821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] SPRINTX - MORE THAN 6000 ETHEREUM -> AIRDROP LAUNCHED !!! on: June 09, 2018, 08:24:23 PM
I  have made many request in the past about my entry and my real entry was at 58 and not 217 which is a  fake entry by the way and that is not me, please do rectify it and i have posted many times in this thread as well as made private message and still no response from the bounty manager which is really sad. please do rectify it.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is bear mode good to the market? on: May 26, 2018, 11:49:00 PM
I hate wolves just because of this market. This year the bull is coming very late.
We cannot expect the market to rise all the time but we are a good cooling period and i am sure that the market will recover by late end  this year and the market keeps on moving higher and break new all time high valuation by next year and we will have a break out year in 2020 with the halving i expect another big rally.
823  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you feel about market regulation? on: May 26, 2018, 09:50:01 PM
Market regulations today is just fine because most of the people are still investing a huge amount or using markets to hold their coins, it only means that the security is still improving.
I am not sure how regulation will improve the security of bitcoin, even with all the regulations, if an exchange is hacked you will end up loosing all your coins unless the exchange is insured. I would like to see a market without much regulation but it is bound to happen one time or another, so i expect the regulations to come into full effect in a couple of years globally.
824  Economy / Economics / Re: Money laundering tools on: May 26, 2018, 09:41:07 PM
Learn the basics before saying what you heard on TV. You do not know the technical work of bitcoin, otherwise you would not say that
These half cooked knowledge is the main problem with many people who does not understand what they are talking about and they try to hear about misinformation provided by people who does not even know what this technology is all about and how it works, some people are just stupid enough that they wont be taking time to learn about it before commenting.
825  Economy / Speculation / Re: what affects the price? on: May 26, 2018, 07:26:23 PM
Some claim that bitcoin's market price is affected by the whales who are moving out their bitcoin's from their digital wallet causing the market cap of bitcoin to collapse and so as with its market price too. As to people who also panic sell their crypto assets during crisis, they are also making the crisis even worse. That's how the price of bitcoin is and it's completely relying on people's demand.
This is the truth, there is an investigation going on in terms of market manipulation and majority of times the Mt Gox team is selling off the coins in huge numbers and basically there are more sellers in the market and that is affecting the price and i am sure they do play a part in this market situation, the amount the coins from their cold wallet moves there is a panic situation and people are selling off their coins fearing for another major correction.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better to buy altcoins or bitcoin on: May 26, 2018, 05:39:24 PM
It is better to have bitcoin, but a lot of people speculate with altcoins, mainly to get more bitcoin. Be careful with them because they tend to get volatile  so if you are up lock the profits.
Most of the investors are looking to convert their profits to bitcoin, but there are several other projects with much better short term potential that could give you a much bigger profit than bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin is able to breach the $10k valuation we could see a rally, book your profits when you see the market looking weak and wait for the fall and purchase again, that is how i play in the short term, if you are looking for long term, i would enter bitcoin and nothing else.
827  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: May 26, 2018, 03:32:41 PM
Why not investing the saved money into cryptos? There is a bunch of prospective projects with tokens being traded for like x2-3-4 from their original price.
And it's a good time to invest in the most popular coins like btc, eth or dash because the market is in its dump.
The first rule of investment is not to invest everything back, you need to put your savings you made in your local currency and when you see a sure shot project you could invest in those but i would think twice before using my savings because you never know how the market will react in the short term, if there is a major correction i would definitely invest in bitcoin and other top coins, i do not see these small time bumps as correction, if the price of bitcoin reaches below $7k then i will invest my savings.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give up DASH ? on: May 25, 2018, 03:30:32 PM
I think that DASH is a very good choice, one of the anonymous crypto currency, in the future it must enjoy popularity, especially since this coin's team is very strong.
The problem with DASH is that there is not much merchant adoption like we see with Monero, all of the dark market accepts Monero and i do not think it is going to change anytime soon and there is no signs those markets will be accepting any other anonymous coins. If OP wants to switch over he can consider BCH as it has the potential in the long run.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin down, what will happen? on: May 25, 2018, 12:44:53 PM
If I were you I will buy more bitcoins then hold it for a long time months or years. But if you hold bitcoins be patience if you don't have patience you will not earn big profit in holding the key in long term trading is patience. Patience is a virtue invest what you can afford to lose.
If you are a hardcore investor it is an ideal situation when the price is down, i wonder how much have you purchased during this correction.  Grin The truth is that the price of bitcoin is really high even though the market right now is on a downward slope, considering the price we had last year it is still a huge valuation.
830  Economy / Reputation / Re: New Form of Cheating Bounties on: May 19, 2018, 10:16:33 PM
As far as I know bounty managers are removing double entries, also I've already seen this kind of behavior somewhere and I don't think they are re-entering campaigns, someone is trying to grab tokens without "work".

I would suggest you to contact their manager.
This is exactly what is happening, some are trying to grab free tokens by entering into other active users, the funny thing is that i complained about the same issue to the campaign manager about fake entries in my profile name, there were five fake entries claiming stakes and instead of striking the fake entries he removed me and kept the fake entry. Cheesy Hopefully he will rectify that mistake and before distributing everything good campaign manager will recheck everything, especially double entries.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Bitcoin or Bitcoincash could spike suddenly? on: May 19, 2018, 09:18:38 PM
Do you think Bitcoin or Bitcoincash could spike suddenly, say go up 50% to 200% within a week in the next few months?
It is really hard to predict the exact time the price would rise but both have are promising along with other top coins in the market, the coin which is getting the best market and merchant adaptation will have a much greater impact, but the long term valuation will be much higher than the current situation.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi nakamato needs to come out ! on: May 19, 2018, 07:46:44 PM
I think it would only hurt Bitcoin if Satoshi ever appeared and was able to prove himself. The reasoning is that humans have faults, all of his past behavior would be negative new to Bitcoin, any action he makes forward would be an issue and then people would focus on his thoughts about the coin. Not having a known creator is a huge boon for Bitcoin.
There is no way it will hurt bitcoin in any way, it is a decentralized open source system and none of the past problems of the creator will haunt the entire system even if there is a problem. Even if he comes back the main advantage would be that he might have a solution for the scaling issues we are facing, if he could create something that is revolutionary he might have a solution for that too.
833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: May 19, 2018, 07:26:42 PM
" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"
I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
The main difference between a centralized fiat currency and bitcoin is that, fiat valuation is done by the government and the central bank where as the value of a decentralized coin is agreed by the users, right now it is a speculative coin and we need to use this as a currency to have a wider adaptation.
834  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 5K? Future price discussion! on: May 18, 2018, 09:44:19 PM
1 thing that I learned from forex is that market has its rules and if you will not respect them - you are going to end up with no money.
What rules are you talking about, in every market be it forex or bitcoin the price depends on the demand.

Quote
The fact that bitcoin could fall to 5k is an amazing thing!
It will give very sturdy support to the future 36-40k upward movement!
The fact itself that we are bearish right now is very good!
It is not amazing to see the price falling below $5k, it simply means that there is less demand and more coins circulating in the market and people are not willing to purchase the coin, you can call it an opportunity for everyone to purchase the coin, but that is the fact and it does not have any correlation to the next rally.
835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't care about the price now. Nobody knows how much my portfolio is worth on: May 18, 2018, 03:14:01 PM
If you keep the etherium or bitcoin, you can forget about them for a few years, as these are reliable crypto coins. But if a new generation coin suddenly appears with very great prospects and you do not have time to purchase it in time, then you can lose money.
Investing and holding the coins for the long terms is one thing, but any investor would monitor the market constantly on what the market situation would be, there is no interesting technology that is better than bitcoin right now.

Nobody knows how much my portfolio is worth. I will hold for a few years. I am not going to sell now, even if it were 10x more than it is now, so why would I care for the price now?
People who started using bitcoin in 2013 also have a lot of coins in their portfolio and nobody here is bragging about it too. Tongue I am also not having any plans to sell anything right now.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Staying away from Bitcoin for 5 years on: May 17, 2018, 07:09:58 PM
In 5 years it will be probably replaced by some new coin. Bitcoin is not flawless, so 5 years is a great term. Just don't store them on warm wallets, sure 80% of current exchanges will be closed or hacked)
There might be flaws when it comes to scaling and that is the only hurdle i am seeing now and it will be sorted by implementing the lightning network, the exchange hacks are a major issue and hopefully there will be a solution in the coming years, the only thing you need to look is to store you coins in your private wallet than keeping them in exchanges if you are not trading.
837  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin plays a vital role in the economy on: May 17, 2018, 01:03:02 PM
In whole world more people have more ways to save taxes. Some are legal and some illegal. So Bitcoin is not only one. Second thing is some government get strict and has full eye on Bitcoin transaction. Because of it getting hard to hidden income by Bitcoin.
If a government regulates bitcoin then it will be hard to invade tax, with it as long as you convert the coin to your fiat currency, the advantage is that we will have more control about our financials because no government can tax me for the assets stored in bitcoin.
838  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: May 13, 2018, 07:41:21 PM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency. What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?
If there is a demand from the customers, then any merchants will start accepting bitcoin or any other altcoin, we had many stores that accepted bitcoin but now the number of stores are really low after the transaction charges went higher last year but even after the activation of segwit and lower fees, i thought the merchants will start accepting it once again, but it looks like we need to wait for a longer period.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will kill Ethereum? on: May 12, 2018, 06:49:03 PM
There is a main difference between Waves and ETH. ETH has all the developers right now behind them and they are the first mover for dApps. It's always hard to kill the first mover. Same applies to Bitcoin.
It is not always about the first coin in the market, if there is a solution which is better than ETH they will over come and be the market leader, we have more experience in the past when it comes to Yahoo and other major companies, when the best tech and better solution comes, the old one will move out.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: May 12, 2018, 06:16:53 PM
We used different deposit methods and there was a lot of fees in the past. What is the link between crypto moneys use and online gambling?
If you are talking about fiat based online gambling and crypto based online gambling sites, yes the crypto gambling has exploded after 2014 and it gives users the ability to gamble online without any issue, earlier there was a situation where it will be difficult to fund with fiat currencies because most of the countries block the transfer of funds.
