861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can governments find a way to tax Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2017, 02:04:29 AM
for me it is depend on the government on how they implement the rules and regulation to tax bitcoin in there country.
for us bitcoin earner we already paid the tax that added to the fee on every exchange or transaction we made.

Those fees are not for governments but governments want to tax for the money you earned from your investment profits. Usually, a tax will be paid only for the profits you earned from any investments but I don't know how governments will track at what price one bought bitcoins and whether they made profit or loss? If they can able to track these details then only they can ask to pay the tax otherwise it will be difficult to do it.
862  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 07, 2017, 01:49:59 AM
I am still hopong for a jackpot til now lol. Anyways have anyone discussed their invest on their wallet system? Like storing the amounts on their wallet anf gsin interest? I think that it was not stated of how much interesr would they give to their users on a percentage based of couree
4.08% of annual interest
Discussion of this is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1838072.0

Personally I will not trust any form of online wallet including wallet freebitco.in provide to store my bitcoin for those tiny returns.  Wink

Lol yeah!
Especially a FAUCET
I mean common, it's already incredible that they survived this long. If you check out 99% of faucet have simply disappeared.
So a Faucet oppening itself to investment?
I say be cautious, once your coins are on there site there is NOTHING you can do.
Are you ready to risk all your BTC for 4% a year?

If yes please send them to me :p

It is a good point. Once you give money to them, then you need to wait until they send you back but suddenly close than nothing can be done. Also for bitcoin investment, 4% is almost nothing because if you hold bitcoins in your wallet then sometimes you can make these 4% profits within a day by trading. I think if someone wants to earn free coins then use this site but not for any investment purpose and don't risk your hard earned money.

I loss continues in 31 times at bet odds 3
I loss 0.25 btc
Its my borrowed money
Please anybody help to recover that amount
Kindly please sreekandank7@gmail.com

Did you ask anyone before gambling using borrowed money? If you didn't ask before then why are you asking now people help?

You should never gamble with borrowed money.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 06, 2017, 02:16:30 AM
Darn rain again stops play just when Australia needed this win as now they need to beat England if they have any chance at making it through. So far this tournament has been disappointing due to the weather and I think they should of started the tournament in July as by then the weather should be good in England. This could be the second time that Australia doesn't make it out of the group stage of the tournament as they didn't make it through in 2013.

It was a very bad planning by cricket board to arrange the matches during this bad session. They knew that these are very important matches and choose to play during rain session. If again next Australia Match stopped due to rain then they will be surely out from the tournament. Teams are lucky as long as they can finish the game in this tournament.

Today got an another good match between England and New Zealand. First NZ match also didn't get results due to rain. Today's match will be very important for both teams. It looks England team is stronger to win this match.
864  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: June 06, 2017, 01:56:53 AM
I'm not from xapo nor connected with them but I say that they are a real business and legit wallet. They have a good reputation but because of the changes now that makes me think of continuing to use them, they have bigger suggested transaction fee rather than with blockchain.info but when it comes to legality, they are real.
I have found out about Xapo few weeks ago and only after there were a lot of threads about that they were fee free and now became with fees. I don't use this site, so I can't say anything bad about it, neither good.

XAPO site is not a scam site for sure because in last couple of years I have transacted many bitcoins through this wallet and also I'm using their debit card to withdraw cash in ATM's. I find that their charges for all the services are slightly higher but surely they are not scamming anyone. But most of the people were used them for sending money without any fee so far but now they are charging a slightly higher fee for outgoing transactions.
865  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Commission for sending 1 btc now? on: June 06, 2017, 01:49:49 AM
Hello guys, plz tell me, which bitcoin web wallet is now the minimum commission for send 1 transaction? And what is the commission for sending 1 transaction now?

For your reference, this is the amount I deal with the fee last time (last week):

Coinbase = Around 110,000 Satoshis
XAPO = Around 160,000 Satoshis
Local Wallet = Around 120,000 Satoshis

All are standard fees and set automatically. Not sure for other web wallets.

After XAPO started introducing a fee for the outgoing transaction their fees are usually higher side compared to other exchanges or online wallets to send coins. Also, they won't allow us to change the fee amount, but you need to choose the two options they provided and is a faster transaction, and another one is for slow, but both of them are generally higher fees. So I have stopped using their wallet for any transactions.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: June 06, 2017, 01:34:42 AM
Where can i buy IOTA right now? Which is the cheapest way?
there's only one way atm
http://iotaexchange.com/
when you wait a week you can buy it on many exchanges (bitfinex f.e.)
from OTC on slack, ioexchange.com already closed iota deposit

Yes, they have stopped IOTA trading on slack last week itself. Now you can either buy with other members or need to wait until trading starts on exchanges. Also, their slack team looks very busy with other things so support currently very slow they usually don't reply your messages related to withdrawing your IOTA from slack. I can understand they will be busy but should have planned these things more professionally instead of making people wait for long to see their replies on slack. They have released few new versions of wallets but we don't know whether our old addresses are still valid or not and there is no clear information available on release notes.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 05, 2017, 03:03:38 AM
Yet another defeat for Pakistan against India in major ICC tournament, was expecting this result because they are the weakest team in the tournament and they are not performing well for some time,Pakistan could pose a challenge for minor teams but do not expect anything from them when it comes to the top teams as they are building up a team.

They main issue with the Pakistan team they are a lack of good experienced players and when they need to build partnerships but they failed to do it and go for big hits. But as you said they are trying for a very long time to beat India in a major tournament but until now they are not successful yet.

Today's match is between Australia and Bangladesh. It looks like one sided match but Bangladesh team is much better than Pakistan team so we can expect a good fight back from this team and sometimes they will give a surprise as well, and they are quite famous for that as well.
868  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂ 🎁10 BILLIONTH BET🎁Most Popular Dice & Roulette🎁 on: June 05, 2017, 02:56:12 AM
Wow its already 5 days since the winner of the 10 Billionth Bet and as of right now Bitsler is on the 10,217,315,000+ bets at this rate we could be seeing the 11 Billionth bet before the month of June ends. It seems like things are moving fast with the site after the promotion because and the number and speed of the bets shows it. It means that the promotions and the site itself are improving throughout the days. More success to come for Bitsler and its management.

the rate is incredible, think Bitsler is one of the top three fastest growing bitcoin gambling sites (if not the top one)
I have seen the audience increase from average 300 to 700,over 1000 and now stable 2000-3000 players online concurrently
one of the most famous dice sites in the industry has 17 bil+ bets and it is over four years old,Bitsler has 10 bil already and it was established November 2015 (if I'm not mistaken)

The bet speed is on of the factors, plus the variety of coins to play with. For sure if the flashbet still works, bitsler may have surpassed that 17billion.

It looks admin have a difficult time to manage the load on the servers. Because now bitsler has become quite popular and many users always on the site and if they allow these flash bet feature then they need to have a much better server to manage the load. Earlier they allowed because that time site traffic was very less and now it has grown quite fast. I don't think now they will again enable that feature anytime soon.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impact of micro-transaction on Bitcoin on: June 05, 2017, 02:35:21 AM
Because of the high fee I already shifted to ETH for smaller amount transaction if a seller is ready to accept. But if any product is more than a couple of hundred dollar worth still bitcoins can be used but anything smaller than that amount I don't it is worth to pay such high fees. As long as Bitcoins are limited in quantity its prices will grow because of its demand and it will become like a gold in cryptocurrencies.

Due to this, some other potential alt-coins will get a chance to grow its market value because many people will use these alt-coins for smaller amount transactions.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: need some trusted beting site?? on: June 03, 2017, 03:38:27 AM
Looks like I can not make recommendations, sory.
Many  feel disappointed with the absence of directbet.eu What are the advantages of the directbet?
Does the site provide convenience and benefits for its users? It seems I do not know much about it,

The main advantage with the directbet was we can bet without creating any account with the site. And their support was superb and I never had any issues with the deposit and receiving my winnings from that site. Also, many people like their live match betting options but some didn't like the site because they feel that their odds were slightly lower compared other sites. But so far I only used directbet site to bet on sports.
871  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: June 03, 2017, 03:33:41 AM
When you put your money in the bank, the bank has the power to control your money, if he thinks you are doing suspicious things then your account can be frozen, so I dont have total control of my money when I put my money in the bank and every of my transaction is recorded, I dont feel too comfortable with my transaction movement keep being watched

Apart from all those points you mentioned another issue is even to withdraw your own money in some countries (India) started to add some fee for each withdrawal from ATM. Since we can't control these banks so they can change their policies any time according to their benefits.  These banks do a lot of business with our money and still, they want to charge for each withdrawal makes something is not correct the system.
872  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of the BTC on: June 03, 2017, 03:27:59 AM
I don't think people will move away from bitcoins, ever. Bitcoins are very solid, even if it is old tech. Other coins might be innovative and all, but no one will move everything into them. Bitcoin is like gold and all else are other precious stones. That's my take on it. Even if I know that bitcoins are the least innovative, but I think it is still the best one.

We don't know how future will react to new technology. But bitcoins are the one started this creative technology, and they also can improve in the future and solve some of the existing issues. But if any other coin solves all the current problems with the bitcoins then they may overtake bitcoins but bitcoins will be there for long, and I think it will not disappear from the cryptocurrencies.
873  Economy / Economics / Re: Feeling the burn on: June 03, 2017, 03:24:34 AM
Too late, price is already $2500 now you could buy at $2200 and earn at least $300 2 days ago and even now is not that late if you hurry.

It is not late because do you know bitcoin prices will never go higher than current price?

For any investment all your earlier mistakes are learnings and with those experience should move on but shouldn't stop and just regret your mistakes. That's why people always says that it is better to diversify your funds instead just keep in one asset. You should have kept some bitcoins, and some should have used to buy other coins but now still you can start slowly again, and over the time you will still gain a good profit.
874  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Xapo starting to charge outgoing transaction fees on: June 02, 2017, 09:47:35 PM
their decision to give fees is reasonable but the fees is too high just for small transaction i sent 0.002 btc from xapo to other address the fee is 0.0014 btc although they give higher fee to the miner than that amount but for me 0.0014 btc is too high so from now i am quit from xapo Sad

As I am a "Dust-bug" this makes Xapo useless for me. Fees are prohibitive. End of Xapo for me.

Just now I checked to send 0.05 BTC they are asking to pay minimum 0.00184391 and for faster transaction fee is 0.00274439. It is almost equal to 4.5USD or 6.5 USD for faster withdrawal fee to send just 115 USD. It has become a worst than sending money through Paypal. Their charges are very high and not giving options to choose lower fee for the people who can wait long to receive funds. Yes, it is no more attractive to use their wallet for a daily transaction, but I'm using their debit card to withdraw only cash.
875  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: June 02, 2017, 02:21:28 AM
The rich people are likely to have cashed the coins out and placed their money in fiat so they can purchase something really fast instead of waiting for their transaction to confirm. Plus the people that may have gotten rich from Bitcoins may have cashed their money out because they think Bitcoin is done already.

No one can tell accurately what will be future is like so it all depends on the individual how they manage their investments and funds. I too had invested some money when prices were around 200+. Now I can't say already become a rich but I have booked some profit and rest of them keep it for longer term thinking that bitcoins have still potential to give a good profit. But surely who ever owning bitcoins from early 2000 would have been a very rich by now. I'm also started to invest in some good altcoins by thinking in future those coins may give better results than bitcoins.
876  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin acting like proxy for Gold ? on: June 02, 2017, 01:58:24 AM
There is no way the price of bitcoin prices is linked with the price of gold. The good thing about gold is that it's been there since forever, stable and one can make very good predictions. Bitcoin and crypto generally is in it's infancy, and nobody knows for sure how big it will grow. I expect unprecedented price rises in the near future.

Yes, we can't compare these two products. Gold is accepted by all governments and institutions as the best asset to invest money during financial uncertainty. On the other had bitcoins are just started growing up and mostly popular in gambling and some grey market dealings. And in most countries, it is not accepted and regulated as well. So even though its prices are higher than gold as of now we can't compare these two products.
877  Economy / Economics / Re: The Crash is gone, and we will see 3,500 usd within 60 days from today on: June 02, 2017, 01:53:47 AM
i think bitcoin price still range 2500 - 3000 dollar/bitcoin
after reach bitcoin price can down again, still very dificult to reach 3500 dollar

As of now, bitcoin has run up quite a lot. I feel for the long-term stability now bitcoin prices need to stabilise around 2000 range for some more time instead just moving upward. If it is stabilising at the current level for a longer time then in future we know that prices may not go down below 2000 range, but if it continuously moves up, then we will always have an uncertainty of crash feeling.
878  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone noticed? BTCJam has 0 Loan Request for More than a Month on: May 29, 2017, 03:35:59 AM
(...) The recovery option on Btcjam was through the legal arbitrary system but to be honest, it's very complicated to sue the loan defaulters around the world and that too for each $5, $10 worth of loan so at the end it was a pure waste of time imo.
I'd say it's almost impossible, that's why I insist that BTCJam's (and competitors') business model is unsustainable... Undecided

The rule of gold is: "No Collateral, No Money"!

These sites want to verify people identity based on the documents, but there are so many fake documents are available, and it is quite hard to find out what is correct or not. That's why when people take bigger loans easily they will disappear, and these sites will have a hard time to find a person. Finally, the lender will lose the money. So as you said this kind of sites will success if they allow lenders to own a collateral and they just some % of transaction money then it will success otherwise no.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 29, 2017, 03:29:56 AM
Dhoni too was fab but I was surprised by Virat's performance as he was playing really badly in the IPL and looked out of form. Now he's back and glad he is.
I want India to win obviously as I am an Indian but I feel Aus has a better chance of winning while India has won it last time. Tough to choose but I'll go with India as this time they have a better team and the IPL experience would go in their favor as well.
It is always good to see team India having a good performance but check out England too as they have one the best teams in world cricket and it will be hard to defeat them, with IPL drama over i think players are not getting proper rest, which could burn them.

England is an excellent team, but they always failed in some crucial games to win trophies. Since this series is happening in England, so they have a better chance to win this time champions trophy. Also, they are going quite good against SA in current series. But also can't ignore the other two best teams like Australia and India. These two teams any time can give a surprise to any home teams to win. Any wild guess on who is going win this time champions trophy?
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 29, 2017, 03:17:33 AM
No, I just see them as minor option for trading particularly the new coins and sometimes on the older ones bump or dump movements, sometimes like now they are useful to avoid the confirmation delays when conducting small micro-payments, But I don't see them replacing or taking BTC's place.

At present movement, you may not think that alt-coins are not going replace. But in the longer run if not all altcoins, one or two will either reach to near to its price or may overtake also. Currently, bitcoins are not able to take the more load, so its usage will be limited. So if any other altcoin solves this issue then slowly they may overtake bitcoins bit it will take a longer time to gain the user trust.
