841  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED]R6: KnC Jupiter, BELOW COST+HOST, Arrives Oct. 7 for testing!, $78 ea. on: October 07, 2013, 09:20:43 PM
Yes, please stop throwing money at -R- for R6.  Cheesy  Grin

We've been sold out since yesterday while the forum was still down. We're still sorting out the oversold situation but we're going to do our best to accommodate people into R5-R6. There's discussions about moving the R6 overflow to a 3rd Jupiter -R- was sending to Missouri to be a backup miner for the co-op. If necessary, the 3 GB Coordinators organizing R5/R6 have agreed to reduce our shares in these two rounds to try to help accommodate late orders.

Please stop sending PP & BTC for R6 as it's done and now oversold.
842  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Fundraising for HF B1 Upgrade Promo, DZ Miners Cooperative, Round 1 gents on: October 07, 2013, 09:13:22 PM
Bump, for R1 gents wondering where their thread went.  Tongue

I will likely open up the additional R1/R2 HF Baby Jet upgrade shares officially tonight when I get back home (that is: if thomas_s and -Redacted- don't buy the rest of the shares outright).
843  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED]R2:HashFast + Host, Dbl. HashRate Upgrade Fundraising (PM Plz) on: October 07, 2013, 09:12:42 PM
Hmm our R1 upgrade and decisions thread appears to be missing, no?

Anyway the HF upgrades for $43 ea. for 10-13GH/s in December is still ON.
These Upgrade Shares are even covered by HF's MPP.

38 shares available in R1*

27 shares available in R2*

*Any buyers of R1/R2 upgrade shares that are NOT the original share buyer for the first 40 shares in R1/R2, MUST sell the upgrade share they bought at cost to the original share owner *if* they change their mind *and* pay the new shareowner before the upgrade parts ship in late Nov. or early December.

Some tip to the person holding your at-cost share would be appreciated in this circumstance. Also, anyone bumped out of R1/R2 shares will be given the option to be contacted privately about any future at-cost or below-cost GBs that the DZ MC undertakes, ahead of everyone else.

Again, not your lawyer or investment advisor, but these appear to be the best available ASIC pre-order deals available since the original cost was $155 ea. in mid-August.

With forums back up I will update R1/R2 definitively WRT to upgrades available and paid when I get back home from work tomorrow night, but those numbers listed above are current as of today and -Redacted- and thomas_s. may buy them out, in which case, you'd have to deal with these two gents if you wanted in on these cheap R1/R2 shares (equiv. of 75% off).

Sorry with the site being down for the last couple of days and me not be around for a while before that, what is happening? I own a share in R1. Is it still on target to be delievered. Also what is this about an upgrade? What do I get and how much.

Sorry for not reading all 20 pages of this discussion. And the front page is now a complete mess IMHO, I could not easily see what is happening with the round I'm in.

Phil

Hey Phil,

Sorry about the confusion. I started a new thread to track R1 issues and decisions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=296199.0;all

At the moment, there's only 2 shares paid out of 40 for R1 Upgrade shares (-Redacted-) and 13 shares paid for R2 Upgrade shares IIRC. I'm at work & will update the upgrade share totals/IDs/status this evening.

==

As for the HashFast promo: it's still not as good as the $1500 B1 Baby Jet upgrade for R1/R2; the promo is listing a stock B3 Baby Jet for $1900 (and I believe that's without MPP).
844  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Fundraising for HF B1 Upgrade Promo, DZ Miners Cooperative, Round 1 gents on: October 07, 2013, 08:15:44 AM
^ This...  Maybe total up how many shares worth we need for both and Thomas_s and I can split it.

Ah, here's where this wayward R1 thread went. I was looking for this thing.

Guys, I updated #s in the R2 thread. g'night!
845  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED]R6: KnC Jupiter, BELOW COST+HOST, Day1 shipping, $78 ea. on: October 07, 2013, 07:42:09 AM
Got this taken care of.  Yes - I was going by the orders.  I might have put some pay-in addresses in my spreadsheets.  Will double check everything against your spreadsheets tomorrow, once the Jupiter is up and hashing.

Woohoo! You rock! The co-operative's first operational miners are the ones bought last, eheh. Copied from R5 thread for those that aren't in R5:

Thanks again for your hard work -R-. We're all pulling for you, obviously.

Wow, so exciting that the first of the co-op's miners to go into action tomorrow (at least for testing) are ironically the last two purchased.  Grin

-R- sent me updated pics on the Jupiter's shipping you can see:

- in my photo gallery or
- at our new site www.dzminercoop.com (thanks to thomas_s )
- or at our new subreddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/dzminercoop/

We definitely are "The lil co-op that could" and we adapted and still took care of business, selling out R6 even without the help of our home forum here.

With that in mind, I'm heading to bed & will begin catching up on my backlog of PMs tomorrow.

Please feel free to re-send your PM to me if you think that your PM may have been lost in the (not so) great forum outage of Fall 2013.

As I post this, it is 2:00 AM.  I won't get home from work until 14 hours from now - that's the soonest I can get started on unboxing...

Update now that the forum's back up. These two Batch 2 Sierras still appear to be on track for a early November shipping.

HF is still on track WRT to delivery window, last I heard, and I will sort out wallet addresses tomorrow night for R3/R4 with Thomas now that the forums are back up. Please let me know if your wallet address changed for R3/R4 or if you would just like to re-confirm your R3 and/or R4 wallet payout addresses.

Mahalo!

849  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: VER 2.0, Introducing DZ Escrow *Coordinator* Services for Group Buyers & Sellers on: October 07, 2013, 07:18:29 AM
- In about a month and a half: 6 Group Buys completed by my Miners Cooperative worth about $45K for 4TH/s+ of HashRate with the world's lowest hosting fees!

- 45-50 DZ MC members from 4 continents and 2 island chains with: 6 admitted IT Pros, 2 Finance Pros, a scientist, and 3 EEs as members. Cool!

- 8 or more Group Buy Coordinators and ASIC Miner Hosts vetted for free in about 5 weeks including the two most recent GBCs: -Redacted- (organically, in the course of R5/R6) and Delmonger, who requested my assistance with vetting.

Thank you everyone for helping my services and Cooperative turn into a big success! Our first 2 miners (R5/R6) should be hashing tomorrow for testing. Thanks -Redacted-! Smiley

Thank you to vetted GBC thomas_s who led R5 and R6 for the co-op ably with our assistance (tracked shares even thru the outage), and designed our new website:
www.dzminercoop.com

We even have our own subreddit now for a communications sidebar and for communications redundancy for the *next* forum outage:
http://www.reddit.com/r/dzminercoop/

And thank you to DZ MC members -Redacted-, jungle_dave, unknown.usr, and Miramyn for offering to remote administrate the co-op's miners.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen, I humbly thank you.

850  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Open] .8 [btc] = 15GH/s with lifetime hosting on: October 07, 2013, 07:12:30 AM
I can confirm that user Delmonger has contacted me for free vetting services.

Cheers!
DZ

Thank you DZ.

Ladies and Gents, welcome back to the BTC Talk Forums!

Shortly before the forum outage I was contacted by Delmonger for vetting.
My main PC w/ PGP signing is down for a few days but I can confirm that Delmonger has passed my vetting process, which although there's no charge for my vetting services, it's the most thorough vetting process I'm aware of on these forums.

I can confirm that Delmonger has his ID and address on record with this Forum Vetting Agent, and that he appears to be a well intentioned Group Buy Coordinator. Please send me a PM if you have any questions about the authenticity of any GBCs or miner hosts who claim to have been vetted by me.

Aloha,
DyslexicZombei
851  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Fundraising for HF B1 Upgrade Promo, DZ Miners Cooperative, Round 1 gents on: October 02, 2013, 04:08:54 AM
I won't even bother creating code yet for this Round's paid B1 Upgrade wallet.  Tongue

-Redacted- has paid for 2 shares for R1 upgrades.

I have funds on hand at mcxNOW to buy 3 R1 upgrade shares at any moment if this gets close (2 R1 upgrade shares for me, 1 for philipma1957).

If R2 gets close to finishing, I'm transferring R1 funds/shares to R2.

We'll rebalance upgrade share ownership as necessary. I'm also close to opening this up to general fundraising for R1 upgrades, with existing co-op members getting preference before the rest of the GB forum and the orig. buyer's rights protected with the option to buy into the upgrade all the way up until the Upgrade parts ship.
852  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Fundraising for HF B1 Upgrade Promo, DZ Miners Cooperative, Round 1 gents on: October 02, 2013, 02:37:04 AM
You got it. Thanks again Philip!
853  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Additional voting and major decisions for DZ Miner Cooperative, Round 1 gents on: October 02, 2013, 02:33:10 AM
Gents,

For those that may have been away or on travel: If you missed the news: HashFast is currently giving Batch1 owners an opportunity to double hashrate at only 25% extra. Est. to ship 1 month after our miner is delivered & it would double our hashrate well before any MPP could kick in at 3-3.5 months.

The cost per share would be $43 with Express Shipping AM delivery.

Just for Round 1: Here's the wallet I've set up for our HashFast Baby Jet upgrade if you guys want to go for the upgrade:

1C6wCvpr8ycyJEBkvDL5Y6z3aC8EFcCKvS

Please PM me the relevant details if you proceed:

Subject - DZ HF R1 Upg., 1 share, (BTC equivalent of) $43
Message Body - Tx ID or Tx ID link

As mentioned: there's no restock fee if we don't come up with enough funds to double hashrate, and a refund is needed.

==

Also, FWIW, there's a healthy demand for our co-op's HashFast shares if anyone wants to pull out and sell their shares, or if the don't feel like participating in the upgrade program and feels that they're being pushed into extra payments they don't want to do.

Please PM me if you're interested. No hard feelings as I understand things happen and the shares do become 25% more expensive (of course, 100% has already been paid).  Wink

so I need to send in .34btc?   for this?  I have to wait to pay as I sent in a shit load of coins for the knc buy.   I am good for the .34 btc  ty phil

Philip,

I *could* pay your .34 BTC out of the $525 I still owe you for R1 UPS/Battery backup (which is overkill eheh).

That way I'd owe you $482 (or mixed BTC equiv.) and your R1 upgrade share would be marked as PAID.

I just had 2 BTC added to the wallet from a bet I won re: BFL failure to meet Sept. deadlines for reaching July 6 orders. I'm marking that as PAID for another R2 upgrade share (2 total upgrade shares for me; new upgrade spreadsheet code coming fo' realz in a bit; only helped sell another $16.6K worth of below cost miners & UPS/Batts in the meanwhile).

The extra 1.3 BTC I had added today from winning my gentleman's bet will be avail. for securing R1 upgrades if we get far enough along w/ R1 fundraising.
854  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: John K Escrow Alternatives on: October 02, 2013, 02:14:03 AM
Hi Ultibit,

I'm sorry to hear about the escrow difficulties. I really was pulling for you & bobsag3 teaming up as I encourage all new GBCs to provide value and variety to our forum. We all need to realize that John has a lot of demands on him and he does have a life too, just like anyone else. I had offered to team up with John previously but then decided to just launch my services and focus on this forum (and to a lesser extent the Custom Hardware forum).

You & I have worked together before, and I do offer my Escrowed share services to anyone participating in a GB even if they joined a GB that doesn't have an Escrow Agent or Service set up previously.

If I was looking for escrow services I'd recommend Dabs and SebastianJu, but in the future, if you're in a hurry & you want to send folks my way to do semi-automated escrowed GB shares (with manual release of funds by buyer) I'll be more than happy to help out your Group Buyers.

For escrowed sale transactions my response time is 24 hours or less. For people wanting escrow protection & GBCs needing access to acquisition funds (perhaps to make a mfg. downpayment to secure a miner?)  I'll make the time on their behalf.

At the moment...we've just closed out GBs with me in an assist mode for R5/R6, so I do have time to help people outside of my Cooperative (in fact, I'm vetting another potential new GBC) . If you have a big enough need, even if one's a competitor GBC here, I'll do my best to help you as quickly as I can.

Cheers,
DZ

10/1 PM Update.

For now: Please do not to send PMs to Thomas or rush him for spreadsheet code at the moment until he gets caught up.

If you have pressing concerns please PM me & I will collect them for forwarding to either -R-, Thomas, or both.

I may have missed some PMs in the avalanche I'll need to go back thru but I seem to be caught up to PMs at the moment (about 8 hrs later). See: if we go gentle on his inbox he *might* uncover 5 or 10 more shares that are double ordered or were phantom orders.

For the good of the co-op: There's always a method to my particular madness.  Cheesy Grin

 thats cool.

I know I did 4 different orders for  a total of 15 shares.  so 15 % of a 550gh miner = more then 80gh for about 9 btc or 1170 usd I hope this all works out.  80gh is nice

Yup, I have you down for 9 shares in R3, 6 in R4 when Thomas & I compare notes, and me owing you $525 for R1 UPS/Battery Backup in about a week and a half. In hindsight, $525 (with a good chunk out of my pocket) may have been overkill for our R1 BabyJet's UPS/Batts to be utilized by firsttimeuser but we all benefit, eheh.

G'luck my man! If your evening was anything like my morning you've probably got about 40-60 PMs to have to deal with.

Sorry, it wasn't until I got thru the bulk of PMs that I came across your PM about consolidating PMs until I had gotten thru the bulk of 'em, & since I had started, might as well finish 'em so you get the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  Cheesy

For now: Please do not to send PMs to Thomas or harass him for spreadsheet code at the moment until he gets caught up.

No objection, I've paid my 2 shares of upgrade in R1 and R2 and volunteered (along with thomas_s) to buy whatever number of shares are outstanding to make sure we don't run out of time (accepting the caveat about original share members being able to buy back until upgrade time)

Noted. Thanks -R-!

Hehehe, for those not following updates in R1/R2, Copy/pasta from R1:

Talked to Cara at HF a little while ago:

- Great news! They're still on track for that Oct. 23-30 shipping window. That may be the very latest HF news on the forums ATM.

- Cara says she "hearts" us! I was giving her my elevator pitch about providing access to double and triple digit pricepoints HF can't hit yet and she said she "gets it" and that she hearts us. So there. <3  Kiss

Also mentioned the co-op may be up to 45-50 members once we sort out numbers.

- Touched base on R2 Order 616 buyout and she mentioned the R3/R4 order confirmation should be showing in about 2 days.

Gents: there's a strong possibility we may pool the funds for R1/R2 upgrades from a handful of co-op members with the understanding that the orig. share owners deserve to buy their upgrade share(s) all the way until the upgrade parts ship in late Nov./early Dec.

Please let me know if you have any objections to this plan as time appears to be of the essence for this limited quantity promo that's equivalent to 75% off HF B1 shares.
