I do not question the validity of the project nor the fact that you are good enough or not. You are holding an ICO, there has been so many scams (even with escrows) that some people are now afraid to invest in anything. An independent reputable escrow might offer some kind of safety to some investors, why would you consider it downgrading?

If you already claimed your ANS then you can check the balance of your address on antcha.in, if they are there then everything is okay, your wallet just needs to sync. As far as I am concerned, prominent or not, a reputable escrow should be a no-brainer for anyone asking people for money. Not only this shows the good faith of the asker but also establishes some level of trust. Of course risk is always present and having an escrow doesn't mean risk-free, yet, I think having one is better than not having one.

If I'm not mistaken, "rebuild database" option is present only in the desktop wallet, If you are using the web wallet then I think there is no such option. For the rest I don't know ...

You are welcome. I claimed my ANS, and I can see them on my address on the block explorer antcha.in, however I'm still waiting for the wallet to finish syncing before trying to import my private key (this'll probably take some time).

I installed mine on a Windows 10 64 bits. It crashed two times but is (currently) syncing. I remember reading about people having issues with 32 bits Windows (and maybe some succeeded to make it work on a Windows 7 sp1 32 bits ...). So if you have the choice, I think it's better to go with a 64 bits Windows.

So, I managed to link two Bitcoin testnet addresses using the micropayment option (thx lerecidiviste for the links to the testnet online wallet and faucet ).

Once I linked a first address (and closed the chat window), I couldn't find a way to query the bot about the address to which the micropayment should be sent and the amount of the micropayment (so that I can link a second address). Given the fact that there is no chat history, it seems the only way to know the address and the amount is to look in the transactions history.

I assume this'll be the same bot which will be used for the real Bitcoin address linking, however seing "December 25" for the testnet linking is a bit confusing, one may think that the testing phase extends to December 25 whereas, if I'm not mistaken, it is supposed to end by the end of November.

Well, I hope the checkings will resume soon. Once this is done, signature bounties won't be distributed right away, I remember reading that it will be done in stages starting from Q1 2017.

Moreover, I think it helps to have all the relevant info in one place instead of scattered everywhere, it probably should be duplicated on all your social media accounts so that followers of each could find everything that is relevant in the same place.

The answer seems to be "as long as it takes" . DECENT said that their signature campaign manager is doing the last checkings, so it seems we'll just have to wait for an official announcement once the checkings are complete.

1. Téléchargez le portefeuille pour le nouveau testnet de Byteball : https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases.
Vous aurez donc 2 portefeuilles Byteball : un sur l'ancien testnet et un sur le nouveau (testnet).

2.  Rendez-vous sur https://byteball.org est cliquez sur le lien présent dans "After installing, click this link to chat with the Transition Bot". Ce lien ouvrira un chat avec le bot ds le nouveau portefeuille, suivez les instructions afin de vérifier votre adresse Bitcoin.


Vous aurez le choix entre :
a. Effectuer un micropaiement. Vous avez la possibilité de lier plusieurs adresses Bitcoin à une seule adresse Byteball en envoyant des micropaiements depuis ces adresses.
b. Signer un message. Vous signerez votre adresse Byteball avec votre adresse Bitcoin. Vous pouvez faire la même chose avec d'autres adresses Bitcoin que vous souhaiteriez lier.

En cas de micropaiement, veillez à vérifier que l'adresse depuis laquelle le bot a reçu le micropaiement est bien la vôtre.

3. Une fois la liaison effectuée, le nouveau portefeuille n'aura plus aucune utilité, gardez-le installé (sauvegardez-le si besoin). Il recevra les bytes le jour de la distribution. Si vous effectuez un paiement Bitcoin, vos coins seront probablement transférés sur une autre adresse. Chattez avec le bot afin d'examiner le solde de vos adresses liées et transférez vos coins aux adresses liées si besoin.

Cette phase de liaison de terminera fin novembre, ensuite la distribution sur le nouveau testnet aura lieu. Ceux qui auront lié leurs adresses Bitcoin testnet recevront des bytes proportionnels à leurs soldes le jour de la distribution.

Si tout se déroule comme prévu, la phase de liaison de vraies adresses Bitcoin commencera début décembre et se terminera le 25 décembre avant le lancement du livenet.

One reason would be that this project still has no reputable local (from bitcointalk) escrow. Some forum users (maybe the majority) won't invest (nor get involved) unless there is an escrow they know/think is trustworthy.

Maybe they saw the info and just didn't give a feedback ... Maybe they didn't, as some of them are not on medium ... lots of maybes .
