821  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit disabling account and confiscating balance of $410 on: September 08, 2023, 11:31:53 AM
so did op got his money back or what?
If his money was not refunded or a common ground agreed upon, I am pretty sure he would have continued to bump this thread and not go quiet for all that time, which is a little over 2 months now. The unfortunate part is he did not come back to update us as he head promised, so we are just basing on the assumption that he was satisfied with the outcome.
If I get my money paid out I will ofcourse update this scam accusation and change it to resolved.
822  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Get a virtual Coinramp Visa card in USD and EURO on: September 07, 2023, 11:45:20 PM
Nice to see another virtual card service that supports crypto deposits, but the fee seems to be too much for my liking, especially those monthly charges and Card loading fee. Maybe because I currently use some virtual Mastercard service that also supports crypto doesn't have such fees.
Otherwise, different businesses have different ways of operating. That is just my feedback/observation.
823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Indicator for Trading in Stock Market on: September 07, 2023, 11:19:14 PM
"Best Indicator for Trading in Stock Market" says who?

YouTube has hundreds of such silly videos. No proof of it being the best, no proper back testing results, no live results to prove that the indicator or trading strategy works, but someone will boldly publish a video of a useless indicator with such a title for the sake of getting views and I believe the above video is aimed at the same. It was just published yesterday, so I won't even bother opening it to see because I know the kind of content that is in there.

824  Economy / Gambling / Re: OXBET ITS NOT RELATED TO 1XBET or 1Xbit? on: September 07, 2023, 10:57:39 PM
If you go to their official thread, they say that they are not affiliated to any casino linked to them, 1xbet and 1xbit in particular, and I am believing them for now. 1xbit, 1xbet and all those scam casinos we have uncovered in the past are owned by 1X Corp N.V and all of them have a common characteristic of holding onto customers' winnings and claiming they breached certain terms and conditions they never mention and the closing the account.

As far as I know, the name was taken from the first characters of Ethereum addresses.

I also managed to find out that 0XBet Casino is part of the Casbit group, which includes other casinos such as JustBit and TrueFlip
825  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: COMMUNITY HORRIFIED BY PLAN TO BURN TIRES TO PRODUCE BITCOIN not a good situatio on: September 07, 2023, 10:43:33 PM
what would you do if a big bitcoin mining farm opened up right next to your house and thick black smoke was billowing up and enveloping your entire property 24/7? you wouldn't like bitcoin very much in that case i can guarantee you.
How many factories do it every year and pollute both your air and water anyway? Do you end up using the same products?

Nothing new here. Except that it's talking about Bitcoin. Now that's on huge ass headline that will make climate activists' blood boil  Grin
And please read my statement again, I did not say i support the burning of tires. My issue is the stupid current double standards.
826  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone Loan using My Account on: September 07, 2023, 10:24:15 PM
Good day Shashan,

I know doesn't having a job makes me suffer with this debt, I just changed my wallet address in signature campaign for a while to cater to my expenses, and based on our conversation I will send the payment this coming week. As you can see I keep updating you once I send the funds
I think what he is trying to say is that communicate to him in case of any changes and once you guys come into an agreement, you can also make an update in this thread rather than just do things quietly.

Try to do like what this member did when his wallet containing signature campaign payment funds got hacked until when you completely solve your problem. You are in a hard situation, but you can achieve it.

@suchmoon & @ibminer

ny2cafuse has been inactive for 602 days [BPIP - (Active 602 days ago)] - Archive [1] [2] there seems to be a gltich in BPIP as they came online 6/27/2023 10:07:51 PM    password reset via secret question however, BPIP does not reflect their recent activity.  Might be a glitch in BPIP ??
It's probably because he just reset the password via secret question but new came online if you look at his profile, he was last active on January 12, 2022, 04:01:44 PM and his last post was on March 17, 2021, 04:38:26 PM

In order for BPIP, to detect if the account woke up after long, the profile has to make a new post. This is what I have always known happens.
828  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [project] LoyceV's Profile and Trust Archive site - Active and updated! on: September 07, 2023, 09:34:19 PM
Sorry for bumping this topic... it happens to talk about some archives.

@LoyceV, I don't know if I was daydreaming at that time or not, but it's like I saw you had some archiving tool for the forum's seclog after certain time intervals and had a record of the archives somewhere on your website, though I can't see any link?
Any pointers?
829  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BconGlobal non-custodial direct to wallet crypto gateway on: September 07, 2023, 08:50:44 PM
I think your website needs a tour guide in the user dashboard once a user is logged into their accounts for the first time on how to get started or how it works. Also, the spelling and grammatical mistakes should be polished up to help a user have a quick understanding of the platform

For example, this; under my wallet

I believe you wanted to say "you have not added any store yet"

The merchant dashboard tab is blank... why?
830  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Etoro wallet pending transaction 28days on: September 07, 2023, 07:59:56 PM
Hello, I’ve got a pending transaction that’s been stuck for 28 days

Etoro are no help at all, there are no tools to add fees to the transaction to push it through and it’s not been rejected. I’m at a loss on what to do.

Any help would be gratefully received.

What the hell?

Which type of exchange still sets the fee rate at 1 sat/vbyte?  Grin
No RBF, No segwit adoption. This should definitely be the last time you use Etoro for trading crypto. I had never seen a transaction go beyond approximately 2 weeks without getting purged out of the mempool
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: September 05, 2023, 11:51:38 PM
@logfiles why Haaland no captain? A waste!
I actually thought he's going to blank more often because of the Kevin De Bruyne injury, but it looks like he is starting to do well with the Like of Foden. Not having him in my squad earlier on paid off only once (game week 2)  Grin

22nd on the leaderboard and I am not proud of it. I need to do better next GW.
There is still room for improvement. It's currently still possible for you to Jump from 22 to top 10 in just a single good game week.
832  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: COMMUNITY HORRIFIED BY PLAN TO BURN TIRES TO PRODUCE BITCOIN not a good situatio on: September 05, 2023, 11:33:25 PM
You gotta love the current chaos and dramas our world has gotten too  Grin

Not that I support the tire burning plan but the fact that it says something about mining Bitcoins, then boom! A huge headline!
How many tires have been burnt before aimlessly anyway? hahaha

Everything about this world is a joke these days, from the noisy activists to those who do anything silly just to make some money.
833  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome on: September 05, 2023, 11:13:12 PM
I am new to MAC OS and I have been struggling to find an answer to my query. I hope someone helps me with the process of getting it activated on my Safari Browser. I am aware I can download Chrome and Firefox and get it installed. I can do that but I don't like them and that is why I am asking this question.

Thanks.
You are going to choose between just downloading one of those browsers you hate, or having to go through a nightmare of searching through different YouTube channels to see if you can actually manage to add chrome or Firefox extensions onto your Safari.

I have no Apple product to test this, but there is a YouTube video taking about adding Chrome extensions to your safari browser. However, you are going to need some specific requirements

834  Economy / Gambling / Re: Richy.casino - iGaming & Sports Betting. 💰up to $20k deposit bonus, free spins on: September 05, 2023, 10:53:32 PM
I'm not allowed in, but good luck with your business. Not going to risk it with a VPN.

Out of curiosity, if you allow VPN use, how are you going to know if the account got stolen or not? Casinos usually don't allow people to use these services because it allows them to monitor the IPs and lock withdrawals if they're made from a different location than the one a player registered from. This may become an issue for you later on.
I am not even worried about stolen account. What i suspect might happen with VPN usage is abuse of bonuses and multi-accounting, and maybe playing from restricted Jurisdictions. How Richy.casino is going to curb some abuses? I don't know, but it's going to be full of chaos. We shall have even innocent users getting accused of having multiple accounts.

<...>
If they take too long to sort you out, then you might wanna think about opening up a scam accusation in the dedicated board.

I am sorry, before we get to the real problem. Is DunkGambler your other alt account?
I couldn't help but notice a similar pattern when you made this post

Though I've been an avid follower of this forum for years, this is my first time taking the initiative to participate actively and voice my concerns. I believe that our community thrives on transparency and shared experiences, and today I aim to contribute to that collective knowledge.

There is another thing that has been bugging me with the way some casinos request for KYC. If I don't agree to the KYC terms, is it in order for the casino to hold my funds as ransom until I provide the said documents?
What about sending the funds back to me and they just close/lock the account and I never get to use their platform again?

Some exchanges do this all the time. If you don't agree to their KYC terms, the only active option you have in your account is the withdrawal button. I think casinos should adopt this too instead of this endless rope pulling.
836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: screening coins on: September 05, 2023, 09:32:04 PM
You can use bitscreener as an alternative for crypto screener, it shows a simple small chart overview for every coin. You may know which crypto is in consolidation mode and which is in a trend.
Op is looking for screeners with lower time frames. The lowest I have seen with bitscreener is 1 hour, which OP already complains about

1. quantifycrypto.com/coin-screener used to do well for me when it was free, but one has to pay for it now
2. altfins.com/crypto-screener also offers 15 minute time frame percentage changes. Some features need to be paid for as well
837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funding rate on: September 05, 2023, 10:17:11 AM
By this, you can close your position with a draw and enjoy funding fee if you are in a side of short will be pay by long and long will be paid by short in that 8-hours.

It's not too much but if you can, you should close your position because after each 8 hours, market can have big movement, up or down maybe we don't certainly know. So it is safe to close our position before it moves and it's also good if we can earn small from funding fee.
You can earn some profit if the funding rate is abnormal and if the market does not go against your open position during that short time. Imagine having the balls to long and yet the market is dumping with some long red candle sticks all for the sake of earning that profit from the funding rate.

Also, it is very hard to predict what the next funding rate might be, it could be negative or positive. Things change in a flash.

You can’t make any money this way. Believe me I tried. What will happen is the funding rate will be near identical on all the exchanges.

Even if it is off by a little, you got basically 4 fees you will need to pay which will clear any profits. You would need to pay fees to open and close the trades twice on both exchanges.
In volatile situations, the funding rates of different shitcoin perpetual contracts in different exchanges can get abnormal, especially exchanges with not so good liquidity. It's possible to make profits if it goes over 1% and the trader is using high leverage, but of course there is a thin line between making profits and losses

Which exchange is that? I am using more than 5 exchanges and all of them have 8 hours range funding rate.
I think it was Kraken, though I haven't used it in a while.

Apparently, even DYDX have an hourly rate.
838  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Stake.com on: September 04, 2023, 11:26:27 PM
But the section the support quoted; Prohibited uses is Section 14 and not section 4. Also under prohibited uses there are a number of them, so they didn't specify.

1. Did you use VPN to access or register your account?
2. Are you from a restricted jurisdiction?
3. Did you have multiple accounts on stake.com?

Read through their terms section 14 and try to figure out what terms you breached

Also, there are reports that Stake.com has been hacked a huge amount of funds, around $41M - https://twitter.com/watcherguru/status/1698722028197400752

if it's true, then it really so sad for them.
839  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funding rate on: September 04, 2023, 10:47:23 PM
This is one of the disadvantage of using shot coins to trade, because the funding fee can be high. I have been deducted over $200 before because of the funding fee of a shit coin on the future market.
It's because so many people anticipate shitcoins to dump once they have pumped. So the funding rate ends up being negative and abnormally huge Grin

So short positions pay long positions in this scenario.

If I close the position before the time stated, the exchange will not deduct anything?

I think the fee will not be deducted if I close the position before the next 8 hours began. What do you think?
Funding fee is deducted only every 8 hours or 1 hour (I remember an exchange that would charge hourly, but it was a few years back). Any position opened and closed between the funding rate hours won't be charged the funding fee.

It's very unfortunate that I miss Majestic 7 and there is nothing I can do to be able to play it because my current jurisdiction appears to be blocked by FortuneJack  Cry . Back in the day, it was fun playing majestic 7 every other match day. I remember winning some mBTC a couple of times just out of pure fun.
