its the time to say good bye i bought 1 from amazon its 5000$ d3 and another one from bitmain direct 1500 $ the 5000$ come today and the 1500$ i use it for 1 weak for aprofit of 2 dollar aday i dont want this noisy heater so i decided to switch it OFF thx bitshit for ur product
I'm sorry you got duped by a reseller on Amazon. This could be a very useful, albeit expensive, lesson for you. That said, don't blame Bitmain. Take some responsibility for not doing the proper research beforehand before jumping in. M It's the snowflake way, it's always someone else's fault!! I have 4 coming in, and I know it's MY FAULT for ordering them. No one forced me to do it!! So I'll deal with it.

If you'd read about the chips inside the D3, you'd know what you're asking is not possible. Baikal have been designed this way, you cannot physically change these chips to allow other algos. Probably you are right and I am wrong , technically But bitmain must know its fault and should do something if it is possible. May be, they will reconsider their sale policy , aspect of customers rights Would not it be great injustice to continue as if nothing had happened? They are still selling L3+ anyway They dont have rights to kill customers investement . This is about customer rights , Not chips. My dude, if you're a miner, and a serious one at that, you know the risks you're exposing yourself to. There was an incredible influx of newbs that came along with the D3, people that heard about mining 3 days prior to sending money to bitmain probably. These people gotta learn the hard way that you're not getting a money printing machine. And, as with anything that involves financial motivations, there are risks. And rewards. The latter not so much with the D3, but it is what it is. I also have one and I couldn't say I'm happy about the situation, but I knew what I was getting into at least. Made a decent amount in september though, so there's that. I'm also frustrated with the current situation. I checked out your petition and I'm wondering if it is even possible to repurpose these miners to hash different algos? Actually it is pretty technical issue which I can not claim exactly. But we all know that Baikal has announced to add 2 more algo for their miner. Of course it does not mean that this could be the same for our case. Probably totally different issues both hardware and software I prefer to hear it from the company as an official statement. At present, 91 people have signed this proposal. https://www.change.org/p/https-twitter-com-bitmaintech-d3-antminer-firmware-update-for-additional-mining-algorithms?recruiter=831205993&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=share_petitionI think the bitmain owes us at least an offical explanation about that . Yea, Baikal are FPGA based and Bitmain are ASIC, you are comparing apples to oranges.

I signed the petition. I don't know if bitmain really care about the situation. But I think they don't have a good reputation now...
They haven't had a good reputation for quite some time. This is not new. M But us sheep line up to buy their miners!!!

The thing with this "gold rush" to cryptocurrencies and mining in general is that 95%+ of people entering the market this year DO NOT understand what they are buying into. Like 3 out of 5 people I spoke to in person in regards to crypto wanted to start a bloody ICO to raise millions for some idea that could be accomplished for thousands. The amount of "stupid" in this industry has reached an all time high. It will take time for everyone to learn.
Especially for mining. Someone buys a D3 and expects it to mine Litecoin. Then they ask why it doesn't work. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY SOMETHING.
Yep you see sponsored ads, make millions in crypto. Bitcoin has been in the news with the price over $7K, people think this is easy, I can retire in 6 months!! LOL

...and probably in January iBeLink will release 100GH/s model for 2200 dollars and we all be f..k..d...
We call this a "Unicorn Miner". You'll never see one in real life. Well, I see 22 GH/s model every day, can actually sell you for 5k as many as you want... 22 to 100 is a HUGE leap. NO WAY they sell that for 2200 for one and what kind of PSU is that thing gonna need?? What will the Watt draw be?? I'm calling "bullshit" on Ibelink. ohh, no I personally saw 100GH/s model, not a big difference from 22 GH/s model. 22 has 4 modules 100 has 16 and different power supply. BTW, do you know iBeLink has hot-swap? You can take out 1 module from working miner without turning off and put a new one. This is worthless without video proof OK, next time I'll need to make a hot-swap I'll make a video But on the end of the day, it's all about how much it will really cost. You can make a 500 GH/s model, but if a price more than 1k per 10GH/s nobody will buy it. So you have one of these in hand? Post pictures

Hi guys,
Any suggestions for most profitable Scrypt multipool at the moment, anything giving better profits than Nicehash?
Prohashing when it works..is like your hot mess supermodel girlfriend...when it works its great..when it does not you are beyond despondent I keep hanging in there...because mining x11 and scrypt all to LTC...I figure by the time I figure fees to mine BTC and convert and etc I'd pretty much be in the same boat ..multipool wise IT however was crap yesterday..sometimes they refund some hash back....we will see LMAO!!! Well said!! HAHAHAHA! My miners are showing it Dead now. Mining away on the backup pool

Guys cheer up. your in before "the man" lol
stop complaining and "plug it in"
So true, no one says you have to mine Dash. Pick a shitcoin and hope the price goes up!!

Wow great but like somebody said by the time we get it and start using the speed may not be the same as now.
Yep, we're all idiots!!

What makes you think you have any rights there? this is not a fucking cell phone which they can produce and sell witohout limit. is it realy so hard to understand for you ? Sure it is, there is no law saying they can't produce millions of them. If people (us) are still buying them, they will still produce them. Why wouldn't they? In a year they will produce newer/faster models and the cycle will start all over again. People that get in on the 1st batch will make money and everyone else seeing how much money they are making will jump on the bandwagon and get screwed. What make you think Bitmain gives a rat's ass about your rights, they are in business to make money. surely there is no law violation, absolutely but as the biggest firm in the market, we have to ask Bitmain to comply with some ethical rules. Only they can anticipate the increase in difficulty and take the necessary precautions( like to not selling too much) In order for the market to be sustainable, it is necessary to stick to a simple rule like not killing algorithims actually, The only purpose is to emphasize this issue As a newbie you haven't seen this cycle yet. When gridseed came out with the 5 chip miners, people jumped all over them. Then the next shiny toy came out, old product got dumped and new miners were bought. This cycle has been going on for years. In a year a faster miner will come out to even the playing field and everyone will be jumping all over it. It's supply and demand, Bitmain puts them up for sale (they don't even have them yet), let's say 20,000 units. In a couple days all units are sold. Rinse and repeat. If people are still buying them why shouldn't they make them?

stop this. the D3 can NOT do any other algo. I know. It's not my petition. But anyway let bitmain know our opinion. Like they care, they already have your money. For those of us who have been mining a while, there is always risk, there has always been risk. If you can't deal with it you shouldn't be mining. I know I have 4 of these coming in soon, I know they are going to sell at a loss. But you lick your wounds and keep on mining.

Once you actually place the order you'll get sent an address where to send the BitCH crapcoin for payment.
Exchange your BTC first, because if the order expires you're screwed
