Yeah, that's a good position because making account sales against the rules is like making scamming against the rules. It achieves precisely nothing.

Btcttalkaccounts is really annoying through.

What's even more annoying is how many accounts seem to be created specifically for sale/scamming.  If you go to the newbies forum, you'll see many newbie posters with over 150 posts to their names (and, obviously, less than 4 hours).

Yeah, I was surprised with that today. Whilst browsing on my phone I was speaking to one of the newbies. He had 70 odd posts and only around 2 hours total time....That's just...unreal.

Let us know if it works after clearing cookies. I have not experienced this personally.
8343  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GO BABY GO! LOWER AND LOWER! on: June 09, 2013, 05:45:00 PM
I wish I had cash right now. Sad

I must save more fiat for moments like this.

Yeah, same here. Though you never now, if you had money, you could really suffer a huge loss if you're not skilled and experienced.

That's true, I normally invest in times like this and then wait for it to go up. Then sell the amount which I originally bought for and old on to the remaining amount of Bitcoins. Obviously I COULD still lose out if Bitcoin doesn't go up, but meh.
8344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thanks for Riding :) on: June 09, 2013, 05:42:04 PM
Is this really suited for 'Trading discussion'. Speculation would be more suited.
8345  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have 10 btc accepting paypal... on: June 09, 2013, 05:41:11 PM
I really hope you don't get scammed because of charge backs, are you sure you can't do a bank transfer and then deposit money into paypal? People are going to see this and see a opportunity to scam...if you can't do what I mentioned, I wish you the best of luck.

You could always try the USB ASIC Block Erupters, maybe a risky investment, but if you have trouble with hardware or having the technical know how, they are simple to setup.
8347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg and Bitcoin on: June 09, 2013, 05:37:17 PM
lets see what zuck finally does, all the big guys seem to talk about but aren't doing anything

That's true. A lot of owners of BIG companies have been 'interested' in Bitcoin, but they usually don't opt in for it.
8348  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How about setting a MAX coin age ?! on: June 09, 2013, 05:27:22 PM
This has been posted far too many times now. So let me ask you, if you owned 100BTC and couldn't access you're wallet for some reason (lost passphrase etc). Then one day you remember or find the pass phrase. But, when you go to take out you're BTC, it's GONE.

How would you feel?
8349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meanwhile on my car... on: June 09, 2013, 05:24:13 PM
Awesome!
8350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going back to $30, sell all coins! ZOMG on: June 09, 2013, 05:13:40 PM
screw guessing, or taking a educated guess. What happens, happens. I'll deal with it then.
8351  Economy / Economics / Re: What would you do with 10K USD in Bitcoin on: June 09, 2013, 05:04:04 PM
I certainly wouldn't invest it all at once. I would invest a little into a project, then keep some to accumulate\te some value.
8352  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who are the smartest people in this forum? on: June 09, 2013, 04:58:31 PM
Gornick is amazing.  A top notch participant in the ecosystem.

Some guy called BTCurious or something like that always had good stuff, but I've not seen him in a while.

I often find something of interest in 'molecular's writings.  'greyhawk' and I seem to have a similar sense of humor and possibly a similar type of footprint in the ecosystem, so I find a lot of his stuff worth reading.

When Garzik finds the time to post something, I often find it well worth reading.  Same with Maxwell and Todd.  Gavin and Hearn are similarly well written and thoughtful, but I happen to disagree more with their direction for the project.

I'll maybe edit in other names here as I remember them for the fun of it.

He always goes into detail. I learn a lot from nearly every post he submits. One of the reasons I'm so active is because of these people who post interesting content.
8353  Other / Off-topic / Re: If anyone tries to sell a horse using bitcoin please check this first on: June 09, 2013, 04:56:28 PM
Who in their right mind would try to sell a horse for bitcoins? And who the hell would accept such offer?  Huh

There's a goat for sale on bitmit, I guess that's kind of the same....lol
8354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why won't my "total time logged in" go up? on: June 09, 2013, 04:48:26 PM
If you want to save time, try using http://newbiejail.org

Wow, I never knew this existed. Everything is made much more easier for people these days. It's not like 4 hours is hard...if you haven't got a life (MEEE)

8358  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who are the smartest people in this forum? on: June 09, 2013, 04:37:22 PM
I think another person who is incredibly smart is, Stephen Gornick.
8359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was there a Serious event causing current drop? on: June 09, 2013, 04:29:02 PM
Well, in my personal opinion. I believe it was the manufacturers of the ASIC were simply cashing out.
8360  Economy / Lending / Re: Loans available on: June 09, 2013, 04:25:58 PM
