1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum [XAUR] on: November 17, 2016, 08:44:10 AM
Does anyone know if, that in the event XAUR eventually pays dividends to holders, would these dividends be paid directly into myetherwallet ? I keep my XAUR in myetherwallet,

DD

As far as I know, there are no dividends paid to Xaurum holders. Maybe you are referring to old Xaurum which was a POS coin ...
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mass Network on: November 16, 2016, 03:35:06 PM
Agree. In a general case. That' be true for a project in an infant stage. But for us, approaching new any respectable person with the request to hold funds and make sure we're not thieves would look ridiculous. That alone would downgrade us. We do have the product (well, part of it); we are represented by people with certain history; our project does make sense (becomes obvious for whoever takes the job of reading the blue paper). Why would we need anyone to tell we're good enough instead of ourselves?

I do not question the validity of the project nor the fact that you are good enough or not. You are holding an ICO, there has been so many scams (even with escrows) that some people are now afraid to invest in anything. An independent reputable escrow might offer some kind of safety to some investors, why would you consider it downgrading?
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: November 16, 2016, 03:20:41 PM
I do all this stuff but my ant not show in wallet yet..two week it is very long time. Why?

If you already claimed your ANS then you can check the balance of your address on antcha.in, if they are there then everything is okay, your wallet just needs to sync. Here are posts by kampretkabur and CjMapope which explain what to do if you are using a desktop wallet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1571738.msg16885522#msg16885522.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mass Network on: November 16, 2016, 02:58:16 PM
There's no need for an escrow. Highly prominent people lead the project.

As far as I am concerned, prominent or not, a reputable escrow should be a no-brainer for anyone asking people for money. Not only this shows the good faith of the asker but also establishes some level of trust. Of course risk is always present and having an escrow doesn't mean risk-free, yet, I think having one is better than not having one.

Back when the project was announced, I asked about plans/white paper, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1638090.msg16483203#msg16483203, and here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1638090.msg16485237#msg16485237, and am still waiting for an answer ... Maybe when Listent logs back in, they can provide some answers ...
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: November 16, 2016, 09:16:27 AM
I don't see any rebuild database option, my wallet is synced but I don't see any balance, send/receive option, nothing, just like it was when it was not synced. There's nothing under assets either (there shouldn't be anything there though).

If I'm not mistaken, "rebuild database" option is present only in the desktop wallet, If you are using the web wallet then I think there is no such option. For the rest I don't know ...

ANC is not yet traded as far as I know.

I remember antshares mentioning that ANC was traded on some small Chinese exchange.

Have sent several messages to different contact that is involve with antshare to claim my bounty for the past 3 weeks but no response of any kind. How do I claim my bounty please before the time of claim expires. I have addresses for deposit of my bounty if requested. Kindly consider my messages and get back to me please

Did you already claimed the private key of your ANS address (From ICO)?

And what is your ans address?

Did you check the balance of your address on antcha.in?
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: November 15, 2016, 05:12:56 PM
Same thing here except that the wallet already synched but nothing really happens after that.

I haven't tried the web wallet, I see a column named Asset, maybe you can find info about your ANS there, but that is just a very wild guess.

It seems that rebulding/repairing the database is a must right now on first attempt to receive the claimed ans, a long as your balance is showing on the explorer. Create new wallet-import the privkey-close, then reopen (check the rebuild/repair menu when entering the pass) the previously created wallet database with the imported privkey from ICO/bounty should do the trick, it did for me. But i dont see this option on the web wallet. Hope it helps, dint know with MAC though

o nice! my method has been:

1: fresh sync from block one with NO wallet imported
2: create wallet, import key to it
3: "rebuild database" with wallet loaded and full synced.
4: Poof, TX appears! (and they usually have between 40k-90k confirms, so it's def a bug :/ )

Thank you guys for the how-tos Smiley. I may try one of them (or both) once my wallet syncs Wink.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: November 15, 2016, 01:57:48 PM
Thanks, have you managed to send/ recieve antshares?

You are welcome. I claimed my ANS, and I can see them on my address on the block explorer antcha.in, however I'm still waiting for the wallet to finish syncing before trying to import my private key (this'll probably take some time).
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: November 15, 2016, 01:20:33 PM
Do I need 32 bit or 64 bit?

I installed mine on a Windows 10 64 bits. It crashed two times but is (currently) syncing. I remember reading about people having issues with 32 bits Windows (and maybe some succeeded to make it work on a Windows 7 sp1 32 bits ...). So if you have the choice, I think it's better to go with a 64 bits Windows.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 15, 2016, 10:31:19 AM
The amount of bytes you receive will be proportional to the total balance of this Bitcoin address on December 25.

I assume this'll be the same bot which will be used for the real Bitcoin address linking, however seing "December 25" for the testnet linking is a bit confusing, one may think that the testing phase extends to December 25 whereas, if I'm not mistaken, it is supposed to end by the end of November.

Thanks, fixed to November 30 to avoid confusion.

You are welcome.

So, I managed to link two Bitcoin testnet addresses using the micropayment option (thx lerecidiviste for the links to the testnet online wallet and faucet Wink).

Once I linked a first address (and closed the chat window), I couldn't find a way to query the bot about the address to which the micropayment should be sent and the amount of the micropayment (so that I can link a second address). Given the fact that there is no chat history, it seems the only way to know the address and the amount is to look in the transactions history.

Guys, we'd like to know what do you think about adding Ethereum and/or other cryptocurrencies to our crowdsale?

Given the high volatility of some cryptocurrencies, what rate do you intend to apply to these cryptocurrencies? A mean? the current rate (current being undefined)? a higher rate to attract other crypto investors?

We've updated our thread, so now it should be simple to understand everything!

Yes, I find it better now, good job and thx for the effort.

Check out the post right before yours Wink. Or here it is Smiley:

I'll call on you in a week with good news.
Thanks, sir.

So we'll see what happens in a week. Let it be news and let it be very good.

So it looks like a waiting game till we get our Signiture bounties?

Well, I hope the checkings will resume soon. Once this is done, signature bounties won't be distributed right away, I remember reading that it will be done in stages starting from Q1 2017.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CROWDSALE] NODIO. A blockchain router that serves as a platform for DApps on: November 12, 2016, 08:07:51 AM
We'd like to hear your opinion, a lot of people asking us about technical details, but they are posted on our medium blog, do we need to move it here?

Yes. People are lazy

Yes I think it's better in ANN page so people can understand the whole thing better together.

Moreover, I think it helps to have all the relevant info in one place instead of scattered everywhere, it probably should be duplicated on all your social media accounts so that followers of each could find everything that is relevant in the same place.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: November 12, 2016, 07:56:14 AM
How long to wait for information from you, who participated in your signature, ?? Smiley

The answer seems to be "as long as it takes" Smiley. DECENT said that their signature campaign manager is doing the last checkings, so it seems we'll just have to wait for an official announcement once the checkings are complete.

After installing, click this link to chat with the Transition Bot". Ce lien ouvrira un chat avec le bot ds le nouveau portefeuille, suivez les instructions afin de vérifier votre adresse Bitcoin.

Vous aurez le choix entre :

Seems legit, but why only 20BTC collected, where is your ad, you need to promote your project!

Nah, 4000BTC is doing your best, not 20BTC  Undecided

One reason would be that this project still has no reputable local (from bitcointalk) escrow. Some forum users (maybe the majority) won't invest (nor get involved) unless there is an escrow they know/think is trustworthy.

Btw, all of our supporters were asking about some prototype pics, team info, and so on, we have published a lot of information about us on medium, but looks like no one is interested anymore...

Maybe they saw the info and just didn't give a feedback ... Maybe they didn't, as some of them are not on medium ... lots of maybes Smiley. If you already posted the links to your articles on medium, maybe try reposting them once in a while so that the newcomers may come across them, maybe add them to the first post, maybe post a brief summary here ... lots of maybes again Smiley.
