861  Economy / Speculation / Re: how low can it go on: May 29, 2018, 11:37:23 PM
Bitcoin price is now below 7,400$. We are seeing constant declining of the price since 5th may. Can you guys tell me how low it may go or we can hope that it may rise after this month.
It is impossible to tell how low it can go, but it did not go down below $7k and if it breaches that support level then it can go down to five thousands too, right now the market is recovering and this will be the trend for some time until there is big investments coming in.
862  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations getting smaller and smaller? on: May 29, 2018, 10:33:30 PM
Why is Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations getting smaller and smaller? How do you view the current price of Bitcoin and how we should handle the transaction in the later period?
With more users coming into bitcoin these fluctuation should close the gap on how big the price moves in both directions and it is clearly evident if you are in the market for the past few years where the price would rally on a big scale in both directions but things are changing with evolution of the market.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How should I split my $100k? on: May 24, 2018, 05:14:38 AM
This is the prime time to invest when the market is down, i would not suggest you to invest all that in this market but you can hold some top ten coins in the market for the long term if you aim is to make profit, i would rather choose low valuation coins with potential for the long term than grabbing high valuation coins but since you are planning to invest a huge amount you can hold some coins with big valuation too for the long term.
864  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and AI will improve the world economy on: May 24, 2018, 04:50:34 AM
blockchain and AI will have a huge impact in our world economy, and every aspect of our lives as we know it. Of course, this might take quite a few years to happen, but the benefits provided by such technologies would be too hard to ignore.
There will be a huge economical impact with the implementation of blockchain because it will be transparent and AI is the future but it will have some implications on the job market without a doubt as the jobs we see now will be taken over by AI and i am not sure how it will impact the job market but it will have some implications moving forward.
865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin market going to collapse? on: May 24, 2018, 03:25:44 AM
In the long term, the blockchain technology is very disruptive. Bitcoin will more likely compete with Gold, Ethereum will provide a backbone for many uses.

So I am not really sure a collapse is incoming, it depends if a real bubble will quickly form.
The real white of bitcoin does not say that it will be a store of value alone, it is primarily a currency that can be traded world wide and that is the biggest strength of bitcoin than the rest of the said altcoins and if that happens it can compete with the rest of the markets.
866  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Moving towards 6000$ on: May 24, 2018, 01:44:14 AM
I don't think the price of bitcoin can be decrease more and hit $6000 or not, but I think the price will stay at the $7K level.
You really cannot predict a bear market like that, we have seen that in 2014 when the price went down drastically and that can happen even now and the market might recover at a later time.

What I see from the live bitcoin chart just few minutes someone sold a large amount of bitcoin and I think the price could decrease more soon.
There are many early investors who are having a huge stash of coins who opted the big blocks and it is possible that they are selling off their coins, they could really have a big impact on the price if they plan to sell ten percent of their coins.

867  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = $7,992.71 should i buy and wait or on: May 23, 2018, 05:09:07 AM
1 BTC = $7,992.71 is it now the right time for a person to buy bitcoins and keep to earn more profits OR i still have to hold?
Considering the current market situation it is not a bad buy either if you are planning to hold for a year or you could even earn a couple of thousand dollars when the market recovers and propel back to $10k, another important thing is that when it comes to investment, you should not listen to anyone if you want to be successful as an investor, you need to have your own conviction.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can FUD destroy bitcoin? on: May 22, 2018, 09:14:47 PM
No, nothing can destroy bitcoin, bitcoin will continue to survive and will become more popular in the future. Bitcoin is decentralized and it will make bitcoin last long-term.
A decentralized system alone cannot make the bitcoin last longer, you need to have merchants accepting bitcoin around the globe and it must have a real world use to make it popular among the common peers, there could be ways that can destroy bitcoin if we are not able to scale so that everyone is able to use, the FUD wont destroy bitcoin but it can have some impact in the market and most of the time it usually recovers in a short period of time.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: May 22, 2018, 03:38:41 PM
Every business needs to adapt to changes and challenges like this. Im pretty sure banks are already finding ways to join the bandwagon.they will surely profit from it. It would just be a matter of time until they accept bitcoin deposit and withdrawals.
The business needs to update according to technological upgrade but that does not mean that banks must be involved in the crypto market and i am sure they will not accept bitcoin, it is specifically made to transact fiat currency and they are under government regulation and why would they want to accept it unless the government accepts bitcoin as a legal tender it is not going to happen.
870  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining equipment sales expected to drop on: May 21, 2018, 10:19:02 PM
There is a big flaw in this assessment because the reduce in mining equipment sales does not mean that the interest in the market is going down, support for mining is one thing and investing in the coin itself is another aspect to look at the market, there is another aspect for the slow down in GPU sales simply because there are ASIC machines to mine those coins, so this is an inconclusive study.
871  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or why not? on: May 21, 2018, 09:50:41 PM
the word about cryptocurrency is spreading around the world and more and more people are interested in it, so 20K for one bitcoin will be definitely, but do not expect this this year
Having a timeline for the price jump is really hard to predict and hence you really cannot tell that the price wont touch all time high this year, it only needs a couple of good trading weeks to reach those valuations and we have plenty of time this year to reach those valuations.
872  Economy / Economics / Re: New investor and prices on: May 21, 2018, 08:14:41 PM
If we have less new investors, so the prices tend to fluctuate less? How much dependent of new investors the prices are ?
Depends on how much money this investors are bringing in. Less investors with huge capital can make the prices fluctuate more while less investors with minimal capital will have a small effect with regards to the prices.
If they have invested when the price was low then they could fluctuate the market, for the next rally to happen we need to see more investment pouring into bitcoin and these institutional investors are our hope for the next rally and make no mistake about that. Wink
873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin price ready to touch the moon..?? on: May 17, 2018, 12:31:22 AM
Do you guys forget the basic properties of bitcoin? ....
Although thousands of times the price of bitcoin drops but in the end bitcoin always returns with new record/price, which's higher than in previous years.
I am also expecting the exact same outcome, last year i never expected the price to rally up to $20k and i usually go to those speculation threads and would laugh literally about the amount of threads being created about crazy prices, because i never expected this kind of movement in a short period, so i am not worried about the short term corrections and finding it difficult to break resistance because it will somehow find a way to rally at the end of this year.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: May 17, 2018, 12:13:55 AM
Yes to until now I am still faithful to use Myetherewallet, because of I used to follow ICO project always platform ETH. Using MEW I feel it safe to store my coins, even within months. With the news that MEW is easy to steal people, I am not afraid. As long as I hold my private key.
It is not about holding the private key anymore, there are phishing sites that are trying to steal your keys, it has happened in the past and it will happen in the future, holding on to your private key is the only bet you have in this market and if you keys are lost because you entered it in a phishing site, the investment you have made till that time will vanish just like that, avoid using your private keys in public sites.
875  Economy / Economics / Re: Feeling bitter in banks? on: May 16, 2018, 08:10:26 PM
I have notice that some of us here in the forum have this kind of bitterness feeling in banking sectors. They always compare banks and cryptocurrency and to the extent that they want to eradicate banks and to be replace by crypto. Are you sick and tired of reading this kind of post?
The fact is that bitcoin is not here to replace banks but it will have a change in the entire economic structure in the future, we need the support of banks to convert bitcoin to local currency and wise versa, if the banking sector cuts off their ties with exchanges it will be difficult for world wide adoption without a doubt, we need both to co exist to have a better solution for everyone.
876  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather see steady growth in Bitcoin or strong upward spikes instead? on: May 16, 2018, 03:46:57 PM
Majority of the users want bitcoin to have a stable growth, you cannot expect a stable growth in a market which is new, since this is the early stages we will see these spikes in prices every now and then and as years goes by the volatility will decrease by the amount of users in the market, right now the volatility is much lower in the past few months than we had in the past because last year was a game changer as there were many new investors in the market.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: May 15, 2018, 09:51:08 PM
people touhgt they were going to release some big news on conseuns but they just presented their product and now we wait for more news after consensus when whales are going to become intersted in xpos
What is the big news you are expecting from them, they are in schedule and they wanted to demonstrate their product to the world and it is one of the practical projects i have seen in a long time and if they could capture more markets and countries then this will be a huge asset for every crypto users as you could literally use their cards in stores, if the merchant adoption is strong then there is no doubt that the price would cross 1000 sat in the next few years.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is altcoin is too riscky to invest now ? on: May 15, 2018, 08:28:36 PM
I don't believe in any altcoins, they seem to grow, but then fall lower than when you bought them. One step up, two steps down.
If you are investing at good projects then you wont end up in a loss, before investing you need to take into account the market situation and the potential of a project and if the price is right you might end up in a big profit, i had made my money in alt coins than in bitcoin and only last year i made the best profit with bitcoin when the big rally started.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: “BTCP to replace monero as the top privacy coin” John macafee on: May 14, 2018, 10:25:48 PM
This wasn’t a paid shilling confirmed. It wasn’t a tweet either, it was an interview in where he expressed his opinion. He is also an extremely high end software developer who knows what projects have solid coders. You can hate macafee and btcp all you want if that makes you feel better or you can do some research. I’ve been a programmer for 8 years so if you feel the need to talk seriously about a project let’s talk. I can tell you right now that btcp developers are top notch and this project is massively undervalued for what it offers.
Do you have any idea about how advertisement works, he was an developer is the apt sentence, he developed something in the past and i do not see any new projects he released in the past decade, i was a software developer in the past but the technology is changing rapidly, i am not sure about BTCP or its development team.
880  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 22 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: May 14, 2018, 09:23:05 PM
We'll be launching Litecoin on Primedice in 20 hours!
WoW aren't there other coins that need much attention than litecoins?
What about byteball? Seems like a much promising coin to me. Best of luck with including alts to the site.
Also, will this possibly affect litecoins price in any way?
It is a welcoming news for litecoin holders as this is one of the first crypto based gambling site and if there is a real case use of litecoin than hoarding there will be some change in the valuation as more people will be purchasing the coin.
