8301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the most promising Decentralized Exchange on: January 13, 2018, 01:17:28 PM
EtherDelta really seemed to take off, but as we can all see they had a lot of problems they are still trying to solve. Waves DEX is still by far my favorite DEX. I know it is really climbing slowly, but if you look at NG and what it can already do, plus all the coming developments for 2018, this has to be the one DEX to capture the market share. Thousands of transactions per minute and that will scale in 2019. Also, $5 million trading volume at the moment is not a bad level to be at.
8302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 13, 2018, 09:52:03 AM
Actually, the price of ETH grow faster than BTC at the time, so I think that ETH can possible reach BTC value

No, it's not possible. Ethereum brings in competition with other altcoins especially from trading perspective. All cryptocurrencies support bitcoin but it has no purpose to compete with it. Bitcoin is like a main source of every altcoins.
I agree with you, there are too far away for ETH reach btc's value, ETH is a smart contract that make it very suitable for ICO token distribution, but ICO may falling in the future when the crypto market is full.

I disagree and agree with everything. Let us take a look at crypto. It does not have the same rules we are all accustomed to. Did anyone say Bitcoin could not reach $4k last year? So many did. Did anyone say it was impossible for Dogecoin to grow? Well, it did. How about Litecoin? Too cheap? Then it became over $300!

At the same rule of possibility, Bitcoin could drop to $1k again. Charlie Lee says Litecoin could again become $20. So maybe one day Eth will be more than BTC, maybe LTC will be more than ETH. It is all possible, and it is all impossible.
8303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [GBYTE] Byteball Speculation on: January 12, 2018, 10:51:13 PM
What is wrong with this guy, does he not want to have 100x todays market cap?[/b]

evidently not. what's more they could prove once and for all that this is a real thing and other projects might do the same thing too, but they won't. byteball has the advantage of being low key and as you said the title not being tied to the unit.

not doing something which only requires a few emails smacks of genuine weirdness to me.

Guys come on. Let Gbyte devs be. They obviously know what they are doing, or we would not even be having this discussion. I am of course incredibly happy to have a coin like Gbyte, whatever you want to call it, byteball or Gbyte. It is nothing wrong, Ripple is XRP, Bitcoin can even be XBT, and so what?

But it really is strange. How can markets suddenly wake up and realize a coin that has always been near the top? Coins like raiblocks okay, always low, and sudden boom. But Gbyte? It has been low key but never out of the radar.
8304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Waves is always low? on: January 12, 2018, 06:02:01 PM
I think Waves is the true Blockchain.
Waves has decentralized exchange, Masternode and it has successfully organized few ICO's.
It is one of the closest competitor of Etherum.
I think they need some better Marketing.

I totally agree with you!

There are projects which you hold short or midterm and there are project in which you believe for the longterm. I still believe WAVES will be very successful in future and I use this actual price
to buy more WAVES. The only best thing is to keep WAVES in the wallet and lease it. Just forget it for a while and keep concentrate to other projects.
2018 will be the year of WAVES so I don't need anymore to think about it.

It is not the only "true" blockchain, there are a few others that also have very solid concepts of blockchain and are in fact really utilizing the innovations we have all come to know. Waves for me will be famous because of its true DEX. Today it is only 5 million dollars trading volume, but that is because Waves is low priced and there are not too many users.

Fastest blockchain around, and no, no need for marketing. Best thing for holder also is just to lease as you said. It will not even earn 1 % in a year but I do not mind.
8305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex Support is out of order! on: January 12, 2018, 04:33:55 PM
Sometimes, I do feel sorry for all these types of accounts. But on the other hand, my entire life, I have never made a mistake that people seem to do all the time:

1. Type wrong name (how do you ever mistype your own name?).
2. Deposit to wrong address. Also, I am always confused by this. Every time I make a deposit, I copy paste the deposit address. I double check, and when you click send, it even asks you to confirm. It takes 2 seconds to double check each time, so a total of 6 seconds if you check 3 times and different stages.

So I do not know if I should feel sorry for people who make these silly mistakes. It starts with your daily life. If you do not care enough, maybe you should not expect others to.
8306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's after Ethereum? on: January 12, 2018, 09:29:03 AM
I agree that the next big thing will be the platform everything is built on. Ethereum will be the first mover, but I have a big feeling one of the other competitors will take the center stage. But this will not happen quickly, or easily. What do we have already? Waves (ng), the fastest blockchain around. Stratis even. So with all these platform coins, they need projects to be launched on them. But what if the Ethereum projects start to fail after a couple of years? Will platforms be abandoned for a while?
8307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: January 11, 2018, 08:09:46 PM
yah. some people do that. first time they got nothing and for few years they looking for bounty now they rich. because the price always going up. i think we need thank you to bitcoin for this. some one become millionaires just for looking for bounty.
but i think who become millionaires from bounty, have hard work and good skill make them can be millionaires in bitcoin.

I never thought about it, but I wonder now if the typical bounty hunter behavior has changed. Every one can look back now and see that most cryptos and tokens have gone up in price in a period of months, most after a year show more than double price valuation. Bounty people used to dump massively on exchanged right after ICOs ended. But perhaps now the method has shifted to holding. Does anyone know of any statistics that might help show this trend to be true? I have my idea that maybe alts are all rising now because of holders.
8308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold All my Ripple on: January 11, 2018, 04:50:46 PM
So I bought Ripple about 5-6 months back. Average buy price was under 8K Satoshi, and now today I have sold all for around 15K Satoshi.

Do you think its a good trade? Do you think I should have waited more?
And do you think it has returned well for the amount of time invested in it?
Not really a good trade. I mean you held your money for around 6 months for doubling your money. I think if we do proper trading with good signals and analysis its not that difficult to double money in more than a month. Moreover XRP is a real good coin it went to $3 from $0.1. I dont know how come you made such a low profit.

You have a crystal ball? No one knows for sure. If it is not difficult to double, why are you wasting time here with this forum? Go double your money.

OP: Do not listen to anyone here. not even those who say you did a good thing. Most important for you is that you yourself came to the decision, and that you did it with full knowledge and full reasoning and independence. Who in this world can claim to almost double profits in half a year? I tell you: almost too few to matter.

And hey look at it drop today and yesterday. You can always buy back in, you will have even more now.
8309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LITECOIN WILL SKYROCKET TO THE MOON! on: January 11, 2018, 09:35:04 AM
I like Litecoin a lot but I wish Charlie Lee did not embark on the huge marketing campaign that now seems to be very successful in getting people over to buy LTC. I like the guy, and I like the drama free project but drama seems to be creeping in slowly, and not only because it is a dev that everyone knows, but because of the marketing talk. Still, have high hopes. Do not own many coins but I will be the first to hold until years to come. I wonder if this year can test $500? You never know with Lee's surprise incoming!
8310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Waves is always low? on: January 10, 2018, 07:26:04 PM
Waves is a good altcoin ,you can inverse your money in waves to get some profit.Do you as like this, the price of Litecoin also struggle to reach 100$ for long. But now it had recently reached 330$,this happened due to sustainability of Litecoin. Even waves was survive for long, so we can expect the price of waves will reach 100$ .

Yeah, part of the problem with Waves is that people are using it as a regular speculating tool, always buying below 100k satoshi and selling it again as soon as it reaches that price. The only reason it has been above $10 recently is just because Bitcoin price has been there. But not to worry, that is only a problem for short term holders, and we know Waves is a long term hold, especially with the leasing option, not that it earns a lot, currently not even 0.001 percent a week.
8311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON SCAM: TRUTH OR FUD...WHAT'S YOUR TAKE? on: January 10, 2018, 05:47:23 PM
Welcome to decentralization (or is it centralization now?) in the world of crypto. For all those out there who lost money, try and remember that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency was never about price, was never about making money. It was about liberating oneself from the state and taking control of your own money. Even if the truth is all there is to this, so what? Developers want to make their millions and all the people made their dreams possible by buying into their dreams, hardly caring about technology, or ideals.
8312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how can I get free coins in yobit.net ? on: January 10, 2018, 02:44:56 PM
The free coin option on yobit is going to take forever to load. First you need to complete a captcha on the free coins page, then let it load (it will take a long time). Even my computer and browser are not too old, with reasonable gigs of RAM and it takes a long time. But once it loads, you just click Claim one by one. It is a very long list, mind you, and most are worth nothing. Do not bother if you treasure your time. You have to collect literally hundreds of days to be able to trade minimum amount.
8313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: YoBit.Net - HELP! [ETH DEPOSIT] on: January 10, 2018, 08:37:53 AM
May I ask, why do so many people make this same mistake? When transferring Ether, why cannot you all just use a simple "get deposit address", "open own Ethereum wallet", spend ETH. Easily done. Is there something I am missing out on why every one with these deposit problems are using smart contracts to perform simple deposit transactions?

Anyway, look in yobit chat and wait for support to show up. They will reply for sure if you see them.
8314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT IS THE BEST BOUNTY CAMPAIGN NOW? on: January 10, 2018, 06:25:24 AM
And I suggest you to check the project DANEEL.It's really a good project they all pass on my criteria. They are still open for more participants.
Bounty name : [BOUNTY-NEW][ICO] 🤖 Daneel.io: The 1st A.I Created To Help Crypto Investors

Link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2667581.msg27210952#msg27210952

Looks all right, I just skimmed over the ANN thread. Just want to point out this is NOT the first AI to help crypto investors. I have seen since November FIVE ICOs or projects that are claiming to do the same. I can only remember three names, Taklimakan Network, Peculium and Gimmer. So now with this Daneel, I know six - all of them trying to do exactly the same thing, some look less professional than others, and guess what? None are able to show you exactly how experienced the teams are, and only Peculium did show a bit of the AI capability, but none have proof of track record.

I know AI is the future of trading, but the future does not look so special to me at the moment.
8315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Inviting friends to invest in cryptocurrencies? on: January 09, 2018, 01:33:03 PM
No, I was just saying a couple of days ago how I have refrained from doing exactly that. A few of my friends know about me and crypto, but only because it comes up in conversation and I tell the truth if they ask. I never ever hype it though. I would advice that you can talk about it, but never promote or convince people to invest. Get them to learn more, sure, get them interested, yes. But never ask people to part with money, because you never know the future. If it is good, they get profit, but if they lose money, what will you do for them? And worse, how will they remember you for it?
8316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: octoin - bitconnect 2.0 on: January 09, 2018, 01:05:21 PM
For the benefit of all newcomers, avoid ALL projects that promise a fixed or guaranteed profit. No matter how "small" it seems, even a 1% guaranteed return a month is very suspicious. OP, you said you noted it as a scam, perhaps you should not give them free advertisement, as it seems like you are.

Bitconnect was/is a pyramid scheme which just created market cap from nowhere, and has a MLM leadership with crazy leaders. Do not ever fall for these. Read their tech, they can prove nothing at all about how they make profits. Avoid at all costs.
8317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SPANK] SpankChain - Do porn coins have a chance? on: January 09, 2018, 09:24:10 AM
Well you never know with crypto. I know there have been many porn coins and adult industry ICOs, none have yet been successful, but sometimes in crypto it takes years for a fad to take place. Look at DAG coins now after two years then everyone is talking about them. And see how long it took for Monero to gain popularity and now anonymous coins are also trendy. I am sure the niche coins like marijuana coins and adult coins will soon have their day, if you are patient enough.
8318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden Gems For 100x 2018 on: January 09, 2018, 08:40:13 AM
It is ridiculous, or considered folly to rely on low market capitalization to pick a coin for a huge gain (x100 at least) but then, on the track record of the past few months, this is exactly what has happened with so many coins (I am thinking especially of XRB or raiblocks). I cannot say, none of the coins I picked have become x100 yet, so I still wonder how all the others became so successful, seeming to be banking on shitcoins and then suddenly seeing them explode. I have a bad feeling 2018 will see the first casualties of x100 hunters.
8319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to Invest this Q1 2018 - Authorship on: January 08, 2018, 08:17:25 PM
Wow, good for them. I am actually really surprised that they managed to overcome a lot of the early troubles. I remember when I saw the links being promoted, I signed up for the free tokens. Yes, those were the days. Then realized they were in trouble when so many people claimed free tokens. Everyone got mad and I stopped following up. So it is good to see, a project can still survive after taking a beating.

By the way, I was one of those not credited with my "free" tokens. I signed up, it was only 50 tokens or something, but never got them.
8320  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Crypto Noob Moron thread on: January 08, 2018, 07:25:26 PM
Is there an error with OP post? I do not see any link, even when quoting. But anyway, I actually have a very fresh story I would like to tell you. Now, in my entire short crypto life, I have never asked anyone of my contacts or family or friends to join crypto. A few friends know about it, but only because they asked before and I just said yes I bought a little bit. Nothing more.

But a few days ago, one of these guys sends me a message saying "You must be so rich now, with all your Bitcoin. Feel good about yourself?" Well, like that but with worse spelling. I just replied saying I only have a small amount, not even 1 full Bitcoin and then he replies "what a liar, enjoy your life".

I have no idea why the hate.
