BTW. C-cex already Added the Coin to its Exchange. I don't think there is any Concern Remains.

Sorry but I think all the concerns remain. On the first thread run by doctor877, I wrote this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1639634.msg16524681#msg16524681:

In my opinion, this coin being listed on c-cex, the dev (or their representatives) having contacted c-cex (or not), c-cex approving the code, the dev being somehow renowed, the address having 50, 100 or 1000 BTC seem all irrelevant to establish trust within the community.

To me, what seems relevant is:
- A reputable escrow (even though it seems projects turned out to be scams even with that).
- A code base (a github account).
- A technical (white) paper.

For the time being, none of what I mentioned above seem to be satisfied (please correct me if I missed something).

Here are examples of recent crowdsales on c-cex:
https://c-cex.com/?p=xmo-btc
https://c-cex.com/?p=ncl-btc

(Check the sell orders and draw your own conclusions.)

I am not saying this project will turn out like those ... These are just examples of projects that lacked escrow, code and a technical paper.

Can you please address my concerns?

By the way we didn't get any statement from doctor877 about what really happened, moreover you have a trust feedback that says:

will it be possible to claim from multisig address?

Of course, nothing special about multisig addresses.

I think we've got our first whale Smiley. Well not sure they're the first, at least the first who seems to express interest in the project publicly and who is very likely to hold many BTCs when the snapshot takes place. (not that I mind, the more the merrier Smiley.)

SCAM

Does this mean your account has been hacked? Sold then rebought back? Or do you simply admit being the scammer Smiley?
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: October 12, 2016, 12:38:01 PM
It is true that I paired my devices when one of them was off-line, however, now that device1 is online, nothing has changed. I was wondering if this could've happened because I mistyped the pairing code ... (well I copy/pasted it so that's not very likely, but you never know).

To check that, did you try to pair again?
Also, can you chat between the two devices?

Didn't try pairing again, might do that in the near future.
Nope I couldn't chat between them. Only device2 displayed a new paired device named New (which is supposed to be device1), messages sent to New were never received by device1.

On the mobile wallet I have two issues:
- When the wallet is synching, the blackbytes screen overlaps on the bytes screen, it comes on top of it then goes back then comes up ....
Not sure I get what you mean.  If you could do a screen recording, that would be helpful.

I managed to take a screenshot:
http://imgur.com/a/k0a7s

- I also did get this error once:
http://imgur.com/a/gzQ7T
I received 3 crash reports with this error.  It can theoretically happen if two copies of the app are running at the same time or some other process is trying to access the app's files.  Android should not allow this (unless the phone is rooted).  Can you remember what you were doing just before you saw this error for the first time?

My phone is not rooted and sorry I can't remember what I was doing before the error happened.

I have this error when I change the language on my phone, while the app is running:
http://imgur.com/a/ZZYjw

Also something that I find inconvenient is that even when a device is paired with another, their address are not automatically added to the address book, moreover there is no send payment button (in the chat interface).
I'm afraid there is some confusion here.  There are two types of addresses: payment address (called just address) and device address.

Device address is permanent per device, it is used for communication (including chat), devices learn each other's device addresses and public keys (just a device address is not enough) when they are paired.  Device addresses are never written into the public database.

Payment addresses are similar to Bitcoin payment addresses, we generate a new address for each payment.  The address book (available from "Send" tab) lists payment addresses, it cannot be populated when devices are paired.

There is no "send payment" button in chat because you don't know the correspondent's payment address before he generates a new address and sends it to you.  Once he does, you click the address (it is automatically highlighted) and pay.

Okay, thanks for the explanation.

1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo ICO - Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: October 11, 2016, 09:46:14 AM
Hi,

I was wondering if the pre-ICO bonuses (30% and 35%) will also be taken into account to compute the average bonus:

Another bonus system was established to counter the dilution the BTC bonus system would have for BTCD investors. The bonus is calculated by applying the average bonus the BTC investors got to the swap rate.

Example: Lets say 10000 BTC are collected and 1000 BTC in early investor bonus was taken. That means the average bonus is 10%. This would bring the BTCD swap rate to 0.005852.

Also, I assume there will be some kind of public records concerning the amounts invested and their bonuses.

Thank you.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Pre-Launch Security Contest on: October 09, 2016, 09:02:30 PM
Great, thanks for the answers

You are welcome.

while doubling my ANS would be great

Doubling? Smiley Let's be more optimistic Wink.

it would also be terrible for the team and long term development.

I'm not trying to create panic but really, big investors are clearly the ones that could ask for a refund, and since there are no partial refunds, this makes it more radical. 100-500-1000 BTC at $500-600 is not the same as $700-800 and above.

Yes I agree. Having said that, it seems the biggest investors have high hopes and seem to be friends with the team, so I don't think they'll ask for a refund. If that happens, it will indeed negatively impact Antshares' development and credibility.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Pre-Launch Security Contest on: October 09, 2016, 07:05:34 PM
Does anybody know when the refund policy ends?

It'll end by the mainnet launch, probably by the end of this month. The team said they will communicate the exact date after the end of their holidays, so I guess next week we'll have a date.

I'm worried that if Bitcoin price spikes the raised amount would be significantly lower.

The last time I asked it was around 20 BTC, maybe now it's 100 (maybe 1000). Anyway, that means more ANS for the rest of the investors. Unless the big investors ask for a refund, I personlly don't think that the refunds will do any harm ...

Also, when would we see our final ANS share?

Probably once the mainnet launches because refunds won't be possible anymore.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Pre-Launch Security Contest on: October 08, 2016, 08:16:08 PM
Allright, please check this address; AaPMBX5pvj5e8RLQbygZdpG4Nr1HSenLtT

I don't get the incorrect input message when I Verify, however when I Query I get the address not found message ... I'll ask wentao about it (in a couple of days) and I'll keep you updated.
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Pre-Launch Security Contest on: October 08, 2016, 07:56:46 PM
I'm not on slack, the members list fills up quite quickly. I could give you my ANS address, as you can't do anything with it without the privkey, right?

Yes, only the private key holder can claim ANS when the mainnet launches. With your ANS address, I can only see your investment (if it works).

I can add that earlier when I wanted to "Query" I had to press Verify after writing an address, and it would load a bit and then the Query button would light up. That does not happen anymore, I press Verify and nothing happens.

Well when I enter my address and Verify it, the Query button appears, but when I enter an incorrect address, I get the error message you specified earlier (when I click on Verify) and the Query button does not appear.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Pre-Launch Security Contest on: October 08, 2016, 06:42:05 PM
I do no longer find the address I sent btc to on the ICO list.

I see two possibilities then:
- You have the correct BTC address and there might be some technical issue preventing it from appearing in the list.
- You don't have the correct BTC address, in this case, I assume you can get it by tracing the transaction(s) you made to invest (if you invested).

Who can I email about this?

If it is a technical issue then I think it's better to contact wentao on the slack channel (if you are not on slack then if you are comfortable with giving your ANS address I can contact him for you). Or maybe antshares will read the messages and provide some help. Anyway, they seem to be on holidays for now so maybe a reply will come in two days ... and I personally don't think you'll have an issue claiming your ANS.

1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Pre-Launch Security Contest on: October 08, 2016, 05:59:21 PM
Tried with both ANS address and BTC investment address. Both gives me "Address not found". Just tried with my privkey and it says "Incorrect input, try again"

What about the list of ICO addresses, is your address listed there?

You can also go to https://www.antshares.org/ICO/HeroList which lists all the ICO addresses. Given the amount you invested, you can try to guess the page where your address might be listed (if you didn't invest, 0 addresses start from page 30), you can then search for (a part of) it and you might find out if you missed a character or two ...

Do you know of anything that could've changed (on your computer) since the last time you requested your address' page?
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Pre-Launch Security Contest on: October 08, 2016, 05:21:32 PM
Hi guys!

I can no longer query my investment on the ICO webpage. I could just a week ago but trying to today I only get the error; address not found.  Who can I email about this?

Thanks,

Works for me. Maybe just a typo or a copy-paste-mistake?

Have checked and re-checked several times, my browsing history suggests that I'm typing it right, but still shows up as "Address not found"..

It works for me too ... Do you only have your ANS address in your browsing history? Anyway, you can try going to the ICO site https://www.antshares.org/ICO/Index#Section2, click on Query Investment and enter either your ANS address, your private key or you investing BTC address to see if it gets any better.

Pbitcoin left me a negative feedback because I left them one Smiley. They say:

That's quite hilarious, anyone can check my concerns to which Pbitcoin didn't give any reply ... Moreover they are stating that they risked 10,000 BTC  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin. For that alone, this user can't be trusted ...

There seem to be some users who bought this, unless these accounts also belong to David Wilkinson, this doesn't really make sens ... Can anyone who bought this explain the reasons why they did so despite all the warnings?

By the way, my deleted message which I posted yesterday:

The First two old threads by Dave Wilkinson:
- Monero classic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1600638.
Monero classic has been renamed to Zion project.
- Zion project: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1604526.

And now this third thread by you David Wilkinson.

Can you please provide some explanation about this?

I will surely give a negative feedback for both David Wilkinson and Dave Wilkinson. I am still thinking about giving negative feedback to users who say that they have bought this, because I think their accounts also belong to Dave Wilkinson or they are supporting them in their attempt ... I mean there can't be users who ignore all the signs and buy that, can it?

Hi,

Do you plan on releasing any technical (white) paper soon? Do you have any code base? Are you planning to escrow the ICO funds?

Thank you.

At the moment we have plans

Care to share them please?

I know that generally there are no garantees with any investment especially in crypto. Having said that, there has been coins whose ICOs were launched on an exchange, the coin is pumped way too high and then plummets to 1 sat becoming a dead coin.

For the time being, there doesn't seem to be any reason for a buyer (who doesn't just want to buy at 5 sats, then sell when the pump happens) to participate in this ICO.

Hi,

Are there any plans to write/give a link to a white paper?

No offense intended, but is there any objective proof that this is not another pump and dump coin?

Thank you.
