Thank you for your help. But damn it, upon close inspection of the records the recovery passphrase is password protected. My mistake, now I dont know what password I set on the recovery phrase.

so you never wrote down the seed?
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Universal-Wallet] Coinomi (BIP44 compatible) on: June 28, 2018, 06:05:25 PM
Aaah, what is this for crap app?

I could do 2 or 3 small transactions (and they say Error at first) but after I keep trying they gone trough.
After this I cannot do any transaction anymore... Tried over 100 times now
Cash emptied, new resync, create new wallet import seed, NOTHING...

I read I lot more people have this issue. How can I get my coins moving?

When you say "NOTHING" you mean it doesn't show your balances?

Jaxx uses the same seed algo.

But, what coin is it? Sounds more like network issues than wallet issues.

Why cant we claim Stellar from old Bitcoin addresses anymore?

Because it's past time for the program. It was open for quite a while.

I have been dealing with Stellar since some days. I realized the big gap between circulating and maximal supply of Lumens. I know all coins are premined and the non-circulating coins are hold by the foundation. How is it planned to distribute the remaining coins?

I believe the answer is the auctions.

Yet still.no real price movement.  Unlike Golem which was up 60% when Binance listed.
Strange how these things work.

I prefer a steadily growing price rather than the wide swings you see in other coins. The biggest reason many companies don't use Bitcoin is due to the price volatility.

This is the first time I have this problem I sent a bunch of other coins to this wallet with no problem but with BTC it's grayed out and now I'm getting worried.

Not sure what you mean by "grayed" out. You mean because the tx isn't confirmed yet? If you look at your address at blockchain.info does it show the correct balance and transactions?

As long as you have your seed it's not too much of an issue. Several wallets use the same seed method. I know the Jaxx wallet does and I'm pretty sure Electrum does as well.

Your "coins" aren't in the wallet, your keys are. Your coins are on the blockchain.

One of my fav coin with all the potential and team to perform. Its just bad timing for alt crytos.Hope they have an Airdrop Soon.

I hope they don't. Giving away coins dilutes their value.

what is the fee to withdrawal bitcoin?

There are no fees other than the miner fees for whatever blockchain you are using.

I have a Stellar wallet on my Ledger Nano S and I want to buy some SureRemit tokens.  Problem is that the wallet says I have to send 1 XLM to it to create the account.  Can I send SureRemit tokens to the wallet to create it or does it have to be XLM?  What is the best exchange to buy a tiny amount of XLM for minimum fees?

If anyone is interested, I can send a $1.00 USD Eth payment to you in exchange for 1 XLM.

Send me your Stellar Pub Address and I'll send you 1 XLM. I'll trust you to donate the $1 to a worthy cause.

Wow....enjin 2nd biggest crypto loser on the day....red all day and probably all night

It wasn't the only one in the red.

It IPOed for under $.03 and it's $.18 and I post this.

I think some people have expectations of coins going 10x to 100x in a few months and when it doesn't, they all start to complain and/or worry. Why didn't you sell when it was $.50?

Before 2018 ending
True or false?

Correct. It is true or false.

No one really knows but I'm sure we all have an opinion about it.

How is this coin extracted?
PoS or PoW?

It is PoS like. But it isn't called PoS by the Stellar network.

Enjin Coin Manifesto

Our mission is to bring fairness and purpose to gaming.

Our gaming lives are not our own.

We’re bound by rules made by others.

We are told there is a natural order to virtual worlds, and that those who try to upend it do not fare well.

We’re told that corporate and individual greed is the way things are, and will remain until the end of times.

We are told that no matter what we do, it will never amount to more than a single drop in a limitless ocean.

What is an ocean, but a multitude of drops?

The gaming industry has been corrupted by both malicious players and profit-hungry corporations.

Gaming franchises that used to seize our imaginations have been ruined by the endless stream of poor game design choices fueled by shareholder’s greed.

What used to be an immersive artform is slowly devolving into an endless sequence of limited-time offers, rotten loot boxes and worthless microtransactions designed to squeeze every last drop out of our wallets, making us pay for things we do not own.

Games we play became plagued by the scourge of scammers and hackers that do not care about experiencing imaginary universes, making friends or having fun — their only goal is to make a buck by stealing what was never really ours.

Our gaming lives are not our own — they are chained to centralized, cloud-powered servers, where all the things we worked so hard to build can disappear in an instant of someone else’s selfishness or incompetence.

We dare to dream about a better world.

We want to reignite the spark of creativity that lies in every game developer’s heart, extinguished by years of battling with game monetisation models fueled by greed and monopolies.

We want to help them explore new technologies that can shatter the chains that have kept them beached for so long — and give them the tools and knowledge they need to discover new lands.

We want to unite gamers and game developers under a single banner, so they can become an ocean that will obliterate the old, corrupt structures of the gaming industry — and reshape it into an art form that is made fair and revolutionized by new technologies.

We dream of a world where gamers are unshackled and unbound from a single digital reality, free to roam a myriad of gaming universes while taking their characters and items with them — safely kept inside their own, impenetrable digital vaults.

Actually owning the virtual items they earned or paid for.

A world where gamers are rewarded based on skill, merit, talent and creativity — not on mindless, AI-powered grinding, deceit and forced pay-to-win models.

Where game developers can build new worlds that benefit themselves and gamers at the same time. Where the architects of virtual realities that choose ethics, message and innovation over greed end up being rewarded with player loyalty and support.

Where games played by millions are those that teach us about being human, that explore new game mechanics, enrich our minds and make us feel joy. That help us learn about key subjects like the nature of consciousness, logic, ethics, science, philosophy, art and history.

Our mission is to bring fairness and purpose to gaming.

To enrich gamers experiences, protect them from malicious players and enable them to truly own their items and characters. To help game developers utilize ethical monetisation models that do not prey upon human psychology, but are powered by intrinsic value. To aid them in their quest to discover, explore and create new genres of games that have art at their very core.

That is the truth of Enjin Coin.

very good marketing strategy for enjin I must say, I've seen enjin ads on Facebook and Instagram, and some other major websites, am so happy to have gotten in as early as the preico period

Way too long for most millennials, which is probably most of the market.
99  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: iOS Bread Wallet on: February 06, 2018, 04:12:26 PM
Does anyone have any advice on what to do with our situation? We have BTC in Bread but it keeps resyncing, constantly and never actually completely/ crashing before the sync completes.

Have updated the app, deleted it, been trying to resync for one week. Have contacted support, keep telling us to reinstall, delete, resync and the same issue is constantly happening.

Have tried to access the BTC through Electrum too but that doesn't work. Set it up on other devices to try that.

Nothings working and our BTC is stuck in Bread. Any ideas or other ways anyone can suggest? Has anyone had similar issues?

Your coins aren't in bread, they are in the blockchain.

Go here https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ follow the offline usage instructions. Run it on an air gapped PC and get your PK. Import them into some other wallet.

Bread wallet uses a different derivation path than other wallets that use BIP44. See here for info you need to use the BIP39 decoder to get your private keys. https://github.com/voisine/breadwallet-ios/issues/131  You know you have the right derivation path when the public addresses the tool determines are the same as your bread wallet is showing.

Wow, amazing coin.

Anyone can explain for me about this :?

"Anchors, trust, and credit
Anchors are simply entities that people trust to hold their deposits and issue credits into the Stellar network for those deposits. They act as a bridge between different currencies and the Stellar network. All money transactions in the Stellar network (except the native digital currency of lumens) occur in the form of credit issued by anchors.
Anchors do two simple things:
1) They take your deposit and issue the corresponding credit to your account address on the Stellar ledger.
2) You can make a withdrawal by bringing them credit they issued.
You have to trust the anchor to honor your deposits and withdrawals of credit it has issued.
Anchors exist in the pre-stellar world now. For example, to use Venmo, you deposit money in from your bank account. Venmo then gives you credit in your Venmo account. You can now send that Venmo credit to anyone that trusts Venmo (anyone with a Venmo account). Someone that received your Venmo credit can convert it to real money by withdrawing it to their bank.
Anchors perform the same function in Stellar. The difference is, all the "Venmos” and other anchors are operating on the same network so they can all transact with each other now – this makes the system way more powerful. People can now easily send and exchange all these different anchor credits with each other."

What don't you understand? It seems pretty clear. Did you have specific questions?
