just concrete but it is real.

Fiat maybe bs but you need it in other to be able to buy your desired property, without fiat your property talk is also bs because nobody will listen to you.
Even after acquisition of the property, fiat still plays a significant role when it comes to earning from that property except it is for personal usage, so before looking at all the fiat flaws also look at it's importance in our present economy.

As much as people despise fiat, they still work very hard to earn it, Elon is no exception. Isn't that an irony  Cheesy
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: January 08, 2023, 02:40:53 PM
Some posts above Bitstar_coin showed, that during last 3 halvings Bitcoin price did not show any major changes. At previous halving, a lot of people expected Bitcoin price to skyrocket, but the significant price change started after Elon Musk tweets. This time the world economy is in tricky situation, and Elon Musk shows low interests in crypto, so instead of huge price changes, I would expect no huge price changes at all.

And btw, you say "new ATH after each halving" - there was never a new ATH after halving. Bitcoin had ATH 1-2 years after halving.

How can you confidentiality associate Elon Musk to the reason why btc experience any significant growth? Am a bit shocked at your response.
Btc has done consecutive ath before there was ever Elon Musk and his mediocre tweets. And believe it or not, btc will record yet again another ath in the coming bull circle without him.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: How do cryptocurrencies affect Global Economy? on: January 07, 2023, 06:57:53 PM
Amidst all this CBDC talk how many countries out of those who have publicly announced their launch are actually actively using it? because here in my country, it all ended up in the news only, a piece of forgotten news so far.
Regarding the OP, I would say it is the reverse, the economy affects cryptocurrency rather when the economy is in favorable condition crypto investment increases the most. But the only way I think crypto can affect the economy is when government regulations kick in and there is a tax to be paid by the crypto users.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace - We all should read it on: January 07, 2023, 06:46:20 PM
I found Anarchism very wrong for human practice, imagine a room filled with children for instance, what would you think would happen without the presence and control of an adult? The same applies to human society, how smoothly will people co-exist without any violence breaking out?

"You do not know us, nor do you know our world" this sound ridiculous, government are not alien, they didn't fall from the sky either, they are part of the society they govern, born and raised in various community before holding any public office so how is this statement correct? Try to picture the whole world without any governing authority.  Cheesy
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dev is not your friend, so be careful. on: January 06, 2023, 07:31:13 PM
New projects are quite risky. Yes there are chances that you can earn a lot from a private series but it will depend on how promising the project are. Anyway theres a lot of factors to do and thats gonna be crucial when investing. $10 or $1k there is no difference but that will still be at risk, but gaining profits are also can be considered.

You need to have a lot of researches before putting any money on it.

Nowadays people (trader's especially) don't rely on promising projects or trusted dev team to earn good profits. All they need is the right tool to navigate and make their daily profits.
In other words, there are different approaches to achieve one's goal, good dev or not, all that is required is the right knowledge.
After these recent ugly events that occur in the crypto space, I trust on dev team reduces drastically.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Example of Not your Keys Not your coins on: January 06, 2023, 07:14:43 PM
Maybe if there were simplified version of these terms and conditions it will make it much easier for investors to be able to read. Of course it is a thing of concern when you agree to terms you are not able to read. The best way to address this issue is to stop storing money on exchange. Store your funds on exchange only if you are able to read the T & C and understood it.
I don't know why terms and conditions are so lengthy anyways  Cheesy
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know one can make millions with Launchpads? on: January 05, 2023, 06:05:43 PM
Depending on the launchpad and the type of projects the launch, and also your tier matters alot when it comes to allocation. So don't expect to be in tier 1 with a $10 allocation for instance and hope to make millions out of it.
Anyways, your post is more shilling AdLunam than bringing facts on how launchpad can make someone millions.
Many launchpad who came into the market during this past bull circle are almost dead because of the bear market and no significant projects to launch.  Apply caution to avoid losses.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 05, 2023, 04:51:52 PM
Any smart early investor in this project should be thinking about dumping it now before the whales will do so, otherwise it is going to be a painful experience because no doubt this will be dumped really hard. Shitcoins like this are only meant for quick profit. It will be foolish for anyone to think of buying this meme coin at 900% up.
96  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing, and still very broke.why? Is it spiritual? on: January 04, 2023, 08:04:44 PM
I sit-down to wonder why traders who are consistent in trading and also investing still remain very broke despite the effort they put to erradicating poverty, but it still seems like there is some sort of unforseen and spiritual forces controlling the physical.Or should it be foundational curse from the forefathers affecting the present circumstances?or is it that the poverty is inherited? Or is it a gene or chromosome?.These are questions that that I tend to ask.

There is no spiritual forces that's can hinder profit if the trader can actually trade. Perhaps those people who are your point of reference don't know exactly what they are doing.
I don't know how many traders you have come in contact with or how you come to this conclusion but what I do know is - there are many traders put there profiting from their trade.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The founder of Clucoin just quit after admitting to have gambled investors fund on: January 04, 2023, 07:55:57 PM
Such news will only make investors to lose confidence in crypto even more especially with new projects. How can a founder be so reckless with little or no concerns about investors funds. Is this going to be the norm now with new alts projects?
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new projects that introduce new Stable coins on: January 03, 2023, 04:05:33 PM
Be sure to understand how a Stable coin is designed before storing your assets using them, most stable coins have failed since last bear market season, from USDN to UST and USN, there are many more that I don't mentioned.

Some new projects will come as whatever they like, either DeFi or Smart contract and they will introduce new Stable coin, be careful, in fact I don't see any reason why you should keep your dollars using a new Stable coin when we have USDT, USDC, DAI and BUSD..

Centralised or Decentralised you can just make a pick from USDC , USDT, DAI or BUSD

Absolutely, the important part is to use a known stablecoin with some level of security (none of them can be considered 100% safety but they are less riskier than a complete new project).
Better to be safe than sorry, it is better to leave it on fiat than lose it on worthless stablecoin.
99  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does money bring you security ? on: January 03, 2023, 04:00:13 PM

Well, it is a fact that money buys a lot of things that we both need and want. Nobody can deny material possessions give us comfort and joy in most times. However, it is really a question whether money brings you a feeling of security. In my experience, a lot of rich people are living in anxiety and fear. Before they got rich, all efforts and endeavours were taken most of their life and time but after they reached where they are now, insecurity and anxiety take control of their life. Have you ever thought about this ? Please share your thoughts.

If you look at it from a more wider perspective, money can make you feel both secure and insecure at the same time.
If you have money, you some how becomes a target from the bad guys out there, on the other hand, with money you can afford to move from an unsecured environment to a more secure one.
Money can solve both situations depending on your approach.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We have been told: Invest only Extra money in bitcoin on: January 02, 2023, 04:35:05 PM
~Even rich people don't just invest because they can afford to lose their money but they risk their money because they want to grow it, not to lose them.

Very true, I doubt there is any rich person out there that is not concerned about even the little investment they made, the goal of investment is to making profit, no businessman will intentionally invest to lose. Every investment involves risk, reason why the risk takers are often ahead of those playing it safe.
