As always its the first sunday. The problem is my ISP has major problems with my internet connection. So I hope to finish this tonight or latest tomorrow when internet is back on. (Can't do it on mobile) What are the BTC and NXT dividend percentages please? |

Poloniex is great for first mover advantage on listing technical coins, they were first to host Eth, XMR, XEM to name a few of the oddball codes theyve worked in. if people reach out they should be interested enough to incorporate Factom onto their trading platform.
I'm pretty sure shapeshift is a frond end for exchanges. So, if there aren't any exchanges supported the coin, they won't be able to implement it. |

I have a problem sending GEMZ to Exchanges.Firstly is it possible from App? I Tried to create a qr code with Bittrex address,but now whenever i click send i get a popup telling me invalid qr data,but the address is correct. Here is a picture of my error that dont want to allow me to send even to any friends like normal.  yes it's possible, i did send to poloniex a while ago and it worked, i also just sent btc from the app to bitmex and is pending, don't know about your issue tho. I Reinstalled and it gone ,but if i click send GEMZ i get BTC .I have never been abled to send out of App since i got it.I would like to know how you send to poloniex though. Or how do i get a GEMZ address to clipboard would also work Yeap!! its 100% possible. i have done it a few times a few days ago. sent to both Bittrex and Poloniex exchanges. both works. But i didn't try the QR Code method. So i wont know if that works or not. i did the Address method. Here is how it went for me: 1) i copied-and-paste the GEMZ address from the exchange to Facebook by PM-ing myself 2) then i use my smartphone, open FB Messenger App and copied the exchange address (make sure no spacing, before and after address). 3) open GETGEMS App, 'Send GEMS' and 'Paste Address from clipboard'. key in amount to send DONE! then wait for roughly 2 hours to receive the GEMZ in exchange. The qr code method is the easiest, u just scan and bam, done. poloniex doesnt have qr tho, but i did with btc and it was so easy. I send the gemz address to my fb aswell and use my smartphone to opy that address and past it into the app. So all fine. You can easily get a QR code for a BTC/Counterparty address. Just go to blockchain.info, copy the address into the search box and press enter. |

Why is factom worth almost 10x the IPO price? Supply and demand. Few people are selling and some buyers are expecting a huge bubble shortly after exchanges pick up FACT. It's not a crazy idea, since that's usually what happens with a high profile new tradeable asset. Got it. I'm not looking for a day trading situation. I'll wait until the initial bubble and crash and pick some up at a decent price that I can HODL. (Yes, probably should have bought in the IPO, but wasn't in the right place when it was open). |

Does anyone even use XCH at this time. Im considering utilizing it to help raise some additional capital for a distribution business i am working on. I prefer XCH and VIA for its speed over XCP and BTC, as well as the notary. Before it can even get to be on a level playing field with XCP we need successful projects that are utilizing it. I guess my main concern would be, if i launch an asset that will also distribute a portion of profits to holders am i really going to get the exposure i need as the user base is probably quite small? I am prepared to do alot of outside promotion in order to make the asset launch successful. Would love to hear feedback I personally don't think it matters that much if you launch on Counterparty or Clearinghouse. You are going to have to market your offering correctly. The means people use to obtain the asset isn't going to be a make or break item. For example, you could use any platform to launch, accept Bitcoin or US$, I think how you launch the assets is mostly secondary. Although, there is a concern of liquidy. If you are paying dividends IN Via and people can't convert that to Fiat very easily they might ask for a different dividend disbursement method. It would be nice to see some development on Clearinghouse... a BTC to Via gateway would be something that might help. But, it seems like no one really cares about this coin. It's a shame, it seems to have some solid ideas and a good network behind it. |

It would be dumb to sell now. This coin will have a lot of hype one day. I assume the people behind the scenes will be paying all of the well known magazines to write positive articles on factom.
I will trade it for BTC anonymously once it gets on poloniex with 500 or more BTC volume in a day.

Factom is centralized garbage. I got tricked into buying this from some guy at a conference. Now I understand "early-investors" of projects pay conferences to send their sock puppets to talk at the event and promote their public crowdsale or future investment rounds.
Factom deceived me with the word "federated" which actually means centralized.
Could we get this thing on poloniex yet? They have many other XCP tokens listed. I really want to dump this before everyone else realizes this was a bad idea and dumps.
My understanding is that Factom is not a counter party token. If it were you could just sell it in counterwallet. |

I'm on the payout list, but didn't recieved any nsc. What do I have to do to recieve the nsc ? You have to forge blocks. Although, NSC has ZERO buy support. It seems like the founders and wales have abandoned it. Or, since they are forging most of the blocks anyway no one cares about NSC. Now payments are in MS currency NSC. There is exchange offer for 2.1 NXT per NSC. I guess my obscure three NSC assets will just have to stay as they are for posterity. |

What do you guys/girls think is the safest way to store my Gemz: Poloniex, Bittrex, or Counterparty online wallet?

Answer number one: NOT on an exchange. (polo, bitrex) The safest way is a Paper Wallet. Is there a Counterparty offline wallet? If so, that's probably safest. I store my in Counterparty.io wallet which is essentially a brain wallet. |

How is this better than a straight up escrow? You take 2x the chances of a shipping issue. Why not use an escrow to hold coins while the other party ships. Also it requires 2x the trust of the escrow here.
What? One party holds the BTC and the coin/gold and once has both releases them to buyer/seller. What is 2x risk about that? I assume it would work like this. Joe decides to sell Pilot (me) a .1 ounce of gold for $95. Escrow agent (Anon) tells me to remit BTC to him. Once it's received he tells Joe to send him gold. Once that is received Anon sends Joe the BTC and Pilot (me) the gold. That is "straight up escrow." |

They're working on it. http://counterparty.io/news/counterparty-update-mar-13/I think you have to be running the counterparty daemon locally to use it though. The web based wallet works fine. |

Sure. If you want to send me 59 cents I wont object but otherwise It's a pretty inconsequential amount to pay to get this thing started. Remember the seller will be sending the XAU to me and ill be forwarding it to you. In order to prevent anyone from needing to trust anyone (except me). Right, so I guess I don't get how that would normally work. The seller sends you the gold so they are paying for a stamp. Then, you forward it, sending him the bitcoin. Are you expecting me to send an extra $.60 cents to you, or are you going to deduct the money from the BTC you send the other party? I guess I'm not sure how you normally expect it to work. I would guess any normal fee you charge would cover the small amount of postage. |
