803  Economy / Currency exchange / CLOSED for now [WTS] BTC or LTC (dwolla, bankwire, cash in mail, gold, silver,) on: July 21, 2013, 02:49:38 AM
Hi, I want to sell BTC or LTC for fiat. (or gold/silver)

I have a small bank in the USA you can send wires to, or banks here in Thailand.

I will also accept Dwolla, cash in the mail (USA) or checks (USA).

I guess I can take gold and silver as well if the rates are fair.

Escrow is fine however you must pay the fees. My largest BTC for fiat sale was for $93,000 USD and largest BTC stock sale was over $200,000 both with no escrow, they sent first in both cases. If you do want to use escrow John K is pretty easy/fast to work with.

Please do not send me a message that you go buy for 10% under this exchange, because of your costs and fees. The whole point of doing this is to avoid exchanges, if I wanted to use an exchange I could do it myself. I do not need to sell, I am in no hurry.

I am bullish on BTC but I am expanding my mining operations significantly and have some bills due in a few months so that is why I am looking for sales.

Peace
804  Bitcoin / Legal / What are the two unregulated "Money Transmitter" states? (USA) on: July 21, 2013, 02:08:37 AM
"Forty-eight US states regulate money transmitters although the laws vary from one state to the other.[3] Most of the states[4] require a surety bond with widely ranging amounts from as little as $25,000 to over $1 million and maintaining a minimum capital requirement."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money_transmitter

What are the two free states?

Thanks

806  Other / Off-topic / How bad would it be for a motercycle to just let it sit for a year? on: July 20, 2013, 02:01:10 PM
How bad would it be for a motercycle to just let it sit for a year?  I have been told this will destroy the bike. Any truth to this?
807  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 337 direct ASICMINER shares (Starting bid is only 4.3 BTC!) on: July 20, 2013, 08:41:40 AM
OK, I will accept that I guess too. Is there a list of official div addresses? By the way, thanks for being so responsive on this.

he pays out in bulk. you will get paid with 50 other people in the same transaction, its pretty clear if you look at it on the block chain.

can't edit my last post and wanted to add this,

if you get divs from friedcat you more or less own the shares. you do need to trust fc here as he has the power to pay out dividends and move around shares.

thanks
809  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 337 direct ASICMINER shares (Starting bid is only 4.3 BTC!) on: July 20, 2013, 08:36:38 AM
We confirm that 1H7Ra6837RTeJseWoHWZ856LcPmcoSwFKD is associated with enough shares for this auction.

We confirm that 1CFP2GTiHUCZsSZSFsvwmcehGcsL6w8mL9 is indeed associated with 56 shares.

These are literally from the (other) two latest threads selling direct shares on page 1 of auctions, so, it does not seem that abnormal that friedcat would confim something...

OK, well all I want to know, is how do I know that the shares have been transferred with friedcat, into my address? I could for all I know just be receiving dividends, until I go to sell the shares, and then find that I do not own them...

(By the way Goat, as I said before, I do actually trust you, but I don't think I should have to rely on that alone)  Undecided

Well friedcat has been linked to this auction thread so I do hope he will confirm when he moves them. However I don't think he has done that in all my auctions. Maybe he has, I'm not sure.

810  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 337 direct ASICMINER shares (Starting bid is only 4.3 BTC!) on: July 20, 2013, 12:27:45 AM
OK cool, because I think I'm gunna need a signed message from him or something.... not that I don't trust you or anything Wink

I doubt you will get that. If you are lucky you will start getting dividends in your address next week.

Go back and see how all the other auctions worked.

Thanks
811  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: July 19, 2013, 02:44:11 PM
What was the price paid for goat's BFL single?  Also how many BTC are left in the growth fund?

much less than originally agreed to Sad

but im a significant cog share holder so whatever is best for the company....

Yea,  it was a very awkward situation and I don't envy either party.  I'm just looking for some transparency on the deal so I can better assess the value of the company.

200 shares, but when they were worth much less than now.

812  Economy / Auctions / Re: 1 Share of ASIC AVALON 85GHs (4 Module) BATCH #3 Matthew N. Wright on: July 19, 2013, 02:19:40 PM
I heard he has been banned again.

Ahh, no shock there.

Well, hope he can keep his sanity in the mean time.
813  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 337 direct ASICMINER shares (Starting bid is only 4.3 BTC!) on: July 19, 2013, 02:17:02 PM
Thanks Goat, is he going to post back in here with confirmation?

No idea, but we will know when divs are paid out.

He was however sent a link to this thread.

I so don't understand this auction. It's mostly Goat bidding against himself Tongue

It was a hard fight but in the end i won!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ajtx05YrHtIydDdwWU1RX250Nzg0QUZpdFpINnFJVEE#gid=0   This has not been updated correctly and Matthew has not posted in a month.

Did he scam again and do a runner? Or maybe banned again?
