821  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Meet AssetX - The future of asset markets 💸 on: September 21, 2023, 12:48:23 AM
It doesn't relate to Bitcoin. AssetX is an exchange that facilitates the trading of both digital and traditional assets, with Bitcoin being just one of them. This industry, though it may appear old, is actually in its infancy and requires significant development.
If that's the case, maybe you should move or make a new thread on Service Announcement or Service Discussion, depending on what you want to do with your thread. Judging from how you manage this thread, it seems like making a thread on Service Discussion is better. If you want to focus on talking about your token, then the Altcoin board is probably another option.
822  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable wallet {User experiences} on: September 21, 2023, 12:31:03 AM
ave anyone tried the timelock, it says experimental at the moment, it also has news which, I think also helps when you want to see which coins will have an uptrend because of news good features, ill try later to transfer funds.
Are you familiar with timelock transactions or not? Maybe you should read some threads related to it before you try it. I don't see the point of making an experiment with it unless you have some need to make timelock-related transactions, especially if you're not that familiar with how it works. Not to mention they labeled it as an experimental feature. I'd rather wait and see until it becomes stable.
823  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Notable apps that can accept BTC for premium subscription packages. on: September 21, 2023, 12:11:45 AM
I've also use this app to get eSIM, they Algeria, Australia and also Global too, they have access to cool hotel offers, like bonus offers, I don't think anything matches the level of this app, they accept BTC, USDT, and some other altcoins too.
I don't think OP is referring to a service like Bitrefill. Judging from how he asks if there is any app that offers a subscription with BTC, OP is looking for a service like Spotify that accepts BTC. I do agree that he probably needs to expand his target if he wants to spend or use his BTC.

VPN service by nature is quite friendly with crypto since using fiat can expose the user info (which is probably a negative thing for most of their customers). While other services are starting to accept BTC, most of them also require KYC aggressively.
824  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Notable apps that can accept BTC for premium subscription packages. on: September 20, 2023, 01:32:20 AM
On the same topic, I have a proposal. What if we all start hitting up app developers whenever we fancy upgrading to their premium versions and ask them to accept Bitcoin payments?
Maybe this has to do with the Play Store policy. They also need to set up a payment processor which can add more fees, and even if they decide to use open-source software they still need to weigh the cost and time to do that. I do use stores that accept crypto, although most of them are marketplace and not an app. Some games that are not listed on the Play Store also accept crypto. Based on this I believe the key reason why not all apps accept BTC or crypto is simply because the profit is not that much for them, hence why there is no incentive to do so. CMIIW.
825  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S don't work on: September 20, 2023, 01:22:55 AM
I Use macOS Monterey 12.6.9
the new cable don't solve the problem.
Any new update or something on your Mac? I ran the same version on my Macbook Air and I can access my Ledger just fine. It is really difficult to find out the cause if there is no other diagnosis. Try to run a live OS as mentioned above or use a Windows laptop or something to see if your Mac is the problem or your Ledger is dead. CMIIW.
826  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable wallet {User experiences} on: September 20, 2023, 12:41:39 AM
I have this weird issue where sometimes Unstoppable Wallet is very slow on syncing or even fails when there is no change with my internet connection. I also failed to connect to Tor. One solution is to restart the app but sometimes it does not work. Not sure what exactly is the issue here. Is there any way to see the logs to figure out what is wrong with the app?
827  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Whats your thoughts: Next-Gen Bitcoin Mining Machine With 1X Efficiency Rating. on: September 20, 2023, 12:26:28 AM
What kind of thoughts are you looking for exactly? I mean, if miners can find new hardware that is more efficient then they'll definitely buy them. If the aftersales and services are good, that can also increase the appeal of the hardware. It is basically how the market works in general, no matter what product is being sold on the market.

But if they claim something ridiculous like a new algorithm that can increase profit by 250% then most of us would ridicule them.
828  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Meet AssetX - The future of asset markets 💸 on: September 20, 2023, 12:12:19 AM
So how does this relate to Bitcoin? As far as I can see your project is basically another attempt at tokenized asset exchanges that use altcoin to issue and trade the tokens. Is there any plan to use Bitcoin to secure the network or anything like that?

Personally, I've seen some projects trying to do the same thing and most of them have failed. Demand for tokenized assets is not good enough while the market risk is too high. For example, there is little to no guarantee that the user can even redeem the underlying asset if they own a lot of tokens. I don't think you can solve it by slapping Bitcoin in any part of your project.
829  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S don't work on: September 19, 2023, 01:45:19 AM
I have try all that. Like Restart the computer and delete the cache.
Does the error still relate to websocket error when you try to connect to other apps like Electrum? I searched through their social media and it seems some users encounter this error when they have a problem accessing the Ledger backend. Not sure how it would translate if you try to use other apps though. What OS are you running right now? Maybe you can diagnose it more if you can use another device to connect your Ledger.

I guess the only option left is to export your seeds and move to another hardware wallet/air-gapped device if you can't fix your Ledger at all. CMIIW.
830  Economy / Economics / Re: Use of clean energy in bitcoin mining and its impact on: September 19, 2023, 01:22:43 AM
If a miner is connected to the grid and the grid is owner by a government who is ecologically conscious, then the miner may get into green energy without even noticing. (Hopefully they may not notice through an increase on their electricity bills an drop on profitability).
Is there any government that is like that though? As far as I know, some governments who use renewable energy only supplies it in limited amount. At least in developing countries. I might be wrong but I remember reading news about how some miners are blocked by electricity companies even though they use wind to generate energy due to how demanding it is.

I guess miners who have the capital would rather build their own electricity supply instead of relying on government/centralized electricity companies that prioritize regular customers. Some miners might be able to claim that their activity is similar to other businesses, but then their profit might be affected too since their rates can be higher than the norm. CMIIW.
831  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do we get the completed posts payment. on: September 19, 2023, 12:53:29 AM
I wasn't the dick move but living the both campaign without waiting to weekend was the dick move,
You might be referring to campaign hopping, where a user registers to a new campaign or another campaign so quickly that it might be a hassle for the manager to keep changing the sheet. Sure, some managers dislike it and even temporarily ban you from participating in their campaign for a while, but there is nothing wrong with switching campaigns after you've participated for a month or so. After all, you're the one risking yourself if the new campaign turns out to be short-term, not getting paid on time, etc.

Btw, I suggest not moving from one campaign to another just for a slight payment increase, especially if the campaign is new with a manager that has no track records in the future.

I learned from mistake that; do not leave the campaign until the week ends, and this is not written in any signature campaign clearly like
Some rules don't have to be written. You can always use some common sense to decide if you can leave you out of payment or not.
832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why BTC react its price in the market in terms of Increase and Decrease value? on: September 19, 2023, 12:30:30 AM
USD and in my personal experience I have observed that when the price of BTC decreases or increases the price of USD also decreases and increases. Let's say one the price of BTC decreases then the USD prices will be higher for a person who use USD as second currency. (that's a good benefit plus point for us).
What do you mean by a USD price increase? Are you referring to USDT or stablecoins in general or fiat exchange values? I never heard people saying that BTC is the cause of USD price movement, or how it affects USD-(other fiat) value. I think it is just a coincidence that your local currency rate changes when BTC prices move, especially when the market is so volatile.

Even if you believe there is an impact on the USD inflation rate, I doubt it is anything significant. The US unemployment rate, interest rate, etc. are more likely to affect it.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges allow you to trade derivatives even though it ban in your country on: September 19, 2023, 12:04:45 AM
For instance, GMX.io or ApoloX are decent exchanges with a good history and the worst thing that may happen is that you need a VPN to access the site if it gets banned.
I checked ApoloX and it seems they already have a list of banned countries. I don't think you can call them decentralized, especially if you're from the US. Not to mention the recent case of some 'decentralized services' that were fined by the SEC. On the other hand, I don't see the UK on the list so it can be an option. I'd suggest looking for a better platform or more decentralized service since the law can easily change in the future.
834  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: Coinbase melakukan pengintegrasian Lightning Network on: September 18, 2023, 02:04:42 AM

835  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Anget] Yang Punya BUSD, Segera Dikonversi! on: September 18, 2023, 01:39:55 AM
https://etherscan.io/token/0xc5f0f7b66764F6ec8C8Dff7BA683102295E16409#code saya belum menemukan kode
Code:
"freezingenabled": true
836  Local / Marketplace (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: CARA MEMBUAT AKUN JUALAN DI AMAZON on: September 18, 2023, 01:27:15 AM

837  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Q&A] Tanya Jawab Seputar Forum Disini/Ask about this forum here! on: September 18, 2023, 12:48:20 AM
Memang agak ribet kalau agan ingin multi-quote.
838  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] Informasi Phishing, Malware, Virus Dst (WAJIB BACA) on: September 18, 2023, 12:19:44 AM

839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are telegram bots for trade worth it? on: September 16, 2023, 01:15:01 AM
But for profit maybe we can't rely on those bots since no program yet release some promising result to the people who use it so maybe we should forget about automatic profit from this and just learn from those information you can get there.
I think this can be said for any bot since your config will affect the results. Even a slight change to the timeframe might affect how much you make over the long run. I don't think it is healthy to expect continuous profit regardless of what kind of bots/tools you use.
840  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: catex.io & dex-trade.com on: September 15, 2023, 02:08:58 AM
I also joined their official Telegram group, which is very active. Then I tried to ask some questions like why I can't transfer my tokens to any address and why their website still has the ICO page open. After that they blocked me on Telegram.
That sounds really odd. If the group is that active how can there be little to no activity on their marketing side? Sounds like they just hired a bunch of bots to keep the group alive and scam people. The fact that they still use ICO to attract users is also a red flag since most of them are dead nowadays. I'd suggest to burn them if it is a scam. Help others and yourself from being scammed by them.
