"I love this coop...it was disappointing to hear that the atm venture was not going to work out, but instead of taking everyone's money and running you refunded everyone in full. For me, that validates your claims as being an honest, legitimate business with the goal to help people make sound investments in the new bitcoin
world. I look forward to future investments with you, and hope you find a way around the atm situation

 My shares total more then 170gh in hash power  of which more then 100gh is working right now thanks to group buy 5 + 6.

 I supplied a large UPS + EBM to the coop  DZ has my home address and Since I shipped the UPS to the coop I have the location of the mining center in MO. Since I am also going to ship to first time user a pair of seasonic 1000 watt PSU's I will know the location of our smaller  mining center in NY.

As far as I can tell this coop is pretty solid. So far the most solid of all my btc spent.

Online / Offline Endorsements for the Founder of Crypto ATM LLC and DZ Miners Cooperative: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=280412.msg2997877#msg2997877
462  Economy / Services / The Process and Services on: November 11, 2013, 07:07:12 AM
The process of buying an ATM(s) through Crypto:

1. You, a Qualified/Accredited Investor or group, contact us via PM to purchase and install an ATM(s) in your preferred location(s); at this junction, we have been
given carte blanche by Jordan Kelley, the CEO of Robocoin, to install their Robocoin ATMs - the world's first KYC and AML compliant Bitcoin ATMS - anywhere in the world where they will be embraced.

2. Once you order an ATM, Crypto will do everything for you to give you hands off ownership of your hardware. We can provide you with our partnered firms for legal research and groundwork which includes filing for necessary business registrations of a company, required permits, licenses, relevant contracts and other details.

3. You may or may not need to seek legal counsel as to the legality of operating a Bitcoin ATM in your country or region. Crypto cannot advise you on this but can
point you in the direction of the people providing us with legal help. Upon teaming up with us, you will most likely need to follow up with filing for Money Transmitter
Licenses, and we suggest that you start to look into this yourself for your own compliance and due diligence purposes.

Crypto ATM Service features:

- World class service to go above and beyond for our customers and continue to have the reputation to prove it. Once you choose us to service your ATMs, we handle everything but legal matters and your own application for any additional requirements for business (please check your local regulations for requirements).

- Business and sales experience with Integrity: This battle tested team is led by me, DZ, the Founder of the DZ Miners Cooperative and Group Buy Escrow Coordination Services / Founder, Bitcoin ATM LLC / 25 year sales veteran / IT Network Engineer.

Our team offers Business, Finance and Marketing experts at your disposal. We are a tight knit team with team members that met and team up on the forums to create a powerful miners cooperative that specializes in rock bottom prices and world class service. For example, in only about 10 weeks in our free time, we sold approximately $150,000 worth of ASIC mining contracts/fractional ownership of hardware on the GB forum and have treated our clients and their money/BTC/IDs with ethical consideration, responsibility, and respect.

A large percentage of our GB sales are repeat customers who have been pleased by our prices and service.

463  Economy / Services / Description of Services on: November 11, 2013, 07:06:24 AM

We are proud to announce the official launch of our Bitcoin ATM Services Operations!

As of November 5, 2013, we are fully incorporated as Crypto ATM, LLC.

We introduce to Bitcoin ATM buyers interested in owning a Robocoin ATM(s) a point of sale for those machines with turnkey services provided by our new company: Crypto ATM, LLC, in exchange for a simple service fee.

Why choose us?

We started off as an amateur miners cooperative where fractions of ASIC mining hardware were and still are sold at-cost. We have quickly grown into the largest and most active miners cooperative on the Bitcointalk.org Group Buys Forum.

The world class team of IT and Finance Pros which strives to bring you the world's best ASIC mining hardware - and several exclusive purchasing options such as an offering by Black Arrow of a Bullet Run nearly 4 months before their official launch of their newest hardware. Our founding group includes a VP of Balanced Energy, LLC. a small oil company in Texas who is a contracts expert.

We are joined by several world class software programmers, network engineers, remote administrators, and a number of private investors, including the first natural resource to Bitcoin opportunity for individual qualified investors to access the recompleted output of two producing oil wells in central Texas!

This are likely world firsts, and are being brought to you by the same miners cooperative that has introduced a number of GB forum innovations which benefits buyers and sellers.

I'd like to reserve 4 please.  I expect to have the BTC within 24 hours.

M

Sorry, there's no reservations allowed for this GB round. We also expect a number of R13 GB share owners to move their refund or R13 order to this round, and they will be given priority for R15 shares.

The closest thing to a reservation for R15 and R15B is to buy 4 shares and send a tiny BTC payment to hold that wallet address and order from expiring after 1 hour.

BTW, for those asking, this order was made this weekend, and we are Order #1068xx.
466  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED*] R13: BLACK ARROW Bullet Run w Bitfury. $113, 54% less than cex.io! on: November 10, 2013, 11:47:58 PM
Is there an ETA for the Jupiters?

Thank you.
KNC says Mid Nov. To start Shipping

Where are you in the queue?

This order was just made this weekend. We are Order # 106xx.

Since this is KnC's second batch, and they have learned and improved from their initial product launch, we're pretty confident that this miner will ship in mid-November to late-November.
467  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN, 100/100 avail.]R15: 2 KnC Jupiters, $110 = 11GH/s. Nov. + DZ MC Bonuses on: November 10, 2013, 11:04:01 PM
Added:

+ Corsair HX1050 / Seasonic 1050 PSU

to OP as part of purchase costs.

In addition: the R15 funds will pay for an additional APC 900W UPS with Battery Bank *and* a *second* gas generator just for the DZ Miners Cooperative.  Grin
468  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN, 100/100 avail.]R15: 2 KnC Jupiters, $110 = 11GH/s, Nov, + DZ MC Bonuses on: November 10, 2013, 09:39:28 PM
What's the bitcoin address to send payments to? Also, what the method of communicating my receiving address back to you?

I went to the linked site in the OP and was greeted with "provide your name and address" and some other weird stuff. When I clicked on "Pay with Bitcoin", I just got a bunch of red tex that asked me to complete sections above. Is this the only way to order R15 shares? Why do you care where I live?

You can provide a fake name and address if you want.

It's a required field so it needs something there, but you can put anything you want.  Grin

Also: you have 1 hour to complete BTC payment or the wallet address *will* be recycled. However, if you have some BTC, you can send a small placeholder payment for your order in order to hold that wallet address open for you.

Just in case you missed it:

R13 buyers will be given priority for R15/15B GB shares it they choose this new Option C over a refund or staying with R13.

These R13 buyers may bump out later R15 orders.

Round 15 Payment Details

========================================================================

R15 Orders should be placed here: http://www.dzminercoop.com/?product=r15-2-knc-jupiters

BTC Payments will be directed to thomas_s via our site for R15 but I will have co-admin to this wallet for auditing or for payments if we're in a rush. We've worked together on 8 different Group Buys with great success including 2 of the fastest GB sellouts in the forum's history for Industrial class Rigs.

For US Customers: for a 3%  fee for USD conversion to BTC, we recommend: Cash Into Coins a FinCEN compliant MSB, and official DZ MC partner, who can get BTC sent to the wallet address you want in as little as 15 minutes to an hour.

Official DZ MC Reseller link: https://cashintocoins.com/index.php?code=dzcoop

For Intl. Customers: We are still exploring suggestions for inexpensive BTC conversion but I can recommend www.bitstamp.net at this time as that's the exchange rate used by our payment processor.

If there's any concerns about registering your payment, please follow up with a PM to Thomas or a support ticket. There's two methods to resolve this:

A. Send a support ticket on our website www.dzminercoop.com

OR

B: PM to thomas_s on this site

Subject: DZ HF GB R15, x shares, x BTC
Details: Please include Tx ID, your wallet address for payout, and any concerns you may have about your transaction(s)

NEW! 10/18 UPDATE from Thomas:

"Bobsag3 will be accepting wire transfers (for 20+ shares).

===

Thomas is handling questions and collecting payments for R15 via our site (unless you require Escrow, in which case you can PM me). He set up the automated reservation site and the GB with my input. Great work Thomas, and it's definitely an improvement over me trying to keep up w/ an avalanche of PMs and payments.  Tongue

I will still handle or assist in:

- Ordering
- Shipping details
- (Optional) Escrowed GB shares for those that insist on Escrow Protection from a 3rd party for: holding BTC funds, post-sales dispute resolution, $500 insurance per transaction at 2% extra cost to share price. Semi-automated Escrow is done thru BTCrow.
- Remote miner setup
- Remote troubleshooting/
- Incremental overclocking
- Payouts or assist in payouts
- Auditing hashrate vis-a-vis payouts
- Dispute resolution and arbitration, if necessary. [Should be rare as we're all adults that don't need to yell. Tongue]

Refunds: Refunds are discouraged because of the chaos caused in Group Buys, but if necessary, you will be refunded before the miner ships, at a 1.5% restock fee. After the miner ships, no refunds are available.

By sending payment, you agree to these Refund terms before purchase.

===============================================================================================================

NEW (10/21) Share Ownership Transfer Fee: There is now a 0.75% Ownership transfer fee if you're buying someone else's DZ MC co-op shares. We put a ton of time, money, and BTC to offer the GB community many of the world's best at-cost and below-cost deals. Refunds and share transfers cause chaos and extra work for us.

This 0.75% share transfer fee *MUST* by paid by the new owner before we will transfer share ownership.

R15 / R15B: 1 GB share = $110 = KnC 11 GH/s + November shipping +  world's lowest hosting/management fees + Corsair HX1050 / Seasonic 1050 PSU + DZ MC co-op bonuses (extra A/C, Gas Generator, Server UPS battery banks, dual network connections, 5 veteran remote/local admins, arbitrage expertise to resell used miners, etc., etc..)

R13 buyers moving to R15 will need to enter new orders for R15 on the co-op's site, so that we can properly account for the R13 to R15 fund/ownership moves.

==

Please contact thomas_s for questions and payments or to manually confirm your reservations, as I'm in more of a Miner Cooperative Support Role for this particular new model Group Buy (and potentially others). If you have questions about Round 15 unit hosting please contact bobsag3.

1 share is $110 per share, which gives you 1/50th of the miner's hashrate.

Since this is a 550 GH/s unit, that works out to 11 GH/s per share for R15/R15B. Unit will be hosted at bobsag3 at the world's lowest hosting/management fees, for a limited time. This should be shipping between mid. November and the end of the month (estimated). Incremental and monitored Overclocking will be implemented as we'll be keeping things nice and chilly.

Your share price includes acquisition of an estimated 20 minutes of UPS/Battery Backup + Gas Generator backup, included in the discounted share price to keep BTC flowing during: short outages (blackouts), voltage sags (brownouts), and voltage spikes, as well as to provide power filtering. The special purpose Gas Generators our co-op buying power allows us are meant for providing power during longer outages.

Thanks once again to bobsag3 for making these KnC Jupiters available to the GB forum and the DZ MC.

11/10 PM update from bobsag3 - In addition: the R15 funds will pay for an additional APC 900W UPS with Battery Bank *and* a *second* gas generator just for the DZ Miners Cooperative.

If you have questions as to how this whole darn at-cost, Democratic Miners Cooperative that's also a mesh network works, please send me a PM or state your concerns publicly as there's nothing to hide in this co-op.  Smiley

Only hurtful or trolling posts will be deleted as we welcome all valued opinions, insights, concerns, and improvement ideas to improve our at-cost (or even below cost) cooperative of about 37 120 members (so far).

If you'd like to follow up your private refund request with a public refund request as a public confirmation, that's actually a big help as a double check.

Thanks.

Just a reminder: we should be fully hashing by Friday/Saturday.

===

I think we need to remember how much we've accomplished as a small team that hasn't been together for very long, as a reminder that while we're sending out Refunds for R13, we've succeeded in launching working new miner hardware out into the wild, almost 4 months ahead of Black Arrow's Prospero launch (I may end up picking up the first batch of chips in Feb. if bobsag3 is buying tickets). Although we're working on a smaller scale: we've succeeded where much, much larger and well funded teams and manufacturers have failed. From the time we announced pre-sales on near term hardware, to delivery and preliminary mining, was only a matter of 2-3 weeks. bobsag3 has already promised at least 7 BTC compensation to R9-13 to account for lost hashrate.

By participating in yet another innovation we've succeeded in adding to the GB forums, we've proved that a small dedicated team *can* procure and sell ASIC hardware at an affordable price, and have learned alongside with our customers how "sausage" gets made (hint: it's not always pretty).

So thank you for the support and again: we apologize for the oversales condition for Round 13, and hope that you'll accept 1 months free hosting as compensation, to stick with us for another week. If not, no hard feelings. It's simply business.

We're evolving into a real, honest to goodness business thanks to the support of our customers and partners and refunds are simply a fact of doing business and having to adapt to news and changes that effect us.

I've also mentioned previously that we're planning to launch cloudhashing for our pro version of our co-op's site (version 2.0). If we do launch cloudhashing, we plan to remain true to our roots of bare bones, rock bottom ASIC rig prices combined with our customer service (which we hope we're doing a good job of, even though this is essentially only our PT jobs at the moment that we're trying to perform with really bad backend tools for now).

======================================================================================================

If/when we launch our pro cloudhashing services, we will have a special offer just for our active co-op members if/when we launch this, as our thank you to our loyal customers.

======================================================================================================

Cheers,

DZ, Founder of "the lil co-op that could" and a new Cryptocurrency focused Intl. company

2. I have a preliminary report of R13. Unfortunately, due to broken boards from the R9-12 Bullet Run (sometimes you can't make an omelet without breaking eggs), we will not be able to get to full hashrate on R13 until about Thursday/Friday next week. The BA replacements for the broken boards are shipping Monday.

This is pretty unclear. Is there a reduced hash rate until Th/Fri or no hashing at all?

There is no hashing of R13 at all, at the moment. The amount of broken boards in the Bullet Run that are being replaced is equivalent to R13's hashrate.

There were also sales he had to get out for people that bought full boards at higher prices outside of our GB, so that also reduced his stock.

You can request a refund OR wait a week to start hashing and get the equivalent of a $200 miner hosting bonus for waiting.

2.
Will the R13 start to hash today?

How often will be mined BTC shares send to ours wallets?

Hi Pablo,

Sorry for the delay. We're not intentionally ignoring people; everyone in the co-op is just really, really busy (and also have other jobs...at this point).

1. A consequence of our world's lowest prices and free tools which helps lead to these low prices, is well, crappiness from these free tools. The orders have to be processed and confirmed by hand at this point (keeping in mind that some orders required multiple payments and can require a bit of detective work when this happens). The back end is terrible, and Thomas was in the middle of getting the details on refunding about 180 BTC correct, so that was the biggest priority in the free time he had.

We actually had to slow down the refunds. In our rush to get BTC refunds back as quickly as possible, about $1K worth of BTC was accidentally sent (which was fortunately returned by an honest co-op member).

We're also victims of our own success in that we've had so many sales come in to our site, that it's really been a PITA to try to keep up (while also planning, holding daily board meetings, and registering sub companies for our far flung and varied pro crypto ventures we're setting up in various parts of the BTC economy).

To deal with this site backlog and fundamental site problems: we also had a long mtg. yesterday with a site designer who is a fellow GB Coordinator who runs his own GBs and is a website designer. He does great work and we're proud to be associated with him. Work should begin this weekend on our professional Version 2.0 site, with much, much better order tracking and back end tools which will make all of our lives much simpler, and should help reduce the time between processing and when orders show as complete.

In the future we also plan on adding pro cloudhashing to our pro site.

We will NOT be compensating R13 via BTC for lost hashrate; we are an at-cost Miners Cooperative that gives you the world's lowest prices and most exclusive deals, and are already compensating members for lost hashrate due to Bullet Run issues that arose in R9-12.  We cannot afford to give charity for R13 on top of the compensation we are already doing for R9-12.

You will have two options to resolve this:

A. You can request a refund and we will process it as quickly as we can.

B. You can wait until Friday/Saturday Nov 16/17, when R13 should be fully up and running. For your patience in waiting an additional week, bobsag3 will give R13 a free month of miner hosting, which is currently worth $200.

Please let us know what you decide. If you don't send a PM to thomas_s. requesting a refund, then we will assume that you're ok with the default B option which gives you a $200 bonus in the form of free miner hosting for the first month.

There still are no better deals for ASIC hardware around IMO.

3. We've decided on a 1st of the month and 15th of the month payout schedule for DZ MC GBs.

R9 thru R12 has reached the minimum hashrate which was promised. We're still awaiting software improvements to chainminer, which we hope will help hashrate as well.

R9-R12 have been merged into one big mega pool and will all be paid out the same (as well as compensated for lost hashrate as we waited to get to our minimum hashrate.

Therefore: To reduce clutter on the GB forum and to simplify R9-12 discussions, please move your questions and discussions for these 4 rounds to this thread.

Thanks.

Sorry, I'm told R13 is the *last* BA Bullet Run we're hosting for now.
