What a game of test cricket we have noticed today, the game got ended in just two days. I felt this was a big mistake by the South African management to create a pitch that is not friendly for batters. I was expecting the match to continue for 5 days, which did not happen. Good comeback by the Indian team they lost quite badly in the first test match, and they won quite convincingly in the second game. Why was Shiraj not given the due amount of overs today? He could have wrapped up the game before tea. Bhumrah got his own 6 wickets and as usual, this guy was consistent. Mukesh Kumar is a good bowler he needs to be selected more for international games by the selectors.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: January 04, 2024, 10:28:11 AM
It seems that they will weekly launch a pool for new projects and it will be bullish for bnb and at the same time with the projects being listed. Anyone farming here? Hows your income so far?

A few hours back I got a notification from Binance that they would be listing AI today. I had funds in my Binance wallet and was planning to buy some of it as I have been seeing how crazy these new listings pump. Unfortunately, I was not able to buy them immediately, and before I could react it pumped by more than 4000%. Is it even possible to pump so much organically or Binance is using bots to pump those listings from its launchpad initially? Currently apart from AI all other new listings can be seen in red. I also wonder how to buy these tokens before listing I am new to this new time of altcoin and haven't explored this zone.

Another wicket has fallen in quick succession. This time it is Iyer, he started well but got caught to the brilliant bowling of Burger. India has already lost 4 wickets and have only 55 runs lead. They would need a convincing lead to win the final test match. I feel a lead of 200 runs would be defendable. Looking.at the present situation it seem distant far from being achievable.

Not a good sign, better than what the South Africans did earlier in the day. They were all out before the lunch 😁 as it is kind of shocking for me. They are playing in thier home ground and they made a pitch supposedly suitable for them. They won the toss and then choose to bat, which became a nightmare for them. This game is totally screwed by the host as India lost only 4 wickets with 119 runs on the scoreboard.
865  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Campaign a cheap DCA method. on: January 03, 2024, 01:00:28 PM
I feel OP is an alt, the way he wrote about signature campaign doesn't sounds like a newbie. Coming back to the topic:

Where should I start, okay I took notice that everyone has something of a rank with their name in the forum and I think mine is newbie

It will take you a period of six months minimum to get to the rank of a Full Member rank. If you keep on posting topics like this one it might take longer.

It talked about the advantages of rank in campaign which I later found out is an advertisement where one get paid in Bitcoin. Like someone doing DCA for you for just posting now that's cheap and not subject to psychological battles with demons.

DCA is basically investing a certain amount in Bitcoin in a weekly or monthly basis. It has nothing to do with a Signature Campaign. Whereas Signature Campaign is a source of earning Bitcoin without investment. As per rank a certain amount is paid every week to an user who is part of that campaign.

After thought: I smiled that i  would bliz through it and become captain marvel  (legendary)  until I saw a member with a thousand plus post and not yet a full member that dashed my confidence away. Maybe in 10 years time I would be a member Cheesy
Don't try to disguise yourself behind the pain to become a legendary. Rome was not built in a day, it takes a lot of patience and perseverance to become a legend here. Understand that this is the only forum where someone new with dedication can earn Bitcoin without investment.
866  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: January 03, 2024, 12:11:59 PM
Jaiswal has been a failure in this test series and thank God Rohit scored a few runs. Now it's is time for Gill to prove himself with Kholi on the other side. The pitch looks very deceiving and uneven. Not that easy to bat and if these two can play the rest of the day then tomorrow it might ease down. For now it looks very bad for batters and I feel it wouldn't be bad tomorrow.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Real World on: January 03, 2024, 12:07:51 PM
I still don't understand why a .jpg extension image is so hyped. The hype is not even dried down in 2023 as earlier it was being speculated that NFTs won't be in business for long term. I did not follow any projects when it came in existence and I am not following any project now. My friends are still into NFT and as per their saying its hype won't go down. Not sure about the real world usage.

868  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitcoinETF approval will possibly cause much bigger jump than most people expect on: January 03, 2024, 11:20:28 AM

Interesting and volatile days ahead!  Smiley

I do not know whether Bitcoin ETF would be approved by the SEC. One thing is certain we would see as you mentioned interesting and volatile year. It is not only ETF but we will be seeing the next halving probably in the month of March or April this year. If a single ETF gets approved before halving then this would be the first year in the history of halving that we would notice a Bitcoin bull run. There are a few big economies that will be having their election to choose their next government. We would then see a stream of regulations getting approved in different countries. Overall an interesting year awaits all of us.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15 year anniversary of Bitcoin Genesis block 3 Jan 2024 on: January 03, 2024, 10:13:12 AM
15 years have already passed by? it still feels like it was a few years ago. Those were the days when very few knew about Bitcoin and now a new generation of Bitcoiners are already in the making. So many changes have happened from 2009 to 2024, if I went on writing about it there wouldn't be space left here. The only thing that is left for me to say today is Happy Birthday, Bitcoin!
870  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: January 03, 2024, 10:02:13 AM
The second and final test match between South Africa and India has started. South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first, which now looks like a wrong decision again made by them. They have lost 9 wickets and have only 51 runs on the board. A 6 wicket haul by MD Shiraj got them into this situation which is pretty bad considering they won convincingly the first match. Bhumrah took 2 wickets and Mukesh Kumar took 1, this match is going to be super interesting from the Indian point of view.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Top 3 Altcoins of 2023? on: January 02, 2024, 10:22:12 AM
I haven't been in touch with altcoins for quite sometime now. The altcoins that still comes to my mind are BNB, Matic and Ethereum. These three have been existence for a long time now. They do have a good market cap, they are trading way below their ATH. The next bull all the three will explode and will get to a new ATH.
872  Local / India / Re: do you want to learn about bitcoin from gary gensler? on: January 02, 2024, 09:21:55 AM
Start doing yoga or go out for a run and you will not feel lazy, you need some physical activity in your daily life. I haven't heard about this individual before your post. If you find it interesting then you can create a thread on his teaching. I prefer reading then watching whenever someone is teaching anything. That how I have been trained in my school days and it helps me to understand anything.
873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scam Sniffer 2023: Crypto Phishing Scams Drain $300 Million from 320,000 Users on: January 02, 2024, 09:08:32 AM
Looks like a lot of people out in the world doesn't have the knowledge or understanding about Phishing scams. Since hackers are still able to use the phishing technique in 2024 to scam people easily means a lot of people enter the cryptocurrency world without proper security understanding. We in the forum have been discussing these scams for long time. That why we have not fallen for it, X.com has now become a paradise for scammers. I prefer to stay away from social media as much as possible.
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC unconfirmed transactions exceed 500k on mempool on: January 02, 2024, 08:51:05 AM
In the past, it was temporary I guess although I had no idea about the fee market before 2019. I heard that there was a spike in the fee back in 2017. But this time, you know what's causing it & we are likely to see the spike every now & then. That's not something good I guess. That's going to create more problems in the coming days.
We know the reason for the congestion and given time the hype will go down. I deel that it is a temporary problem and we would see the fees coming down. It is not that I am okay with the high fee. I guess no one here is the forum is happy, we need to have patience and avoid small transaction if possible for now. LN is not an on chain solution but it is the answer for anyone looking to do small transactions at low fees.

875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i need a few trx for fee on: January 02, 2024, 08:14:08 AM
Why dont you get some from exchange like buy some trx then deposit on your wallet to withdraw your usdt. I assume thats an airdrop isnt it?
Maybe they do not want to pay the tx fees and service fees of the exchange for such low amount of TRX. They could possibly buy more and use it over a long period of time, but they may not be too sure how often they will use them after this transaction.

OP for privacy reasons you may not get someone to send to you, if you have a local community here, you can ask there and someone may be able to help.

- Jay -

The minimum amount for purchasing TRX on Binance is $10 and OP is looking for 1 or 2 TRX. Now the question that comes to my mind is which wallet is OP using. If he is using Tronlink then he has to freeze a certain amount of TRX to obtain the Energy to transfer USDT which is free of fee. I am sure that 1 or 2 TRX won't help him to obtain good energy in the Energy. Since this is OP's first post that is looking more like begging to me. I think the best option here is to ignore the plea or he should provide more details about this transaction.

Snip..

Rahane is a failure for me in test cricket in the revet time. After watching what pujara accomplished in his last test match, it is evident the selectors are ignoring him. Let's wait an watch before coming out with a conclusion. The selectors would comeback with a replacement if they come up with a solution.

877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC unconfirmed transactions exceed 500k on mempool on: December 31, 2023, 07:23:54 PM
Hi everyone
right now we have 520k unconfirmed transactions on mempool with 1.9 GB capacity
do you think this may affect BTC usability especially for small transactions right now
you need to pay 15% fees for 100$ transaction if the devs didnt ban those BRC tokens
we may even see fees exceed 100$ and we may reach millions of unconfirmed
transactions in the future and only whales and miners will benifit
No, it won't as we have seen such amount of congestion in the past. The transaction fee is a concern, that is agreed in an age where congestion is normal. The reason being the devlopers wanted a challenge, ultimately they found a way to get the network spammed by Ordinals.

The option you have now is to start learning about BTCLN. If you want to know more then search Google by typing Bitcoin lightning network as it is the only solution to these high transaction fees.
878  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do we spam on: December 31, 2023, 04:22:40 PM

You asked the question and you answered it too. Yes, I have to agree that people have alt accounts and are enrolled in signature campaigns, which is the reason for generating spam.

So, you mean all signature campaigns are the reason for the spam in the forum? According to what you have written above it means that all campaign manager encourage spam as they allow alts to be part of their campaign. According to your reasoning, the managers are just allowing such guys to earn and spam the forum without checking a user's way of writing, or timing of writing and they are unable to understand the writing pattern before selecting a user.

What I wrote is still debatable, but a manager can remove any participant from their campaign without giving any notice to them. According to your statement, they are not doing it as the signature campaign is the reason for spam here. Thanks for enlightening everyone with your valuable feedback. I guess the signature campaign manager for your campaign needs to look into such replies of yours. Your logic and your spam reply is an evidence of how users like you come up suddenly, join a campaign, and then start spamming the forum.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BRC20.COM a legit project? on: December 31, 2023, 01:45:17 PM
You would be ignorant to understand the possibility of the BRC-20 token in the future. They have been spamming the network which they were not supposed to do it. The reason for them to become an unstoppable issue for Bitcoin is the reasoning behind it. A lot of investors are spamming the network for it to be on the Bitcoin chain and that is a concern.

Considering how Bitcoin has been for years now, such an innovation is problematic as per my understanding. I am not going to question them as they did nothing wrong, the reason to support it is the developers have allowed it. If they can as in the developers who are working on the blockchain can find a way to stop this kind of spamming is something needed urgently.
880  Other / Meta / Re: New Year = New Password (...and new you, too!) on: December 31, 2023, 01:32:42 PM
Happy New Year Everyone!

I've been thinking for a while now that it's probably time to change my password.  Then, when I logged back in I see 2FA is now a thing so I thought I'd make the suggestion that others consider changing their passwords.  Besides, how many times do you have your bank or email account (or work for that matter) "suggesting" you change your password?  Quite often I would imagine.

I have not encountered a situation when my email got hacked or I lost my email access. That is something, I feel is an achievement for, knowing how important this forum means to me, I would agree with your point about changing the password of forum password.

Set your password to ten to twelve characters - but not ones that are only found on your phone (otherwise you'll be stuck logging on on you cell phone)  - source a random password generator app and don't use words or phone numbers/birthdays.  (which app do you use?)

Thanks for reminding me what kind of length is needed to set a password. However, this is not something I was not aware of as I have been in this forum for some time now.

As to New Years resolutions - I tend not to make any but am keen to hear what yours are.  In the past, I've tried reading all those books that have been gifted to me over the years.  Read some of them, but not all.  Anyone make weight loss resolutions or quite drugs/smoking/vaping/drinking and fail miserably?

Good for you that you have a resolution as for me I do not care about such resolution. As I have been breaking those resolutions that were made by me  Grin

Happy New Year to everyone around here, anyone who is reading this reply of mine, I would say one thing you were amazing and you are still. Enjoy this day and do not come up here to write a reply Grin
