8281  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinRush.io - Bitcoin Sportsbook, and Casino (Lower Minimum Wager Amounts) on: January 17, 2018, 07:32:20 PM
Dear admin,

I created a new account about two weeks ago and deposited today to play. The very first game I tried was Hi-Lo, but when the screen loaded, Nothing happened. I clicked Deal, but no other option came up and I could not click anything (there was a no entry symbol when I hover the mouse across options). So anyway I left the screen but found on the next load that 1 mBTC had been deducted from my deposit balance. So now I do not want to proceed with anything in case. Should I be worried to try another game again?

My username is LeahLeet

I'm taking a look, and will get you a refund for that game!

Thank you very much! I saw that my deposit balance has been restored to normal. But is it safe for me to try play the games again? Or perhaps I would like to bet on a sports bet, will this be okay for my account now? I have one comment on the sportsbook, it looks nice and good odds but the only problem is it takes a long time to load, so when I click on wager, it keeps asking me to reload. I do not want to have to trouble you again if something goes wrong. Do you know what happened the first time? I just want to be safe before I proceed.
8282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO - The Ethereum of China (Invest before you regret) on: January 17, 2018, 04:53:11 PM
Disappointed also that I did not move quickly into NEO. I stayed away when some people who invested regretted, and then even many sold off. Some were even doubly disappointed after redpulse ICO also went down. Wish I did not research as long as I did, or I might have not gotten afraid to invest.

Too late now? Good dip or will it fall further? Will China news affect Bitcoin and now NEO too? Ethereum of China, I still do not know where to move or if I should even!
8283  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] | 🔥 Coinpayments.net Signature Campaign 🔥 | 84% SegWit | on: January 17, 2018, 01:36:05 PM
Dear Lauda,

I think I express the satisfaction of everyone in this campaign when I say thank you and well done for a very smooth management thus far. I am unable as yet to move to full native SegWit but I hope my address is sufficient for now. I hope you will also encourage other campaign managers to implement Coinpayment changes across BCT campaigns: biweekly payments and SegWit payments. Maybe we will all help move the industry towards full SegWit implementation.

On a selfish note, I upgraded just today to Senior Member, so have changed my signatures to reflect this.

8284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best privacy coin? on: January 17, 2018, 01:31:11 PM
All Coins are created equal. But I like Zcash coin. Zcash is the first open, permission less cryptocurrency that can fully protect the privacy of transactions using zero-knowledge cryptography.

Actually, that is not very true. Of course not all coins are equal - unless you only see them as currency. But you are of course expressing a valid point: beyond all the slight differences in technology, almost all crypto owners hold different alts in their portfolio but can only differentiate them in price. For me the need of the user is most important.

I do want a coin that protects my privacy and yet I also want to be able to use my coin to buy my favorite things. I like Zcash concept but do I really need it? I already have Monero and my XMR can be used at my favorite merchants.
8285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: January 17, 2018, 12:36:04 PM
After today, we should feel very lucky if see it again at $1 000 and $10 000 will be a f* miracle.

Now I will be even more picky for my ICOs.

I can still remember how ETH struggled past $400, reaching it once and then taking so much effort to reach it again two more times. But once it made its second ATH around $500, it did not stop so easily. $1000 was always going to be the problem area, just look at Bitcoin and remember it took it two years to recover and go past $2000. It may very well take the same effort, if not more, from ETH.

At the same time, you never know. If Bitcoin moves back to 20k and beyond, ETH will definitely catch up to 2k.

8287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: January 16, 2018, 01:44:31 PM
Anyone who follows what I say about ICOs know that the very first thing I ask or criticize is the lack of product. To me ICOs that launch or projects that talk about idea without even a working prototype have no right to ask people to give them money to work. People forgot that all the early projects had developers dedicate their lives to building something that they believed in and never needed any money to do it. Refer to Bitcoin, refer to Litecoin, refer to Dogecoin even.

I can 100% understand ICOs that need to expand businesses, or hire new people to do something big, but only to build on something they already know works and they know communities love.

But cannot blame them, after all, so many investors here willing to invest in hype.
8288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: January 16, 2018, 12:23:46 PM
Isn't it too much for joke based Bitcoin clone? With their supply price of $1/coin places Doge even before XRP. That looks ridiculous as for me.

Same here. It is unbelievable to see dogecoin making such moves. But I am happy for its true holders and supporters. Dogecoins has a good community and it was one of the cheap coins that hepled me understand and do some transactions in order to learn how cryptocurrencies work.

What is "too much" in the world of crypto anyway? People made Jesuscoin and uselessethereumtoken and they still made almost hundreds of thousands of dollars. At least these were upfront about being a joke, just like Dogecoin. And Dogecoin has helped many charities, helped people make it to the Olympics, donated food and money, all from a joke coin. what has some of the corporate coins done for humanity? Hot air, promises and taking millions in profit for nothing resembling the idea of crypto.

May Doge always be here and always be strong. It helped me get to where I am too.
8289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Chinese BTC miners decimate price? on: January 16, 2018, 09:04:48 AM
Well, they have had their long run and the signs were showing months ago when state electricity branches started issuing their own notices to prevent discounted hydro electricity. But the bigger ones like Bitmain already have long term deals of several years in place so they will hold on to high profits for now. Low Bitcoin prices just means miners will hold longer to wait for more profits, but maybe this will also mean a slow down in growing hash power?

As we can see the market moves up and down, regardless of what type of news we think can affect it. Very interesting times to watch indeed.
8290  Economy / Speculation / Re: NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY!! on: January 16, 2018, 08:29:10 AM
now is the (latest) time to sell you fools
I really want to keep a log of all the people like you who have posted: last time to sell now, so I can send you all a personal message at the end of this year asking how big the regret you feel is. I expect to see hundreds though, so will not waste my time on that.

Dips are normal, the correction has not completed. People are still cashing in on alts, the fever of ICOs will not be over soon. All that is creating sellers of Bitcoin who want to invest in ICOs with popular ETH. Patience is required but Bitcoin is showing very strong value buys right now.
8291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and ETH are Shitcoins on: January 15, 2018, 05:42:57 PM
Well, any Altcoins except Bitcoin and Ethereum are shit coins as what you're holding right now are shit coins as well.
Why don't you just hold and wait instead of blaming the market flow that made investors and traders rich quick and someday you'll be also.

Right then, why does all the discussion in altcoin section end up with these kinds of words like "Shitcoin" "scam" and all? Bitcoin is not an altcoin first of all, and Ethereum may have been a shitcoin but has long ago moved beyond that.

I do agree that the coin OP is shilling is on the verge of being a shitcoin, but yes,,, hard to feel any sympathy for that kind of post. Does anyone really actually believe BTC and ETH are dead? I would like to meet such people after 5 years.
8292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are deposit codes / yobit codes and how to use them? on: January 15, 2018, 01:55:54 PM
Before you do anything, better change your account passwords and even email if possible. If you were really hacked, you are extremely lucky if all the hacker did was convert your BTC into a voucher. You should just scan your computer or device also to clean it.

To redeem it yourself, just go to your username (left click), the drop down menu you choose "Yobit codes". And then simply redeem it from there. Enter your code value, better do this quickly or someone else can redeem it.
8293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where all buyers are? on: January 15, 2018, 12:38:08 PM
We have read a lot of stories about millions of new registrations on stock exchanges, people are moving to cryptocurrences and its January and almost the entire market is red. I understood some immersion, but it should encourage people to start shopping because the price was much higher than today, but not. Day after day we see the red color. Fall is maybe faster and faster. So I ask where all the new people and money are?! Everybody looking for the x1000 coin, but when no one buys, how you want to achieve that?
If the whole market is under whales and push the whole market down, it hurts everyone. Not just the media that loves to write negatively about cryptocurrency. It will not help anyone. People will be afraid to invest and cryptocurrency get into a recession.
When i will leave now, i will be still in profit, but im disgusted by this all. Maybe i will return to stocks. To may they ara normally rise.

This happened before also in late third and fourth quarters of 2017, you can surely ask around and find people like me, who thought, wow, with all this red marks, surely it is a good time to buy up some alts. I did, many in fact, but then the alt market proceeded to just go redder and redder. Of course, in the past three weeks,,, things have changed. A few coins I was holding for almost six months finally turned to profit, so I sold enough to recover my Bitcoins. Now on overall BTC I am finally in profit, and if I remove my Elastic losses, I am highly in profit.

Do not worry, plenty of buyers like us still around. Dips are good.
8294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best marketing medium for ICO campaign? on: January 14, 2018, 06:57:25 PM
Try to do bounty and signature campaign. It is the most efficient and cost-effective way to do your marketing. Also, this forum is the best for marketing in everything that involves cryptocurrency.

It think that the audience is much better targeted by this forum than anywhere else. Twitter and Facebook are like throwing pamphlets on the air.

Strange but true, is it not? I never really liked bounty campaigns, and are getting even more sick of them with each growing week. But if you look at ICOs, the most successful ones had the best marketing campaigns, and this especially includes good bounties. Even the best bounty hunters with thousands of supporters outreach will not look at a bounty if it is too little. And where else but on this forum? I checked out other forums and whatever they have, BCT has it first. And what BCT has, not every forum has.
8295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum , is it the future ? on: January 14, 2018, 03:18:31 PM
The same scenario or not on Ethereum, it could have been a coincidence or it could have been planned Ethereum could following the price developments scenario like as bitcoin.
Anyhow Ethereum is the one of the most highlight and most important role altcoin in ICO and other investment destinations.
For the likelihood, I think it's possible that Ethereum would be following the bitcoin's price movements due Ethereum seems playing an increasingly important role like as bitcoin to everyone and has been supported by various parties.

Don't know what you are talking about planned developments scenario in terms of price. Ethereum does have a highly centralized leadership and core development, but I do not believe they have any influence on price, if they did it would not have taken them so long to reach the thousand dollar barrier. They are probably disappointed in 2017 a few times, but with 2.0 announcement they are going to be pleased with the performance this year.

And for the first time we see it no longer ties to Bitcoin price developments so it is now fully maturing into its own coin independent of Bitcoin price.
8296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins don't have enough HODLers - sell high & buy low on: January 14, 2018, 12:40:07 PM
Community what is your opinion on this?

I see good projects, I see them growth but as soon as the market is consolidating everybody is making their buck and pull their money out.

As hodler its a true pain in the ass, because you see many good solid projects decreasing by more than 50% and taking ages to get back.

The sad part of this story is that, if you see this happening the next time and you feel the market consolidating, you will just sell high and buy cheap again.

But is this the trend we want to follow? Undecided Huh

True holders do not watch the price. They have either a big price target or a big time target, and only look at their assets at these points. So what you say yes, could be true but not to serious holders. It is a sad situation, that crypto people are 99% profit makers who have zero care about the projects and tech. But blame the projects. They also market themselves as x100 coins through their shills. This is the only trend that people follow. But if you are a true holder, you just keep adding at the dips.
8297  Economy / Speculation / Re: kodakcoin - new dawn or beginning of the end? on: January 14, 2018, 10:43:29 AM
We should blame banksters and economists for that, they all praise "blockchain technology" while they bash Bitcoin, so now we have a strong public opinion that blockchain is revolutionary new tech. They have tried to embrace, extend, extinguish cryptocurrencies, but instead have fueled the dotcom bubble 2.0.  But Bitcoin should be fine, since the very same people have separated Bitcoin from blockchain in their comments, so investor won't automatically assume that they correlate, and when alts and blockchain companies will crash, they won't take Bitcoin with them.

We can sit around blaming people, we can think that only a few of us are the true crypto idealists. But the fact is that decentralization means that anyone can pick up the open source tech of blockchain and configure it to their personal needs. This is what has happened now. With true recognition and mass adoption comes a whole new range of how to view tokens, blockchain and crypto. And as we can see, some of them who used to hate crypto are now embracing it.

They brought crypto price up, so I guess we should thank them. But they will also probably bring on the bubble, unfortunately.
8298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most successful [ICO's] you've ever seen? on: January 14, 2018, 10:18:25 AM
Yeah, what is success? Price? We have not seen enough time yet to see if price will go up or down. Or is it amount of money raised? I bet half of ICOs put in their own money, so others can see "wow what a lot of money raised, it must be good". That is not success, that is manipulation.

For me the most successful ICOs are the ones like Useless Ethereum Token or Useless Waves Token. They wrote a good page. Told the truth (unlike 99% of ICOs) and said they were going to use the money for themselves. And still raised millions.
8299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia LTC and DOGE Market Closing ? on: January 13, 2018, 07:26:02 PM
Answers are all furnished already so I will not address them. I would like to add though, that other than ETH pairs, one more reason LTC and DOGE is popular is because of their low value, but serious traders will never bother. It is those like yobit that can still make profit from Litecoin and Dogecoin trading. In time, they might be seen as the smart ones. I mean, look at how the price of LTC and DOGE have climbed. All those tiny fees and commissions eventually add up.

Cryptopia can do as they please. Stop complaining and move to DEX!
8300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to send tokens from MEW to exchange? on: January 13, 2018, 04:00:05 PM
As everyone says, best option for you is to store tokens on MEW. That is the safest and most secure option (if you yourself practice good behaviors of course). Never, ever, ever, store anything on exchanges unless you want to trade them. Since Crypterium will be listed later, be patient.

Sending tokens from MEW is easy, almost exactly like sending ETH. Just click Send Token, check the token name correctly, enter deposit address, send enough gas (leave the limit as is, but set price to the suggested amount) and send.
