I apologise for any inconvenience caused. The missing blocks were indeed pos.
Since many people were complaining about the nethashrate and missing blocks i believed something shady was going on. I didn't realized pos blocks could be the "problem" atm.
We will contact c-cex and ask them to open the market again.

Amazing how many people hate on cryptsy, yet it is the most consistent, never had a MAJOR breach, and has a staff that responds to tickets quickly (at least they have with mine). Yes, the site could use an upgrade in charts, layout, etc. But I feel more secure with money in there than any other exchange.
People go with the hype Cryptsy => Poloniex => Mintpal => Bittrex Cryptsy has a very slow and clunky trading application. It's easily the worst application out of the bunch. I don't disagree that it needs updating. It isn't slow for me, trades go through almost instantly, perhaps I am lucky with my ISP speed. But is security, or speed, more important? Platform can be updated. Security breach is a deal breaker, see MintPal pre-Moolah buyout Security is important. When did Bittrex have a breach? I didn't say they have. And I hope they don't, I use them. But they are new on the block compared to cryptsy I like Bittrex the best by far. |

Sorry, but I agree with this until we have a fucking white paper or something explaining our tech. I'm sick of hearing that XC is way ahead in terms of the tech... HOW DO WE KNOW THIS IS TRUE? WHERE IS THE DOCUMENTATION OR PROOF?

RE the code review, its a balancing act IMO, there are certainly two sides, do microsoft help IBM, do apple help samsung? Not really, but when there is something in it for both parties, rivals co operate.. I guess what we at XC have to be clear on is, what are we looking to get out of these agreements, if its not want we are looking for then we should not do it, if it is, then we should....
I bow to the teams judgement on this and have to assume this is a mutually beneficial agreement.
Microsoft doesn't help IBM, but you are talking about an established industry that's fully embedded into society's daily lives. There's no longer a need for the computer and software industry to prove themselves to the public. Crypto is still a complete mystery to the public and most that have heard of crypto consider it untrustworthy. The value in Dan establishing himself as a trusted figure makes XC stand out from the crowd of crap coins. Hell, I don't even check the price of XC or this thread that much anymore. XC is by far my biggest holding and it sits in my wallet with full confidence. It's my new Bitcoin. I have so much confidence I don't feel the need to check news on XC or the price. I seriously have no idea what the price is right now. |

Please be very careful with new exchanges from newbie members! ALso got scammed 1 week before. Think better stay at ccex and wait for bittrex.. we need only 4 more exchanges TREX and POLO, and after that CRYPTSY and MINT Bittrex is really the only exchange we absolutely need. It's good to have one of the other 3 as a backup. |

Look at total supply, look at realistic anonymity, speculate on the functionality of KEY OS and then consider DRK, if Shitcoin DRK can see .02 this coin is golden to hit the same if not higher, this may legitimately be a really big deal, especially with a functioning "Kali Linux" style OS made by the KEY team with anonymity in mind.. incredible work, by far better than any other job done to date... even better than CLOAK which is a very bold statement, I do think that CLOAK and VOOT are the only other anon to offer a realistic solution.
I just want to correct this statement to add XCurrency (XC) to your list of CLOAK and VOOT(lol). Afterall, your code was audited by the developer of the first working decentralized anon coin with a gui. |
