801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 09, 2024, 05:54:42 PM

In as much as I would admit to the fact that many people expected Barcelona to easily beat Mallorca, let's not forget that it was still this same Mallorca team that defeated Girona last weekend in the Spanish La Liga and that I think is another reason why no one should underestimate the power of the Mallorca team.
That being said, Barcelona have been absolutely impressive in their recent games in the Spanish La Liga and were even able to take a point from their game tonight against Mallorca even when they weren't in their best shape. The club manager Xavi Hernandez is supposed to be praised for what he's been able to achieve with this team this season despite the fact that they've had many injury concerns and also the fact that the club's management failed to sign high profile players to the club in recent transfer windows because of the financial crises at the club.
But the bad news for Barcelona fans is that Xavi Hernandez will leave the club at the end of the season and in my own opinion, I think it'll be very difficult to find another manager that'll help Barcelona to remain in competition for trophies with this current team when Xavi Hernandez leaves the club in the summer
Barcelona in the past weeks haven't really been much of their usual performances and it's very much dangerous to their chances at both the UCL and the La Liga too. It's understable that injury setbacks occur in teams but it's only left for the team to be proactive to proferring lasting solutions that can be coped with pending when they're out of the situation. Their last league game didn't end favourably to them and it likely can affect their chances in the next game against Mallorca. The question remains if they will even be charged up for the game considering their situation and the mindset and advantage their opponent would possess ahead of the encounter.

They've in passing weeks been shaky in performances and one can't be sure to vouch for them on how they'll perform against Mallorca. The game ended in an unpleasant manner with Barcelona as big and mighty as the name sounds just winning with a goal margin. Personally, I think it was a very poor game outcome. They ought and were expected to have done even better than they did yesterday considering the caliber of team Mallorca were and also ignoring the past impacts they've made in the league.

This team are a relegation zoned team and Barcelona for all time has been a top team. Regardless of the amount and level of setbacks experienced so far, they were the host and so they ought to have had the upper hand in the game but all their shots of over 20times towards Mallorca goal only yielded just a goal netted. Another advantageous boost to Mallorca 's confidence cos it all seems like they obviously were able to hold down the great Barcelona till the last minute. To think that I predicted two goals from the game, sadly Barcelona didn't live up to expectation.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 08, 2024, 08:04:02 PM

So far De Rossi has shown good progress since he became coach of AS Roma, there is nothing special about what he has shown, but slowly he is able to show a good game and that prioritizes teamwork, for me this is something that is important good for a team because the main thing you must have is good teamwork. If I'm not mistaken, they have only lost once while being managed by De Rossi and that was against Inter Milan, I can say that is a natural thing because the team that beat them is the best team currently in Serie A.
He is showing good things, but I still want to see whether he will be able to consistently maintain his performance with AS Roma, or whether this is only happening at the beginning. I don't mean to underestimate him, but learning from experience I have seen many coaches who were only good at the beginning but then they became coaches who couldn't be any better after gaining more trust from management. He has to prove that he is not only good at the start, but he can bring AS Roma to an even better level of consistency.
De Rossi just came and should be given time to show himself. They're playing the league games and as well as the European games, their attention is on 2 trophies, European trophy will be difficult for them and I don't think that currently De Rossi would be able to scale through all the clubs that will be presented to him to face in each advancement phase of the tournament. Even in the Serie A, it'll be difficult for them to gain the top stand so it's just best that they focus their strength and struggle to maintaining a good result that'll see them scale through to the European cups next season.

De Rossi can still make a great team from Roma and their next games encounters are awaited. They played away to Monza last weekend and the game outcomes actually went in their favor. They were able to confidently net in 4goals and this gave enough goal margin in the match today. Monza who were the host didn't actually make much effort, adding that they were up against a better side and nothing less or different from the final outcome was expected to happen. The odds were in Roma's favour and in their own part, they were able to perform and deliver rightly, adding an extra 3points to their league table points and this as well adds to the push and morale ahead of their next European cup game against Brighton.

The game ended last night in Roma's favour as once again the ensured a clear 3points victory with a wide goal margin too. This only assures then of a bigger possibility ahead of the second leg clash which seems to be in Roma's favour. They did a good job putting Brighton in that tight corner even though majority of us thought Brighton would stand up to the fight and try to reduce the goal gaps regardless. Roma have been able to gather enough confidence ahead of their domestic league games. Even though the top 2 spot isn't assured to them, they've been able to fight to maintain relevance and as well ensure that they secure an European ticket next season, just their consistency matters at this point. The advancement journey won't be easy, the forthcoming league games too won't be easy. But I believe De Rossi is set to give his best for the team judging from the result of their last two games.

Nothing wrong with the consistency of manchester city, it's only disrupted by some players who left from the club last season. Did you remember if city has its sould on guendogan and mahrez? Yeah city lost those guys. It's a common thing when the pattern of this club changed a little bit.
Manchester city had recruited some players and these new players have different play styles compared to those players who decided to join in barcelona and al ahli.

City is now back with a structured squad. We have new players who replaced mahrez and gundogan. It needs time for the new player to gain more experience and develop themselves. It's caused the new players considerably young and they still lack experience.
Manchester city is now back stronger again. As long as haaland, de bruyne and foden will be there, there's nothing to worry about.

City got the easiest fixtures in UCL to go to the quarter final since it faced some weak clubs in a row. That helped the club a lot to reach quarter final and im curious about what club will become city's next opponent.
City has most stable performance compared to other big clubs like madrid or bayern.
A team is used to playing in a certain way and that changes when they lose some players more especially attacking key players whom their presence in the team makes a huge difference. Players when they depart a team makes the whole shape and performance of the team drops. This is one reason why you see clubs wanting to always renew the contracts of their players but as we know everyone wants to be in the startups of a squad and be the difference maker of the squad. And this isn’t possible as football is a game of just 11 players, so as such there’ll be loss in players.

This is the case for Man City this season, acs they are not in a good shape as compared to how hungry they were last season. The hunger in the team was so much and it made them get victories over some top teams. Well some mew players joined the squad and even though players have played some matches together there’s still high chances of them making some errors as this is the UCL. City have made it to the last 8 and yes they had very easy opponents.

I think Pep would need to apply better tactics as he’s got both the UCL with some better squads still strongly competing. He’s also in tough competition with Liverpool and Arsenal for the EPL and for that reason mistakes in the UCL is very prone to happen. But still Pep is a good tactician and I believe his wide experience will be able to help him out. And that’s why I’m having some sort of confidence though I still see Real Madrid winning this UCL rather than City.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 08, 2024, 04:42:11 PM

All six goals scored in this match were scored by Liverpool players  Smiley because Connor Bradley made a mistake which makes their opponent score one goal.
Agree that the second match will be very relaxed for Liverpool unless they continue to try to set a record, but bringing back their young players like in the Carabao Cup final is very possible for Klopp, especially since the English Premier League matches will be more important for the time being because they still have to maintain their position at the top of the standings.

However, of all the matches that were quite surprising were the AC Milan vs Slavia Prague match and Benfica vs Rangers.
Slavia Prague were still able to score two goals with only 10 players even though their final result was a loss but AC Milan did not show superiority in this match, and Benfica who were held to a draw by Ranger will make it easier for Ranger in the second match later, and AS Roma scored four goals without reply which is very impressive. and they have the chance to qualify because Brighton has to score five goals without replying in the second match and that is quite difficult in my opinion, even though sometimes Brighton can play very aggressively, of course Roma will try to thwart every Brighton attack later.
The UEL round of 16 was played yesterday and the results were very impressive, we saw the two big teams in the competition strive to make a good game. Although for Qarabag, yes they were very much competitive and they did their best to hold Leverkusen to a draw but this is not a justification to their qualification unto the next phase. Big ups to them still that they were able to perform unpredictably well last night. They better in the first two goals in the game and they definitely used their host advantage very well. Leverkusen, would only have to do better in the second leg adding that they'd be the host and i believe they won't want to tarnish their records so far this season.

So I'm very much  confident in their ability to score enough and secure the next phase ticket when they take on Qarabag in Germany. Liverpool themselves proved their worth, class and relevance by going hard to win with enough goal margins the first placed Sparta Praha. It was a well deserved win for the English side and certainly a clear ticket to the quarter finals too. This only shows how good the English and German side are this season and i must say that they are the two biggest sides this season in the UEL and it'll only be fair that the trophy goes to either of the teams.

Liverpool at Anfield would definitely not have much work to do and Sparta Praha knows the team they're scheduled with and they've come to terms with the fact that there's definitely no hope for them. Qarabag can still try to make winning tough for Leverkusen in Germany but the German side has a history of not failing especially at their home ground. It's safe to say that both Liverpool and Leverkusen are two teams amongst a few that have been able to be consistent in performances in both the domestic league and European games.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 08, 2024, 04:20:36 PM

Though Mallorca is playing in Barcelona, and Barcelona will want to use home advantage to win the match, I don't trust Barcelona's performance. Barcelona's last match against Mallorca ended in a draw, and at that point the Barcelona squad was complete. However, now that Pedri and De Jong are out for a few weeks, how can Barcelona win this match? Mallorca, on the other hand, are also very strong this season; they've performed so well that they're in the Copa del Rey final.

Barca needs to win this game in order to advance in the league. If they lose, they will drop to third place in the table and even give Atletico Madrid the chance to move up and overtake Barca. If Atletico Madrid does that, Barca will be eliminated because Athletic Club is still chasing them. They are only a few points ahead of both Athletic Club and Atletico Madrid, so if they make a mistake, it won't be funny.
Will they even be charged up for the game considering their situation and the mindset and advantage their opponent would possess ahead of the encounter.

They've in passing weeks been shaky in performances and one can't be sure to vouch for them on how they'll perform against Mallorca. Their opponent will be the host and they've got one had a big confidence considering the fact that they were able to defeat Girona who are also ahead of Barcelona and in the first leg, they did their best at Barcelona's home to hold them to a draw. Now these are the fears of Barcelona and they've had another disadvantage in the past games. Their confidence for the game is far less and i won't blame them if it turns out that Mallorca takes advantage of this opportunity and turn things around positively to their favor.

Barcelona in themselves have to do away with negativity, every week left this season counts and for them, they're just a little point above Atletico who will be ever joyous to take their place on the league table. One would expect that Barcelona won't trade their chances and the odds for both teams would have just a mold difference but it's an unsafe bet as anything at all can happen. Personally I can't be confident in which of the sides to win the game but I can be assured that there'll be two or more goals scored in the game too.

Watching Bayer Leverkusen win the Bundesliga title this season is certainly a bit painful for Bayern Munich where they have led the league for a long time and now their position is no longer the defending champion because Leverkusen has broken their dominance, it is too early to talk about this but there are 10 matches remaining in the term 3 months is a short time for Leverkusen compared to them maintaining their consistency since the start of the season which has gone through more than 30 matches. But hopefully Leverkusen will continue to maintain their consistency if they want to seal their victory as Bundesliga champions and gain new experiences for Xabi Alonso if they want to survive a little longer with Leverkusen in the Champions League next season.

Yes, maybe Bayern Munich could do that because Bayern Munich aims to dominate the league, just like Bayern Munich bought a talented player from Dortmund, namely Robery Lewandowski, even though as we know, Dortmund is their biggest rival in the Bundesliga, but they still do it to improve their performance and dominate again title, it might happen at Leverkusen where Bayern Munich will make an offer to Xabi Alonso to join them but if Xabi makes a statement to stay longer at Leverkusen then that is a good decision because I still want to see Leverkusen's good performance next season .
Over the years, every season, we've seen certain teams leading the top chart of the Bundesliga and there's been some levels of consistency especially for Munich who's most of the time finished at the first position. Before now, Leverkusen and Stuttgart weren't even seen near the top four, it was always a Munich, Dortmund show but there's been much of a difference this season. Now there's a kinda rub shoulders between these teams, Leverkusen and Stuttgart who's been on the sidelines for seasons have now come up to be competitive for the trophy. Since the season began, they've been able to be threats to the trophy race, Munich now have to be extra cautious in their games too. Also for Stuttgart who's been doing their best to keep their spot in the top 4 space. It's very much impression that this season took a different turn in the Bundesliga.

Leipzig and Dortmund still have to strive to regain back their usual space on the table because currently, they're seemingly below the top 3, although with not much points difference which they still have a chance to meet up with. The Bundesliga trophy tussle as of now is majorly between Leverkusen and Munich and beyond every doubt, it all seems like it'll rest in Leverkusen's cubicle. They've being consistent this season, and all games played in all competitions, they've incurred just 5 draws. This is one record that Munich has failed to achieve this season as there's been couple of game week loopholes and losses and this has cost them their attaining the toppest spot on the league table. The remaining games in the league are very much rosy for Leverkusen considering the first leg performances and results and also judging based on their approach to games.

It only shows how well they're set to perform till the season is rounded up and Munich themselves know it won't be possible to clinch the trophy this season and they just have to try out their luck next season. Well testifyingly, it was a tough battle looking at how much both teams had to put in extra energy and efforts adding to the fact that they strived to give Leverkusen a few tough game weeks too. Well it's only sad that their efforts were not consistent enough and we all thought this battle would tarry on unto the final game in the league but well we now know the distances apart are clear enough and the probability for Leverkusen to secure the trophy is extremely high. Munich just have to cover up points to ensure that the point gaps so not go wider than it is already.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 08, 2024, 03:43:53 PM

It's true, they are used to this, almost every season they always feel the same way, they can only be a team that only shadows at the top of the standings without being able to become a team that can provide something that can make their supporters happy. The business they do is more than just a championship title, because I'm sure if they could prioritize a title more then they would be able to get it, but the problem is they don't make it their main target, because their target is to make as much profit as possible from selling players.

I don't understand them, because they should be able to appreciate their loyal supporters more and present them with a title. Because if we talk about loyalty then I can say that Borussia Dortmund supporters are loyal supporters. I think the fans should start protesting against Borussia Dortmund so they can be more serious in their pursuit of the championship. The reason is that just being in the runner up position or in the top 4 is not enough for them, considering that they also have enormous ability to become champions in the Bundesliga.
This season, there's been a switch in the dominance that occurs in the German league, the professor Xabi is one key threat to Munich who's in time past being the head and leaders of the league. Even though last season, there's been a trail behind from Dortmund, comparing all the years, only Leverkusen have been overtime been able to maintain the difference in standings on the contention battle. Tuchel knows that a serious tussle lies ahead and as the season draws to an end, there's greater chance to create growth opportunities too. I'll love to see how the end of the season will look like for the German clubs as it's highly expected that unlike Dortmund, Leverkusen would make the big difference. Even though it seems impossible for them to stay at the top three spot this season on the Bundesliga table, they can still make rounding difference in the goal gaps and dominance in games.

They've only lost their position, but their intensity and pressurable performance on the pitch is still intact. Dortmund have been impactful this season but it's acceptable that their impact hasn't had any crucial effect on their stand in the Bundesliga table. They ought to have performed extremely better than they're performing now considering how much effective their squad list is. They've had notable follow up intensity in past seasons and all time, they've not had a reason to go below the top 3 stand. This season, it's threatening due to the fact that little Stuttgart have vowed not to be resilient and have put in more actions than hopes to ensuring that they stay on top. This isn't just threatening and bad for Dortmund but also for Munich who are just a few points ahead. Dortmund before now have a history or moulding out excellent players and so i believe for that fact that the skill set needed to do better, they possess it but where do we say the fault is from now?

One would think it's managerial but does it also mean that even with the skillset list of players, those of Stuttgart are more advanced than the Dortmund list? It's not acceptable and everyone should bear the grunt of it. Well they've only managed to miss their UCL ticket next season if and only if they're not able to cover up their lapses which the probability is seeming high though but it's certainly a poor result that all the years being at the UCL, they now had to bend down to competing in the UEL next season. Maybe they'd make amends and things would return back to normalcy but until then, we only have to watch how they perform till the end of the season and the next step they'd take to improving their strides.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 08, 2024, 03:26:48 PM

Only a few more days we will witness a bigmatch between two teams that are at the top at the moment, this match will be very decisive for both teams to keep their positions in the standings, Manchester City and Liverpool so far have good capital in facing the match, Liverpool who just got a big victory against Qarabag in the Europa League certainly has high motivation to get another victory against Manchester City,  Likewise, Manchester City who have managed to secure the last 8 of the Champions League will certainly focus 3 points in the match to take over the top of the Premier League standings, in terms of performance clearly both teams cannot be doubted but at the moment it seems Manchester City benefits more from a longer rest time compared to Liverpool who have just finished their Europa League matches.

Not only that, even the match will be even more exciting with Salah return after injury, so that way, not only the two teams have high motivation but the rivalry for the top score will also Occur between Haaland and Salah in the match, Salah return certainly makes Liverpool attack very sharp and it can be said that the match will probably create more than 1 goals,  i personally wouldn't bet on who will win because it will be very difficult to predict but parlay seems to be a good option for this weekendgame with a score of more than 1 for Manchester City and Liverpool.
The EPL match this weekend promises to be fun and very fierce and we the football fans are ready for all the excitements the matches hold. This weekend we’ll be seeing some changes in the league positions especially the position of the the league leaders. This weekend the major match happens to be Liverpool vs City and this match holds so many excitements especially as Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola rivalry comes a long way and this match happens to be decoding how the league goes. The matches between these teams will be fierce because of how both these teams squad are placed and how strong their squad depth is.

Salah and Haaland seems to be the main focus but you can’t help to take your eyes off some key players in the attack especially that of City who have Foden and De Bruyne in the squad. Haaland being out of he squad doesn’t make City squad feels less of themselves. The City’s attack proved to be very fierce and they’re not seeming like they’re calming down anytime as almost all the players are very fierce. But as for Liverpool side, without Salah in the squad it’s seeming like that they’re unproductive and always finding it difficult to get the ball at the back of the net.

The match I think will sure end in a draw as both of these teams wouldn’t want to let the other team have the edge. Though I’m sure that both teams will find the back of the net but I don’t think they’ll let the other get the edge and win. Salah return is a great boost for this Liverpool side and we know how exciting this fixture will hold. I think both team are coming into this fixture with much confidence  after their European wins from both teams.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 08, 2024, 02:42:25 PM

No problem. I respected your opinion, too. As a citizen, I'm willing to see the city continue to crush the premier league. Liverpudlians could argue that the EPL trophy can be a sweet farewell gift for Klopp before he steps down as a coach, but I don't mind it since I'm willing to see the city continue its domination in the EPL.
The Europa League probably nothing for Liverpool because it won with huge scores last night. We will be able to see City and Liverpool play with their best squads very soon. Let's see which club will be able to be consistent till the last game of this season.

I'm feeling so positive about Manchester City's current squad. They are very motivated to win the EPL trophy for the fourth time in a row. Taking down Liverpool at Anfield will be a major milestone, helping the city get even closer to winning the EPL. Having said that, City will have Arsenal, which will be placed second caused by it will face med tier club..
I can't wait to see the match will begin soon. Salah has played in europa league. I'm sure that if Klopp will put him in since the first half.

Liverpool sees the match against Manchester City as one of the most important things. This will help club to avoid its competitors as long as liverpool will able to win against city

The competition in the EPL still remains one fierce one and we’ve got teams real competing to get success off the competition in the league. City has dominated this league for a very long time and it’s now looking very boring. This is one major reason why I want to see another team win this league and I’m so glad that Liverpool and Arsenal are in a very fierce competition with Manchester City and they’re also looking better placed than City.

Yes for Liverpool, this will be a perfect farewell gift for Klopp who’s set to leave at the end of the season. The UEL is one league that Liverpool is seen as a major contender and with the massive score last night you can see how they’re well placed to win the league, so their major challenge will be winning the EPL and with the quality squad JK have built, it’s very possible to challenge City and Arsenal. Also this weekend will be more like an open way because we’ll see both teams playing and then we’ll know how strong this Liverpool team is.

The match at Anfield will be a very big one and City stands less than no chance in securing the victory here, as Liverpool has made Anfield a fortress and City coming in there could be a major challenge. So I feel they’ll be having both Liverpool and an inform Arsenal to battle. For this match, I’ll be double chancing on Liverpool to at least get the win and secure their spot not minding the result coming from the Arsenal game. In all, I wouldn’t want City winning the league as it’ll make the league look a bit easy for other league fans.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: March 08, 2024, 02:33:29 PM

It is true that complex competition which is quite tense usually occurs when each club only has a small difference in points so there is still a shift in position. Apart from that, what makes it even more interesting is when the first and second places are still competing fiercely in the title race, as is the case with Al Nassr, Al Hilal and Al Ittihad at the start of this season they played very well but now the league is a little boring when it is almost at its peak because there are no longer changes in positions with a fairly large point difference.

The Saudi Pro League has indeed invested most of their money in European star players to increase their popularity and also make the league competition even fiercer, like the top three clubs currently they are still competing fiercely but yes, because now the point difference with Al Hilal is quite far, we can already guess who who will be the champions, Al Hilal, are playing very tough and haven't even suffered a single defeat so far so I'm pretty sure they can get it.

It won't be complete if Ronaldo doesn't have the Saudi League trophy, even though he has to wait for next season, that doesn't matter because he hasn't decided to retire yet and his performance is still quite good, but Al Nassr must improve all the players' performance and improve their defense because Al Nassr's current weakness is defense. they are not as strong as Al Hilal therefore if al nassr wants to win they have to learn from this season's mistakes.

A league proves to be very competitive when the points between the league leaders are pretty close and that ups the competition of the league. This is one of the qualities of a very good league. This is why the EPL still remains one of the great league across because of the fierce competition between the teams and You can see how hard all the teams in this league struggle not just for the league but also for European spot and even fight and compete to get out of the relegation spot.

This competition helps the teams in the league grow fierce and they improve with time too and are able to compete across their league. The SPL started and made some good recruitments across Europe and the rest and these recruitments were essential so as to help build the teams for bigger competitions across the continent. And this recruitments have now proved to be worth every amount used to sign and get these players.

Though the league is looking boring already as we have known the league winners already. This kind of result is what makes the league looks real boring as there’s no longer any competition in the league already. Ronado needs to win this league as the fans wants him to real win this league, though at the moment he’s not at a point of retirement. So it’s very possible for him to win the league but the team must try to improve and learn from their mistakes of this season and who knows, next season must be their luck.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 08, 2024, 01:22:00 PM

The match between Lens versus Brest is a competition to secure tickets to the Champions League next season. On paper, Brest deserves to be superior because their statistics are slightly better at the moment. It is true that there is a possibility that this match will end in a draw, because Lens is lucky in terms of acting as host. Lens has the ambition to penetrate the Champions League zone, which is currently three points away, and it is not an easy job to secure full points when facing Brest. Betting on this match really requires consideration, because the strengths of the two teams are not much different.

On the other hand, the competition for the Champions League zone in Ligue 1 is likely to continue to be tight until the end of the season, while PSG will not be under significant pressure to lead the standings in the future. Brest, Monaco, Lille, Nice and Lens will pressure each other to secure Champions League tickets, and Marseille also seems to have a chance to enliven the competition. The Lens versus Brest match is one of the most interesting matches in week 25, considering the background of ambition and the impact that would arise if points were lost.
The season is coming to an end and now every team is under pressure especially in the major leagues to secure spot an the UCL which is Europe’s elite competition. Now we see the top 6 teams all struggling and pressured to go to the UCL. This is so as to secure major signings to the clubs especially as most players now make UCL football a priority before making a move to a particular club. This kind of pressure can either make the team succeed or make them fall off easily and lose points.

This pressure and competition is also seen in the Ligue 1 which we consider a farmer’s league because at the moment we all know the winner for the leg and it’s obviously PSG who aren’t under any pressure as compared to the EPL whom the league winner spot is under serious and fierce competition. In the Ligue 1 the main focus is for the 2nd and 3rd spot who are getting the ICL Ticket. This weekend we’ll be having Lens who are currently in 6th place taking on an informed Breat side who’re sitting pretty comfortably in 2nd spot. This match will have all the excitements as Lens who have been on and off on form will be hosting a Brest side who are on a good run.

The going away could be Brest challenge in this match as I think Brest are so good but could be challenged by Lens at home form. For this reason if I’m to place a bet on this match, I’ll be double chancing on Brest because they’re a better team than Lens at the moment. I think this match won’t be the end of the race for UCL spot as we’ve still got Monaco and Nice who are great teams and they’re just few points away from Brest at the moment. The pressure could also result in Brest dropping points so the race is still on and very fierce.

Tottenham Hotspur against Aston Villa catches my fancy, tough game and difficult for me to predict who win at the end of the game, one would say Aston Villa would come out victorious from the game on Sunday, but I will day after the Conference Cup Competition, they should sure be having tired legs from that game and could be used as an advantage you see.
I'd say both side would draw but these clubs here have both been unpredictable to be very honest.

The same as well goes with West Ham United, for they'll be against Frieburg in the European Europa League Competition, they should also be exhausted from that fixture on Thursday. Could be a good chance for them to utilize the chance they have to go above Manchester United, but would that be possible? Burnley are also so poor that I cannot back them to even win the game. Vincent Kompany and his lads should do better.

For the the game between Liverpool and Manchester City, Anfield has been a fucking fortress you see, and having Injured players right now has got to be tdue biggest blow they'll face ahead of the game. Would the likes of Mo Salah and Co's be back for that game? T's another difficult game for me to predict. I don't mind seeing Arsenal ahead of them in the Premier League standing. Both Liverpool and Manchester City have both dominated the league in the last few years. Hopefully, they share points and Arsenal gets to  use the chance they have against Brentford to go top.
The matches in the EPL this weekend are quite competitive and almost all the matches are a determinant for a particular position. And this is why the EPL still remains the beat league in Europe. The competition between the teams helps each team try to improve and that’s why you see the way they play in Europe and you can’t help but love it. This weekend will be having a game week with some fierce competition between the teams and I’ll love to analyze.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham proves to be the battle of who could have a chance to finish 4th and head to the UCL. Tottenham are the bigger team no doubt but you can’t overlook the improvement of this Villa side. Heading into this fixture I think Tottenham have the upper hands as Villa could have tired legs from their European fixture so I think this game a safe bet would be to double chance on Tottenham. West Ham and Manchester United is another similar match and I think the poor form of Manchester United side will come to play in this fixture though I still believe Red Devils to have the edge in this fixture to at least make up for their team loss to City rivals

The main game is at Anfield and I feel this will sure end in a deaw as none of these teams are going to let the other have his way and that game would be the boost Arsenal needs to stay on top of the EPL table. I also want to see Arsenal go top again and see how long they can maintain that position this season. So this weekend is going to be having much fun in the EPL and we the fans are alive and ready for the action the weekend holds.

We just need to wait whether Liverpool can maintain its position or not because with the condition of some players who have not fully recovered and the tight schedule, especially with some big matches that Liverpool will do, this will definitely make the situation more difficult than expected.

This March they are faced with several big matches and quite important matches where the Europa League Round of 16 will take place as well as with several big EPL matches after that the PA cup quarter-finals clearly require quite high concentration as well as the cohesiveness of the club and good management from Klopp to organize his squad so that it can be optimal in every match that is carried out and not too on portion so as not to fatigue.

This is not something easy but Klopp certainly knows the risks like this must always happen so all they have to do is try to keep doing the match well so that their condition does not falter.
Now if in the end Liverpool can get through all of this I think they will be able to make a breakthrough and achieve good results because if apart from mentally, they will also have a great fighting spirit to get through other matches.
The EPL is now very competitive as we see the 3 teams all following up on each other with points and goal differences and this is what makes this league very competitive and fun to watch. The healthy competition in the league makes the league fan base grow real fast and great and these are things the fans love. The 3 teams will be having crucial matches this weekend and all eyes will be at Anfield to see how Liverpool vs Man City will go down. Before that, Arsenal will have to take on Brentford on Saturday in what could see them go top of the table if they can grab the win.

Arsenal are looking very hot and on fire this time around as they’ve managed to move their goal difference to +44 by scoring at least 4 goals in the last 4-5 matches. This alone shows how productive the attack of this Arsenal side is and how determined the entire squad is. Yes because of the high level of determination, the confidence on them getting at least 3 goals over the weekend against Brentford is high and I know it’s very much possible. They’ll all be going out to get the win which will help them go top of the table pending result from Anfield.

Liverpool having injury scare is one team I’m scared of and coupled with the so many fixtures they’re having, the UEL and FA Cup, I’m wondering how long they’ll be able to hold up. Well Jurgen is a tactician and should know how to save himself up. In as much as I don’t want City to win the league, I believe Arsenal who’re now looking very determined can be able to pull up something and steal the league. Also I’m still rooting for Liverpool though I don’t think the injury crisis will help them though. Well let’s wait till after the game week this weekend, then we’ll know who have higher chance of grabbing the league.

Saying that Allegri failed is actually not worth saying because during this season Allegri has succeeded in bringing about changes which previously experienced significant decline last season, only this season they failed to top the standings.
However, at least Allegri succeeded in bringing Juventus to second place in the standings, it is predicted that Allegri will end his coaching at the start of next season, which means that Juventus will change coaches and from now on they will try to target several names.
Spalletti is indeed pretty good coach and has experience that cannot be doubted, but it is not clear whether Spalletti will actually coach Juventus or not because he stated that he wants to rest first and spend more time with his family.
I not really sure Spalletti will accept the offer if Juventus makes an offer to become coach there.
It just that from several rumors there is one name that might be the main option, namely Thiago Motta who is the coach of Bologna, he was successful in bringing Bologna to the top 4 positions.
But it is not certain who will actually become Juventus coach to replace Allegri.
When one succeeds he gets the praises because he’s doing what he’s hired for and when he fails he gets the criticisms because he’s not making the fans and board happy. A club performing poorly could lose quite a lot in terms of investments and partnerships. This season Juventus were under fire at a point this season and that caused a lot of criticisms, the team and one big characteristics of a good manager is changing the face of the team when it’s in her dying stage and that was what Allegri did and many started seeing them as one team that could pose a threat to Inter Milan.

Well the party is over already and now Juventus have had some poor results which wasn’t expected though but they’re a football team and football is a game. I think the fans should take it easy as they don’t expect to have great results match in and out as this same Allegri have also won for them the Scudetto and they should know that the league is quite competitive and other teams also want to shine. Spaletti is said to be one of the huge favorites to replace Allegri and I think that’s not a great option right now though except he’s mentally ready.

Spaletti together with Osimhen was responsible for handing Napoli to her major trophy in over 30 years of waiting. Yes he can do same with Juventus but the club also must be ready to spend on the purchase of players. Allegri time at the club is up and I think what he can try to do is to help the club finish 2nd and I think he would get the applauds but will still leave. Juventus should be wary of rushing to get a replacement else they might be forced to search for Allegri again when the need arises.

Dominik Szoboszlai played when Liverpool beat Nottingham Forest, although only for a few minutes because he came on in the 76th minute to replace Harvey Elliot, so Dominik Szoboszlai will be fitter than Mohammad Salah in the match against Sparta Prague, and seeing Szoboszlai playing is much more likely than seeing Salah playing Later.

However, as you said, with the close match schedule against Manchester City which will be very decisive in maintaining their position at the top of the English Premier League standings, there is a greater chance that Mohammad Salah will not be deployed to make him fitter or if he is deployed, it will not be completely and will only look at the results of the match if necessary then he will play but if instead Liverpool are ahead then that is really unnecessary.
Jürgen Klopp's experience will allow him to correctly apply what should be applied in the match against Sparta Prague, especially since their opponent is not as strong as Liverpool even though they will field a lot of young players.

Atlanta being able to hold Sporting to a draw in the first match is a very good thing for them to win in the second match because the home position will give them an advantage. Even though they played as an away team, Atlanta managed to play well and provide resistance to Sporting, although there were doubts because they looked not in good shape due to two defeats in Serie A, and this result is their capital to get to the quarter-finals of the European League.
Tonight the game between Liverpool and Sparta Prague will played and it all seems like the big fish is going to outrun the host considering their heightened spirit all time in this season's UEL. Before the game week though, there have been speculations and fears about Salah not being on the line up list subsequent to his return to the team after a number of weeks out of play. They have what it takes to win the game today even though it's a much needed win for a confidence booster ahead of City's encounter over the weekend.

It's really impressive that even with the absence of Salah, past games in the league have been fruitful for them which gives them more push to bounce back and win tonight. For Sparta Praha, the game is very much important to them to gain a stance ahead of the advancement unto the next stage. They ought to be enthusiastic about the game and the eagerness to win should come alive more. It'd be more advantageous for them to maintain the lead as they'll be the host tonight and it'll be much needed to get them out of the danger zone of getting disqualified at this stage.

The team is top in their league table and so they have what it takes to compete well tonight. They are very competitive in their games and they really shouldn't be underrated as they're capable of anything that's fit to turn the game around. Weighing rightly,  Liverpool currently have what it takes to earn the victory from the game tonight and maybe they'll do same when they meet City later. But I'm certain that it'll be tough inasmuch as the City side are doing better in performances too overtime.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: March 07, 2024, 12:42:46 PM

It is clear that Al Hilal will win the title this season so we just have to wait until this season ends, it is a bit boring when we see that there has been no change in position at the top of the standings for quite a long time and the league feels interesting if we are still entering the start of the season where the competition It's still exciting, but usually when we enter the second half of the season isn't it always like this? where clubs are starting to lose their consistency and only strong clubs are able to maintain their performance and be at the top of the standings with a fairly large point difference. Other leagues are also like that where currently they feel comfortable sitting at the top of the standings and just need to maintain their consistency until the end season.

Nobody knows about that yet but hopefully every year the Saudi Pro League will have a different champion so that the league doesn't feel boring and competitive it will look interesting if it's not only dominated by Al Hilal, they have won many SPL titles but last season they were beaten by Al Ittihad and this season they look like they will win the title again because the distance is quite far from their strong rivals but for next season hopefully Al Nassr will be able to beat Al Hilal and win the SPL title. To be honest I want to see Cristiano Ronaldo collect the Saudi league title for complete his collection before he retires from the world of football.
A league gets pretty interesting when the competition between the clubs are pretty intensed and at the end of each game week, you see some shifts in the position of teams. Also when the points between the league leaders are quite close and everyone is on the lookout for the team to drop points. This is what makes a league interesting and worth calling it competitive. These characteristics are what’s needed in majorly all leagues and that’s what the English League stand out to an extent.

The point of focus here is the SPL, and I think they’re doing quite well in that League as we’ve got the teams recruiting European players to help grow the league and also increase her fame too and that’s proper investment. Meanwhile this season the league was fun at first until Al-Nassr lost a lot of points and now finding it hard to catch up. Al-Hilal are leading the league and doing it pretty well and they seem unstoppable and we can already call them the champions of the league. The league now isn’t having much debate because it seems the season is over already as we already know who the winner will be.

Ronaldo is still in search for a trophy in this league and will now have to wait till next season to achieve that. I think him and Al-Nassr team needs to get serious and ready when the new season starts as many will be picking them as favorites. A lot want to see Ronaldo win the SPL title and not another team that’s why the league isn’t having that much media presence anymore because there’s a winner already in the league. The season should just end let’s start a new one please.

I have to admit that Real Madrid played very badly last night and often their defense was easily penetrated by the Leipzig players, but luckily Andrey Lunin was alert in blocking the ball so it didn't go into the net. Even though in the end Real Madrid conceded one goal, that result was not enough for Leipzig to win on aggregate over Real Madrid. If Vinicius didn't score in this match, it's possible the result would be a draw so it would go to extra time and I watched the process of this goal from a quick counter-attack led by Kross then Bellingham provided an assist for Vinicius to score.

It's very strange to see Ancelotti's formation in a decisive match like this and seeing Bellingham acting as a false 9 is quite risky. The reason is that Bellingham is used to being a box to box midfielder and this time he stepped out of his role according to Ancelotti's new tactics. Valverde also seems to be a winger and LMF to support attacks and this strategy is not suitable and quite different from what happened last season when Valverde was often placed in this position by Ancelotti. Ancelotti should have used his usual strategy by pairing Vinicius and Rodrygo in the attack line and Bellingham as an attacking midfielder, I think that is much more effective in attracting opposing defenders.

Despite all that, Real Madrid deserved to qualify for the quarterfinals even though it was quite difficult playing at home and for Leipzig they have to try to return to the champions league next season.
We have two favorites for the UCL this season and that’s City and Madrid. If we should use the performance of both teams yesterday to get the winner of the UCL then I feel City will be winning this trophy again. Real Madrid were shitty yesterday and I sincerely don’t know who to blame, but I pass much of the blame on Ancelotti because of his tactics. Though to an extent the tactics proved to get the equalizer goal though.

But I think the team would have done better with it’s usual tactics rather than coming to try out what could have caused them Quater Final spot. Liepzig were very good in their press and controlled the game well and looked very serious. I think Ancelotti was just trying out something as I feel I should make this excuse for him and he shouldn’t be dumb to try out same formation in the Quater Final stage as in this stage, there are more serious teams who are determined and mean big time business. Jude is very good in the midfield and should be allowed to enjoy his football there rather than using him as a false 9.

Real Madrid were known to qualify despite their poor performance as many including me still see them winning the UCL this season as they’ve got a good and young squad with very well and highly determined players. Ancelotti needs to go back to his usual formation as that would help him take on teams easily rather than trying out errors that could cause the team in the long run.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 07, 2024, 10:47:58 AM

Yes, at this time besides PSG, of course, Brest is the closest team to get another ticket to the Champions League this season with Monaco, currently both are competing to be the best and certainly to keep their chances from the pursuit of Lille and Nice who are below, at the end of the season all possibilities can happen depending on the performance of each team at this time that they must be able to maintain,  The current 1st and 2nd positions are actually still very unsafe for Brest and Monaco, because Lille and Nice can still get the last two Champions League tickets because they have a small points difference at the moment with Monaco and Brest, so that is why everything will likely depend on how well teams like Brest and Monaco maintain their performance until the end of the season.

But despite all that, let's try to suppose if Brest and Monaco get tickets to the Champions League later: for Monaco maybe I will not doubt their capacity to play in the Champions League because so far although they often fail in the Champions League but at least they have better experience playing in the Europa League, while Brest,  honestly maybe they look strong in the league this season, but it seems that for the Champions League it is clear they will be a barn of goals for other teams, besides, I am not sure if brest can bring in new players later to support their performance in the Champions League.
The League starts and we see some clubs doing pretty well with their major challenge being to hold on this improved form for a long time. The main challenge on maintaining this form is investment and most of these small teams don’t have the financial capacity to build up a formidable team. In the Ligue 1, we had Nice starting the season quite well and many though they’ll be that team to worry PSG just like Girona in the La Liga. Now Nice are lurking around 4th/5th and are struggling to get back to UCL Spot.

They didn’t have the right determination in the team to build up and keep up their form for long. Now we’ve got Brest who’re doing currently at 2nd place and I feel they’re still not safe because the point difference is 4 and Monaco are also a good side. Though Brest have been consistent in performance and with about 12-14 matches to go, I think them maintaining this consistency will see them having a UCL Spot.

Lille and Nice are also on the chase but I don’t see them being able to overthrow Monaco and stretch to Brest. Though this is football and anything is quite possible within 90 mins of play and Brest too will need to be more determined if they want to attain the success of securing a UCL Ticket. Looking at these teams in the UCL, you’ll begin to wonder why they’re struggling to go to that competition only to end up departing at the group stage. I think if these clubs successfully feature in the competition then they should try to get right players to help them especially in the UCL as there they’ll meet more better teams across Europe.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 07, 2024, 10:39:44 AM

So far we know Dortmund as one of the big teams in the Bundesliga and even every season they can be in the top 4 although for us to expect Dortmund to become champions is impossible, season to season we can see how Dortmund's performance continues to stagnate in the league without any decline or improvement and that is due to their habit of often selling their star players,  In terms of creating star players, of course, we cannot doubt how Dortmund have done it all along.

Players like Lewandowski, Sancho, Bellingham and Haaland can be a testament to the ability of their talent scatter who continue to find young talents to develop into star players, if we talk about the number of star players they have managed to orbit, of course there are countless and I think if Dortmund can keep these players in the squad then you could say Dortmund will be a great team and not impossible for They can compete for the Champions League trophy, especially in the Bundesliga, of course, they will easily be able to get rid of Munich, even after Dortmund sold Haalaand and Bellingham, many people predict that Dortmund will be difficult to find the top 4, but in fact, now Dortmund can optimize Fullkrug and Mallen as their spearhead.
Dortmund in previous seasons have been very much active and eager to chase the trophy. Although at the moment the chase isn't off, they've still got every chance in store to prove themselves. They've had scaly strides from the start of the season up till now, they've managed to scale through in the UCL, no one knows their fate in the next round but there's certainty that there's difference in their performances now and then too. They're a good team that just needs to find back their balance, there confidence level has dropped big and corrections needs to be made soon enough too.

There's no time out to let go off winning chances, it'll keep drawing them back. Overtime, they've had good players in the team going off to other clubs and making wave which only notes that they're a team that builds and carves up players to be exceedingly top notch in performance. And it's acceptable that there are still players in the team that currently are capable of keeping the team ahead.

820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 07, 2024, 10:17:17 AM

If the target is a ticket to the Champions League next season, to be honest, that is quite difficult because not only do they have to catch up with the eight points behind Bologna but they also have to see Bologna perform poorly in the remaining 11 matches.
Bologna is a team that gets a lot of points in home matches while away matches are dominated by draws and with 11 matches still to be played, 4 of them are home matches and the rest are away matches and they have to get 29 points so as not to be overtaken by Roma and other teams below them including Napoli so Napoli's target for the champions league is very difficult, and it would be easier for Napoli to achieve a position in the European league or conference league, and in my opinion, that is much better and will allow them to do more because the competition is not as tight as the champions league and even the opportunity to become the champion is wide open for Napoli, especially if they experience very good development next season.
The Italian side recently haven't had good strides in their league tussles and it's effect is gradually going to be seen. They ought to cover up their lapses but they aren't having what it takes. It only costed them a lot as care wasn't taking to repair these losses. There was no time left and their contests on the league tables were shaky, Mazarri only had to find a way around his team to cushion the drastic effects of their recent performances but since he couldn't they had to get a replacement that'll be able to place them rightly.

Well the new coach hasn't really made any big impact but so far, the team's performance have been better, they're even far more competitive and aggressive on the pitch as they used to and kudos to their forward man and the team in general who have been striving to remain at the peak of their performances. They were able to gain the three points against Juventus, which is definitely a boost and push for them. One would hope that this tempo is maintained till the end of the season because it's only that way that the team would finish at a meaningful spot in the Serie A table. Their forth coming games hopefully will derive a better results for them at the end of the season too but if they can successfully conquer this season to some reasonable extent, it'll be advisable that they work generally on the management aspect of the squad as positive changes would need to be made by next season.

Barely 11 weeks left to the end of the season and Napoli are long behind Bologna, yes, they'd want to strive to gain enough points so as to get tickets unto next season's European contests but it'll be a difficult task for them because even if they managed to cover up the points gap now, how can they be so sure that Bologna would sit back and be consistently poor in these last weeks. Last season, Napoli were a better side even in season's before last but this season, there's been a big switch to that and now it's seeming like a difficult task. Most less active teams of before have now taken it up on themselves to make long lasting differences this season and they've sure been consistent at it. It'll be difficult to break small teams as they've just developed a hidden confidence and strength to maintain their stiffness and just keep being ahead this season. Napoli can only reduce the track of points gaps between the teams but I'll really be longing that they're able to outstand and come on top the table to ensure the ticket is kept intact.
