btcquick.com

I can recommend them as a reliable source I've used. 7.5% fees, IIRC, so you're paying extra for that convenience.

As for when this round ends, thanks to DZ MC leader and BA reseller bobsag3 (who is also the US Distributor for Drillbit Systems), we have enough access to BA boards that we can run an R13B and possibly an R13C, if necessary.

I have a mtg. in a bit that should give some clarification to PMs I've received on a variety of issues, then I'm heading out.  Sorry, getting to PMs later tonight.

Fixed my typos and errors from earlier copy/pasta from earlier rounds (why yes, R11 did have free hosting, no that's no longer available (except to Hili who caught my early morn. rush off to work math fail and other mishtakes)).

Hopefully, that should've cleared up some confusion. Thanks.

Noted, thanks gents.

Let's see what HF says/does...lots of people are waiting to hear about what's going on.

All I know is that we paid in BTC, and if there's refunds, we deserve BTC back.

Well if we really get refunds in BTC it wouldn't be that bad with the recent price increases...

Well, if we do get a refund, I'd rather we get our BTC back than the equiv. value in fiat.  Wink

Since there's quite a few multipart payments please take your time to get it right Thomas. There's no such thing as a chargeback in the realm of Bitcoin.

Thank you to the honest person that sent back the BTC that was mistakenly sent to them. This action speaks well of you as a person, and makes me proud of the quality of the people like you that are in our co-op (or associated with it).

Hearing things like this cheers me up immensely and helps re-confirm that we're helping the 'good guys' in the BTC world.

Votes noted. Thank you gents.

I said this in the other thread, but for buyers that paid BTC (like us), if there's a refund, BTC buyers better be getting BTC back, because anything else is just not right.

Sorry dude,

Thomas & I lagged on updating the site details. We've both been super busy setting up our pro arm of our BTC efforts which will include Miner Hosting, Arbitrage, and servicing many (and owning a few) BTC ATMs, among other activities. Lots of meetings and lots of edumacation.

However, this R8B GB is still open, and we'll add additional modules as funds come in.

Cheers,
DZ
488  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Discussion to explore how to provide Group Buy Robocoin ATMs to investors on: November 06, 2013, 07:40:54 AM
We believe that we have a simple and reasonable plan for Qualified Investors looking to order and place an entire ATM (or several) which will be serviced by our new LLC.

I cannot publicly solicit for this, but since you now know that we have or will have this service soon to be available, you are more than welcome to contact me via PM for a private, not public, venture on what is essentially a private forum, since you have to register to become a member here on this privately owned site.

======

BTW, we believe that fair taxes are fair to everyone. We want people to pay their legal share of their taxes for profits gained from their BTC related ventures. It's a very good thing to support your fair share of modern civilization by helping to pay the bills that help keep the essentials going.

Thank you for the input Philip.

Phil's such a great guy he gave the co-op a ~$1500-ish deal for server grade UPS/Batteries...for only $525!

Don't forget, you need to pay electricity for that stick; our hosting costs are cheaper than 99.9% than most home mining sites. You also get access to 5 remote/local admins, every single one of them a longtime IT pro and/or network/software/electrical engineer, with a combined 80 years+ of hardware/software troubleshooting and design experience.

Also: we plan on selling all of our miners at about the 5-7 month mark when most of the year's projected ROI has already been met (90%+), in order to recoup purchase costs and split this among the Round's buyers.

...and I'm very, very good at hardware arbitrage...  Wink  Grin

When I buy a share, is there legal documentation that explains what I entitled to? If so, where can I find it?
Thanks.

None of these Group Buys for miner rig shares here have legal documentation at this time that I'm aware of, on any of them. These are "virtual shares" for the uninitiated. There is business insurance on your equipment, and well...our co-op's rep that we won't steal your BTC or fiat.

We've done about $200K in sales now if you include the BTC ATM funds being refunded right now. We're paying out BTC on R5/R6 which is hashing, and will be doing a miner payout on R9-12, which is also hashing, on or about November 15. There hasn't been a single complaint from anyone as to how we've handled their USD/BTC/ID.

Please, please speak up if you don't see your name/address on the official spreadsheet as we're known for being sticklers about getting share ownerships correct., but honest mistakes can happen.

However, on the legal documentation side: I'm happy to report that we incorporated our BTC ATM sub-company. We are setting up a number of sub-companies.

This means that even our "amateur" Group Buys here will soon be given the honest to goodness, pro treatment with good ole legal documentation and the power and rep of our co-op and corporation behind it.
491  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: R14x: Intl. Robocoin GB ATM Launch in EU, N America, Feb '14. $123 on: November 06, 2013, 01:29:24 AM
From Thomas: "downloading the new blocks for qt and about to send the funds to do first round"

If you don't post something or contact us via a help ticket at our site, we will send BTC back to the payout address you provided at order or to the email address that was asked for.

Please let Thomas know if there's any issues with your refund(s) esp. if you made multiple orders or multiple payments for the same purchase.

Give us some time to get all of the refunds out. If you don't see a refund in 12 hours, please contact us so that we can look into it as quickly as possible.

Thank you.
492  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Discussion to explore how to provide Group Buy Robocoin ATMs to investors on: November 06, 2013, 12:48:54 AM
Funds raised would *not, repeat would *not* be obtained to buy mining equipment.

Funds raised would be for business operations (such as capital expenditures) and are meant to go into or expand the BTC ATM business and ohhhh a bunch of innovations in the BTC economy which I can't discuss yet, but we fully intend to be a major player that brings new value and services across the entire Bitcoin industry and marketplace. Again, this is preliminary. We actually don't need the money, but would like to someday offer the forum members access to our expertise and a portion of the company.

I've introduced a number of new innovations to the Group Buys forum which have increased our sales, and I have no intention of stopping my innovative approach in the Bitcoin economy anytime soon. I've evolved to the point where I'm now doing major, exclusive deals with VPs, Presidents, and CEOs of major Bitcoin mining mfgs. and BTC related industries like Robocoin.

Also, the preliminary plan is to do a new sub-company for each country we support, shielded from other sister and affiliated companies.
493  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Discussion to explore how to provide Group Buy Robocoin ATMs to investors on: November 06, 2013, 12:34:33 AM
Wow, thank you very, very much for your comments. No one is put in a trust in this co-op/company without being vetted by me (at this point) and while my vetting services are free, they are the most stringent vetting service requirements that I'm aware of on this forum.

I will discuss this at our board mtg. this evening. I'm copy/pasting this from the R13 GB thread:

Also, I can tell you that things are moving quickly on both the "amateur" and the pro side of our activities, and that we hope to have the framework for an investor compensation plan for any Qualified Investors interested in diversifying from miners. As of today, we are officially incorporated as a LLC. doing crypto related ATM business.

We are still aggressively looking at how we can offer GB ATM shares to Group Buyers and we hope that we can come to a legal resolution to this, and continue to give small buyers the world's best prices and deals.

As CEO of this nascent Intl. company, my promise to you is that even as our new company grows larger, our company will continue to service this Group Buys forum and will continue to give the "little guy/girl" access to Institutional Pricing via our DZ MC GBs. Without the "little guys/girls" this co-op could not have even conceived of going pro, so we, the co-op's leaders, all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We will likely reduce our GB types to 2 or 3 larger GBs a month, but we will always remember our roots here, no matter what happens.

- DZ, CEO

Also, FWIW: the AM share approach is a "what if" scenario, and is likely to take place months from now, if we even do go down this route.
494  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] R13: BLACK ARROW Bullet Run w Bitfury. $113, 54% less than cex.io! on: November 06, 2013, 12:27:59 AM
I just want to make sure I understand this. When you buy a share, is it for a limited time or is it like buy buying a share of stock on the stock market? Meaning you are earning dividends as long as the coop is in business. The word "Run" is usually a finite amount of time. Can you clarify?
Thanks.

You own it forever, but of course, hosting/management fees still apply.

However, because of rising difficulty, in every one of our Miner Rounds we vote on when to sell the miners starting at about the 4.5 month mark (to sell at or about the 5 month mark) in order to recoup as much of our original purchase. The plan is to sell them to recoup most of the purchase /operating costs when more than 90% of ROI is projected to be met....but at less than the 50% mark (5 months) in the operating year.

I have a long, successful track record for hardware arbitrage.

The sale of any of the co-op's miners will have the funds disbursed in proportion to your ownership of that Rounds miner(s). You can choose to re-invest it in the co-op (in this way: there is no forced percentage of miner equipment re-investment in this GB or co-op; it just happens organically), or one can pursue other choices.

I will get to your PMs as soon as I can but please contact bobsag3 or Thomas with your questions, if possible.

Hey Hili,

Thank you very much for the catch! Doh, moving too quickly so I thank you for the math fail catch and would like to give you a 2nd month Free Hosting for any shares you have in this Round and any previous R9-12 rounds, if you have any.

Thank you and cheers! (Plus wouldn't help to copy/pasta this 2nd month free for miner payouts next month just for you, JIC of a math fail again next month.  Cheesy  Wink

It should be good to go, but please let me know if you have issues.

A day after I had to close this GB, I'd like to come back for a better explanation and apology.

Although this GB had to be closed due to a minefield of legal landmines, the intention when I opened this GB was to give you "ownership" via net profits in perpetuity. When this wasn't possible, we tried to modify terms that would still be fair to you, while allowing our little startup a chance to grow and expand.

If you'd like to explore and discuss how a GB Robocoin ATM could be legal and feasible (ninjaboon had some good suggestions), please move that particular discussion to: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=325640.0

==

This is a good place to discuss your refund issues, if you have any. If you didn't see our earlier message, if you did a 2 part BTC payment for R14x, please PM Thomas to confirm your order details so that we can get your refund details correct.

Mahalo.
499  Bitcoin / Project Development / Discussion to explore how to provide Group Buy Robocoin ATMs to investors on: November 05, 2013, 08:03:56 PM
I opened up a huge can of worms in the GB forum trying to provide Group Buyers partial "ownership" of the net profits of US International Group Purchased Bitcoin ATMs.

I apologize to everyone that bought in and are currently being refunded. The intention going in was to give buyers these net profits in perpetuity. When we had to modify the terms (for legal and financial reasons), this method proved to be mostly unpopular. With the high regulatory compliance issues, permits, licenses, taxes, operating costs, etc., etc., if we were to offer a GB ATM offering in perpetuity, it would likely be anywhere from 50-100% more expensive per share than what we had originally listed it at.

Combined with further legal guidance (mostly none except: "stay away") and further discussions of the GB method at this time, we had to close out the Group Buy for Robocoin ATMs.

We're still going forward, but we're moving forward with internal money and private investors only, in a smaller limited test as a proof of concept. This is still a serious venture that *will* happen.

We are looking into the possibility of the ASICminer method of gaining and compensating backers, but we are not ready for a BTC IPO at this time. (UPDATE/CLARIFICATION: We do not need BTC for our start-up at this time) We received some good free suggestions from ninjaboon that we may explore further.

I've tried to do right by you guys...because I really am just one of you: a miner and an investor. I started our amateur miners cooperative (now going pro) in order to help provide a scam free sales outlet that gives people access to institutional prices at smaller price points.

I founded "the lil co-op that could" and in a short span, we've grown into a 900 pound gorilla in the GB space, due to a ceaseless roll-out of the world's best prices for ASIC miners, round after round, combined with our world class customer service, and active cooperation within the co-op among creators and contributors.

I am now the CEO of a small intl. company - something I didn't imagine just 2 weeks ago, but I really am just one of you (except probably with a higher risk tolerance, the organizer gene, and gooder writing/marketing skills).

Make no mistake: with me as the Founder and CEO of this new pro arm, we are going to be a 900 pound gorilla in the Bitcoin economy, *and* the Robocoin Operator Network. Our verticality and resources are unmatched for a miners cooperative and I intend to use our verticality and growing size to create or gain market share in a wide swathe of Bitcoin related businesses and activities (including arbitrage).

So the questions are:

- If there were an ASICminer-type share offering for BTC ATMs would there be enough interest in this?

- Also, in the future, if there were an ASICminer-type share offering for our new corporation's entire Bitcoin operations, would there be interest in this as well?
500  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] R13: BLACK ARROW Bullet Run w Bitfury. $113, 218% less than cex.io! on: November 05, 2013, 07:50:33 PM
That's because you're too fast and I was still setting up.  Grin

I should have that stock up in a couple of minutes.

Also, yes in this co-op, we vote on major decisions such as sales date, alt-mining, etc., etc..

Haha sorry about that, I was eager!  Currently at work, hoping that this stays open until I get home to move funds around, I assume I have to pay from the address I expect to receive from.

Also I noticed you have finance people at your disposal, but if you need any help with tax advice please feel free to throw questions my way and I will help with what I can.  Currently employed at a multi-billion dollar corporation to prepare tax returns.  I like what your doing and would help if needed. Smiley

Oh, really? You may be just the right person to join our team if you're interested in sideline work with major promise. We are going places and our activities will go well beyond the range of our usual GBs that we perform here.

If we had a competent intl. biz attorney and a tax expert as our core leaders, we'd pretty much be set and completely internally integrated as far as trying to perform Bitcoin e-commerce.

I'll shoot you a PM with my Skype name, if you'd like to discuss this. I don't want to promise anything, but I'm determined to make this new corporation a 900 pound gorilla in the Bitcoin economy, in a large number of areas that need attention. We have a verticality and depth to our BTC operations that are unmatched on this GB forum.
