841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOU need to Stop using YOUTUBE! come and check this new platform! on: February 19, 2020, 12:25:23 PM
It's good to know that such step is being taken towards that area. The truth is, it will be hard for people to let go of YouTube but if the team within this project will work hard and remain true to their goals, objectives and road map then gradually they will start attracting the right attention, a look at steemit says it all. From the look of things, it is still in beta version that is to say not in full potential yet, however the team still have a lot of work to do but owing to the fact there is reward for users that means people will at least give it a trial and from there might get involved.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: February 19, 2020, 12:16:59 PM
You carefully outlined it and it's the fact of what's happening even till now. I think greed comes through lack of knowledge on the project; that is, once hype sets in and the person failed to make out time to study beyond that hype to know the truth, he might be consumed by hype that he invest a lot. Trust as well is a big issue, many projects fakes many things just to make investors trust them hence the reason for proper research. Most people don't even care, once they see a partnership news or anticipated products they let down their guard.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: February 19, 2020, 12:09:49 PM
There is a reason they are called major altcoins, and they have survived for long and keeps maintaining their services and products to remain at the top. Other altcoins what have they done to improve? It is better to hold a token which has survived many bear markets with solid platform than a one which the future is still uncertain. An altcoin like ETH, is the first altcoin which is worthy to be in ones portfolio and it is a major altcoin and it is not losing its value as well. Anyone telling you to look past major altcoins for long term holding is not telling you the truth. If you aren't ready to hold altcoins then hold BTC that's better.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why exchange coins moving up.. on: February 18, 2020, 10:20:45 AM
These exchanges you mentioned are good and therefore holding their coin is also a good move because with upgrades or improvements leads to more value and we all knows what it means for a token of be valuable. On the other hand, there are exchanges which has failed to make their own token attractive or stand out and therefore can't be compared to these ones aforementioned. So it's right to say, the type of exchange token we tend to hold is very important. In addition, I can say that, their increase in price can also be likened to the movement in the market which many other altcoins were part of.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Enjoyed this Unpredictable Season Bull / Bear on: February 18, 2020, 10:11:02 AM
Some times we cant Even judg weather this is Bullish market or Bearish. I thinks here will a lot of people who will be also confused like me. Where we are looking for a Bitcoin uptrend session ongoing, at the other side here is also many altcoins showing a solid bounce back.

But in my opinion this is a time for experience traders to make profit by switching coins and booked profit. Here are also many unexperienced trader or those who got panic by seeing other coin booming and their coin in not showing good move or getting volume.

Here is only way for make money which is keep patience and wait for your turn, Don't be greedy. But one thing will be matter, Are you holding a Strong coins.

From the look for things, it is certainly holders that enjoyed most they were really happy they did. It all came like, will it be the bull run and gradually everywhere turned green and before most can get in holders were already benefiting, therefore it can be said that their patience paid off. I agree with your last paragraph, patience is one of the vital things needed to succeed in this space but this is only applicable when one is holding strong coins just like you said. Lastly, removing greed is another thing which can't be taken for granted.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 18, 2020, 10:06:02 AM
On the off chance that you intend to put money/Funds into Alts, kindly do your own examination and know that deceitful advertising sensationalizes pretty much every altcoin projects. Altcoins, and the organizations behind the projects are additionally helpless against guideline, Bitcoin isn't.

Bitcoin is the far superior investment for 2020. Not exclusively is it seen as a place of refuge resource, but at the same time it's the first digital money and consistently leads blockchain advancement through it's BIP procedure

If you must hold altcoin because they always bring better profits do not go too deep and make sure your altcoins are top altcoins

To begin with, I will really commend you for this. Actually the one of the most or best investment advice is investing what you can afford to lose especially when going for newer projects or some altcoins, like those not top altcoins. Holding a coin like ETH doesn't come with much issues because it always regain its value once there is a favourable market. Bitcoin on the other hand can't be compared to any because it is the best anytime any day. Furthermore, let's seek for those altcoins which are genuine in their doings at least with a working and proven products it saves unnecessary headaches.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BNB after 5 years? on: February 17, 2020, 08:32:25 PM
What happens to BNB coin after 5 years? Because then you get no discount anymore? Then what is the purpose of BNB anymore?

Future prediction is one of the things beyond human understanding and power, no one can actually say what will happen in the next few days let alone 5 years from now. Remember this crypto environment is unpredictable, therefore we can only say that with the current improvements going on in Binance exchange and if the team should continue in that same manner then there is every tendency that BNB will retain its value and even grow more. BNB being the platforms token is what signifies the growth of the exchange thus will continue to be used for various activities within the exchange.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value! on: February 17, 2020, 08:03:45 PM
Did you hear about IronX and WPP? Both came in 2018, and both raised good money from ICO! From February 2019 to now, in IRONX telegram group 2-3 admins are active, if you ask about any update, they will reply to you "Our Technical team is working behind the scenes, very soon you will get an announcement"

Then I left their telegram group in March 2019, then a few days ago I was remembering all projects of 2019 then I joined IRONX telegram group again to see the latest update, you know what, admins are still active and giving the same answers what they copied year ago!

I don't know how many days I will remain mad after seeing this (Sarcasm)

Now, about WPP! Admins are very active for nothing. They raised 59 Million USD, just listed on Digifinex exchange and that's it, their coin value became worst, trading volume less than 1K USD! Whenever you ask to update, they will reply to you with shitty information, if you ask them back, they will ban you!

I heard about WPP and all its hype, funny they are no way closer to what they promised. To be frank, these projects aren't the only one behaving like this, they are in fact many; if they didn't raise any fund why claiming to? And if they did raise funds why not show proof of development? There have been many projects with that same line of "working on their projects" yet for months nothing to show for it, for such projects I consider them dead and distant myself from it since i won't get any vital information from them when i ask.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At the end of the year! on: February 17, 2020, 07:54:29 PM
I don't know why crypto experts/analysts always play safe by saying at the end of the year that coin price will go in that place/price! So, people wait 12 months to see it if they are right or wrong?! At the end of 2017, that was a miracle and after that so-called analyzer keeps predicting a high price by setting the timeline at the end of the year! We saw what happened in 2018 and 2019! It's better to learn the price chart and see other things to make your own prediction and strategy. Don't fall in words guys that Reddit co-owner, or Twitter owner or any other big names predict a high price, always do your own research in every sector in crypto. Good Luck.

It's not a new thing, in fact most so called experts are used to it, there are some that predict towards the end of the year while some predicts during any little bull run but once it stops they stop as well. I only blame those who listens to them because most of those predictions has never worked, starting with Bitcoin which have been predicted over and over again yet not proving them right. Most times I tell people this crypto market hardly follows any prediction thus it's better to do your study on any coin and invest within your capacity.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: February 16, 2020, 11:57:56 PM
When up-and-coming DEXs become more convenient than Binance...

Projects like:

Stakenet
Komodo Atomic DEX
Nash
Blocknet
Bisq
Switcheo
Loopring
IDEX
WAVES
Bithumb
...And many more...

Why would anyone ever want to keep using centralized exchanges, especially when their volume becomes irrelevant?

Why would anyone voluntarily send their funds to a wallet on a vulnerable exchange where they don't own the keys and their funds could be frozen at the drop of a hat?

I think the days of centralized figureheads acting as gatekeepers are numbered.

It will really take a while before Decentralized Exchanges or Dexs overtakes centralized exchanges. Just compare the volumes in both types of exchanges, you will see the difference is so huge. Also compare the speed of the platform, you will also notice the difference, trading tools  too aren't to be left out among others. All these are what makes the centralized exchanges better than the other type. Nevertheless, in terms of security, Dexs always leads the way, as it proves to more secure. Therefore it is right to say, for Dexs to overtake centralized exchanges they need to work on various things which are very important.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is that real TRON has bought Steemit. on: February 16, 2020, 11:38:34 PM
I saw the news that is saying Steemit has sold to TRON.

I saw Steemit post on the medium they described nothing and just said.
Quote
"We are very excited to welcome Steemit into the TRON ecosystem… Together we will usher in a new era of decentralized social networking.”

Why they do that even it was the best blogging media?Huh

Seriously am yet to read such about Tron buying steemit but will make efforts about it. Well it might come with mixed feelings but who knows it might be for the best; Tron ecosystem is already booming with growth so acquiring steemit might be a good decision. The question is, why selling steemit? Maybe it's because the team lacks any further idea on how to continue keeping the project alive hence the reason for selling, either way am not happy steemit is being sold as the original idea on which it is built on might be changed but yet it's better to be sold to keep it alive than allowing it to go down the drain.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinsbit’s CEO resigns to Start his own Marketing Firm on: February 16, 2020, 11:27:04 PM
Nikolai Udianskyi, one of the main 10 blockchain business visionaries, reported that he has left Coinsbit and built up a showcasing organization PRMR.com which draws in interest in Ukraine and around the globe.

Udianskyi, Coinsbit’s CEO and fellow benefactor said he sold his organization enthusiasm to ITECOSYSTEM OU. Coinsbit, which Forbes recorded as one of Asia’s TOP-10 blockchain firms in 2018, has as of late pulled in 1.1 million clients to record.

Source: TheCoinRepublic

Who really knows the motive behind selling his share as the CEO, one might argue that he sold it to cash out or he sold it in order not to allow the platform or exchange crumble, really no one knows we can only assume. Nevertheless, I don't find it entertaining that someone will sell his share as a CEO of a project and move on to other things, does it mean he got tired of the reason why he created the exchange or what? Well like I said, we can only assume and I think it's better to always stick to providing quality services than abandoning a project with large users mid-way it doesn't speak well in my own understanding.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins a definite solution against a bear market? on: February 15, 2020, 12:08:39 PM
Yes I think so, at least at the moment where there is a bear market the best is to convert to stablecoin thereby guaranteeing that you are not in the lossing side. This is certainly what most if not all users do, and also even when holding it one can still look to invest in other coins which can bring a short profit. In addition, during trading most traders also holds their profits in stablecoins. Thus, one can't be mistaken for saying that YES, stablecoins are the solution one can lay hands on during a bear market.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins founders need hire one that complement their efforts, please. on: February 15, 2020, 11:53:10 AM
You just said it all and it's accurate. Let's take an example; assuming the CEO or founder of a project is an entrepreneur and the project is all about payment systems, if he refuses to hire the services of those who are good in developing mobile wallets etc, will the project survive? The answer is NO. Therefore in all practical sense, a CEO or founder can't handle the entirety of the project alone he needs to hire people who share the same belief and have the neccessary skills to perform well. But sadly enough most upcoming projects are found wanting in this case and they keep struggling and dying while solid projects or platforms like Binance exchange, ETH etc keeps leading, because the founders knows their roles and plays it well while others focus on theirs.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a quick warning on: February 15, 2020, 11:41:42 AM
No matter how promising a project might look, especially if they are new projects just look them as if they have nothing to offer and invest only what you can afford to lose. Do not keep your eggs in one basket, do not fall in love with a single coin, no matter how good they are always keep digging, many more good gems won't hurt than relying on a single gem 💍. Be smart

This is a good warning which I see as a good advice. No matter what the project is promising it is wise to participate with spare funds so that In case of unfortunate events one can still move on. In time past this crypto space has taught us vital lesson which one can't forget so soon. There have been many projects which looked legit only to defraud users, there are also others which had a good public sale but didn't list on any exchange, while there are others which list and the team abandoned the project. So with all these experiences, your warning is very important and accurate; make your research on any project but always invest what you can afford to lose.

857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another wallet key lost. on: February 14, 2020, 08:23:22 PM
Yesterday someone I knew uninstalled his wallet from his android phone mistakenly and he told me to help him recover his wallet but guess what? he did not write out the wallet recovery phrase, the wallet consist of 640$ worth of bitcoin, he was broken, felt pity for him, how can someone not take recovery seed serious? that's what came out of my mouth, Really I felt pity for him because he went through a lot to gather that bitcoin, people need to start taking wallet keys or phrases very serious, newbies should please understand that without these keys you lose your money, time and energy

Who knows the pains he will be passing through now, not to talk of now the market is booming. What I deduced is that, he failed to take the necessary steps required before holding any coin and these steps comes in the form of knowing everything about wallets, how they work, how to save the private keys etc. He failed to know these and it costs him alot, so therefore as his friend, encourage him by teaching him everything that you believe will help him prevent such mistakes from happening again. I wish him the best.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Classic or Ethereum? on: February 14, 2020, 08:19:03 PM
Am curious, and will need several opinions here, in most news out there I hear echos "Ethereum classic is a real Ethereum", how do you guys think?

As of me, I believe in strong tech, working products and services.

See here for reference ->https://twitter.com/eth_classic/status/1122533934536036353

Let's see how helpful are your opinions.

Ethereum is far better Ethereum classic and it will continue that way, this is my opinion. Yes, Ethereum classic is good as well but can't be compared to Ethereum. Ethereum has been growing and advancing for a long time now but same can't be said about Ethereum classic which has been struggling all this while. Furthermore, there are users who likes to keep both as you never can tell what the future holds and in the same way, there are users who sticks to Ethereum as it's offers better opportunities.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's website is asking private keys of the holders. on: February 14, 2020, 08:13:04 PM
It is certainly scam and can't be argued. Like seriously, how can one release the keys that gives him control over assets to the team, it doesn't make sense and certainly spells doom for those who tries it. The blockchain space is know for using private keys etc as a means of security, even every wallet will state it clearly that users should save their keys and don't give it out; and here is a platform asking its users to give out theirs. I won't do it and instead look for a way to dump and move on because such platforms do not last.
