It's just impossible to download a full node, same problem as Ethereum.
On chain scaling has been proved to be impossible. ^
This shows why we need small blocks and a second layer for scaling.
unlike ethereum byteball has no blocks Sure, but it still has a chain of transactions which has become so massive that a full node can't be downloaded on a desktop computer. it depends on your connection speed, I think most full nodes use remote servers Actually, it mainly depends on your drive. Even with a fiber optic internet connection, if you don't have an SSD, then syncing just gets insanely slow at some point. If you want a full node, you must use an SSD.

... a new distribution method that rewards people that are social ...
Maybe it would be nice to consider (if it hasn't already been considered) distributing blackbytes as well. I agree it needs more work and that they might be dumped but maybe it will give them some exposure.

will be great if one of the devs will answer here to clear this question marks....
Devs can not provide an answer concerning the continuation of mining on the legacy chain ... Simply put, a chain lives as long as there are people mining (on) it. A chain lives means that there is a coin. So, either the non-obelsik miners stop mining and then the legacy chain will die, or they continue mining and it will live. Obelisk miners will mine on the hard forked chain (the new main chain). Given the fact that I don't think non-obelsik miners will be willing to throw away their equipment, it's highly probable they will continue mining on the legacy chain.

There could be a new coin if a part of the community continues mining on the legacy (before the fork) chain. The fork is going to invalidate blocks mined by equipment that is currently holding ~45% of the hashrate, I don't see this mining equipment just going to trash and miners using it just accepting to throw away their now main-chain-useless miners, so in my opinion, there is a very high chance the legacy chain will be maintained hence giving birth to a new coin.
Keep in mind that, unlike , for example, Bitcoin Cash, Sia coin has very special purpose, and for that purpose team that would make new coin would also have to build software for storage network, too Otherwise they'd mine coin that noone actually needs My understanding is that the sia client version 1.3.5 will support the legacy chain, and that legacy chain users are always welcome as long as they hold siafunds. Regardless, mining a coin that no one needs wouldn't be a first, and there will always be people/bots ready to trade it as long as it's on an exchange ...

I was quick enough to send mine to Yoshit exchange and make out with around 0.015 BTC and some 200/300 DOGE Just sad for those Yobit users which paid for an useless shit token. Interesting how you seem to feel that you did a good thing selling this "useless shit token" as you say to those users who you seem to be sad about ...

When coin has been swapped already then why it is still being pumped on different exchanges ? This is really misleading to people who don't know what the previous changes or current status of coin is. Most of the people specially newcomers jump on pumping markets but here is no future as these coins are not going nowhere anymore.
just wait, there will definitely be information about it, but for bitcoin dark itself is less well-known and the price might lose The only information you could expect is that the last exchange enabling BTCD trading will hopefully disable it as it should have been done ages ago. And for newcomers, please do your own research before buying into a pump.

Thanks but he is not taking messages from newbies.
Dont understand why this is so hard to get my coins? I have my private keys. How come when I look up my address on neoscan it says zero? Is the antshares blockchain different from the neo blockchain? Damn I never read anything about having to make a claim! Am I screwed?
You can try and see if you can get any help in this discord https://discord.gg/A32uMt. Back in the ICO days, there used to be an official Antshares slack, but I don't know whether it's still active or not.

One of the most problem why people can't get merits it his own laziness. Don't strive reading interesting information about crypto currency world. But create many theat : how to get merit or give me one merit please. I don't accuse this people but if you really won't want to receive merit , you shouldn't think about it and just be useful and friendly for another members.
Highly appreciated your to to compose the thread, but honestly it is somewhat English-broken. I don't know how you made it, Google translate or made it yourself. For any case between these twos, you should improve your thread, in grammatical aspect, in order to make them easier to understand. Yours is also a bit broken ... A thread is a collection of posts, what we each write is a post and not a thread. leoneltouhidul1 probably did their best (I guess), and for what it's worth I do understand what they wrote. They probably know they have to improve their English as you probably also do, no need to advise (you) on that I guess. Furthermore, your above thread did not show anything new because such boring recommendation repeatedly quoted, posted in the forum since January.
The same could be said about your post and maybe about mine. I just can't help replying when I see the pot calling the kettle black.

After quite a long time I now syncing my wallet again but my wallet is stuck in the 479167 blocks and I have 4 to 6 connections and have added all the nodes provided in this thread, do you have an existing database here so I can replace mine, thank for those who will reply.
No existing database that I know of. Last time my wallet got stuck, I had to sync the entire blockchain from scratch using a new wallet, then once it finished, copy wallet.dat and finally run checkwallet and repairwallet.

From this moment on, noone will look for news. There are many fundamental reasons why all alt coins will rally. More importantly, sia has a solid product, great value proposition, utility based coin, extremely under-priced....easily 20-40-60 cents.
Easily 20 cents? That means that SIA should have bigger market cap than the #4 - Bitcoin Cash cryptocurrency Do you even know how to calculate potential growth or you are just talking out of your ...? Don't even wanna mention the "easy" 60 cents price for this coin lmao For this coin to cost even 2.5 cents, the market cap should be more than ADAs MC, which I dont think we would see at any point in the near future. Stop talking BS and luring people with false hopes. I don't know if this will happen someday but you are not taking into account the growth of the whole crypto market in general. It is quite obvious that if SC reaches 20 cents, the whole market would've recovered and a majority of the mainstream coins would've gone up in prices. So no, SC going to 20 cents doesn't mean its mcap will be more than BCH (or any other coin whose mcap is higher today), because there is a high chance its mcap will also go up. It doesn't make sense to compare the potential-growth mcap of a coin with the current mcap of another (unless you are sure this other won't go up/down anymore, which is impossible).

Sorry everyone, I certainly missed a thing, but I was JR Member and now went back to newbie with 127 posts ?
You certainly did miss it. A post with a link to the newbie restrictions thread is just two posts above yours (yes two), is the first of this page, is in several posts in the previous page and finally in the first post of this thread as a bolded update ... Can someone explain me why, and what should I do now ?
Now read the new restrictions and you'll understand why and what you should do (hint: wait for someone to give you a merit).

Don't worry...with Xaurum is everything ok...very soon comes Xaurum 3.0 some really interesting things will come out. Why there is silence....because they won't make any promises for the future...when they gona delivered you will know officialy. Wait for next few weeks and you will see.
No worries really. And not looking for (empty/false) promises. Just a couple of questions that remained unanswered, I don't mind if the answer is "we don't know", it's better than nothing and shows that they care about what people say on this thread. Your questions are? Maybe I can give you an answer. Here they are: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3110765.msg38279809#msg38279809: Back in the early days, there were discussions about reopening the Goldmine (mining cryptocurrencies other than Xaurum and exchanging them for Xaurum). Is there any update on that? Thank you.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3110765.msg43713245#msg43713245: There are multiple milestones in the roadmap that are upcoming in 2018. Is it possible to have more info about their progress? Thank you.
Thank you.

whether an account like me can still get merit, and how. Please help.
Well, it highly depends on whether you continue posting as you are doing now or try and post constructive stuff. I mean, (literally) all of your posts are tweets and facebook links, nobody will ever merit those posts. I'd like to believe that you probably can engage in discussions in your local board and/or (improve your English to) engage in English boards discussions. You can also take a look at merit stats https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats to get an idea about merited posts and maybe get inspired. Having said that, you probably should just forget about it and use the forum for what it's actually supposed to be used for: Discussing cryptocurrency related matters with your fellow human beings.

Considering that i can't use bittrex as they require verification, what is the best exchange where i can buy gbyte?
You can use cryptox.pl. It's been a long time since I used it but it was pretty dependable back in the days, it probably still is (no complains as far as I know). The only issue is that the volume is relatively low.

There are multiple milestones in the roadmap that are upcoming in 2018. Is it possible to have more info about their progress? Thank you.
The 'roadmap' leads to the edge of a cliff, and at the bottom is a graveyard of hundreds of shit ICO's I don't know what to think since the Xaurum guys don't answer what seem to be valid questions. It surely doesn't help in keeping/acquiring users ... That's because they have all run off with the money idiots were stupid enough to send to them - think about it, someone creates a website and then asks people to send them money promising to store gold for them - they must be all laughing their heads off. Since they don't seem to be inactive (last connection of Aurum Project was Sept the 1 st), I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, not that it really changes anything ... Anyway, we'll see how this works out.

What happened to BitcoinDark appreciating so strongly today? Regardless of the reasons, when this happened in the past, we started the bull market and the same happened with Bitcoin Plus... Why are you voting?
I asked same but nobody didnt reply. There is no reason, pumpers and dumpers playing that's all. The development team has officially abandoned BTCD, as long as nobody is working on it and as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't seem wise to buy it.

Have in mind that all these rises in price of NEO and GAS is mostly because of NEX ico. When ICO round 1 and afterwards round 2 finishes, don't be surprised to see price declining. Also NEX team will probably want to offload some of their 25 million USD in NEO and make a downward trend.
If they sell some of their gathered funds, maybe they will try and do it OTC before going to exchanges.
